The influence of the emotion of envy as a variable in the brand attitude has increased. This study validates the influence of envy types, brand awareness, and regulatory focus chronic of consumers on favorability of luxury fashion brand. This study was designed with the mixed factorial design of 2 (envy types: benign vs malicious) ${\times}$ 2 (brand awareness types: high vs low) ${\times}$ 2 (regulatory focus chronic types: promotion focus vs prevention focus). The data for this research was collected from a questionnaire distributed to 302 subjects aged between 20 and 39 in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas; consequently, a total of 275 data were analyzed. Data were analyzed with SPSS 23 program and three-way ANOVA, Simple interaction effects and simple main effects analysis were conducted. The results of this research were as follows. First, envy type and brand awareness showed significant interaction for the favorability of a luxury fashion brand. Second, envy type, brand awareness, and consumers' regulatory focus chronic showed significant interaction on the favorability of luxury fashion brand. Based on the findings, the characteristics of consumers' regulatory focus in brand attitude must be taken into consideration by luxury fashion brand marketers. The use of SNS strategies to induce emotions of benign envy through the comparisons to close acquaintances is recommended in order to raise brand preferability.
Purpose:The present qualitative study explored adolescents' perceptions regarding effective strategies to prevent adolescents from using tobacco products (TP). Apart from the commercial TPs, there has been emerging use of alternatives such as vapes, e-cigarettes and shisha. This unfortunate phenomenon continues despite the currently available preventive strategies. Thus, understanding of the perceptions of the current generation would be valuable to provide new insights. Methods: Purposive sampling was utilized to recruit 40 adolescents between the age of 15 and 16 years old attending public daily secondary schools. Eight focus group discussions were conducted among the TP users, ex-users and non-users. Data were analyzed using a thematic content analysis procedure with NVivo. Results: Among barriers with the currently available strategies were having teachers who smoke tobacco, addiction to nicotine and self-perceptions of being healthy. The content of any program should include knowledge on negative outcomes of using tobacco products and awareness of the legislation together with ways to overcome peer and family influence including improving self-efficacy and refusal skills. Strategies were suggested to be delivered using information technology which provides interactive learning and visual effects. Conclusions: Adolescents agreed that the content and delivery of tobacco use prevention strategies need to be revised to suit the current generation to ensure sustainability.
Purpose: This study was designed to describe the experiences of dementia prevention program for older adults in nursing homes. Methods: Four focus group interviews (FGI) after the program were conducted with 35 participants. All interviews were audio-taped and transcribed verbatim. The transcribed data were analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological method. Results: Four themes emerged as a result of analysis. Participants without dementia reported "I don't have dementia yet." This statement probably reflects ignoring potential dementia. Motivation for participating the dementia prevention program were to reduce boredom, to enjoy exercising and communicating with others, and to follow group activities. Participants reported the positive effects of the program; (a) benefits from the repeating learned activities; (b) improvements of memory and emotional stability. A few participants reported their inability to follow the program due to physical and environmental limits. However, other participants reported their efforts to overcome physical limits and perform the activities regardless their limits. People who performed the activities with physical limits reported that their self-satisfaction was increased. Conclusion: Results of this study showed that participants without dementia were able to actively participate in dementia prevention programs and showed memory, emotional and behavioral improvements. Therefore, these findings can be used for developing customized dementia prevention programs in nursing homes.
Purpose: The study aims to identify factors that influence university students' compliance with infection prevention behaviors in the early stage of COVID-19. Methods: A survey was conducted online from July 29 to August 2, 2020, involving 261 students enrolled in general universities. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression analysis were carried out on the collected data using SPSS 24.0. Results: The average score of university students' risk perception of COVID-19 was 3.80, while the average score of health risk communication was 3.92. The average score of efficacy beliefs was 4.42 and the average score of practicing infection prevention behaviors was 4.54. Factors influencing the level of infection prevention behaviors were efficacy of preventive behaviors (β=.48 p<.001), health risk communication (β=.16, p=.003), subjective health status (β=.12, p=.015), and the type of college (β=.11, p=.041). Conclusion: In order to improve college students' infection prevention behaviors related to COVID-19, consideration should be given to providing interventions that focus on accurate knowledge and dissemination of accurate information about new infectious diseases and effectiveness of infection preventive behaviors.
In materials science, one of the new concerns in the construction industry, it is well established that mineral dust from rocks (stones) has adverse effects on human health. For instance, it is suspected that some mineral dusts in particular leads to occupational diseases, including lung cancer. The present research concerned the relationship between cancer and those workers who work in Turkish construction industry and quarries and are exposed to silica mineral dust from natural stones. One focus was cancer prevention methods applied in-site. In mining and construction industry where stone dust is widely used, silicosis induced lung cancer is frequently seen. Cancer cases which are seen across the regions mostly affected by silica containing dust in Turkey were identified and a survey was conducted of the methods to protect workers in the construction industry from exposure to silica dust.

Background: Prognosis of breast cancer depends on classic pathological factors and also tumor angiogenesis. This study aimed to evaluate the clinicopathological factors of breast cancer in a tertiary centre with a focus on the relationship between tumor angiogenesis and clinicopathological factors. Methods: Clinicopathological data were retrieved from the archived formal pathology reports for surgical specimens diagnosed as invasive ductal carcinoma, NOS. Microvessels were immunohistochemically stained with anti-CD34 antibody and quantified as microvessel density. Results: At least 50% of 94 cases of invasive breast ductal carcinoma in the study were advanced stage. The majority had poor prognosis factors such as tumor size larger than 50mm (48.9%), positive lymph node metastasis (60.6%), and tumor grade III (52.1%). Higher percentages of estrogen and progesterone receptor negative cases were recorded (46.8% and 46.8% respectively). Her-2 overexpression cases and triple negative breast cancers constituted 24.5% and 22.3% respectively. Significantly higher microvessel density was observed in the younger patient age group (p=0.012). There were no significant associations between microvessel density and other clinicopathological factors (p>0.05). Conclusions: Majority of the breast cancer patients of this institution had advanced stage disease with poorer prognostic factors as compared to other local and western studies. Breast cancer in younger patients might be more proangiogenic.
Background: The aim of the present study was to investigate perceived inhibiting and facilitating factors concerning cervical cancer early diagnosis behavior in Turkish women over the age of 40. Materials and Methods: The study was carried out by qualitative focus group interview with 35 participating women, in the period between April-June 2010. A semi-structured interview questionnaire based on the Health Belief Model and the Health Promotion Model was used. Content analysis was applied to the study data. Results: Barriers such as lack of knowledge of women as regards to the cervical cancer and early detection, lack of sensitivity-negligence, forgetting, fear, inadequacy of health insurance and transportation, financial problems, inability to get an appointment, lack of female doctors, embarassment, fatalist approach were frequently addressed. As for facilitating factors, these included provision of information, health professionals showing interest and tolerance, free services, provision of transportation means and reminding telephone calls. Conclusions: Focus group interviews were found to be effective in determining inhibiting and facilitating factors concerning cervical cancer early diagnosis behavior. In line with the results of the study, preparation of structured national and regional education programs and their addition to curriculum programs may be effective in realizing and maintaining positive early detection behavior.
Based on the information framework and regulatory focus theory, this paper verifies the impact on the advertising effect when the matching effect forms between the video advertising content type (Information Type, Entertainment Type) and the information framework (Promotional, Prevention) and the regulatory focus (Promotion Orientation, Prevention Orientation) in social media. In order to verify, after selecting of the experimental subjects and finishing the prior investigation of the experimental operation, four video advertisements and formal experiments were performed. The experimental results showed that first, the content type affects the advertising effect of the video and the information framework; when the information video matches the preventive information framework, it will have a more obvious positive effect on the advertising effect; when the entertainment video matches the promotion information framework, it will have a more obvious positive effect on the advertising effect. Second, with the two matches of video content type and information framework, the entertainment-oriented video has a more obvious positive effect for the information-oriented video audience; the above results enrich user created content research and improve the quality and communication efficiency of video in social media.
