  • Objective: This study was to find ways to let a manager or superintendent rationally and consistently inspect as well as let a embryologist precisely record [The Book of Supernumerary Embryo Preservation] and [The Book of Supernumerary Embryo Donation]. Methods: Based on the data collected between 1994 and 2004 in Clinic 44 (Maria Fertility Hospital), [The Present State about Production and Use of Embryos], [The Preservation of Supernumerary Embryos and Their Thaw State], [The Present State about Thaw and Use of Frozen Embryos], [The Present State about Donation and Charge of Frozen Embryos], [The Book about Frozen Embryo Discard], and [The Summarization Book about Management and Use of Frozen Embryos] were designed and recorded. Results: The production, use, preservation, discard and donation quantity of human embryos, the use and discard quantity of thawed embryos, and the cumulative embryo preservation quantity could be totalized in [The Present State about Production and Use of Embryos in Clinic 44]. Also, [The Preservation of Supernumerary Embryos and Their Thaw State in Clinic 44] supported "the supernumerary embryo preservation quantity" etc. In addition, [The Present State about Thaw and Use of Frozen Embryos in Clinic 44] or [The Book about Frozen Embryo Discard in Clinic 44] supported "the use and discard quantity of thawed embryos" etc. Moreover, "The embryo donation quantity" could be totalized in [The Present State about Donation and Charge of Frozen Embryos in Clinic 44]. Finally, [The Summarization Book about Management and Use of Frozen Embryos in Clinic 44] could be used for rational and consistent management or inspection. Conclusion: The present results suggest that the documents not only be standard data to record [The Book about Supernumerary Embryo Preservation in Clinic] and [The Book about Supernumerary Embryo Donation in Clinic] but can also be preserved as treatment references.

  • This study was designed to suggest a landscape agreement in order to effectively preserve historical and cultural landscapes at this point of time when many landscape agreements are being concluded for landscape management, to analyze landscape management methods according to the problems of comprehensive and widespread landscape agreements and landscape types and to generalize landscape agreement contents. To begin, sustainable and practical landscape management plans that local people can themselves participate and carry out were proposed, based on historical and cultural landscape preservation guidelines extracted from the consideration of domestic and foreign cases about landscape management by citizen autonomy and participation. The guidelines considered what regional residents would follow by themselves, as well as what should be considered with regard to the accessibility and symbolism of a building's appearance and external spaces designed with the motif of historical and cultural landscapes. The guidelines also pay attention to the maintenance management of outdoor advertisements and facilities in order to maintain a pedestrian-friendly street environment which pursues designs in harmony with the existing historical and cultural landscapes. In addition, the recommended guidelines that are considered less important, are restricting the sizes of buildings, encouraging maintenance management of the details and external spaces to hide building facilities and block them from being exposed and including information about the use of nature-friendly materials, and the management of neon signs in the landscapes and lighting time during the night. These results demonstrate that local residents need to improve the landscapes and change their consciousness by themselves to maintain the historical and cultural landscapes with a sense of tradition.

  • Recently, The government has been brought in the electronic document system. So, It's been increasing the job processing with the electronic approval and the distribution business. However because of the variety of the storage type of electronic document, it's expected many difficulties in the public-usage and etemity-preservation of the information later. also, There are several problems to manage electronic document system, for example, absence of the important function for managing records, etc. So, We propose the methodology as a way to solve several problems of managing electronic document in this paper. It grows the business which is produced in processing the electronic records management. The kind of document file produced by the government is various. Through introducing the standard format of document file, hereafter it has an effect on helpfulness in standardizing the electronic document system, and people recognize the situation of problem to append the important function of the preservation and usage for the electronic document system. The key task is to make the document system with keeping records and following functions according to the law of records management. As applying the standard electronic document system to manage records, the records of the processing section to the data center and then the records of the data center transfer to the government records and archives center. So, the records which be transferred can be preservative and available. The record, such as visual and auditory record which is not easy to digitalize, can be digitally preservative and available in the government records and archives center.

  • This study aimed to design an evaluation system applicable to permanent record management institutions, focusing on the Seoul Archives, in order to implement the reevaluation of permanent record management institutions. As a process for this, an area for evaluating evidence, administrative, and historical values was established and detailed evaluation factors were derived. In order to effectively apply the set evaluation factors, the evaluation procedure was designed by dividing them into three stages. In the first stage of law-based evaluation, long-term preservation was determined by identifying the position and legal form of policymakers that can be immediately evaluated according to clear standards. Records that have not been determined for long-term preservation were reorganized into evaluation factors, such as record management standards, official document classification tables, pledges, and policies, which are the second stage of business function-based evaluation, and then comprehensively applied to review the validity of long-term preservation of held records. In the second stage of evaluation, records that were not judged as long-term preservation were judged by applying historical events, cultural assets, and collection policies in the subject-based evaluation stage, which is the third stage of evaluation. The designed evaluation system can find significance in minimizing the arbitrariness reflected in the evaluation and increasing the efficiency of the evaluation, and it has been confirmed that it is possible to evaluate comprehensively reflecting the various contexts and values of the records. In addition, a re-evaluation system suitable for permanent records management institutions was established by combining balanced macro-evaluation and micro-evaluation.

  • Although overseas countries have already developed data life cycle for the preservation and curation of data since the 1990s, the research in Korea has been very insufficient. In this study, we analyzed the data life cycles developed in DCC, ICPSR, IWGDD, DataONE, USGS and UKDA to propose data life cycle for efficient management of research data. As a result of the analysis, the common components derived are 'Plan', 'Create & Collect', 'Process', 'Preserve', 'Dispose', 'Access & Use', 'Describe', 'Assure' and 'Backup & Secure'. In addition, the nine components were subdivided into stages to describe the details to be carried out at that stage. It is expected that the content of this study will be applicable in the future development of data life cycle for research data management in Korea.
