  • 초음속 흡입구의 충격파 안정성과 높은 압축효율을 획득하기 위한 버즈여유 결정기법을 제안하였다. 충격파 평형 방정식을 이용하여 자유흐름 및 배압에 의한 종말 충격파 위치의 민감도를 유도하였고, 외란의 크기를 통계적 방법에 의해 정량화 하였다. 수치적 계산결과 종말 충격파의 운동은 마하수에 비례하는 민감도 특성을 보였고, 후단 배압에 의한 그 영향이 가능 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Observational Arc-Length Effect on Orbit Determination for KPLO Using a Sequential Estimation Technique

  • In this study, orbit determination (OD) simulation for the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) was accomplished for investigation of the observational arc-length effect using a sequential estimation algorithm. A lunar polar orbit located at 100 km altitude and $90^{\circ}$ inclination was mainly considered for the KPLO mission operation phase. For measurement simulation and OD for KPLO, the Analytical Graphics Inc. Systems Tool Kit 11 and Orbit Determination Tool Kit 6 software were utilized. Three deep-space ground stations, including two deep space network (DSN) antennas and the Korea Deep Space Antenna, were configured for the OD simulation. To investigate the arc-length effect on OD, 60-hr, 48-hr, 24-hr, and 12-hr tracking data were prepared. Position uncertainty by error covariance and orbit overlap precision were used for OD performance evaluation. Additionally, orbit prediction (OP) accuracy was also assessed by the position difference between the estimated and true orbits. Finally, we concluded that the 48-hr-based OD strategy is suitable for effective flight dynamics operation of KPLO. This work suggests a useful guideline for the OD strategy of KPLO mission planning and operation during the nominal lunar orbits phase.

Validation of Geostationary Earth Orbit Satellite Ephemeris Generated from Satellite Laser Ranging

  • This study presents the generation and accuracy assessment of predicted orbital ephemeris based on satellite laser ranging (SLR) for geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) satellites. Two GEO satellites are considered: GEO-Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite (KOMPSAT)-2B (GK-2B) for simulational validation and Compass-G1 for real-world quality assessment. SLR-based orbit determination (OD) is proactively performed to generate orbital ephemeris. The length and the gap of the predicted orbital ephemeris were set by considering the consolidated prediction format (CPF). The resultant predicted ephemeris of GK-2B is directly compared with a pre-specified true orbit to show 17.461 m and 23.978 m, in 3D root-mean-square (RMS) position error and maximum position error for one day, respectively. The predicted ephemeris of Compass-G1 is overlapped with the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) final orbit from the GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ) analysis center (AC) to yield 36.760 m in 3D RMS position differences. It is also compared with the CPF orbit from the International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) to present 109.888 m in 3D RMS position differences. These results imply that SLR-based orbital ephemeris can be an alternative candidate for improving the accuracy of commonly used radar-based orbital ephemeris for GEO satellites.

  • 이 논문은 위성항법시스템의 문제점인 위치오차와 실외음영지역을 해소하기 위하여 위성항법시스템과 비전시스템을 융합한 신뢰성있는 고정밀 측위 기술을 제안하였다. 동적단독측위에서 이동체는 이동 위치에 따라 사용할 수 있는 위성항법시스템의 수가 변화한다, 위치 측위를 위해서는 최소 4개 이상의 위성항법시스템으로부터 위치정보데이터를 수신 받아야 한다. 그러나 도심지역에서는 고층건물이나 장애물 또는 반사파에 의해 정확한 위치측위가 어렵다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 비전 시스템을 이용하였다. 위성항법시스템을 사용하기 열악한 도심지역의 특정 건물에 정확한 위치값을 결정해 놓는다. 그리고 비전시스템을 통해 특정 건물을 인식하고, 인식된 건물을 이용하여 위치오차를 보정해 준다. 이동체는 이동하면서 비전시스템을 이용하여 특정 건물을 인식하며 위치 데이터값을 만들어내고, 위치계산을 수정하여 안정되고 신뢰성있는 고정밀 위치측위를 할 수 있다.

웨지 와이어를 이용한 선박용 필터 스크린 제작을 위한 최적 지지 위치 및 안정성 판단 (Determination of Optimal Support Position and Stability for Manufacturing Filter Screen for Ships Using Wedge Wires)

  • In this study, the optimal support position determination and stability determination of the wedge wire screen were performed for the production of the wedge wire filter screen with improved mesh screen. In order to manufacture a filter screen using a wedge wire, the support rod wedge wire is first installed according to the filtering capacity, and then spot welding is performed while rotating the profile wire. In the existing manufacturing method, it was manufactured using a 3m rod wedge wire and then cut according to dimensions, but it required the manufacture of a 6m cylindrical screen. Due to the increase in wedge wire length, it is difficult to manufacture stress concentration at sagging and fixed positions. In order to shorten the time of analysis, a single wedge wire was applied instead of a plurality of wedge wires. The reliability and validity of the interpretation were presented and the results were derived. After selecting the support point at the 2m position, structural analysis was performed on the entire filter screen to confirm stability.The purpose of this study is to identify the maximum deflection of the wire for the production of a 6m wedge wire screen and secure design basic data so that it can work safely through optimal support.

영상처리 기법을 이용한 SMD 장착위치 및 방향 생성에 관한 연구 (A study on the generation of SMD mounting position and orientation utilizing image processing technique)

  • In this paper, an algorithm to generate the mounting position and orientation of SMD is proposed. For the proposed algorithm, we used the image captured from PCB and utilized image processing technique. Pre-processing technique, threshold level determination method, divided recognition of the SMD pattern on a PCB, calculating mounting position and orientation are related topics of this research. All of the related topics were reviewed and the results of this research were obtained from applying the algorithm to the real Surface Mounting Machine(model:MCUl/CPM) made by Samsung Electronics Co.

  • This study concerns about the orbit prediction and orbit determination of Korean future communication satellite, called "Moogunghwa", which will be motioned in the geo-stationary orbit. Perturbation effect on the satellite orbit due to nonspherical geopotential term, lunar and solar gravity, drag force of the atmosphere and solar radiation pressure was investigated. Cowell's method is used for orbit prediction. Orbit determination was performed by using EKF which is suitable for real-time orbit determination. The result shows that the characteristics of the satellite orbit has drift. So the periodic control time and control value in the view of the periodic of error can be provided. The orbit determination demonstrated the effectiveness since the convergence performance on the position and velocity error , and state error standard deviation is reasonable.easonable.

Shape determination of 3-D reinforcement corrosion in concrete based on observed temperature on concrete surface

  • We present the shape determination method of 3-D reinforcement corrosion based on observed temperature on concrete surface. The non-destructive testing for reinforcement corrosion in concrete using a heat image on concrete surface have been proposed by Oshita. The position of the reinforcement of corrosion or the cavity can be found using that method. However, the size of those defects can not be precisely measured based on the heat image. We therefore proposed the numerical determination system of the shape for the reinforcement corrosion using the observed temperature on the concrete surface. The adjoint variable method is introduced to formulate the shape determination problem, and the finite element method is employed to simulate the heat transfer problem. Some numerical experiments and the examination for the number of the observation points are shown in this paper.
