This paper is the study of the diffusion constant in order to calculate the percent oxygenation and percent blood volume using reflectance light within biological tissue. The diffusion constant play major role in percent oxygenation and percent blood volume and varies with the biological material such as hemolyzed blood, whole blood, dermis and epidermis in vivo tissue. The diffusion constant can be modeled to consist of a contribution from bloodless tissue and blood present in tissue. The reflectance light for experimental are red light of 660nm, infrared light of 880nm, green light of 569nm. The correlation between the diffusion constant and biological tissue was analyzed by the intensity of reflectance light at different depth within human limb. The reflectance light was changed in response to physiological changes within biological tissue. The data for diffusion constant were obtained at different depth beneath the surface of the skin and will be utilized to amen the percent oxygenation and percent blood volume.

Within the conventional transportation planning process, "trip distribution" has a significant role to play. The most widely applied trip distribution model is the gravity model, for which Wilson provided the theoretical basis in 1967. The concept of the gravity model, however, still remains ambiguous if we analyze the "trip distribution" with a disaggregate data set. Thus, this paper hypothesizes that the gravity technique is still valid even with the disaggregate data set, by proving that the estimated coefficients of the gravity model, which is derived under the principle of entropy maximization, are identical with those of the multinomial logit model, which is derived under the principle of individual utility maximization.tility maximization.

A unique ensemble of datasets is available for the AKARI North Ecliptic Pole (NEP) field, having being observed virtually across the whole electromagnetic spectrum. We have undertaken a study of radio sources in the NEP field and in particular radio-loud AGN. We present preliminary results concerning the identification of these radio-loud AGN using a host of different selection criteria. We aim to study the host galaxies of these systems within the current framework of galaxy evolution and the role that AGN play in it.

Under the condition of variable density and specific heat, maximum pressure, maximum temperature, bearing load, friction and side leakage in high-speed journal bearing operation are examined within some degree of Journal misalignment. The results are compared with the calculation results under the conditions of constant density and specific heat, and variable density and constant specific heat. It is found that the condition of variable density and specific heat play important roles in determining friction and load of Journal bearing at high speed operation.

A spectral inversion scheme, based on the moment-method procudure with series-expanded field within each cell by dividing the dielectric object into a small number os rectangular cells with large area, is developed to regularize the ill-posedness inherent in inverse scattering problems. One of the interesting features on the presented scheme is that the relative dielectric constant may be obtained by averaging over each cell. This averaging is expected to play an important role in regularizing the high-frequency effect due to noise.

Background : Follicular dendritic cells (FDCs) play key roles during T cell-dependent humoral immune responses by allowing antigen-specific B cells to survive, proliferate, and differentiate within the FDC networks of secondary follicles, i.e., germinal centers (GC). Methods: A novel monoclonal antibody, 3C8, was generated by immunizing with an FDC line HK, in order to understand the molecular signals involved in the FDC-B cell interactions in the microenvironment of the GC. Results: The 3C8 antibody did not bind to mononuclear cells, including T cells, B cells, and monocytes. Murine L929 and human skin fibroblasts exhibited no or little reactivity to 3C8. However, 3C8 specifically recognized HK cells by flowcytometry. Furthermore, the antigen recognized by 3C8 was restricted to the GC of the human tonsil. Dendritic networks of the GC were intensely stained by 3C8, but cells outside the GC were not. Conclusion: Our results suggest that the antigen 3C8 may play some unique role on FDCs during the GC reactions.

본 연구는 폭력적 게임 이용이 청소년 도덕성에 악영향을 미칠 것이라는 사회적인 우려가 사실인지 검증하기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 자기통제, 자존감, 공격성과 같은 개인 내적 요인들과 함께 폭력적 게임 유무에 따른 청소년들의 게임 이용시간을 측정하고 이를 바탕으로 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 심리적 요인인 자존감과 자기통제는 도덕성과 정적인 관계를 보였지만 공격성은 도덕성과 부적 관계를 보였다. 반면 폭력성, 비폭력성 여부와 무관하게 게임 이용 시간은 도덕성과 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 해당 연구는 기존의 통념과 다르게 게임 이용이 청소년의 도덕적 해이와 무관하다는 사실과 함께 게임이 단순히 폭력적인 성향을 띤다고 해서 도덕성에 부정적인 영향이 발생하는 것이 아님을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The iron uptake and utilization pathways play a critical role in allowing human pathogens, including Cryptococcus neoformans, the causative agent of fatal meningoencephalitis, to survive within the mammalian body by competing with the host for iron. Here we show that the iron regulon is also required for diverse environmental stress responses and that in C. neoformans, it is regulated by the high-osmolarity glycerol response (HOG) pathway. Between CFO1 and CFO2, two ferroxidase genes in the iron regulon, CFO1 but not CFO2 was induced during oxidative and osmotic stress. Interestingly, we found that the HOG pathway repressed basal expression of both CFO1 and CFO2. Furthermore, when the HOG pathway was blocked, CFO2 also responded to oxidative and osmotic stress and the response of CFO1 was increased. We also established that CFO1 plays a major role in responding and adapting to diverse environmental stresses, including oxidative and genotoxic damage, osmotic fluctuations, heavy metal stress, and stress induced by cell membrane destabilizers. Therefore, our findings indicate that in C. neoformans, the iron uptake and utilization pathways are not only required for iron acquisition and survival, but also play a significant role in the environmental stress response through crosstalk with the HOG pathway.

본 연구는 <오버워치>를 통해 고수준의 플레이어가 되는 과정에서 게임 내 협력을 위한 희생이 어떻게 수행되는가에 대해 살펴보았으며 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 낮은 경쟁전 점수대에서는 칭찬카드가 공격형-딜러와 지원형-힐러간에 차이가 크게 나타났으며 지원형에게 많은 칭찬카드가 부여되었다. 둘째, 플레이어의 점수가 높아질수록 힐러로부터 딜러에게로 칭찬카드가 더 많이 부여되었다. 셋째, 고점수대의 플레이어들이 힐러역할을 자발적으로 맡음으로써 '자애로운 역할'을 자임하며 팀의 규범을 선도했고 결과적으로 팀 내에서 발생할 수 있는 역할 갈등의 위험을 분산했다. 이로부터 점수대가 높을수록 협력이 강해짐을 확인하였다.

선택적 함구증을 보인 6세 아동의 놀이치료 과정을 통해 나타난 정신역동 및 치료과정을 발달학적 관점에서 소개하였다. 비지시적 지지적 놀이치료를 실시하였고 치료자와의 관계속에서 환아는 놀이를 통하여 단계적으로 발달과정을 재경험하여 분리 불안 및 유기공포를 극복하고 자율성을 회복하므로써 증상의 소실과 함께 정상적 외디푸스시기의 발달을 이루게 되었다.
