까치에 의한 전력설비 피해방지 대책 (Protecting of Electrical Equipment Faults Caused by Magpie)

  • The power distribution system is 22.9 kV-y neutral point multi-ground one in our country. So, if conducting materials contacted, to the power line electrical equipment faults or stoppage of electrical power supply happened in the line. contacts are caused by magpie or its nest materials, especially, electrical power incidents by magpie from February to May, season layed egg, is high as 30% as. It is important to electrical power supplier to protect electrical power equipment caused by magpie. From now, KEPCO have tried to protect electrical power equipment faults caused by magpie using several methods, but have not acquired good results and continued to withdraw the nest. Recently, nature environment protection expand to around country and KEPCO also changed the nest withdrawal method to new pre-protection method coexisted with magpie, "Environmental Affinitive Pre-protection Counterplan". Therefore, we planned environmental affinitive pre-protection equipment, set test line. Also, after analyzed its effects during 1 year, we satisfied with results, and then expanded to other test lines and regions.

  • 345kV youngheung tansmission line which has been constructed in the western sea is the first and the largest marine project in the world crossing the youngheung island and the sihwa bay. It helps the stabilization of power supply greatly to cope with the rapid growth of the electric power consumption in the metropolitan areas and Gyeonggi province. Haying constructed the project successfully with the purely domestic-developed technologies, KEPCO is able to not only accumulate more advanced technologies of the marine project but also establish a bridgehead toward overseas market. It is very meaningful that we completed project successfully in spite of many difficulties including the uncertainty of the first project in the sea and strong objections from the environment groups and local residents. In this paper I will briefly introduce the project, newly developed technologies and materials.

  • The materials for transmission line construction were transported by road which opened in mountainous areas until the mid 1990s, However, from the mid 1990s, as social interest in the environment standard increases, a cable way and helicopter transport methods of construction have been applied to minimize damage to the environment and to build an environmental friendly system. The current cable way method is a single cable way system which has a lower section base to load materials into a carriage and carry them to the tower construction site by use of an engine and a main rope. Then the carriage lowers itself via a slope between the tower construction site and the lower section base. The single cable way system has the demerits of site acquisition for the lower section base, forest felling when installing the wire rope, and it is not applicable to a even topology Also it has to be installed separately at each tower site. Accordingly, to carry materials without forest felling and regardless of slope, the chain cable way system was developed to provide materials for more than two towers consecutively by use of an engine carriage and winch.

송전선로의 유효전력 손실을 각 부하에 배분하는 방법 (An Approach to Allocate Real Power Losses of Transmission Lines to Individual Loads)

  • The paper proposes a simple method to calculate the portion of real power losses of transmission lines allocated to individual loads. The method is implemented by defining loss distribution factors, and analyses the loads shares in the transmission line losses. The paper also performs calculation of sensitivities of the line losses with respect to load changes so as to be easily employed in on-line applications. Effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by computer simulations and it is estimated that the results can be used to compute the cost of one ancillary service under deregulated environment in electric power industries.

  • 인터넷 서비스가 주 정보원으로 작용하는 정보화 시대에 인터넷 망이 닿지 않는 지역에 인터넷 서비스를 제공하기 위해 전력선 통신이 이루어지고 있다. 고속의 통신 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 현재 30MHz까지 할당된 주파수 대역을 80MHz로 확대하려는 연구도 이루어지고 있다. 하지만, 전력선은 통신 선로가 아니므로 통신 신호의 흐름에 따라 방사되는 전파가 발생하고, 그 전파는 기존에 그 대역을 사용하는 무선 통신서비스와 간섭이 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 전력선 통신과 무선 통신 서비스의 상호 간섭을 줄이기 위해 Notch Filter를 제안하였고, TI사의 TMS320C6416T DSP 보드를 이용하여 Emulator를 구현하였다.

베이즈 규칙을 활용한 배전선로 위험도 평가모델 -가공배전분야- (A Risk Evaluation Model of Power Distribution Line Using Bayesian Rule -Overhead Distribution System-)

  • After introducing diagnosis equipment power failure prevention activities for distribution system have become more active. To do facility diagnosis and maintenance work more efficiently we need to evaluate reliability for the system and should determine the priority line with appropriate criteria. Thus, to calculate risk factor for the power distribution line that are composed of many component facilities its historical failure events for the last 5 years are collected and analysed. The failure statics show that more than 60% of various failures are related to environment factors randomly and about 20% of the failures are refer to the aging. As a strategic evaluation system reflecting these environmental influence is needed, a system on the basis of the probabilistic approach related statical variables in terms of failure rate and failure probability of electrical components is proposed. The figures for the evaluation are derived from the field failure DB. With adopting Bayesian rule we can calculate easily about conditional probability query. The proposed evaluation system is demonstrated with model system and the calculated indices representing the properties of the model line are discussed.

  • 사물 인터넷 패러다임에 의해 가능해진 거대한 정보 교환은 즉시 사용 가능한 인프라로 전선을 이용할 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 사전에 설치된 배선 네트워크 인프라를 사용하는 이점은 전력선 통신을 광대역 통신을 위한 경쟁력있는 기술로 만들었다. 따라서 기존의 전력선 통신 채널을 고속 데이터 전송 및 인터넷 서비스를 위한 효과적인 수단으로 사용하는 것에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 전력선 통신 시스템에 영향을 미치는 주요 잡음의 유형 중 하나는 임펄스 잡음이며 본 논문은 임펄스 잡음이 OFDM-QPSK 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 해석하였다. 임펄스 잡음의 성능 분석을 위하여 3가지 환경에서 측정된 데이터를 사용하였다. 분석을 통해 OFDM-QPSK 시스템이 대부분의 임펄스 잡음 사례에서 QPSK 시스템보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 RS 부호화된 OFDM-QPSK 시스템은 3 가지 경우의 임펄스 잡음 환경에서 우수한 BER 성능을 달성할 수 있었다.

  • Because of advanced control technology, Shop floor control system of various kinds of equipment and machinery need a web based remote monitoring to control process efficiently. This paper presents the development of Operation Control System. Operation Control System(OCS) is based on intelligent web monitoring, so that OCS is improved the working condition for the line of heat treatment process and the product's quality. The developed OCS is consisted of Atmega128(MCU) based on embedded system, running the data logging of the line of heat treatment process. Web monitoring system is based on CS8900 ethernet controller and TCP/IP for remote monitoring responsibility between a server and clients and controlling the progress of entire system. The developed OCS is implemented on the line of heat treatment process and shows the improvement of environment condition, product's quality and efficiency of process line.

  • 본 논문에서는 정상적으로 전기가 공급되고 있는 전력선상에서 주파수의 함수로 표현되는 임피던스 측정 방법을 기술한다. 측정방법으로 전력선 통신사용 주파수 $30Khz\~1Mhz$ 대역의 미소 신호를 연속적으로 전력선에 주입하고, 구현한 임피던스 측정 장치는 측정된 전압과 전류의 크기와 위상으로부터 옥내 채널 임피던스를 계산한다. 임피던스 측정에 있어 광대역 주파수 범위의 임피던스 대 주파수 특성을 수행한다. 구현된 임피던스 측정 장치는 옥내에서 발생하는 부하에 의해 변화하는 전력선 임피던스를 측정하여 전력선 통신 환경을 분석할 수 있는 장비이다. 측정된 데이터는 데이터베이스화 하여 전력선 통신 모뎀의 통신성능 평가 및 테스트 환경 기준 설정에 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

배전계통에 연계된 풍력발전기 운영특성 분석 (Power Quality Analysis of Wind Power System interconnected with Distribution Networks)

  • Recently the wind turbine generating systems are increasing world widely. This type of systems will change the nation's energy environment which largely depends on the fossil fuels. It will also bring new problems to the power industry and the customers. The expected problem is the voltage and frequency stability of the power distribution network, when a wind turbine generating system is connected to the line. It becomes necessary and important to evaluate their impact on the electrical network stability. This paper shows the electrical data measurement and analysis of a inductive wind turbine generator affecting the power quality problem of the distribution line.
