  • As cities face increasing problems such as aging, environmental pollution and growth limits, we have been trying to incorporate sustainability into urban planning and related policies. However, it is very difficult to generate a 'sustainable spatial plans' because there are trade-offs among environmental, society, and economic values. This is a kind of non-linear problem, and has limitations to be solved by existing qualitative expert knowledge. Many researches from abroad have used the meta heuristic optimization algorithms such as Genetic Algorithms(GAs), Simulated Annealing(SA), Ant Colony Optimization(ACO) and so on to synthesize competing values in spaces. GAs is the most frequently applied theory and have been known to produce 'good-enough plans' in a reasonable time. Therefore we collected the research on 'spatial optimization model based GAs' and analyzed in terms of 'study area', 'optimization objective', 'fitness function', and 'effectiveness/efficiency'. We expect the results of this study can suggest that 'what problems the spatial optimization model can be applied to' and 'linkage possibility with existing planning methodology'.

An Integrated Mathematical Model for Supplier Selection

  • Extensive research has been conducted on supplier evaluation and selection as a strategic and crucial component of supply chain management in recent years. However, few articles in the previous literature have been dedicated to the use of fuzzy inference systems as an aid in decision-making. Therefore, this essay attempts to demonstrate the application of this method in evaluating suppliers, based on a comprehensive framework of qualitative and quantitative factors besides the effect of gradual coverage distance. The purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of the numerous measures and metrics in a multi-objective optimization problem of the supply chain network design with the aim of managing the allocation of orders by coordinating the production lines to satisfy customers' demand. This work presents a dynamic non-linear programming model that examines the important aspects of the strategic planning of the manufacturing in supply chain. The effectiveness of the configured network is illustrated using a sample, following which an exact method is used to solve this multi-objective problem and confirm the validity of the model, and finally the results will be discussed and analyzed.

의사우도추정법에 의한 분산함수를 고려한 수위-유량 관계 곡선 산정법 개선 (Improvement of Rating Curve Fitting Considering Variance Function with Pseudo-likelihood Estimation)

  • 수위-유량 관계 곡선을 나타내는 곡선식에 포함되어 있는 매개변수의 추정을 위해 많이 사용되는 로그선형 회귀분석은 잔차의 비등분산성(heteroscedasticity)을 고려하지 못하므로 본 연구에서는 의사우도추정법(pseudolikelihood estimation, P-LE)에 의해 분산함수를 추정하고 이와 함께 회귀계수를 추정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 이 과정에서 제시된 회귀잔차를 최소화하기 위하여 SA(simulated annealing)이라는 전역 최적화 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 또한 수위-유량 관계 곡선은 단면 등의 영향으로 인해 구간에 따라 각각 다르게 구축되어져야 하므로 이를 보다 객관적으로 판단하고 분리 위치를 추정하기 위하여 Heaviside 함수를 의사우도함수에 포함시켜 결과를 추정하도록 하였으며, 2개의 구간을 가지는 유량자료를 이용하여 제시된 방법의 합리성을 통계적으로 실험하였다. 이와 같이 통계적 실험을 통해 제시된 방법들이 기존 방법과 비교하여 가질 수 있는 장점을 파악하였으며, 제시된 방법들을 금강유역 5개 지점에서 대해 수행하여 효율성을 검증하였다.

UBA-Sot : An Approach to Control and Team Strategy in Robot Soccer

  • In this study, we introduce the main ideas on the control and strategy used by the robot soccer team of the Universidad de Buenos hires, UBA-Sot. The basis of our approach is to obtain a cooperative behavior, which emerges from homogeneous sets of individual behaviors. Except for the goalkeeper, the behavior set of each robot contains a small number of individual behaviors. Basically, the individual behaviors have the same core: to move from the initial to-ward the target coordinates. However, these individual behaviors differ because each one has a different precondition associated with it. Each precondition is the combination of a number of elementary ones. The aim of our approach is to answer the following questions: How can the robot compute the preconditions in time\ulcorner How are the control actions defined, which allow the robot to move from the initial toward the final coordinates\ulcorner The way we cope with these issues is, on the one hand, to use ball and robot predictors and, on the other hand, to use very fast planning. Our proposal is to use planning in such a way that the behavior obtained is closer to a reactive than a deliberative one. Simulations and experiments on real robots, based on this approach, have so far given encouraging results.

혼합정수 프로그래밍 기법을 이용한 진보된 Time-Cost Trade-Off Model (Advanced Time-Cost Trade-Off Model using Mixed Integer Programming)

  • 공기비용 트레이드오프 모델은 건설프로젝트의 계획 및 관리에 있어 매우 중요하다. TCTO 모델은 연속모델과 분절모델 두 가지 모델이 개발되어왔다. 그러나 한 종류의 모델만을 사용하여 현실적인 공기단축 시나리오를 적용하기에는 한계가 있다. 이에 TCTO 의 연속적인 모델과, 분절모델을 결합하여 진보된 모델을 제시하였으며 또한, 비선형 관계, 인센티브 및 지체보상금 고려가 가능하도록 TCTO모델에 포함되어 있다. 이런 특성들은 건설프로젝트에 적용가능하다. 6개의 activities로 구성된 CPM 네트워크는 연구에서 제안된 모델을 설명하기 위해 사용되었다. 제시한 모델은 모든 제약 조건을 만족시키는 최적 스케쥴 계산이 가능하다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서 제시한 진보된 TCTO모델은 기존의 모델보다 최적화된 공기단축이 가능하다.
