재생 PET 섬유의 형상 및 길이가 시멘트 복합 재료의 소성 수축 균열에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Recycled PET Fiber Geometry and Length on the Plastic Shrinkage Cracking of Cement Based Composites)

  • 본 연구의 주요 목적은 시멘트 복합 재료의 소성 수축 균열 제어에 폐 PET병으로부터 만들어진 재생 PET 섬유의 효과를 평가하는 것이다. PET은 플라스틱 재료라 알려진 재료로 음료수 병 등에 다양하게 적용되어 왔다. 그렇지만 폐 PET 병은 사용 후에 환경적 측면에서 큰 문제점으로 부각되고 있다. 따라서 폐 PET 병을 재활용하는 방법에 대한 연구는 환경 및 경제적 측면에서 중요하게 되었다. 폐 PET 병을 재활용하는 방법 중 시멘트 복합 재료의 보강 섬유로 사용하는 방법은 효과적인 방법 중에 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 시멘트 복합 재료의 소성 수축 균열에 재생 PET 섬유의 형상 및 길이의 효과를 얇은 슬래브 실험을 통해서 조사하였다. 실험 계획은 섬유의 형상, 길이 및 혼입률의 영향을 이해하기 위하여 수행하였다. 재생 PET섬유의 형상은 straight, crimped및 embossed type의 3가지 형상을 포함하며, 각 3가지 섬유형상 마다 3가지 수준의 섬유 혼입률 및 2가지 종류의 섬유 길이에 대해서 조사하였다. 실험 결과 재생 PET섬유는 시멘트 복합 재료의 소성 수축 균열에 효과적이었다. 섬유의 길이의 관점에서 길이가 긴 섬유는 섬유의 형상이 동일할 때 섬유체적비가 적을 때 효과적이며, 섬유체적비가 증가하면 길이가 짧은 섬유가 더욱더 효과적이었다. 또한 embossed type의 섬유는 적은 섬유 혼입률에서 다른 형상의 섬유보다 소성 수축 균열 제어 효과가 우수하였으며, 높은 섬유 혼입률에서는 straight type의 섬유가 다른 형상의 섬유보다 시멘트 복합 재료의 소성 수축 균열 제어에 가장 효과적이었다.

분할타설되는 콘크리트 슬래브의 소성수축균열 특성에 대한 해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Characteristics of Plastic Shrinkage Cracking on Concrete Slab with Sequential Placement)

  • 이 논문에서는 참고문헌(곽효경 등, 2004; 곽효경 등, 2005)에서 제안된 소성수축균열 해석모델을 바탕으로 분할타설되는 콘크리트 슬래브의 소성수축균열 해석방법을 제안하였다. 이 해석방법을 이용해 슬래브의 분할타설이 소성수축균열에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았고 분할타설방법에 따른 소성수축균열 발생 특성을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 나아가 콘크리트 배합과 외기조건 및 분할타설방법을 변수로 하여 수행한 소성수축균열 해석으로부터 얻어진 해석결과를 바탕으로 슬래브의 표면 건조시기와 먼저 타설된 콘크리트의 표면 건조를 방지하기 위한 임계 타설시간간격에 대한 모델식을 제안함으로써 슬래브에 소성수축균열이 발생하지 않도록 분할타설방법을 계획하거나 소성수축균열의 제어를 위해 적절한 시기에 양생을 시작할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • The injection molding of the plastic optics is basically same as the conventional molding except it requires very intricate control of all the molding processing parameters. In the plastic optics, the problem of injection molding is the shrinkage. The shrinkage must be removed and predicted. This shrinkage is becoming more important than any other problems in precision molding because it can affect the focal length of a lens or the total performance of the optical system. This study focused on avoiding the shrinkage that the mold design allows for the optics. In making mold, the surface accuracy(P-V) of the lower and lower mold are $0.201{\mu}m\;and\;0.434{\mu}m$ respectively. A surface roughness(Ra) is below $0.02{\mu}m$ due to selecting the appropriate tools and using the injection molding machine in high degree. In injection molding of the plastic lens, mold temperature, resine temperature and injecting pressure are important process parameters. Injection molding process is carried out according to varying mold temperature and injecting pressure. As a result P-V(peak to valley) of spheric lens is $3.478{\mu}m$ and that of aspheric lens is $1.786{\mu}m$.

  • It is true that the plastic shrinkage is inevitable. Shrinkage rate in effect at the time of mold design will soon determine the size of the global product. Process for the shrinkage of the plastic that provides how made, yet it has identified a process for making the question whether the shrinkage that can be trusted, and by the experimental results were as follows: as shrinkage, see ISO but, according to circumstances the process can go to the agreement between the parties. shrinkage ratio of the pressure sensor installed in the specimen mold is essential, amount of pressure sensor is that it is appropriate approximately 2-3. proper holding pressure is a significant effect on shrinkage Mitch, so that the effect of selecting the contraction ratio data according to the appropriate holding pressure during mold making. shrinkage CAE analysis results are difficult to utilize in the mold-making chamber. Based on these results, it concluded by looking forward to the improved products produced shrinkage.

평판의 맞대기 이음 용접시의 가로수축에 관한 연구 (A study on the transverse shrinkage for the butt joint welding of plate)

  • The mechanism of transverse shrinkage for the butt joint weldig of plates is investigated in this paper. It was certified that the compressive plastic strain due to thermal expansion of materials during heating play an important role on the transverse shrinkage. It was also pointed out that the transverse shrinkage has to be treated with the samples of which the shapes are as close to real shapes of welded materials as possible, because the distribution of temperature and relative rigidity of materials during welding have great influence on the transverse shrinkage. The formulas for the calculation of transverse shrinkage were presented and the experiments were carried out in order to verify the formulas. the main results are as follows; 1. For the bead-on-plate welding, the transverse shrinkage in the begining parts of welding is the smallest, the end parts is next and the transverse shrinkage of mid section is the largest. 2. In bead-on-plate welding, the equations presented in this paper concerning transverse shrinkage coincide fairly well with the experimental values generally. 3. Transverse shrinkage increases generally as specific heat input per unit thickness increaes.

콘크리트의 Consistency 변화가 소성수축에 미치는 영향 (Influence on the Plastic Shrinkage of Concrete for a Varieties of Consistency)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate how the varieties of consistency of fresh concrete influence on the plastic shrinkage in dry condition. The test was conducted under the controlled chamber in which the temperature was kept at 25 ${\pm}$2$^{\circ}C$, the humidity 35 ${\pm}$3%, and the wind velocity 4.0 ${\pm}$0.5m/sec. The results obtained from the test are as follow. 1) The rate of evaporation was highest at 2-3 hour after casting, and decreased gradually. 2) The plastic shrinkage was increased as to the slump values. The shrinkage rate was very highest at 2-4 hour and hardly showed any changes after 6 hour. 3) The recommendation for good cloncrete is that slump value should be as low as possible in construction.

  • Plastic shrinkage cracking occurs at the exposed surfaces of freshly placed concrete due to consolidation of the concrete mass and rapid evaporation of water from the surface. This so-called shrinkage cracking is a major concern for concrete, especially for flat structural such as pavement, slabs for industrial factories and walls. This study has been performed to obtain the plastic shrinkage properties of hydrophilic fiber reinforced mortar and concrete. The results of tests of the hydrophilic fibers were compared with plain and polypropylene fibers. Test results indicated that hydrophilic poly vinylalcohol fiber reinforcement showed an ability to reduce the total crack area and maximum crack width significantly (as compared to plain and polypropylene fiber reinforcement).

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum length distribution of hybrid PVA(Poly vinyl alcohol) fiber. To produce blended PVA fiber length, first the length distribution of PVA fiber in the cement composites were identified in an experimental study based on simplex lattice design. Among the different length distributions investigated, fiber length was found to have statistically significant effect on plastic shrinkage cracking of cement composites. Subsequently, Complex analysis techniques were used to devise an experimental program that helped determine the optimum combinations of the selected fiber length distribution based on plastic shrinkage crack. The optimum blended PVA length ratio was 0.0146% 4mm fiber, 0.0060% 6-mm fiber, 0.0285% 8-mm fiber, and 0.0209% 12-mm fiber.

  • Recently, various concrete reinforcing fibers have been used to reduce the plastic shrinkage cracking which occurs before the concrete hardens. In this study, the physical properties of nylon fiber reinforced concrete such as slump, air content, compressive strength and tensile strength were investigated. In addition, the performance of nylon fiber in the plastic shrinkage cracking reduction of concrete has been estimated in comparison with polypropylene, poly vinyl alcohol fiber and cellulose fiber. Nylon fiber showed considerable advantages in terms of the workability of concrete and the plastic shrinkage cracking reduction of concrete compared with polypropylene fiber and cellulose fiber.

사출성형의 냉각 파라미터가 플라스틱 롤러의 수축에 미치는 영향 (The effect of injection molding cooling parameters on shrinkage of plastic roller)

  • A plastic roller for opening and closing the safety door of the injection molding machine was molded. The dimensional change of the measurement position of the roller was studied when the cooling time was applied differently among the molding conditions, and when the temperature of the coolant applied for mold cooling was also applied differently. Cooling times of 300 seconds and 400 seconds, hot and low-temperature coolant were applied. When the low-temperature coolant was applied, the measuring point of the roller shrank by 0.03 mm. However, when the high-temperature coolant was applied, the measuring point shrank by 0.3 mm. It was found that the application of low-temperature coolant among coolants was more suitable for the reference dimension of the molded article compared to the application of high-temperature coolant. Among the cooling water applied for the molding of plastic rollers, when high-temperature coolant is applied, the shrinkage rate measured immediately after ejection was smaller than when low-temperature coolant is applied. However, it was found that post shrinkage, which occurs over time, occurs much larger when high-temperature coolant is applied.
