Image registration is the process for finding the correct geometrical transformation that brings one image in precise spatial correspondence with another image. There are limitations on the visualization of simple overlay between two different modality images because two different modality images have different anatomical information, resolution, and viewpoint. In this paper, various image registration methods and their applications are introduced. With the recent advance of medical imaging device, image registration is used actively in diagnosis support, treatment planning, surgery guidance and monitoring the disease progression.

Recently, with the development of autonomous vehicle technology, the importance of precise road maps is increasing. A precise road map is a digital map with lane information, regulations, safety information, and various road facilities. Conventional precise road maps have been tested and developed based on the mobile mapping system (MMS). But they have not been activated due to high introduction costs. However, in the case of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the application field is continuously increasing. This study tries to extract information through classification of high-resolution UAV images for autonomous driving. Autonomous vehicle test roads were selected as study sites, and high-resolution orthoimages were produced using UAVs. In addition, the utilization of high-resolution orthoimages has been proposed by effectively extracting data for precise road map construction, such as road lines, guards, and machines through image classification. If additional experimentation and verification are performed, the field of UAV image use will be expanded, providing the data to automobile manufacturers and related public and private organizations, and venture companies will contribute to the development of domestic autonomous vehicle technology.
This paper suggests a method of automatic clustering to search of relevant digital photos using geo-coded information. The provided scheme labels photo images with their corresponding global positioning system coordinates and date/time at the moment of capture, and the labels are used as clustering metadata of the images when they are in the use of retrieval. Experimental results show that geo-location information can improve the accuracy of image retrieval, and the information embedded within the images are effective and precise on the image clustering.
Precision manufacturing technology is rapidly developing due to the extreme miniaturization of semiconductor processes to comply with Moore's Law. Accurate and precise alignment, which is one of the key elements of the semiconductor pre-process and post-process, is very important in the semiconductor process. The center detection of wafer align marks plays a key role in improving yield by reducing defects and research on accurate detection methods for this is necessary. Methods for accurate alignment using traditional image sensors can cause problems due to changes in image brightness and noise. To solve this problem, engineers must go directly into the line and perform maintenance work. This paper emphasizes that the development of AI technology can provide innovative solutions in the semiconductor process as high-resolution image and image processing technology also develops. This study proposes a new wafer center detection method through variable thresholding. And this study introduces a method for detecting the center that is less sensitive to the brightness of LEDs by utilizing a high-performance object detection model such as YOLOv8 without relying on existing algorithms. Through this, we aim to enable precise wafer focus detection using artificial intelligence.
We have developed mathematically precise image-processing algorithms for extracting rectilinear images from fisheye images as well as digital pan/tilt/zoom technology. Using this technology, vertical lines always appear as vertical lines in the panned and/or tilted images. Furthermore, polygonal panoramic images composed of multiple rectilinear images have been obtained using the developed digital pan/tilt technology.
In the 21th century, the age of image, people express and are evaluated with their images. Image making, as behavior of creating image, is rapidly spreading in the society. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate the precise concepts of image making, and the meaning of personal image and fashion styling in image making. Based on previous studies in clothing for a theoretical examination of the concepts of image making, and the meaning of personal image and fashion styling in image making, we have analyzed and studied the concepts of image making generally accepted in the society. The results of this study are as follows. First, personal image making aims at the establishment of one's own identity through the ideal image construction. Second, the establishment of one's own identity through building up his ideal image is completed through fashion styling. Third. image making increases one's personal values and competitive power to implement its ultimate goals. In this study, we have proved that image making makes people establish their own identity by building up their ideal images through fashion styling.

These days, the application range of digital photogrammetry is being extended actively, so the great variety of research is being progressed about improvement of measurement accuracy. This method can acquisite a high analysis accuracy and can acquisite easily image. But, So this method require a much processing time and effort by increasing a data amount, as the automation of processing must be completed for efficiency improvement of processing. In this study, the automation of image processing stage is established for multi-image aquisition and analysis about a radio telescope. Also, the precise measurement and the accuracy on object were intended to be improved. As a result of this study, the accuracy on the object which demands precise measurement was enhanced from multi image analysis, and also the assembly accuracy of the object could be checked by precise measurement and curve fitting.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is planning to launch CAS-500 (Compact Advanced Satellite 500) 1 and 2 in 2019 and 2020. Satellite image information collected through CAS-500 can be used in various fields such as global environmental monitoring, topographic map production, analysis for disaster prevention. In order to utilize in various fields like this, it is important to get the location accuracy of the satellite image. In order to establish the precise geometry of the satellite image, it is necessary to establish a precise sensor model using the GCP (Ground Control Point). In order to utilize various fields, step - by - step automation for orthoimage construction is required. To do this, a database of satellite image GCP chip should be structured systematically. Therefore, in this study, we will analyze various techniques for automatic GCP extraction for precise geometry of satellite images.
In this paper, we analyze the feasibility of establishing a precise sensor model for high-resolution satellite imagery using unified control points. For this purpose, we integrated unified control points and the aerial orthoimages from the national land information map (http://map.ngii.go.kr/ms/map/NlipMap.do) operated by the National Geographic Information Institute (NGII). Then, we collected the image coordinates corresponding to the unified control point's location in the satellite image. The unified control points were used as observation data for establishing a precise sensor model. For the experiment, we compared the results of precise sensor modeling using GNSS survey data and those using unified control points. Our experimental results showed that it is possible to establish a precise sensor model with around 2 m accuracy when using unified control points.
In this thesis, a new superimposition scheme using a computer vision system was proposed with 7 pairs of skull and ante-mortem photographs, which were already identified through other tests and DNA fingerprints at the Korea National Institute of Scientific Investigation. At this computer vision system, an unidentified skull was caught by video-camcoder with the MPEG and a ante-mortem photograph was scanned by scanner. These two images were processed and superimposed using pixel processing. Recognition of the individual identification by anatomical references was performed on the two superimposed images. These results were as followings. 1. For the enhancement of skull and ante-mortem photographs, various image processing schemes, such as SMOOTH, SHARPEN, EMBOSS, MOSAIC, ENGRAVE, INVERT, NEON and COLOR TO MONO, were applied using 3*5 window processing. As an image processing result of these methods, the optimal techniques were NEON, INVERT and ENGRAVE for the edge detection of skull and ante-mortem photograph. 2. Using various superimposition image processing techniques (SRCOR, SRCAND, SRCINVERT, SRCERASE, DSTINVERT, MERGEPAINT) were compared for the enhancement of image recognition. 3. By means of the video camera, the skull image was inputed directly to a computer system : superimposing it on the ante-mortem photograph made the identification more precise and time-saving. As mentioned above, this image processing techniques for the superimposition of skull and ante-mortem photographs simply used the previous approach, In other wrods, taking skull photographs and developing it to the same size as the ante-mortem photographs. This system using various image processing techniques on computer screen, a more precise and time-saving superimposition technique could be able to be applied in the area of individual identification in forensic practice.
