과학 체험 프로그램 운영이 예비교사의 과학문화소양 및 핵심역량 성장에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Science Activity Program Operation on Science Culture Literacy and Core Competence Growth for Pre-Service Teacher)

  • 이 연구에서는 과학 체험 프로그램의 운영이 예비교사의 과학적 소양에 미치는 영향을 과학문화소양과 핵심역량을 중심으로 알아보았다. K대학교 255명의 예비교사가 참여하였으며, 과학문화소양은 단일집단 사전-사후검사 설계로 대응표본 t-검정을 통해 프로그램의 효과를 알아보았다. 핵심역량 성장 인식은 사후검사만 실시하였으며, ANOVA로 역량별 성장 인식의 차이를 비교하였다. 연구 결과, 과학 문화소양에서 예비교사의 과학문화소양은 사전검사에 비해 사후검사 평균이 더 높았으며, 이 차이는 통계적으로 유의미하였다(p<.05). 핵심역량의 성장 인식 분석 결과, 과학적 의사소통 능력에서 70.6%의 예비교사가 성장을 보고하였으며, LSD로 사후검증 결과 다른 핵심역량에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 빈도를 보였다(p<.05). 이를 통해 예비교사의 과학적 소양 함양을 위한 방안으로 과학 체험 프로그램의 교육적 가치를 확인할 수 있었다.

예비 초등 교사들의 분류 활동에서 나타난 분류 기준의 유형과 분류 전략의 특징 (Type of Classification Criterion and Characteristic of Classification Strategy That Appear in Pre-Service Elementary Teachers' Classification Activity)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the type of classification criterion and the characteristic of classification strategy that appear in pre-service elementary teachers' classification activity. The 4 tasks were developed for classification activity; button as a real things that attribute is prominent, shell as a real things that attribute is less prominent, snow flake as a picture cards that attribute is prominent, and galaxy as a picture cards that attribute is less prominent. The 5 college students who major in elementary education were selected. Data were collected by interview with participants, participants' classification recording paper, investigator's observation of participants' action observation, and videotaped that record participants' subject classification process. Result proved in this study is as following. First, pre-service elementary teachers used 4 qualitative classification criterion of feature, random field, image and secondary property, and used 2 dimension classification criterion of space and quantity. They used single quality classification criterion or combining dimension classification criterion in classification activity. Second, pre-service elementary teachers have classification strategy that apply each various classification criterion, and also classification strategy are different according to subject, but discussed that "anchor" and "priming effect" are important for effective classification. Result of this study is expected to contribute classification research and classification teaching program development.

The Effect of 24-week Sensory Integration Activity Training on fitness of Children with Intellectual disability

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of 24-week sensory integration activity training on fitness of children with intellectual disability. Research design, data, and methodology: The subjects were 10 children with intellectual disability, 60 min training of sensory integration activity for 24 weeks. Obesity, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and muscle endurance were measured pre and post training. Frist, characteristics of subjects were measured with age, height, weight, IQ and SQ. Second, the subjects then performed sensory integration activity training for 24 weeks. Last, weight, strength, endurance, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility were measured. Data were calculated for average and standard deviation by SPSS 25.0 statistic program, and dependent sample t-test was processed to analyze the change between pre and post training. All statistical significance level was set to 0.5. Results: The result was shown that weight, strength and endurance changes between pre and post were significant. However, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility changes between pre and post were not significant. Conclusions: The lack of training frequency of 60 minute per week were acknowledged per week from this result. In future research, increased intensity and frequency are need for an in-depth and meaningful study and the measured data can be used basic information for the study.

여성의 직조노동과 지위의 변화 (A Study on the Change in the Weaving Labor and the status of Women)

  • This article was carried out to clarify the change in the weaving labor and the status of women from pre-industrial society to industrial society. For the purpose, this study made use of literature review. It was founded that women in pre-industrial society had weaved not only for private use but also for payment taxes and household economy. In this sense the women in pre-industrial society had participated in productive work like the ones of industrial society who participate in labor force market. With this economic activity women had occupied the status not being evaluated low. The major conclusion was as follows. The women in pre-industrial society had maintained their own economic activity with contributed to nation and household economy, but the women in industrial society were deprived of this activity and their status was depreciated.

견직물의 양파외피 염색 시 오배자의 매염 효과 (Gallnut Mordanting on Silk Fabric Dyed with Onion Shell)

  • This study examines the mordanting effect and multi functional properties of silk fabrics dyed with onion shell extracts that were mordanted with gallnut. The contents of this study are as follows. First, the optimum dyeing conditions were investigated by measuring the K/S value that depended the on dyeing conditions when silk fabrics were dyed with onion shell extracts. Second, the color, brightness, and chroma differences that appear after mordanting with gallnut were investigated by measuring the K/S and Munsell value. Third, the color fastness and antimicrobial activity were measured. When silk fabrics were dyed with onion shell extracts, the optimum dyeing conditions were a dyeing temperature of $70^{\circ}C$, a dyeing concentration of 160%, and a dyeing of time 30min. After mordanting with gallnut extracts, the K/S value increased remarkably and was larger in pre-mordanting than post-mordanting. The H value displayed yellow-red in all cases of pre and post mordanting. However, the H value was more reddish in the order of non-mordanting

Altered expression of norepinephrine transporter and norepinephrine in human placenta cause pre-eclampsia through regulated trophoblast invasion

  • Objective: We investigated the norepinephrine transporter (NET) expression in normal and pre-eclamptic placentas and analyzed the invasion activity of trophoblastic cells based on norepinephrine (NE)-NET regulation. Methods: NET and NE expression levels were examined by western blot and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. Trophoblast invasion activity, depending on NE-NET regulation, was determined by NET-small interfering RNA (siRNA) and NET transfection into the human extravillous trophoblast cells with or without NE treatment and invasion rates were analyzed by zymography and an invasion assay. Results: NET mRNA was expressed at a low level in pre-eclamptic placentas compared with normal placentas and NE concentration in maternal plasma increased significantly in pre-eclamptic women compared to normal pregnant women (p<0.05). NET gene upregulation and NE treatment stimulated trophoblast cell invasion up to 2.5-fold (p<0.05) by stimulating matrix metalloproteinase-9 activity via the phosphoinositol-3-kinase/AKT signaling pathway, whereas NET-siRNA with NE treatment reduced invasion rates. Conclusion: NET expression is reduced by inadequate regulation of NE levels during placental development. This suggests that a complementary balance between NET and NE regulates trophoblast cell invasion activities during placental development.

Biological Activities and Stability of a Standardized Pentacyclic Triterpene Enriched Centella asiatica Extract

  • Pentacyclic triterpenes, mainly, asiatic acid, madecassic acid, asiaticoside, and madecassoside are the active constituents of Centella asiatica. A pentacyclic triterpene enriched C. asiatica extract (PRE) was prepared and standardized to contain a total pentacyclic triterpenes not less than 65% w/w. This work was focused on determination of antiinflammatory, antioxidant, and tyrosinase inhibitory activities of PRE and its stability. The PRE exhibited a satisfactory nitric oxide inhibitory effect, with an $IC_{50}$ value of $64.6{\mu}g/mL$. In addition, the PRE inhibited tyrosinase enzyme activity with an $IC_{50}$ value of $104.8{\mu}g/mL$. In contrast, the PRE possessed only weak antioxidant activity. The PRE was stable over a period of four months when stored as a dried powder but only in a well-closed container protected from light at $4^{\circ}C$. An aqueous alcoholic solution of the PRE was stable at pH values of 5.8 and 7.0, but was not stable at a pH of 8.2. Preparations of the PRE in an aqueous solution should be performed in acidic or neutral conditions.

The One-to-one Comparison of the Pre-reversal Enhancement Characteristics with the Equatorial Plasma Bubble Occurrence using Multiple Satellite Data

  • Equatorial Plasma Bubble (herafter, EPB) is a common feature in low-latitude F-region during the night time. Since EPB causes significant impacts on the satellite communication and navigation systems, its accurate forecast is highly demanded by the GNSS users. Thus, further understanding of these features and their configuration is a challenging issue in space weather studies. The day-to-day variability of the plasma bubble activity was investigated by analyzing the TIMED/GUVI, ROCSAT-1, DMSP, and CHAMP satellite data. The pre-reversal enhancement (PRE) is known as the most important single parameter for the onset of plasma bubbles but we do not know yet to what extent the day-to-day variability of the bubble activity can be attributed to the PRE. We obtained the magnitude of the PRE from ROCSAT-1 and the occurrence of bubbles in relation to the PRE was investigated by using the coincident observations of EPBs from TIMED/GUVI, DMSP, and CHAMP. By conducting one-to-one comparison of the PRE characteristics with the EPB occurrence we examined the role of the PRE in the onset of EPBs.

예비유아교사의 협동학습에서의 갈등경험 의미 탐색 (A Research on Meaning of Conflict Experience in Cooperative Learning Activity of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사들의 협동학습 과정에서 출현하는 갈등경험과 갈등해결 경험은 어떠한 것이며, 이러한 과정의 의미를 알아봄으로써 협동학습에 대한 이해를 넓히고 바람직한 협동학습이 진행 될 수 있는 기초방안을 마련하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상은 W대학에 재학 중인 85명의 예비유아교사로 저널쓰기, 비형식적 면담을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사는 협동학습에서 구성원 모임, 공정성, 대인관계 갈등을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사는 협동학습과정에서 모임시간의 자율성을 확보하고, 반성적 사고, 동료 간의 정서적 지지, 타인 이해 하기, 함께 하는 시간을 통해 갈등을 해결하는 경험을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사가 경험하는 갈등 경험의 의미는 지각된 책임감의 형성, 타인 배려를 통한 자신의 성장, 호혜적 이타성 경험, 협동에 대한 의미를 이해하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 구성원이 함께 직접 만나 협동학습을 하는 시간의 중요성에 대한 재인식과, 갈등해결을 위하여 교수자는 적절한 시기에 학습자의 공정한 참여와 평가에 대한 피드백을 제공하고, 협동 학습을 지원해 줄 수 있는 물리적 환경을 제공할 때 협동학습이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있다는 시사점을 도출하였다.

비대면 수업 자료 만들기 활동이 초등 예비교사들의 영상 자료 제작에 대한 인식 및 과학 교수 능력에 미치는 효과 (The Perception on Video Material Making and the Effect on Science Teaching Ability of Non-face-to-face Teaching Material Making Activity for Elementary Pre-service Teachers)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 초등 예비교사를 대상으로 비대면 수업 자료 만들기 활동을 실시한 후 영상 자료 제작에 대한 인식과 과학 교수 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이 활동은 초등 예비교사들이 탐구를 수행하고 관련 과학 개념을 이해하고, 교과서를 분석한 후 영상 자료를 제작하는 과정과 동료들이 제작한 영상을 시청하는 과정으로 구성되었고, 8주 동안 89명의 예비교사들에게 실시되었다. 이 활동이 종료된 후 초등 예비교사들에게 영상 자료 제작에 대한 인식과 과학 교수 능력에 미치는 효과를 알아본 후 그 결과를 분석하였다. 비대면 수업 자료 제작과 시청 과정에서 초등 예비교사들은 영상 자료 제작에 대해 교수-학습, 영상 제작, 정서 및 태도 측면에서 긍정적으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 초등 예비교사들은 이 활동을 통해 과학 교수 역량이 향상되었고, 이 활동에 대해 매우 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학습자의 자기 결정권 배제, 다양한 의사소통 통로 부족, 자료내용의 오류 등 아쉬운 점도 언급하였다. 이러한 문제점을 해결한다면 비대면 수업도 하나의 좋은 수업 형태가 될 수 있음을 시사한다.
