These days, citizens have a lot of ways to get access to IT. In the past, they tended to neglect IT that was thought to be difficult. But, currently, everyone can manufacture and get access not only software but also hardware when he has an idea. Arduino is used. Rinnai had recently released new product named Smart Sensor Range. Safe consumer who gave priority to the safety made new trend gave attention to fire prevention and smart sensor range. The ones who buy gas range prefer safety to economic advantage and/or fire power. The safety system does not always prevent fire accident. This study makes design and produces alarm that perceives temperature of pot when boiling. Not only temperature sensor but also alarm sensor was used to make alarm of boiling water and to give convenient living life. The arduino can be used at practical life to make products for various kinds of people. The invention can give convenience to housewives at kitchen, children and many persons making use of gas range. Another function can be added to develop. This arduino can develop a lot of products by using the study and other designs.
This paper focuses on thermal post-buckling analysis of functionally graded beams with temperature dependent physical properties by using the total Lagrangian Timoshenko beam element approximation. Material properties of the beam change in the thickness direction according to a power-law function. The beam is clamped at both ends. In the case of beams with immovable ends, temperature rise causes compressible forces and therefore buckling and post-buckling phenomena occurs. It is known that post-buckling problems are geometrically nonlinear problems. Also, the material properties (Young's modulus, coefficient of thermal expansion, yield stress) are temperature dependent: That is the coefficients of the governing equations are not constant in this study. This situation suggests the physical nonlinearity of the problem. Hence, the considered problem is both geometrically and physically nonlinear. The considered highly non-linear problem is solved considering full geometric non-linearity by using incremental displacement-based finite element method in conjunction with Newton-Raphson iteration method. In this study, the differences between temperature dependent and independent physical properties are investigated for functionally graded beams in detail in post-buckling case. With the effects of material gradient property and thermal load, the relationships between deflections, critical buckling temperature and maximum stresses of the beams are illustrated in detail in post-buckling case.
The objective of this analytical study is to calculate the elasto-plastic stresses of Functionally Graded (FG) hyperbolic disc subjected to uniform temperature. The material properties (elastic modulus, thermal expansion coefficient and yield strength) and the geometry (thickness) of the disc are assumed to vary radially with a power law function, but Poisson's ratio does not vary. FG disc material is assumed to be non-work hardening. Radial and tangential stresses are obtained for various thickness profile, temperature and material properties. The results indicate that thickness profile and volume fractions of constituent materials play very important role on the thermal stresses of the FG hyperbolic discs. It is seen that thermal stresses in a disc with variable thickness are lower than those with constant thickness at the same temperature. As a result of this, variations in the thickness profile increase the operation temperature. Moreover, thickness variation in the discs provides a significant weight reduction. A disc with lower rigidity at the inner surface according to the outer surface should be selected to obtain almost homogenous stress distribution and to increase resistance to temperature. So, discs, which have more rigid region at the outer surface, are more useful in terms of resistance to temperature.
Two-dimensional solidification analysis during rheology forming process of semi-solid aluminum alloy has been studied. Two-phase fluid flow model to investigate the velocity field and temperature distribution is proposed. The proposed mathematical model is applied to the die shape of the two types. To calculate the velocity and temperature fields during rheology forming process, the earth governing equation correspondent to the liquid and solid region are adapted. Therefore, each numerical models considering the solid and liquid region existing within the semi-solid material have been developed to predict the deflect of rheology forming gnarls. The Arbitrary Boundary Maker And Cell (ABMAC) method is employed to solve the two-phase flow model of the Navier-Stokes equation. Theoretical model on the basis of the two-phase flow model is the mixture rule of solid and liquid phases. This approach is based on the liquid and solid viscosity. The liquid viscosity is pure liquid state value, however solid viscosity is considered as a function of the shear rate, solid fraction and power law curves.
This study aims at developing the double cantilever beam (DCB) method in order to calculate the bridging stress distribution in polycrystalline aluminas with different grain sizes. In the already existing DCB methods the measured crack opening displacement (COD) in coarse-grained aluminas deviates generally from the calcula-ted one because of the grain-interface bridging in the crack wake. In the current DBC method developed in the present study the effect of the bridging stress was considered in the DCB analysis. whereas the only effect of applied point-loading at the end of DCB specimen was taken into account in the existing DCB analysis The crack closure due to bridging stress was calculated using the power-law relation and the theoretical model developed in Part I of the present paper as bridging stress function and then compared analytically. The limitations of the current DCB methods such as specimen dimensions applied loads and elastic modulus were discussed in detail to provide a reliability of the newly developed DCB analysis for the bridging stress distribu-tion in polycrystalline aluminas.
In space weather forecast, it is important to determine three-dimensional properties of CMEs. Using 29 limb CMEs, we examine which cone type is close to a CME three-dimensional structure. We find that most CMEs have near full ice-cream cone structure which is a symmetrical circular cone combined with a hemisphere. We develop a full ice-cream cone model based on a new methodology that the full ice-cream cone consists of many flat cones with different heights and angular widths. By applying this model to 12 SOHO/LASCO halo CMEs, we find that 3D parameters from our method are similar to those from other stereoscopic methods (i.e., a triangulation method and a Graduated Cylindrical Shell model). In addition, we derive CME mean density (${\bar{\rho}_{CME}}={\frac{M_{total}}{V_{cone}}}$) based on the full ice-cream cone structure. For several limb events, we determine CME mass by applying the Solarsoft procedure (e.g., cme_mass.pro) to SOHO/LASCO C3 images. CME volumes are estimated from the full ice-cream cone structure. For the first time, we derive average CME densities as a function of CME height for several CMEs, which are well fitted to power-law functions. We will compare densities (front and average) of geoeffective CMEs and their corresponding ICME ones.

In this work, an analytical formulation based on both hyperbolic shear deformation theory and stress function, is presented to study the nonlinear post-buckling response of symmetric functionally graded plates supported by elastic foundations and subjected to in-plane compressive, thermal and thermo-mechanical loads. Elastic properties of material are based on sigmoid power law and varying across the thickness of the plate (S-FGM). In the present formulation, Von Karman nonlinearity and initial geometrical imperfection of plate are also taken into account. By utilizing Galerkin procedure, closed-form expressions of buckling loads and post-buckling equilibrium paths for simply supported plates are obtained. The effects of different parameters such as material and geometrical characteristics, temperature, boundary conditions, foundation stiffness and imperfection on the mechanical and thermal buckling and post-buckling loading capacity of the S-FGM plates are investigated.
This article presented a nanoscale modified continuum model to investigate the free vibration of functionally graded (FG) porous nanobeam by using finite element method. The main novelty of this manuscript is presenting effects of four different porosity models on vibration behaviors of nonlocal nanobeam structure including size effect, that not be discussed before The proposed porosity models are, uniform porosity distribution, symmetric with mid-plane, bottom surface distribution and top surface distribution. The nano-scale effect is included in modified model by using the differential nonlocal continuum theory of Eringen that adding the length scale into the constitutive equations as a material parameter constant. The graded material is distributed through the beam thickness by a generalized power law function. The beam is simply supported, and it is assumed to be thin. Therefore, the kinematic assumptions of Euler-Bernoulli beam theory are held. The mathematical model is solved numerically using the finite element method. Results demonstrate effects of porosity type, material gradation, and nanoscale parameters on the free vibration of nanobeam. The proposed model is effective in vibration analysis of NEMS structure manufactured by porous functionally graded materials.

An iteration method has been developed for determining crack growth and fracture resistance cure (J-R curve) from the load versus load-line displacement record only. In this method, the hardening curve, the load versus displacement curve at a given crack length, is assumed to be a power-law function, where the exponent varies with the crack length. The exponent is determined by an iterative calculation method with the assumption that the exponent varies linearly with the load-line displacement. The proposed method was applied to the static J-R tests using compact tension(CT) specimens, a three-point bend (TPB) specimen, and a cracked round bar (CRB) specimen as well as it was applied to the quasi-dynamic J-R tests using CT specimens. The J-R curves determined by the proposed method were compared with those obtained by the conventional testing methodologies. The results showed that the J-R curves could be determined directly by the proposed iteration method with sufficient accuracy in the specimens from SA508, SA533, and SA516 pressure vessel steels and SA312 Type 347 stainless steel.
The implicit, finite element analysis program for analyzing the springback in the warm forming process of aluminum alloy sheets was developed. For the description of planar anisotropy in warm forming temperatures, Barlat's yield function is employed, and the power law type constitutive equation is used in terms of working temperatures for the depiction of work hardening in high temperatures. Also, Jetture's 4-node shell elements are introduced for reflecting the mechanical behavior of aluminum alloy sheet and the non-steady heat balance equations are solved for considering heat gain and loss during the forming process. For the springback evaluation, Newton-Raphson iteration method is introduced for overcoming the geometric nonlinearlity problem. In order to verify the validity of the FEM program developed, the stretching bending and springback processes are simulated. Though springback analysis results are slightly bigger than experimental ones, they have the same trend of the decreasing springback as the forming temperature increases.
