국내 유통중인 원료물질 및 공정부산물의 물리화학적 및 방사선적 특성 데이터베이스 구축 (Establishment of the Physicochemical and Radiological Database of Raw Materials and By-Products in Domestic Distribution)

  • 국내 유통중인 다양한 형태의 원료물질 또는 공정부산물들에 대한 물리적, 화학적 및 방사선적 특성을 평가하기 위해 약 220여 개, 총 16 종의 표본 시료를 선정하였다. 해당 시료들에 대하여 $LaBr_3$ 섬광검출기를 이용한 에너지 스펙트럼 측정과 에너지 분산형 X-선 형광 분광기를 이용한 U, Th, K와 물질의 주요 성분 분석을 수행하였다. 그리고 HPGe 검출기를 이용하여 $^{234}Th$, $^{234m}Pa$$^{214}Bi$ 등의 우라늄 붕괴계열 핵종들과 $^{228}Ac$, $^{212}Pb$$^{208}Tl$ 등의 토륨 붕괴계열 핵종들 그리고 $^{40}K$ 등의 방사능농도를 분석함으로써 원료물질 및 공정부산물의 특성에 관한 기초자료를 수집하였다. 추가적으로 ROI구간별 계수율과 원소성분함량, 방사능농도와 같은 특성변수들 간의 상관관계를 분석함으로써 스크리닝 장비를 이용한 방사능 농도 분포 유추 가능성을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 구축된 특성 데이터베이스는 천연방사성핵종 분석을 위한 절차 및 방법을 수립하는데 유용한 정보를 제공하고, 천연방사성핵종 분석에 대한 정확성 및 재현성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

미세다공성 Biphasic calcium phosphate ceramics의 골이식 대체재로서의 기본특성에 대한 비교연구 (Comparative study on the physicochemical properties and cytocompatibility of microporous biphasic calcium phosphate ceramics as a bone graft substitute)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical properties and cytocompatibility of microporous, spherical biphasic calcium phosphate(BCP) ceramics with a 60/40 $hydroxyapatite/{\beta}$ -tricalcium phosphate weight ratio for application as a bone graft substitute. Materials and Methods : Microporous, spherical BCP granules(MGSB) were prepared and their basic characteristics were compared with commercially available BCP(MBCP; Biomatlante, France) and deproteinized bovine bone mineral(Bio-Oss; GBistlich-Pharma, Switzerland, BBP; Oscotec. Korea), Their physicochemical properties were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method. Cell viability and proliferation of MC3T3-El cells on different graft materials were evaluated. Results : MGSB granules showed a chemical composition and crystallinity similar with those in MBCP, they showed surface structure characteristic of three dimensionally, well-interconnected micropores. The results of MTT assay showed increases in cell viablity with increasing incubation times. At 4d of incubation, MGSB, MBCP and BBP showed similar values in optical density, but Bio-Oss exhibited significantly lower optical density compared to other bone substitutes(p <0,05). MGSB showed significantly greater cell number compared to other bone substitutes at 3, 5, and 7d of incubation(p <0,05), which were similar with those in polystyrene culture plates. Conclusion: These results indicated the suitable physicochemical properties of MGSB granules for application as an effective bone graft substitute. which provided compatible environment for osteoblast cell growth. However, further detailed studies are needed to confirm its biological effects on bone formation in vivo.

  • We give pressure stimulation into organic thin films and then manufacture a device under the accumulation condition that the state surface pressure is 30[mN/m]. LB layers of Arac. acid deposited by LB method were deposited onto slide glass as Y-type film. The physicochemical properties of the LB films were examined by UV absorption spectrum, SEM and AFM. The structure of manufactured device is Au/arachidic acid/Al. the number of accumulated layers are 3~9. Also. we then examined of the MIM device by means of I-V. The I-V characteristic of the device is measured from -3 to +3[V]. The insulation property of a thin film is better as the distance between electrodes is larger.

대두 Cheese의 제조와 그의 일반 성분 및 수응도에 관한 연구 (Preparation of various soy cheese and their physicochemical and sensory characteristics)

  • For the manufacture of soybean cheese, curds were made from soy milk using either lactic starter or CaCl$_2$and ripened for 3 weeks. When papain was added during ripening, the amout of soluble protein increased. The yields of 3 soybean cheese were 76~88%, indicating that considerable loss of soy protein did not occur during the processing. During the period of ripening the change of moisture content was about 1 n. Total acidity of 3 soy cheese increased, demonstrating the production of lactic acid through lactic fermentation. Texture determined by Instron showed that 3 soy cheese had their own characteristic texture profile curve and that the cheese without papain treatment received the highest textural parameters. 3 manufactured soy cheese received 3-4 (good-very good) sensory scores in appearance, flavor and texture. General acceptibility of 3 cheese were evaluated as desirable or very desirable.

부추의 첨가가 식빵의 물리화학적 및 관능적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Leek(Allium tuberosum) Powder on Physicochemical and Sensory Characteristics of Breads)

  • Physiological and sensory characteristics of breads prepared with the flour substituted with leek powder were evaluated. Leek powder contained 34.6% total dietary fiber. Substitution of wheat flour with 2% and 3% of leek powder decreased loaf volume by 13 and 27%, respectively. Moisture content was slightly increased and staling rate during storage at 25oC decreased in breads with leek powder. The addition of leek powder slighty increased hardness of fresh bread, but did not affect hardness of stored breads. Breads with leek powder turned into greenish and had characteristic flavor. Nontheless, no significant differences were observed between control and that with 2% of leek powder in sensory evaluation.

Physicochemical Characteristic of Ultrafine Sparassis crispa(cauliflower mushroom) Powder

  • In this study, Sparassis crispa(cauliflower mushroom), which is rich in beta-glucan, was pulverized using ultrafine grinding technology for its potential utilization as a diverse food ingredient. The physical and antioxidant properties of cauliflower mushroom powder were evaluated at various grinding times. The results showed that as the grinding time of cauliflower mushroom increased, the average particle size significantly decreased (p<0.05). Additionally, the water-holding capacity, swelling capacity, and water solubility index of cauliflower mushroom increased significantly(p<0.05). Based on the analysis mentioned above, cauliflower mushroom prepared as a superfine powder for 5 minutes exhibited superior physical and chemical properties as well as antioxidant characteristics and is expected to be widely used in various foods.

국내산 조전분의 이화학적 특성 (Physicochemical Properties of Domestic Millet Starches)

  • 국내산 메조와 차조로부터 전분을 분리, 정제하고 그 이화학적 특성을 구명하였다. 메조전분과 차조전분의 blue value는 각각 0.69, 0.32였으며, 아밀로스 함량은 각각 28.0%, 8.0%였다. 메조전분과 차조전분의 수분결합력은 88.1%와 80.0%였고, 분입자의 크기는 $5{\sim}13\;{\mu}$$7{\sim}17\;{\mu}$였다. 60, $70^{\circ}C$의 호화온도에 비해 80, $90^{\circ}C$의 호화온도에서 괭윤도가 현저히 증대되어 $90^{\circ}C$에서의 메조전분과 차조전분의 팽윤도는 각각 13.58, 18.50%였다. 한편, 용해도도 호화온도 상승에 따라 증가하였다. 0.1% 전분현탁액의 광투과도는 메조전분에 있어서는 $70^{\circ}C$이상, 차조전분에 있어 서는 $65^{\circ}C$이상에서 증가하기 시작했다. 한편, 호화개시온도와 최대점도는 메조전분의 경우 $71.7{\sim}73.7^{\circ}C$, $300{\sim}460\;B.U.$였고, 차조전분에 있어서는 $69.0{\sim}69.3^{\circ}C$, $800{\sim}1080\;B.U.$였다.

테녹시캄의 피부 흡수율을 증진시키기 위한 에탄올아민염의 제조 (Preparation of Tenoxicam Salt with Ethanolamine to Enhance the Percutaneous Absorption)

  • The aim of this work was to prepare tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt with improved physicochemical properties for transdermal application. Tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt was prepared in methylene chloride and its physicochemical properties were investigated by DSC and FT-lR. The broad peak of tenoxicam around 3600-3200 $cm^-1$ was shifted to lower wavenumber and more broadened. The characteristic endothermic melting peak of tenoxicam appeared at $223^{\circ}C$. The melting peak of tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt was shifted to $159^{\circ}C$. In contrast to relatively small difference in the partition coefficients of tenoxicam and the tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt, large difference in aqueous solubility was observed. $Crovol^{\circledR}$ PK4O (PEG-12 palm kernel glycerides) provided the highest skin flux for both compounds. The order of the enhancing effect of the various vehicles tested was similar for tenoxicam and tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt, which indicated that their enhancing mechanism for tenoxicam and tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt is similar. Tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt had a higher skin flux than tenoxicam by 1.2- to 31.7-fold, depending on the vehicles used. It is suggested that the vehicles with medium HLB value, 1 double bond, and lower ethylene oxide chain length have a better ability to modify the permeability of the stratum corneum and to promote the effective penetration of tenoxicam and tenoxicam-ethanolamine salt.

단백소재 첨가물로서의 효소분해 대두 단백질의 특성 (Characteristic Properties of Enzymatically Hydrolyzed Soy Proteins for the Use in Protein Supplements)

  • 단백질 분해효소를 이용하여 대두 단백질 가수분해물을 제조하여 물리화학적인 특성과 응용 가능성을 조사하였다. 단백질 함량이 60%이고, 가수분해도가 50%인 탈지대두박 분해물은 조미 소재의 기본 베이스로 사용하기에 적합하였고 이를 마일러드 반응시키고 조미하여 풍미를 향상시킨 가수분해물은 효소분해 간장 및 복합조미료의 원료로 사용 가능하였다. 대두분리단백의 가수분해물은 단백질 함량이 85%이며 평균 분자량이 250내외로서 환자식, 유아식, 스포츠 영양 등의 저엘러지 단백질원으로 적합하였다. 효소분해HVP의 염 함량은 2%이내로서 다른 원료와의 배합 사용량에 제한을 주지 않으면서 고 단백 제품의 개발을 용이하게 하였다. 대두박 분해의 부산물로 30%의 단백질 함량과 21%의 섬유소를 갖는 부산물이 생성되었으며 이는 식이섬유원, 보습제 또는 중량제로서의 응용 가능성이 있었다.

토양 보전 및 관리를 위한 표토와 심토의 물리화학적 특성 비교 (Comparison of Physicochemical Characteristics of Topsoil and Subsoil for Soil Conservation and Management)

  • 본 연구는 토양 보전을 위한 표토 특성 분석 및 심토의 표토촉진화가 목적으로써 지질별 표토와 심토의 물리화학적 특성을 비교하고 정량적 차이를 분석하였다. 토양 시료는 암종별로 총 102개 지역에서 204개 시료를 채취하였으며 입도분석, 함수율, 단위중량, X-선 형광분석, X-선 회절분석에 대한 실험을 수행하고 표토와 심토에 대해 분석하였다. 분석결과 표토와 심토의 물리적 특성 차이가 확인되었으며 표토의 풍화변질지수가 심토보다 높게 나타났다. 이는 표토가 심토보다 풍화에 직접적인 영향을 더 많이 받기 때문에 점토광물의 함량이 높게 나타나는 것으로 판단되며 특히 버미큘라이트의 경우 풍화에서 발생하는 최종산물이므로 표토에서 특히 많이 나타난다.
