Image Improvement and Trust Building of Traditional Medical Service Considered Emotional Attachment (정서적 애착을 고려한 전통 의료서비스의 이미지개선 및 신뢰구축)

  • Purpose: This study intends to offer strategic implications that can be used in Korean medicine hospitals through analysis of causal relationship among factors focusing on image improvement and trust building. Methods: Differential model was introduced to test causal relationship. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling. Results: Medical service has effects on image, trust, and CS. CS has an effect on trustworthiness, and trustworthiness has positive effect on loyalty intention and has negative effect on switching intention. Emotional attachment has moderating functions between trust and loyalty intention and between trust and switching intention. Conclusion: This study offers practical implications to relevant managers, at the same time it has limitations that omits relevant study of inducing factor for emotional attachment.

Effect of Treatment Setting of the Medical Services on the Patient Participation : Focusing on Moderating Effect of Negative Emotion (진료환경이 환자참여에 미치는 영향: 부정적 감정의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The main purposes of this study is to examine the effect of treatment setting on patient participation, and the moderating effect of negative emotion between treatment setting and patient participation. For the purposes of this study's goals, the 320 samples for this empirical study were collected from the general hospital and medical clinic outpatients in C and carried out hierarchial regression by SPSS 19.0. The results of this study are as follows. There is positive effect of cleanness of the treatment setting on behavior factor in patient participation. The higher aging of patient have influences on emotional factor in patient participation. There are positive effects of the third person in treatment settings on emotional and informational factors in patient participation. There is negative effect of negative emotion on emotional and informational factors in patient participation. There are negative effects of time pressure in treatment settings on emotional and informational factors in Patient Participation. On interaction effect, there are positive effects of cleanness in treatment setting and negative emotion on emotional and informational factors in patient participation. Implications for theoretical and practical patient participation are discussed.

The Effects of Hotel Employees' Emotional Intelligence and Job Engagement on Work Performance (호텔종사원의 감성지능과 직무열의가 업무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • This study presents to demonstrate the relationships among emotional intelligence, job engagement, and work performance as perceived by hotel employees. For conducting analysis in this study, 380 copies of the questionnaire were distributed to the employees in deluxe hotels in Seoul and 353 copies was used for statistical analysing by using SPSS 18.0. Current stud y found that the factors of hotel employees' emotional intelligence (other's emotion, control of emotion, self-emotion, and use of emotion) have a critical effect on the concentration job engagement. In addition, the elements of job engagement (concentration and job engagement) have a significantly effect on work performance. Based on these results, the study established that hotel employees' emotional intelligence and job engagement were important elements as key factors affecting the continuous work performance of the hotel industry. Through these study results, this study provides practical implications that help hotel employees to better understand their emotional factors are critical predictor of job engagement and it will be useful information for utilizing human resources and improve their work performance.

A Study on Factors Affecting Intention to Continuous Use of O2O Service : Focused on Cinema Ticketing Systems (O2O서비스의 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 영화관 티켓 발권서비스를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to investigate factors affecting the intention of continuous use of O2O service by referring new media adoption theory and value-based acceptance model for movie ticketing services. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted for users of tickets ticketing service of the cinema online (including mobile) within the last 6 months. A total of 500 copies was collected and 404 copies were analyzed excluding 96 copies because of errors. As a result of the analysis, the ease of use and service ubiquity has a positive effect on perceived functional value and perceived emotional value, and usability has a positive effect on perceived functional value. Compatibility and trialability has a positive effect on both perceived functional value and emotional value. Previous experience has a positive effect on both perceived functional value and perceived emotional value, and inertia has negative effect on perceived functional value. Finally, the perceived emotional value has a positive effect on the intention to continuous use, but perceived functional value appeared to have no significant effect. This study shows a theoretical implication for new technology-based services such O2O. It was suggested to establish a practical marketing strategy and help to activate the O2O service field.

A Study on the Effect of Digital Literacy Competency on Learning Flow Earning Satisfaction and Learning Outcomes of College Students Majoring in Aviation Service (항공서비스전공 대학생의 디지털 리터러시 역량이 학습몰입, 학습만족, 학습성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, the acquisition and production of information using digital tools and the creation of new knowledge are emphasized as important educational elements. Therefore, in this study, the effect of learning achievement according to the digital literacy level of college students was analyzed. For the analysis, a questionnaire is conducted with college students majoring in aviation services attending universities in Seoul Capital Area and Chungcheong area. To verify the hypothesis of the study, demographic characteristics are identified based on the questionnaire, reliability and validity of measurement items are verified, and structural equation model analysis is performed to verify the hypothesis. The analysis results are as follows. First, among the sub-factors of digital literacy competency of college students majoring in aviation service, 'technology use' is found to have a positive effect on 'cognitive flow' and 'emotional flow' of learning flow except 'behavioral flow'. Second, among the sub-factors of digital literacy competency, 'self-learning' is found to have a positive effect on 'cognitive flow', 'emotional flow', and 'behavioral flow' in learning flow. Third, the sub-factors of learning flow, 'cognitive flow', 'emotional flow', and 'behavioral flow' have a positive effect on 'learning satisfaction'. Fourth, 'learning satisfaction' is found to have a positive effect on 'learning outcomes'. Based on the research results, practical support measures and strategies for educational success are presented.

Impacts of Emotional Capacity of Managers on Transformational Leadership Behavior in Enterprises: A Case Study in Vietnam

  • Transformational leadership styles are seen as key to inspiring employees to embrace change, as well as to build a sense of responsibility and autonomy at work. This study aims to examine the impact of managers' emotional capacity on transformational leadership behavior in enterprises in Vietnam. Using quantitative research methodology, through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and linear structure model (SEM), with survey data of 632 samples who are managers of different levels in the enterprise. Research results show that the emotional capacity of managers has both a direct and indirect impact on transformational leadership behavior through the intermediary factors of knowledge sharing at work and corporate social responsibility for employees. Based on that, the study proposes a number of recommendations to promote transformational leadership behavior in enterprises. The findings of this study have demonstrated the importance and impact of managers' emotional capabilities across multiple dimensions of transformational leadership behavior. These are both theoretical and practical contributions that provide managers with greater insight into their emotional capabilities and the need for transformational leadership behaviors. At the same time, the results of this study will also be an important foundation for further research.

College Entrance Exam Educational Aspirations and Functional strategies of the Korean Family (한국가족의 교육열과 대학입시 : 가족적 대책 수립을 위한 실천방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the current problems of family in adolescents' college entrance examination and to propose the practical alternatives about effective overcoming strategies. To study these objectives two kinds of sample and questionnaire were selected and the data were obtained through 360 parent-child pairs and 802 college preparatory institute students living in Seoul Taejon and kwangju. The major findings were as follow: 1. Educational achievements were affected by adolescents' personal traits as achievement need self-regulation emotional stability and self-concept but parents ' over-aspirations were negative agent for stress coping. 2. Parent-adolescent intimate and self-regulated relationships were positive factors for achievement and educational self-concept. Also adolecsents' educational aspirations were more significantly affected by parents' emotional supports. 3. Family stress were mediated by parent-child conflict so satisfied parent-child relationships can protect serious stressors as examination problems. Especially father-related factors were importantly revealed. In conclusion adolescent family and society must develop coping methods individually and cooperatively through family life education systematic policy and educational reformation.

  • In this research, experiments were performed to focus on haptical factors among the emotional way of expression in design, and, find out what factors of preference influenced by haptic elements as surface material, grip senses and shape that considering clues when consumer has purchase intention. The questionnaire survey of beverage bottles in experiment extract to haptic elements were estimated in various surface of bottles and consumer preference through practical touch by managed objects themselves. The experimental groups for this survey, one is using sight and sense of touch both, the other groups are use sense of touch only without sense of sight. Therefore, to find out effective factors for design and functional matter as the kind of treating surface and properties derived from comparing two experimental groups have recognition in level of priority for each element related with haptical design sources. Finally, considering practical use schema with emotional approach based on haptical property to adopting design process.

  • Prior research on the user experience assumes that when users acquire good experience through the usage of a certain device or system, the user satisfaction increases, and the user satisfaction can forecast the user loyalty effectively. However, theoretical model based on the user satisfaction does not reflect users' emotional or relationship-based experience factors which are fostered through users' long-term interaction with a device or system. Therefore, this research developed the new theoretical model based on the concept of emotional attachment and integrated the model to the existing user satisfaction model to overcome theoretical and practical limitations of the user satisfaction concept. Also, this integrated model was empirically evaluated to check its validity by surveying users of 4 kinds of electronic products.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship among self-efficacy, emotional labor, organizational commitment and job satisfaction of medical tourism employees. This survey was conducted from March 2 to March 31, 2018 and targeting medical tourism employees who work at hospitals, travel agencies, medical tourism agencies and consulting firms in Seoul. 282 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 18.0. The result of this study is as follows. First, self-efficacy positively influenced on emotional labor and organizational commitment. Second, self-efficacy positively influenced on all job satisfaction factors as like job itself satisfaction, salary/promotion satisfaction and relationship satisfaction. Third, deep acting factor of emotional labor positively influenced on job itself satisfaction and relationship satisfaction. Forth, job itself satisfaction and relationship satisfaction positively influenced on organizational commitment. These research findings can be summarized as follows. Medical tourism employees of hospitals, travel agencies, medical tourism agencies and consulting firms have to be supported greatly to improve their own job competency and job qualifications. Second, medical tourism organizations try to understand the real emotion of medical tourism employees when they are dealing with medical tourists. Third, medical tourism employees have to be recognized their job performance and provided suitable incentives for the results. The findings of this study provide practical implications about strategical human resource management of medical tourism agencies. Moreover, it will be useful for hospitals and government officials to establish a management framework in medical tourism industry.
