Purpose : To provide basic data for establishing the policy of safe handling of cytotoxic drugs and for building training materials and clinical guidelines for nurses handling cytotoxic drugs. Methods: 255 nurses in Seoul and 257 nurses in D metropolitan area participated in the study. Questionnaires were based on the safe handling guideline for cytotoxic drugs issued by OSHA and ONA. Results: Nurses in Seoul scored higher in the cognition for safe handling guidelines of cytotoxic drugs in preparation, administration. as well as total score compared with nurses in D metropolitan area. The practical score also showed higher in nurses in Seoul in administration, disposal and total score. But both groups showed low level of practical score. The answers why they could not follow the guideline for cytotoxic drugs were "don't have", "busy", and "don't know", etc Conclusion: Handling of the cytotoxic drug is very common and important. The study findings suggest that hospitals especially in D metropolitan area should educate the nurses and supply equipments for safe handling of cytotoxic drugs. Thus, repetitive and continual education of all nurses including experts is needed. In addition, it is necessary to supply enough protective equipment for preventing exposure to the cytotoxic drugs.

Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging is widely used in many areas of cardiovascular disease assessment. This is a practical, standard CMR protocol for beginners that is designed to be easy to follow and implement. This protocol guideline is based on previously reported CMR guidelines and includes sequence terminology used by vendors, essential MR physics, imaging planes, field strength considerations, MRI-conditional devices, drugs for stress tests, various CMR modules, and disease/symptom-based protocols based on a survey of cardiologists and various appropriate-use criteria. It will be of considerable help in planning and implementing tests. In addressing CMR usage and creating this protocol guideline, we particularly tried to include useful tips to overcome various practical issues and improve CMR imaging. We hope that this document will continue to standardize and simplify a patient-based approach to clinical CMR and contribute to the promotion of public health.

There are a great number of difficulties without Interface Guideline, even though the utility of the web in the educational field has been increased. In spite of having a guideline there still remains problems, when the researcher develops a practical web design, because of uniformity and universality. The purpose of this research will give a good model and a guideline, developing a way of web-site assessment through psychological language. First, the researcher has to induce psychological language and recognize the relevance of the principle of device system. Second, they should build an assessment model based on an established system of classification. As a result, they recognized that an assessment model based on the system of psychological language can help in working out authentic design problems. The designer faces many difficulties when using Interface Guideline for the sake of the existing software developer because of specific terminology. On the contrary, these days, the guideline of psychological language system provides the designer with easy comprehension of language and also able to perceive problems in advance. In addition, the researcher can realize that it can be used, as a good source and data.

One of the most secure ways of maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of electronic information is to use electronic signatures. So, in this paper, we developed guideline on electronic signatures for EMR(electronic medical record) based on the Medical Law and the Electronic Signature Act. This guideline is intended to introduce EMR easily in the medical field and to facilitate the promotion of EMR. We developed it through consulting from the advisory committee that was made up of experts in the fields of medical record, EMR system and electronic signatures. The contents of the guideline consist of subject and time stamp of electronic signatures, validity of a certificate, management of electronic signatures and custody and management of EMR. In the future, we will develop practical cases and promote educations and publicities of them to use in the medical institutes and EMR system related industries.

Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) has been provided not only manual of managing infectious patient but also functional requirement of space in emergency department(ED) by distributing "Guideline for infection control in emergency department(GICED)" in 2009. To understand how much the guideline enforces its functional requirement on ED planning practice, it is compared to Emergency Medical Service Act(EMSA) a basic standard for ED planning. As a result, it is clear that those have different focal point in functional program and don't share infection control issue. By reviewing target hospitals' EDs opened around 2009, all ED have satisfied with the EMSA requirement but guideline. Those are selectively adapted infection control related spaces CDC guideline suggested regardless of open year so that target EDs are not to be influenced by the guideline. This research can support as a reference research when the EMSA are going to be reinforced by infection contol issue.

Computer simulation is widely known as a very powerful and practical tool to understand behaviors of considered systems and evaluate design alternatives. However, to use simulation technologies, one should acquire simulation languages, statistics, etc. Also, lots of resources such as time and money are necessary to develop models and analyze statistical data. These obstacles prevent one from adopting simulation tools easily. This paper presents practical guidelines for successful application of simulation. Firstly, we propose how to acquire simulation tools to help one who is going to use simulation techniques. Next guidelines are for introducing simulation software set including simulation and support softwares. Lastly, guidelines for simulation project management are presented.

With the advent of PyScript, there are more and more topics in practice. However, the official guideline has not provided a detailed description. This paper investigates the practical application about PyScript. The research results show that the current functions in PyScript cannot be well handled in web pages, and even cannot use the advantage model of Python, which is not suitable for practical application in the short term. However, it may be widely used in web development in the future since writing functions through Wasm can improve the efficiency of program execution.

The study aims at providing a practical, rather then conceptual, guideline for transferring electronic records for the purpose of applicable to the archives in Korea. To achieve this purpose the study analyzed ISO, AHDS, and CCSDS transfer guidelines, examined requirements for transferring records in one Korean government agency as a testbed, and finally developed a proposed guideline for e-records transfer that is suitable for Korea settings. The study is deemed significant in that the proposed guideline is derived from a case study and analysis of major transfer guidelines available.

This paper suggests an example guideline of a safety zone layout for the domestic LNG Truck-To-Ship (TTS) bunkering. The safety zone is one of the controlled area in LNG bunkering and its layout is required as a fundamental safety barrier. While the international standard provides a layout methodology of the safety zone, its detail application is not user-friendly and only possible with a level of the process engineering. In the domestic case, the enforcement regulations are applied for LNG bunkering but the safety zone is not properly defined for TTS operation. Considerations are made for the intuitive approach of the safety zone layout and an example guideline is suggested for application in the domestic TTS bunkering. A technical background of the guideline is described and its applicability is demonstrated with regard to the characteristics of TTS bunkering. The findings of the study are summarized in association with a practical layout of the safety zone, contributing to the safety culture in the domestic LNG bunkering.

FIB is introduced as the sole guideline for the design purpose that results in a practical relationship for the torsional capacity of concrete beams strengthened with carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP). This study applies first-order reliability method to assess the reliability evaluation of the torsional capacity of CFRP-strengthened beams on the basis of FIB guidelines. In terms of steel reinforcement losses, this study applies a corrosion model to investigate the ceaseless deterioration of the existing structure. Hence, the average of reliability indices varies between 2.68 and 2.80, indicating the reliability viewpoint of the design methodologies. The average values are somehow low compared to the target values of reliability (3.0 or 3.5) applied in the calibration stage of the FIB guideline. In this way, the partial safety factors may change in the forthcoming guideline revisions. For this aim, the reliability of strengthening ratio was applied to assess the variation in the average value of the reliability index with different partial safety factors. The performance of parametric study for the factor proved that minimum values of 1.60 and 2.32 are required for target values of reliability (3.0 and 3.5), respectively.
