  • The purpose of this study is to examine how Home Management era has contributed to social development in this country. For this purpose several famous research Hournals related Home Management era -Korean Journal of Home Economics(1980-1999) Journal of Korean Home Management(1983-1999) Journal of Child Development (1990-1999) Journal of Rarmily Resource Management (1996-1999) Jornal of Family Relations(1996-1999) -were analysed. On this study the evaluating criteria of the research were focused to 1) The outcome of the research can provide proper information and help for general home and families\ulcorner 2) The outcome of the research can provide the proper and helpful information for government policy of family related\ulcorner Among 2820 papers only 10% of them(partially child development era 49 family related era 68 family resource management 64 consumer related 46 and housing related 53 were selected. Conclusionally we have to have more attention to the research topics for policy oriente and helpful for welfare policy for family. For that we need to have more integrated perspectivwe for Home Management era.

  • Short-lived pseudonym certificates as vehicle identities could satisfy both security and privacy requirements. However, to remove revoked certificates especially in vehicle communications, pseudonym certificate revocation list (CRL) should be distributed resource-efficiently from a practical deployment point of view and in a timely manner. In this paper, we propose a novel CRL distribution scheme capable of CRL multicast to only activated vehicles registered to the CRL multicast group using the group communication system enabler, namely, the GCSE which is being standardized. The scheme is resource efficient by using CRL distribution paths instead of paging processes to find out multicast vehicle(s) within a certain region. The analyzed results show that the proposed scheme outperforms in terms of paging cost, packets transmission cost, and the processing cost at the respective entities compared to the existing four schemes in the literature.

  • For the past years, there had been some environmental cooperation among East Asian countries to reduce air pollution emissions from China. However, the progress of cooperation has been under developed because of lacking financial support, poor design of planning, and weak economic incentives for the industries. In this paper, some practical approaches have been suggested. First, electric trade to make Asian Grid among countries will be good alternatives for the fossil fuel, such as coal, for China. Secondly, natural gas pipeline from West China to Siberian pipeline would change the whole energy mix in this area around 2010, Therefore, it is very promising area for the energy industries to involve in gas project and get rid of many institutional barriers from China. Lastly, environmental industry is growing fast in East Asian. In China, waste treatment and management, air pollution control, and water quality management are some promising areas for the future. Hence it is desirable for Korea, Japan and China to make a eco-fund or company to boost up environmental technology as well as environmental market size.

  • We investigate a practical method of calculating the impact of multiple domestic energy price change on the final demand, production, the export and import change, the change in the balance of payment of Korean economy. By combining an existing computable general equilibrium (CGE) model with the traditional input-output analysis with two additional assumptions on the price behavior, we provide a cost-effective method of analyzing the impact of multiple energy price changes on the domestic economy. The energy price shock we used in this paper is 0.127% increase weighted by the sectoral productions. The total impacts on price level and GDP are 1.258% and -0.940%, respectively. The impact on the total output (GDP and intermediate goods) is about -1.580%.

  • By the newly emerging network access technology, we face the new heterogeneous network environment. Focusing on the co-existence of multiple access network technology and the complex service needs of users, the wireless service operators should present the stable service quality for every user. For this, the service operators should build the new operation framework which combine the pre-established network and newly adopted one. Our problem is finding the optimal heterogeneous network operation framework. We suggest market-based marginal cost function for evaluating the relative value of resource of each network and develop the whole new heterogeneous network operation framework. To test the applicability of developed operation framework, we build large-scale JAVA simulator. By this development, we can easily test the new network environment in practical engineering field.

  • This study explores interpretations of grandmothers' experiences rearing their grandchildren. For this study, 13 participants provided in-depth interview data, which was analyzed according to Spradely's ethnographic method. Based on the pattern of interpretations, nine concepts were classified into three categories: (i) repentance (compulsive decisions, passivity of the childrearing activity, non-compensation); (ii) sorrow (restrictions on everyday life, renunciation of occupational careers, worsened health); and (iii) satisfaction (decreased isolation in old age, proof of existence for their children, intimacy development with their grandchild). The results of this study show that grandmothers have a higher appreciation for the benefits of relational compensation than for personal cost. Some practical implications are suggested to improve family welfare.

  • This study examines managerial aspects of the institutional household(IH) whose importances become crucial in modern society. To analyze idiosyncratic managerial characteristics of the IH, the study delves into three aspects of IH in comparison with other organizations such as family, public organizations, for-profit organizations. The comparison is done in the reference of $\circled1$ conceptual elements, $\circled2$ general managerial settings, and $\circled3$ practical managerial processes including planning, organizational, personnel and human resources development, and finacial management. The analysis shows us that the IH possesses both common and unique characteristics and needs to develop its generic managerial theories.

  • This study analyzes the transition of the Family-Friendly Index from 2007 to 2012. This index was developed using a questionnaire survey that is distributed to listed companies and public institutions every year by the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family(MOGEF) and the Family-Friendly Support Center. The Family-Friendly Index contains an introduction to and the practical use of family-friendly regulations and programs, such as flexible working systems, parental leave, family leave, EAP, and family-friendly culture. The number of companies involved in the Family-Friendly Index is increasing every year, and has increased from 41.7 in 2007 to 58.9 in 2012. In particular, family-friendly companies testimonialized by the MOGEF are using more family-friendly programs than other company.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of preparation for old age on the life satisfaction, and the mediating effect of productive activities on the relationship between preparation for old and life satisfaction among the old age in Korea. The subject for this study is 226 older adults who participated in the work fare program of community welfare centers. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN(ver.18.0) program, and frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, multiple regression, and Sobel test were utilized. The result revealed that productive activities has a partial mediating effect between preparation for old Age and life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
