Multi Parameter Design in AIML Framework for Balinese Calendar Knowledge Access

  • Balinese calendar is defined as a unique calendar system for combining solar-based and lunar-based system and assuming local system. It is considered as guidance of Balinese societies' activities management, starting from meeting arrangement, wedding ceremony, to religious ceremonies. Practically, it has developed in the form of printed Balinese calendar and electronic Balinese calendar, either web or mobile application. The core of the function is to find out the day with its various characteristics in the Balinese Calendar. In general, society usually asks the religious leader to find out the day in detail. The technology of NLP combined with models of pattern discoveries supports the arrangement of the interaction model in searching the good day in Balinese Calendar to equip the conventional searching system in the previous applications. This study will design a dialog model with AIML method in multi-parameter basis; therefore, the users will be dynamically able to use the searching content in various ways by chatting in similar with consulting to a religious leader. This model will be applied in a chatbot basis service in telegram machine. The addition of the context recognition section into 4 paterns has been successfully improve the ability of AIML to recognize input patterns with many criteria. Based on the testing with 50 random input patterns obtained a success rate of 92.5%.

프랙탈 차원과 수정된 에농 어트랙터를 이용한 인쇄체 숫자인식 (Printed Numeric Character Recognition using Fractal Dimension and Modified Henon Attractor)

  • 본 논문은 카오스 이론의 프랙탈 차원과 수정된 에농 어트랙터를 이용하여 인쇄체 숫자를 인식하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 숫자 영상으로부터 망 특징 투영 특징, 교차거리 특징을 1차 구한 후, 이 특징들을 시계열 데이터로 변환한다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제안한 수정된 에농 시스템을 이용하여 프랙탈 차원을 나타내는 자연 척도 및 정보 비트값을 구한다. 마지막으로 표준패턴 데이터베이스와 비교하여, 최소 거리값을 이용하여 숫자 인식을 행한다. 실험 결과 10가지 숫자에 대하여 100%의 분류율을 나타내었고, 또한 실제 문서를 대상으로 실험한 결과 90%의 인식률과 초당 26자의 인식속도를 보임으로써 제안된 방법의 유효성을 보였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 유전율 1.06, 두께 $\lambda$/4인 발포체 기판상의 얇은 필름에 인쇄한 새로운 형태의 단일층 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나를 설계했다. 안테나의 대역폭이 광대역 임피던스정합을 얻기 위하여 3차원 트랜지션을 사용한다. 안테나의 방사패턴 및 반사손실, 전압정재파비는 "IE3D" 시뮬레이션 패키지를 사용하여 계산하여 측정결과와 비교했다. 측정 결과 전압정재파비 $\le$ 2:1 인 대역폭이 중심주파수 6.8 GHz에서 약 65%로 광대역 안테나임을 입증하였다. 그리고 반사손실 및 전압정재파비는 계산치와 실험치가 거의 일치하였다. 거의 일치하였다.

측면 윤곽 패턴을 이용한 접합 문자 분할법 (Character Segmentation Using Side Profile Pattern)

  • 본 연구에서는 접합 문자를 분할하는 알고리듬을 소개한다. 문자 인식기는 문자를 인식하기 위해 문자 분할을 전처리 단계에 필요로 하는데, 문자 분할은 높은 수행력을 위해 문자 인식 결과를 필요로 한다. 이 딜레마를 해결하기 위해서는 문자 분할과 문자 인식, 이 두 문제를 동시에 해결하는 방법이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 문자 분할 전에 접합문자 내에 있는 소속 문자를 인식하고 문자를 분할하는 새로운 문자 분할 방법을 제시한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 문자 분할알고리즘은 접합 문자 내에 있는 소속 문자를 문자 분할 전에 인식하기 위해 측면 윤곽을 정의하고, 그 히스토그램을 구해 프로토타입에 있는 단일 문자의 측면 윤곽 히스토그램과 비교 계산하여 가장 적은 거리차를 가지는 단일 문자를 분할 문자의 일차 후보로 내정하여, 분할 비용을 가지고 접합 문자를 분할한다.

플라스틱 포장재의 잔존 인쇄 용제 감소 방안 (Study about decreasing methods of printing ink solvents residue amounts on plastic food package materials)

  • Amount of residual ink solvent on the packaging materials from Korea, Japan and Europe was measured and compared. The amount of packaging materials from Korea was much higher than that of Japan and Europe. To reduce the residual amounts of ink solvent, aging condition of printed packaging materials including aging time and temperature was modified and evaluated. Aging with high temperature and short time ($60^{\circ}C$ and 24 hours) was more effective for reduction of residual amount of ink solvent than that with low temperature and long time. To find out change of reduction pattern of residual amount of solvent according to plastic packaging material, several monolayer and multilayer packaging materials were selected. Among the monolayer packaging materials, the amount of EVOH and PET was lower than that of polyolefin plastic film including PE and PP. PP/EVOH/PET among the selected multilayer film showed the lowest amount of residual ink solvent on food packaging materials. Result of this research revealed that the residual amount of ink solvent can be reduced by proper selection of aging condition with and by appropriate application of mutilayer plastic film.

현대패션에 나타난 레깅스 디자인의 조형적 특성 연구 (A Study on Formative Characteristics of the Leggings Design in Contemporary Fashion)

  • Leggings are recognized as unique fashion items that meet the needs of customers to express individuality due to their protective and thermal functions. They are highly practical fashion items that show a casual, street and sportive style with a noted influence on outdoor leisure fields. This study analyzes the sociocultural background for the spread of leggings as well as their design characteristics, coordination characteristics and authentic characteristics. The formative characteristics of modern legging designs are as follows. First, the shapes of modern leggings are ankle-length, calflength, above-knee, knee-length, stirrup and top of the foot-length. Leggings are transformed in many ways: length-expansion, side-slit, unbalanced length, variations of straps, cut-out, trimmings, pattern transformation and complex form. Second, modern leggings contain achromatic colors in modern and sensual image, vivid colors in sportive image and metallic colors futuristic and technical image. Third, leggings patterns value originality, uniqueness and rarity as shown by printed geometric patterns, hand crafted geometric and natural patterns, and abstract patterns expressed through various materials and themes. Fourth, modern leggings' textures are categorized into erotic, simply-functional, seasonless, glossy, and metallic. Functional and fashionable leggings reflect the psychological needs of modern society. This study suggests a direction for the development of legging designs and provides a theoretical database for higher value-added leggings business.

건식법으로 1-Octanethiol 코팅한 Cu 나노 분말 잉크의 잉크젯 인쇄 기술 적용 (Inkjet Printing Using Cu Nano Powder Ink Coated with 1-Octanethiol in Dry Method)

  • Inkjet printing was successfully done using Cu nano powder ink after these Cu nano powders were dry-coated with 1-octanethiol for oxidation prevention. 1-octanethiol, which is Self-Assembled Multi-layers (SAMs), was coated approximately 10-nm thick on the surface of Cu nano powders. 1-Octanol, which has the same chain length as that for 1-octanethiol, was used as a solvent to make the ink for inkjet printing. As a result, the fabricated ink was dispersed for about 4 weeks, and after printing and heat treatment at $350^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours, the resistivity for the printed pattern was measured to be $1.15{\times}10^{-5}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$.

현대패션에 나타난 픽셀의 표현 경향과 특성 (Expression Trend and Characteristics of Pixel in Contemporary Fashion)

  • This study examined the pixel's expression trend and nature featured in contemporary fashion, which works as a basic unit symbolizing the digital image, paying attention to its formativeness. The work through this process aimed at suggesting an opportunity for recognition about pixel image utilized as a formative component beyond its simple meaning of unit and providing the fundamental materials for usage in creative fashion design reflecting the digital emotion in the future, In research method, literature review was followed on pixel and the empirical study about its image was also performed that was found in the modern fashion. As a result, the trend in pixel has these characteristics. Its first nature lies in its plane expression. It was printed as mosaic or graphic grid image or expressed through patchwork technique. Also, rather than a certain form or figure, its unique image was emphasized according to the applied color, size, and position. Second, a stepwise pattern in pixel was applied to external format for part of clothing, eye glass and necktie, indicating some interest and wit. Third, in application to plane and external shape, the graphically modernized effect was realized, not to mention the illusive image with cubic expression. As shown, the characteristics in contemporary fashion via pixel expression were given in fantastic image, optical humor, and reflection of digital value.

  • The regularity effect for printed word recognition and naming depends on ambiguities between single letters (small grain-size) and their phonemic values. As a given word is repeated and becomes more familiar, letter-aggregate size (grain-size) is predicted to increase, thereby decreasing the ambiguity between spelling pattern and phonological representation and, therefore, decreasing the regularity effect. Lexical decision and naming tasks studied the effect of repetition on the regularity effect for words. The familiarity of a word from was manipulated by presenting low and high frequency words as well as by presenting half the stimuli in mixed upper- and lowercase letters (an unfamiliar form) and half in uniform case. In lexical decision, the regularity effect was initially strong for low frequency words but became null after two presentations; in naming it was also initially strong but was merely reduced (although still substantial) after three repetitions. Mixed case words were recognized and named more slowly and tended to show stronger regularity effects. The results were consistent with the primary hypothesis that familiar word forms are read faster because they are processed at a larger grain-size, which requires fewer operations to achieve lexical selection. Results are discussed in terms of a neurobiological model of word recognition based on brain imaging studies.

디지털 프린팅용 글래스-세라믹 복합 잉크 제조 및 특성 평가 (Formulation and Evaluation of Glass-Ceramic Ink for Digital Ink-jet Printing)

  • Ceramic ink-jet printing has become a widespread technology in ceramic tile and ceramicware industries, due to its capability of manufacturing products on demand with various designs. Generally, thermally stable ceramic inks of digital primary colors(cyan, magenta, yellow, black) are required for ink-jet printing of full color image on ceramic tile. Here, we synthesized an aqueous glass-ceramic ink, which is free of Volatile organic compound(VOC) evolution, and investigated its inkjet printability. $CoAl_2O_4$ inorganic pigment and glass frit were dispersed in aqueous solution, and rheological behavior was optimized. The formulated glass-ceramic ink was suitably jetted as single sphere-shaped droplets without satellite drops. After ink-jet printing and firing processes, the printed glass-ceramic ink pattern on glazed ceramic tile was stably maintained without ink spreading phenomena and showed an improved scratch resistance.
