손상평가와 구조물 신뢰성과의 연계 (Linkage of Damage Evaluation to Structural System Reliability)

  • 구조물에 대한 비파괴 손상평가는 손상 전과 손상 후의 동적 특성으로부터 손상의 위치와 그 크기에 대한 정보를 제공한다. 기존 구조물의 시스템 신뢰도를 추정하기 위해서는 이러한 비파괴 손상평가의 결과가 부재요소의 파괴확률에 반영되어야 한다. 구조 부재의 파괴확률은 각 부재의 파괴함수로부터 신뢰성 이론을 이용하여 구할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 각 부재의 파괴확률로부터 직접 구조 시스템의 파괴확률을 구할 수 있는 식을 제안하였다. 손상평가와 신뢰성평가 분야의 연계는 철골조 단층 프레임의 수치해석 모델에 인위적인 손상을 가하여 손상 전과 손상 후의 모달 변수를 이용하여 그 타당성을 입증하였다.

열역학 교과목에 대한 플립러닝 교수법 적용 사례 (A Case Study on the Application of Flipped Learning Methodology to Thermodynamics in Mechanical Engineering)

  • In this study, the application of flipped learning methodology to thermodynamics in mechanical engineering was examined, and how university students view flipped learning and the effects of flipped learning were analyzed. To analyze the effects of flipped learning, pre-class survey, assessment on learning in pre-class, team activities during class, and post-class survey were conducted. The analysis was also conducted on 33 students who took the thermodynamics course in mechanical engineering, and the PARTNER flipped learning model was applied to the class. The results of this study are as follows; In the preliminary survey, the students expected that the flip-learning class with team activities and teaching between team members would be helpful in improving their learning. In addition, students recognized that cooperative learning through a team was helpful for learning. The case reflecting the result of pre-learning evaluation to the subject grades showed higher pre-learning evaluation results than the case not reflecting the result of the pre-learning evaluation to the subject grades, and it was found that the pre-learning evaluation was acting as a factor to promote learning in pre-class. In post-class survey, the satisfaction with the flipped learning class was high, indicating that the effectiveness of the flipped learning class applied to the thermodynamics class was excellent.

  • For an earthquake-safe urban environment, the Republic of Korea conducts seismic performance evaluation in accordance with laws and guidelines to assign safety ratings and implement necessary management measures such as repairs and reinforcements. In the seismic performance evaluation result, structures lacking in preparation for earthquakes are prioritized and classified into measures such as repair, reinforcement, or careful observation to respond to physical risks such as earthquakes. Such repair and reinforcement work is not a one-time thing, but it is necessary to further enhance the effect through continuous follow-up observation. In this study, the location of the vertical and horizontal displacement measuring part of the construction part is displayed so that the post-construction status of the reinforcement construction part can be visually checked by identifying the problems in the process of post-monitoring in 2022 for the maintenance and reinforcement work of local governments' public facilities carried out in 2021. We propose a plan to institutionalize the installation of, inspection tools, and crack gauges at certain locations in the construction department, and to have facility managers periodically inspect and manage them with a smartphone program or the 'Facility Autonomous Safety Inspection' app.

출연연구기관 기관평가의 책임성 요소 변화 분석 (Accountability Trend for Government Supported Research Institutes : Evidence from the Institute Evaluation 1991-2005)

  • 본 연구는 출연연구기관의 기관평가요소 분석을 통해 최근까지 출연연구기관에 대한 책임성(accountability)이 어떻게 변화 및 발전되어 왔는가를 분석하고자 한다. 구체적으로 1991년부터 2005까지 기관평가요소를 연구회 설립 이전과 연구회 설립 이후 기간으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 출연연구기관에 요구되는 책임성을 법규준수 책임성, 관리적 책임성, 재무적 책임성, 사업성과 책임성, 사회적 책임성 등 다섯 가지 책임성으로 구분하여 분석한 결과, 연구회 설립이전에는 법규준수 책임성, 관리적 책임성 등이 강조되었으며, 연구회 설립 이후에는 사업성과 책임성, 관리적 책임성이 강조되었다. 법규준수 책임성과 관리적 책임성은 시간이 흐름에 따라 요구하는 구체적인 책임내용이 상당히 변화되었다. 최근에는 사업성과 책임성이 가장 중요한 책임성으로 강조되고 있으며 재무적 책임성도 연구회 설립 이후 새롭게 등장하였다.

하천사업의 표준화된 사후 평가 기법 개발 연구 I (A Study on Development of Standard Technology for Post-Evaluation of Stream Project I)

  • 하천은 이·치수 및 환경의 기능을 수행하며 국가의 생활과 문화의 발전에 기여한다. 현재 전국에는 5,937개의 하천이 존재하며, 각 부처 및 지자체에서는 하천유역을 개발 및 복원하기 위한 다양한 사업을 추진 중에 있다. 그러나 각 기관별로 사업의 평가절차 및 평가기법이 통일되지 않고 상이하게 이뤄지고 있음으로 인해 효과성 검증 및 사업 간의 비교와 같은 효율적인 평가가 어려운 실정이다. 이는 동일한 구간에 중복된 사업 수행으로 인한 예산의 과잉투자 문제를 불러일으킬 수 있으며, 추후 하천사업 계획 시 실패한 사업의 요소가 반복적으로 사용될 수 있다는 문제를 야기한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 인식하여 하천 관련 사업들을 표준적으로 평가할 수 있는 하천사업 사후 평가 틀을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 각 기관별 사업평가 기법과 국가R&D사업, 사회복지사업 등 다방면의 사업들을 비교·분석하여 사업 표준화 추진단계를 우선적으로 제시하였다. 또한 표준화 추진단계를 바탕으로 각 단계별 평가지표를 도출하여 하천 관련 사업을 표준적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가기법을 제시하였다. 최종적으로 시행 완료된 하천사업의 성공요인과 실패요인의 비교·분석을 통해 계획 중인 하천사업에 실패요소가 반복적으로 사용되는 것을 막을 수 있으며 사업의 효율성을 제고할 것으로 본다.

충격 공진 기법을 이용한 화재 손상 콘크리트의 재양생 조건별 재료물성 평가 (Evaluation of Material Properties of Fire-damaged Concrete Under Post-fire Curing Regimes Using Impact Resonance Vibration Method)

  • 콘크리트 구조물이 화재 손상을 입을 경우 노출온도 및 지속시간에 따라 구조물의 심각한 성능 저하를 야기하며, 콘크리트의 재료 물성 저하를 수반한다. 화재 손상을 입은 콘크리트 구조물의 재사용여부 및 보수보강 판단을 위해서는 손상 직후 및 재양생 조건에 따른 주요 손상 부위의 면밀한 손상 평가가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 재양생 조건에 따른 화재 손상을 입은 콘크리트의 재료물성 회복에 관한 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 화재 손상을 입은 콘크리트 시편을 상대습도 및 재양생 기간을 달리한 재양생 조건을 적용하였으며, 충격공진기법을 도입하여 콘크리트 시편의 화재 손상 전후 및 재양생 이후의 동탄성계수를 측정하여 손상 정도를 평가하였다. 측정된 결과로부터 재양생 조건 중 높은 상대습도 조건에서 지배적으로 재료물성의 회복이 발생하였다. 추가적으로 콘크리트 시편의 동탄성계수 및 인장강도의 직접적인 비교 및 선형회귀분석을 수행하여 재양생 조건에 따른 영향을 분석하였으며, 이를 토대로 높은 습도 조건에서 동탄성계수의 회복이 인장강도에 비해 두드러지게 나타남을 확인하였다.

의복구매효능감에 따른 의류제품평가의 차이 (Differences in the Evaluation of Clothing Products according to Self-Efficacy in Purchasing Clothes)

  • This study examines whether there are differences in the evaluation of clothing products according to self-efficacy in purchasing clothes. A total of 300 surveys were distributed and 231 were used for analysis. The data were analyzed by regression and factor analysis. The results are as follows. First, there were significant differences in the product attributes considered according to self-efficacy in purchasing clothes. The consumers with high self-efficacy considered diverse product attributes comprehensively when making purchase decisions and had significantly higher score in perceived value and post-purchase satisfaction level than the consumers with low self-efficacy. Second, there were differences in the attributes of clothing products that effects perceived value according to self-efficacy in purchasing clothes. The attributes of 'clothes that I like' and 'necessary clothes' had a significant effect on perceived value for both consumers. The attributes of 'design that suits me' and 'inexpensive price' had significant effect on perceived value on consumers with high self-efficacy while the attributes of 'harmony with other clothes' had a significant effect on perceived value for consumers with low self-efficacy. Third, there were differences in product attributes and the perceived value that influenced post-purchase satisfaction level according to self-efficacy in purchasing clothes. The attributes of 'design that suits me' and perceived value had a direct effect on the post-purchase satisfaction level four consumers with a high self-efficacy. For the consumers with low self- efficacy, the attributes of 'clothes I like', 'necessary clothes', and 'design similar to that of usually purchased products' had a direct effect on post-purchase satisfaction level; however, the effect of perceived value was not found.

Analysis of Preference in Plant Fragrances and Psychological Evaluation of Firefighter

  • Background and objective: This study was carried out to investigate and analyze the preference for plant fragrance and the psychological effects of a agro-healing activity in 101 firefighters aged 39.71 ± 10.94. Methods: For the psychological evaluation, post-traumatic stress symptoms, Korean occupational stress scale short form (KOSS-SF), emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction were surveyed on the Likert scale. For the preference for plant fragrances, 20 ㎕ of commercially available essential oils from four plant species (Mentha spp., Lavandula spp., Citrus limon, C. sinensis) were absorbed into each test paper and provided to the participants. Results: The rate of post-traumatic stress symptoms was high at 37.6% of the firefighters surveyed.. C. limon fragrance had the highest preference among the four plant fragrances, followed by C. sinensis > Mentha spp. > Lavandula spp. with statistically significant difference (F = 14.256, p < .001). The lower their age, income, and position, and higher the education level, the higher the preference for plant fragrances. And the administrative group had higher preference for plant fragrances than field group. In addition, as a result of examining the correlation between job satisfaction, preference for plant fragrance, post-traumatic stress, emotional intelligence, and job stress for fire-fighters, the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the fragrance preference and emotional intelligence, and the lower the post-traumatic stress and job stress. Conclusion: Therefore, installing a garden using botanical fragrances at workplaces that firefighters can easily access will improve job satisfaction and relieve stress. It can be concluded that applying the fragrance of plants to the healing farming activities at the fire-fighter's workplace can increase the usefulness of the healing activities.

A comparative evaluation of fracture resistance of endodontically treated teeth restored with different post core systems - an in-vitro study

  • PURPOSE. To compare the fracture resistance and the mode of failure of endodontically treated teeth restored with different post-core systems. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Root canal treatment was performed on 40 maxillary incisors and the samples were divided into four groups of 10 each. For three experimental groups post space preparation was done and teeth were restored with cast post-core (Group B), stainless steel post with composite core (Group C) and glass fiber post with composite core using adhesive resin cement (Group D). Control group (A) samples were selected with intact coronal structure. All the samples were prepared for ideal abutment preparation. All the samples were subjected to a load of 0.5 mm/min at $130^{circ}$.until fracture occurred using the universal testing machine. The fracture resistance was measured and the data were analyzed statistically. The fracture above the embedded resin was considered to be favorable and the fracture below the level was considered as unfavorable. The statistical analysis of fracture resistance between different groups was carried out with t-test. For the mode of failure the statistical analysis was carried out by Kruskal-Wallis test and Chi-Square test. RESULTS. For experimental group Vs control group the fracture resistance values showed significant differences (P<.05). For the mode of failure the chi-square value is 16.1610, which means highly significant (P=.0009) statistically. CONCLUSION. Endodontically treated teeth without post core system showed the least fracture resistance demonstrating the need to reinforce the tooth. Stainless steel post with composite core showed the highest fracture resistance among all the experimental groups. Teeth restored with the Glass fiber post showed the most favorable fractures making them more amenable to the re-treatment.

소포물류센터의 경제성분석 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Economic Analysis of Parcel Warehouse & Distribution Center)

  • The volume of B2C products rapidly increases according to the activation of the electronic commerce. Small and medium electronic commerce companies request the establishment of Parcel Warehouse &Distribution Center(PWDC) that is invested by the post office. This paper presents an economic evaluation method for PWDC from the perspectives fo PWDC and the post office. Two types of warehouses are considered as alternatives for PWDC. One is the conventional warehouse, and the other is the automamic warehouse that is characterized by AS/RS and automatic dispenser system. A benefit/cost analysis method is used to evaluate PWDC since it has the property of public enterprise. A PWDC which will be located in Seoul and adjacent to a concentrated post office is selected as a case study to illustrate the procedure of economic analysis.
