We implemented POPeye (Probe of Performance ＋ eye), a system analysis simulator to evaluate DRAM performance in a personal computer environment. When running any real-life application programs such as Microsoft Office and Paint Shop Pro on Windows OS, POPeye simulates detailed transactions between a CPU and a memory system. Using this tool, we comparatively analyzed the performance of a DDR-SDRAM, a D-RDRAM, and a DDR-FCRAM.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of fashion magazine on the street fashion, focused on Japan. The data were collected from the magazines and newspapers published in Japan from 1960's to 1990's. Fashion magazine has three functions : transmit information function, education and criticism function, advertisement and entertainment function. And, it has influenced on the street fashion by grasping the fashion trend and consumer needs, and communicating the vision to reader in Japan. The results were as follows : 1. the ivy look of 'Heibon Punch' in the 1960's, 2. the coordinate look of 'Anan' and 'Nanno', 3. the outdoor look of 'Popeye' in the 1970's, 4. the new traditional style of 'JJ' in the 1970's - 1980's, 5. lyceenne look of 'Olive' in the 1980's, 6. Shibu-Kaji style of 'McSister', 7. the supermarket style of 'Cutie' in the 1990's.

목적: 상완 이두근 장두의 고정술을 시행하는데 있어 관절경을 이용한 간섭 나사못(interference screw) 고정술후의 임상적 결과를 분석하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2008년 1월부터 2010년 1월까지 상완 이두근 장두의 건 고정술을 시행한 환자를 대상으로 하였으며, 최소 1년 이상 추시가 가능하였던 30예를 대상으로 하였다. 그중 회전근개 파열을 동반한 경우는 20예였다. 결과는 VAS, ASES, 상완 이두근 구의 압통, 고정실패 및 변형의 정도로 판단하였다. 결과: 최종 추시시 모든 환자에서 수술 전에 비해서 VAS, ASES 점수는 의미 있게 호전되었으나(p<0.05), 최종 추시시 17%(5예)에서 상완 이두근 구의 통증이 존재하였고, 10%(3예)에서 고정실패 및 BAD (biceps apex distance)의 증가로 인한 Popeye 변형이 존재하였다. 또한 회전근개 파열을 동반한 군과 그렇지 않는 군에서는 최종 추시시 회전근개 파열이 없는 군에서 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다(p<0.05). 결론: 상완 이두근 근위부 병변에 의한 통증이 있는 환자에서 관절경적 상완 이두근 장두의 건고정술은 모두 최종 추시시 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있으나, 17%에서 상완 이두근 구의 압통이 존재하여 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

목적: 간섭나사(interference screw)를 이용한 관절경적 상완 이두건 대흉근 상부 건 고정술의 임상적 결과를 분석하고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2008년 1월부터 2010년 1월까지 간섭나사를 이용한 관절경적 상완 이두건 장두의 대흉근 상부 건 고정술을 시행한 환자를 대상으로 하였고, 이 중 최소 1년 이상 추시 가능하였던 30예를 대상으로 하였다. 그 중 회전근 개 파열을 동반한 경우는 20예였다. 결과는 VAS, ASES, 상완 이두건 구의 통증, 고정실패 및 변형 정도로 판단하였다. 결과: 최종 추시에서 모든 환자에서 수술 전에 비해 VAS, ASES점수는 의미 있게 호전되었으나(p<0.05), 5예(17%)에서 견관절 전방 통증 및 상완 이두건 구의 압통이 존재하였고, 3예(10%)에서 고정실패로 인한 Popeye 변형이 존재하였다. 또한, 회전근 개 파열을 동반하지 않는 군에서 파열을 동반한 군보다 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다(p<0.05). 결론: 상완 이두건 근위부 병변에 의한 통증이 있는 환자에서 간섭나사를 이용한 관절경적 상완 이두건 장두의 대흉근 상부 건 고정술은 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있어 유용한 치료방법으로 사료되나, 17%에서 상완 이두건구에 압통이 존재해 이에 대한 추가적 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Background: Excessive pronation of the feet can cause excessive inner rotation of the femur, followed by increased stress in the gluteus maximum, increased front slope of the pelvis, and lumbar lordosis, which leads to lumbar pain. The aim of the present study was to use the navicular drop test to examine foot pronation that can cause lumbar lordosis and to determine whether the navicular drop is lower in patients diagnosed with lumbar disc than in patients without this diagnosis. Methods: The Navicular Drop score was set by subtracting the navicular height at a standing position from the navicular height in a sitting position. The Navicular Drop measurements for college student with and without Lumbar Herniated Intervertebral Disc were compared using an independent t-test. Results: The control group were measured right $7.44{\pm}2.96$ and left $8.04{\pm}3.23$. The experimental group were measured right $2.12{\pm}1.33$ and left $2.80{\pm}1.29$. Therefore significant difference was found between the two groups (p<0.05). Conclusions: The navicular drop affected lumbar herniated intervertebral disc.

Background: Popeye deformity is common after rupture of the biceps muscle's long head tendon. Herein, we report on histological changes in biceps brachii muscles following tenotomy of the long head biceps tendon. Methods: Twelve Sprague-Dawley rats (12-week-old) underwent tenotomy of the long head biceps tendon in the right shoulder. At postoperative weeks 4, 7, and 10, the operative shoulders were removed by detaching the biceps brachii muscle from the glenoid scapula and humerus; the opposite shoulders were removed as controls. H&E staining was performed to elucidate histological changes in myocytes. Oil-red O staining was performed to determine fatty infiltration. Myostatin antibody immunohistochemistry staining was performed as myostatin is expressed by skeletal muscle cells during myogenesis. Results: H&E staining results revealed no changes in muscle cell nuclei. There were no adipocytes detected. Compared with that of the control biceps, the cross-sectional area of the long head biceps was significantly smaller (p=0.00). Statistical changes in the total extent of the 100 muscle cells were significant (p=0.00). Oil-red O staining revealed no fatty infiltration. Myostatin antibody immunohistochemical staining revealed no significant difference between the two sides. Conclusions: Muscular changes after tenotomy of the long head biceps included a decrease in the size of the individual muscle cells and in relative muscle mass. There were no changes observed in muscle cell nuclei and no fatty infiltration. Moreover, there were no changes detected by myostatin antibody immunohistochemistry assay.

외식 산업에 있어 다국적 브랜드가 국내 외식사업을 잠식하고 있고 그러한 브랜드가 국내 소비자에게 인지도가 높아가고 있는 시점에서 패스트푸드도 브랜드화된 하나의 제품이라 보고 그 가치를 느끼게 하는 비쥬얼 아이덴티티를 중심으로 브랜드 인지도와 이미지 연상을 연구를 통하여 전개하고자 한다. 최근에 외식산업의 발달로 브랜드 아이덴티티에 의한 브랜드 이미지를 통해서 자산가치가 새로히 평가받고 있는 이때에 무엇보다도 여러가지 마케팅 포지셔닝이 다양한 패스트푸드업을 통해서 브랜드 연상(Brand Association)과 그 의미를 확인하는데 그 연구 목적이 있다. 서비스를 제공하는 음식의 제조와 판매가 분리된 조직적인 경영기법인 프랜차이징 시스템(Franchising System)으로 운영하는 특성을 갖고 있다. 이러한 경영전략은 소비자에게 자사 브랜드의 인지도와 충성도를 높이는 매우 중요한 포지셔닝(Positioning)으로 차지하고 있는 것이다. 또한 이미 발생된 브랜드 마크에 의한 색체와 도형 등 비쥬얼이미지(Visual Image)에 의한 연상(Association)이 어떻게 나타내고 있는가 연구함으로 국내 패스트푸드업의 프랜차이즈(Fran chise)의 활성화에 도움이 되고자 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 윌리엄 포크너의 "성역: 오리지널 텍스트"가 개작되어 발표된 "성역"과 어떤 차이가 있는지 또한 이 작품이 개작되고 버려진 원인에 대해 살펴보고 독립적인 별개의 작품으로 인정받을 수 있는 이유를 밝히고자 하는 것이다. 작가의 실험적 작품 활동이 활발하던 시기에 집필된 이 작품은 그 시기와 이후의 작품들의 주제와 인물 창작의 면에서 기반(matrix)의 역할을 하고 있음에도 불구하고 오랫동안 잊혀져왔다. 이 작품을 분석함으로써 초기 작품들의 인물에 공통적으로 나타나는 요소들과 작품들에서 볼 수 있는 공통적인 주제의 틀을 찾을 수 있다. 따라서 이 작품 자체로도 진지한 작업의 결과물이며 그가 구상한 요크나파토파 카운티의 첫 구상의 역할을 하고 있으며 호러스 벤보우의 어린 시절을 중심사건과 공통적으로 나타나는 요소들을 찾아서 이 작품이 가지는 중요성과 문학적 의의를 밝히고자 했다. 1920년대에 작가로서의 입문과정을 거치면서 작가는 혼돈된 세계 안에서 일어나는 인간의 삶과 인간 군상을 만들어갈 때 작가에게는 하나의 프로토콜이 될 수 있는 인물이 필요하며 호러스가 지닌 인간의 약점이 ?틴과 다알과 젊은 베이야드 사토리스 등의 인물을 창조해나가는 원형이 되었다고 본다.

본 연구의 목적은 윌리엄 포크너의 "어느 수녀를 위한 진혼곡"에서 템플이 전편인 "성역"에 비해 도덕적으로 성장했는지를 재고해보는 것이다. "성역"에서 템플은 포파이에 의해 옥수수 속대로 강간당했지만 법정에서 위증을 하여 그 결과 억울하게도 리 굿윈이 잔인하게 처형된다. 그러나 8년의 시간이 흐른 뒤 "진혼곡"에서는 템플은 가우언 스티븐스의 아내이자 두 아이의 엄마가 되었지만 과거의 악몽으로부터 벗어나지 못하고 옛 애인인 레드의 동생, 피트와 도망가려고 한다. 템플의 아기를 돌보는 흑인 유모 낸시는 자신도 과거의 트라우마를 지니고 있지만 템플과 그녀의 가정을 지켜주기 위해 아기를 살해하고 그 죄로 인해 법정에서 사형 언도를 받는다. 조금의 주저함도 없이 사형언도를 받아들이는 낸시와의 대면을 통해 템플은 결코 사라지지 않는 과거의 무게와 과거의 현재성을 자각한다. 과거는 결코 과거가 아니라 현재라는 고통스러운 인식과 함께 죄와 벌에 대한 정신적, 도덕적 성찰로 이어진다. 실제의 집필기간이 20년의 차이가 있다는 점을 고려하면 작가 자신의 여성에 대한 인식과 시간에 대한 개념 역시 성장을 했다는 것을 알 수 있다.
