Mucopolysaccharidosis type III (MPS III) or Sanfilippo disease is an orphan-inherited lysosomal storage disease. It is one of the most common MPS subtypes. The classical presentation is an infantile-onset neurodegenerative disease characterized by intellectual regression, behavioral and sleep disturbances, loss of ambulation, and early death. Unlike other MPS, no disease-modifying therapy has been approved. Here, we review the curative therapy developed for MPS III, from historically ineffective hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and substrate reduction therapy to the promising enzyme replacement therapy or adeno-associated/lentiviral vector-mediated gene therapy. Preclinical studies are presented with recent translational first-in-man trials. We also present experimental research with preclinical mRNA and gene-editing strategies. Lessons from animal studies and clinical trials have highlighted the importance of early therapy before extensive neuronal loss. Disease-modifying therapy for MPS III will likely mandate the development of new early diagnosis strategies.

The aim of this paper is to conduct a hydrodynamic analysis of fluid flow over different weir types using the analytical solution, the physical model taken from another article, and numericalsimulations through the Smoothed particle hydrodynamic method (SPH) using the compiled DualSPHysics source code. The paper covers the field of real fluid dynamics that includes a description of different proposed types of weirs in various flow regimes and the optimal solution for the most efficiency structure shape. A detailed presentation of the method, the structure and it's characteristics are included. Apart from the single stepped weir, two other weir types are proposed: a Divided type and a Downstream slopped type. All of them are modeled using the SPH method.

This study analyzed online word-of-mouth information using content analysis to help practical categorization of two-sided eWOM. A total of 402 online consumer reviews on search goods and experience goods were collected. Descriptive characteristics(information direction, length of review line) and content structural characteristics(product benefit types, information presentation methods) were used as analysis criteria. The study results are as follows. First, the types of two-sided e-WOM direction were made of positive/negative, negative/positive, positive/negative/ positive, and negative/positive/negative. Second, the length of two-sided eWOM was longer than the length of one-sided eWOM and blended type accounted for the highest proportion both one-sided and two-sided eWOM at the aspect of product benefit. Third, holistic presentation method was overwhelmingly high in one-sided eWOM, whereas blended and analytic presentation methods were somewhat high in two-sided eWOM. Fourth, holistic presentation method was high in search goods, whereas blended and analytic presentation methods were high in experience goods. Based on these results, implications for two-sided e-WOM study and further research issues were discussed.

Colon cancer is the second most common malignancy in Korea. It is classified as superficial type, the mass type, the ulcerative type, the ulceroinfiltrative type, the diffuse infiltrative type and the unclassified type according to the colonoscopic findings. We report here on a case of colon cancer that was initially misdiagnosed as acute infectious colitis at the initial presentation. A 64-year-old man visited to Yeungnam University Hospital for watery diarrhea and lower abdominal pain. Colonoscopy revealed long segmental edematous mucosa and hyperemic mucosa with stenosis in the transverse colon. He was diagnosed as having acute infectious colitis according to the colonoscopic finding. However, two days later after colonoscopy, he visited the emergency room for hematochezia. We performed computerized tomography (CT) and obtained blood samples to find the origin of the bleeding. We found thickening of the transverse colon lumen and ascites on the CT finding and an elevated level of tumor markers; we also obtained the results of the colonoscopic biopsy that was done via colonoscopy. He was finally diagnosed as having colon cancer with carcinomatosis, a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to address differences between mental health according to sasang constitution and ego state among college students. Methods: Data for this cross-sectional study were collected by administration of questionnaires eliciting Woo's ego state scale, QSCC II for the sasang constitution classification, and SCL-90-R for mental health to 393 college students. Analysis was performed using IBM SPSS (version 19.0). Results: The Free Child ego and Adapted Child ego differed significantly among sasang types. The ego-gram pattern of So-eum type exhibited the N pattern (Nurturing Parent (NP)>Adapted Child (AC)>Adult (A)>Free Child (FC)>Critical Parent (CP), AC-high type), however, the ego-gram pattern of other constitution types showed the M pattern (NP>FC>A>AC>CP). No statistically significant differences in mental health were observed among sasang types, however, among ego states, AC and CP showed negative correlation with mental health status. Between So-eum type and So-yang type, AC was the factor predicting mental health. Between Tae-eum type and undefined type, AC and CP were factors predicting mental health. Conclusion: These findings suggest that sasang constitution could be an important factor in understanding the ego state and mental health status. We conclude that sasang constitution should be considered in interpretation of mental health status presentation in clients.

Recent advances in perinatal care have resulted in improved survival of extremely low birth weight infants (ELBWI). However, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) remains one of the major complications in ELBWI. BPD was originally described over 40 years ago; the clinical characteristics, epidemiology, and pathogenesis of BPD have changed markedly through this period. In this article, I have reviewed recent progress in research concerning the clinical presentation and characteristics, epidemiology, and pathogenesis of BPD.

Total elbow prostheses which are now available in clinical use can generally be classified into two major categories ; one bing linked prostheses, another being unlinked prostheses. Of those two categories I am dealing here only with the problems of the unlinked type prosthesis, particularly with those of non-constrained, surface-replacement prostheses. Furthermore, my presentations this time may have to be narrowed down only to the topics regrading the particular features and some of the technical problems with Kudo Elbow Prosthesis, due to the time limit assigned for this presentation.

The objective of this paper is to develop a finite element structural analysis program using VB(Visual Basic) which has been recently getting popular as development tools of application program for Windows. VB provides several functions to develop an application program easily by supporting event-driven programming method and graphic object as control data type. This system is an integrated processor including preprocessor, solver and postprocessor. Automatic mesh generation is available at preprocess stage, and graphic presentation of deformation and stress is also represented at postprocess one.

This paper discussed the limit of existing safety controls where the use of land around hazardous industry. There is a gap between engineering evaluation of acceptable criteria for loss reduction and risk exposure to the areas of high risk outside plants from the aspects of risk perception. The paper performed how land use safety could be designed between the density of uses with the duration of risk exposure by type of land use. It concluded the needs of multi-dimensional presentation for an appropriate risk controls on existing and future land use safety.

In our paper [4] we showed that over bar $A_{n-1}$ is a split extension of (n-1) copies of Z by the symmetric group S$_{n}$ of degree n. We show in this paper how over bar $A_{n-1}$ appears naturally as a subgroup of the natural wreath product W=ZS$_{n}$.TEX> n/.
