This study is proposed to research the rural clothing, dietary and housing style of living in order to adapt a basis which is supposed to improve the quality of rural life. The sample in this research comes from Daehang 1 Li, Bubuk Myun, Miryang Gun, Kyungnam, and the results are as following; Generally rural housewives are unconcerned with fashion or its information, instead, they care for the casual wear which represents economic and active life style. Because of their financial problems, inpurchasing, they spend only a small money without plan. When they launder Clothes, they use washing bat and pannel which is easy to break fabrics, and they ineffectively use to dry it by hands twisting. The total food intake per person in a day is 1170.6gram, and all nutrients intakes except fat and calcium exceed the recommended dietary allowances. But 90.3% of the food intakes are plant food, and the average food items taken per day per househod is 11.9items which are not so various, which represents the shortage of the nutrient quality. Both the nutrition knowledge score and the food habit score are very low. Therefore, in order to enhance the quality of clothing and diet in rural life, they need to learn clothing and nutrition management for their enlightment. The most comprehensive type of farmhouse site plan take the shape of ㄱ and ㄴ, and for the most part main building is the floor plan which includes 3-4 spans in front of the change from the type of traditional house, throught the revised one, to the type of newly built house. In main building of the farmhouse, kitchen, Kunbang and Chakunbang are extended to their real space, and both utility and the bathroom are added to build, and Malu is transformed into the living space.

Hehage production, botanical composition and soil chemical characteristics were investigated Ween new pastures and old pastures during grazing seasons from May 1993 to October 1994, to find out the condition of pastures grazed by horses on Chdu. Dry matter yields between new pastures and old pastures were 8,757kglha and 7,486kglha respectively. Plant heights of new pastures were 17.4cm. compared with those of old pastures of 12.lcm. The botanical composition of new pastures was composed of grasses about 402, legumes 7~14%, others 18-30% and dead materials 18~ 25%. whiie there were grasses 12%, legumes 3~7%, others 65% and dead materials 15% in old pastures. The contents of crude protein, phosphoms and sodium were lower in old pastures(l3.30, 0.24 and 0.10% respectively) than those in new pastures(l5.47, 0.28 and 0.14% respectively). There was no difference in ADF, NDF, Ca, Mg and K content between the 2 kinds of pastures. The chemical characteristics of the 2 kinds of pastures was shown to be similar, except available phosphorus, comparing 8.18ppm in old pastures with 84.43ppm in new pastures. Although the herbage yield and the soil characteristics of old pastures were lower than those of new pastures, we suppose that the old pastures would be improved, if taken good care of by methods such as oversowing and sometimes applying fertilizer.

Recently plant extracts have obtained increased attention because of their health-related beneficial aspects. In this study, we evaluated anti-oxidation, whitening and anti-wrinkle of four different extracts obtained from Rubus coreanus (ethanol extracts of unripe, ripe fruits, leaves/stems, and roots). The ethanol extract of unripe fruits of Rubus coreanus generally showed stronger whitening and the anti-wrinkle activities than other extracts of Rubus coreanus. As a results, we knew that the ethanol extract of unripe Rubus coreanus fruit had mote possibility as a whitening and anti-wrinkle ingredient for skin care products.
As the modern society is rapidly developing and people become affluent in materials, many new chemical compounds in different forms of products (e.g., antibiotics, pesticides, detergents, personal care products and plastic goods) are produced, used, and disposed of to the environments. Some of them are persistently having a harmful impact on the environment and mimicking endocrine properties; in general they are present in the environment at low concentrations, so they are called organic pollutants. These organic micropollutants flow to sewage treatment plants via different routes. In this study, the generation characteristics, exposure pathways, detection levels, and environmental impacts of organic micropollutants were critically reviewed. In addition, currently available risk assessment methods and management systems for the compounds were reviewed. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), for example, has monitored organic micropollutants and set the monitoring and management of some of the compounds as a priority. To effectively manage organic micropollutants in sewer systems, therefore, we should first monitor organic micropollutants of potential concern and then make a watch list of specific substances systematically, as described in guidelines on listing water pollutants in industrial wastewater.

Purpose: Although Pokeweed intoxication is relatively less severe, there is little data on the clinical presentation of Pokeweed intoxication in Korea. This study examined the clinical aspects to provide basic data for evaluating Pokeweed intoxication. Methods: A retrospective study by a chart review was performed on 19 patients who ingested Pokeweed and presented to an academic emergency department with an annual census of 40,000 between March 2012 and May 2012. Results: Nineteen patients were identified. All patients were intoxicated unintentionally. The most common symptoms were vomiting with diarrhea and abdominal pain. The onset time varied, but occurs 30 minutes to 5 hours post ingestion of Pokeweed. All patients were discharged without fatal complications. Conclusion: Compared to previous reports, most pokeweed poisoning patients complain of gastrointestinal symptoms. Supportive care is the mainstay of the management of pokeweed intoxication. All symptoms were resolved over a 24 to 48 hour period.

Portland cement production-1.5billion tonnes yearly worldwide-contributes substantially to global atmospheric pollution($\sim$7% of total of CO$_2$ emissions). Attempts to increase the utilization of fly ash, a by-products from thermal power plant to partially replace the cement in concrete are gathering momentum. But most of fly ash is currently dumped in landfills, thus creating a threat to the environment. Therefore, In this study, influence of curing temperature(30, 60, 90$^{\circ}$C) on the strength of properties fly ash based cement ZERO mortar was investigate, measured a weight change and pH change according to each care of curing temperature. The test results that a curing at 90$^{\circ}$C is appropriate in case of the high strength concrete is required in the early-age of the curing and 60$^{\circ}$C is efficient for the case of requiring high strength at age 28 days. Furthermore pH variation and value of compressive strength are judged to correlate but change of weight is not the case.
Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate the worker's job stress status in the workplace of a local area. Method: Data were collected from October to December, 2007. The subjects were 208 workers at 2 work sites in Busan Metropolitan area, who were examined using Job-Strain-Model Questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS 12.0 Win Program to get the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, ANOVA. Results: The results of this study were as follows: In the mean sub-factors job stress level, the mean of job demand was $28.7{\pm}4.4$(median 29.0), the mean of job discretion was $54.7{\pm}8.2$(median 54.0), the mean of social support was $21.8{\pm}2.9$(range:8-32). This study's subjects were appeared as active group with relatively higher score of job demand and job discretion than the average value of those. There was no statistically significant difference of general characteristics among the different job strain groups. There was statistically significant difference with of social supports among the different job strain groups. Conclusion: In conclusion, the subjects of this study's were active group. Thus, it is suggested that it is be necessary to repeated the education of the job task work for active group with high score of job demand and job discretion.

Livestock manure is an important source of nutrients for crop production. However, farmers typically do not know the exact nutrient values for livestock manure. In many instances, manure has been viewed as a waste, and as a result it is applied close to the source resulting in over application of nutrients. Thus, the goal of nutrient application has often been applied to reduce the application expense rather than to maximize crop income. This results in wasted money and potentially negative impacts on water quality. Several livestock manure management scenarios were created based on agronomic nutrient requirements using the Utilization of Animal Manure as a Plant Nutrient (AMANURE) software to investigate water quality impacts with the National Agricultural Pesticide Risk Analysis (NAPRA) WWW modeling system. Application of manure at agronomic rates can result in high nitrate-nitrogen losses for some soil types, especially when applied in late fall. The application of manure at an agronomic rate does not necessarily equate to adequate water quality protection, and farmers must take care applying manure at agronomic rates, because nitrate-nitrogen loss potential varies spatially and temporarily. Nutrient loss probability maps for Indiana at 5%, 10%, 25%, and 50% values were created to demonstrate potential water quality impacts when livestock manure is applied to cropland at agronomic rates. The NAPRA WWW system coupled with AMANURE can be used to identify site-specific livestock manure management plans that are environmentally sound and agronomically appropriate.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception and utilization of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) for diabetic patients in Busan. The subjects were 227 patients at two general hospitals (over 400 bed). This study was performed through the interviewing process using questionnaires conducted from January to April, 2010. Of a total of subjects, 109 patients (48.0%) had taken CAM at least one time. The patients used CAM recognized that they were 'auxiliary medicines' (39.4%), 'supplementary health foods' (32.1%) and 'medicines' (19.3%), but inexperienced patients perceived them as 'supplementary health foods' (29.6%), 'unscientific treatment' (22.6%) and 'medicines' (20.2%), It was significantly different between two groups of patients (p < 0.001). The number of CAM types used for the patients was 51. The CAM types were plant foods (64.3%), dietary supplement (23.6%) and animal diets (12.1%). The patients used an average of 5.9 different kinds of CAM and an average of 3.8 years them and paid \93,345 per month. The patients with diabetic complications and for longer morbidity periods used CAM for significantly (p < 0.05) longer periods. The mean effectiveness scores of the patients used CAM were 3.31/5.00 for efficacy satisfaction, 3.58/5.00 for fewer side effects compared to those of oral drugs, 3.60/5.00 for psychological stability, 3.81/5.00 for easiness to use, and 3.06/5.00 for economic satisfaction. Of the patients that used CAM, 55.9% did not consult with doctors about CAM. More than two-thirds of the patients (77.1%) did not feel the need to consult with doctors.
