화곡류 종실의 토코페롤과 토코트리에놀 연구현황과 전망 (Tocopherols and Tocotrienols in Cereal Grains)

  • Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in eight different forms, which are $\alpha$, $\beta$, $\gamma$, and $\delta$ tocopherol, and $\alpha$, $\beta$, $\gamma$, and $\delta$ tocotrienol. Tocopherols and tocotrienols are important antioxidant in foods, feeds and their raw materials, where they scavenge lipid radicals. Each form has its own biological activity, the measure of potency or functional use in the body. Antioxidants such as vitamin E act to protect cells against the effects of free radicals, which are potentially damaging by-products of the body's metabolism. Free radicals can cause cell dam-age that may contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease and cancer, The content of tocopherols and tocotrienols vary depending on the environmental condition such as growing regions, temperature, crops and varieties. This report deals with chemical and physical properties and extends to their nutritional and health effect on the tocopherols and tocotrienols in cereal grains.

  • The system is defined as groups which are operative, dependentive, configurational of all each others. In oner to develop the AGT system efficiently, the system engineering process has to be organized It will be started by the configuration of WBS and PBS. A WBS is a method of naming and organizing all of the wok elements to be done for a projects. It completely defines the projects, is normally prepared in an hierarchical during design and project execution. A number, or alpha-numeric identification, is assigned to every WBS elements. Also a hierachy of system physical components should be established. It named to PBS, which is a method of naming and organizing all of the physicals elements to be done far a projects. Therefore we will propose the WBS and PBS to fit for AGT system in this reports.

  • We experienced an improved case of Jungkijeung assuming an aspect of pseudo seizure with Oriental medical treatment. For diagnosis of Jungkijeung(中氣證), first of all, we must take one's physicals actively using occidental diagnostic machinery and tools, In result, we can diagnose Jungkijeung(中氣證) in case of normal. In treatment of Jungkijeung(中氣證), it is considered that oriental psychotherapy and oriental medical treatment(herb-med, acupuncture, etc.) are more effective than occidental.

Effect of Component Factors of Innovation Clusters on the Corporate Business Activity: The Moderating Effect of Financial Support

  • Globalization and knowledge-based economy have increased the importance of local areas as the units of global competition. Therefore, the meaning of localities has been emphasized as the core value of economic activities. In this context, innovation cluster has been recognised and emphasized as effective policy measure for innovation. Therefore, most countries have been trying to develop innovation clusters with their expectation for a rapid growth of economy. Nevertheless, there have been minimal empirical researches on innovation cluster. Therefore, for suggesting implications that activation factors of innovation cluster are to have an effect on tenant's business activities, this study conducted a literature review for the theories of regional innovation system(RIS) and innovation cluster. As a result, the activation factors of innovation cluster were classified into institutional, physicals, and social factor. The case of Gyeonggi province's innovation cluster policy was examined for an empirical analysis. Data were analyzed using ordered logistic regression. The results were as follows:First, Institutional and Infra factors had a positive influence on firms' business activities in every empirical test, so they were the most important activation factors of innovation cluster. Second, regarding the interactive effects of financial support, the interactive effects between financial support and Infra factor had a positive influence on the firms' business activities, according to the result of the empirical test.

모유량 부족증후군의 잠재요인 분석 (Potential Determinant Factors of Insufficient Milk Supply Syndrome)

  • In Korea, breastfeeding practice has decreased since 1980's. According to the literature review, insufficient milk supply(IMS) is a major reason found by mothers for early termination of breastfeeding practice. Insufficient milk supply syndrome cannot be explained simply. IMS is a complex phenomenon that has never been adequately investigated in Korea. Using the modified IMS conceptual framework by Hill and Humenick(1989), a study was conducted at one well baby clinic located in metropolitan hospital. Approval was obtained from head of nursing service and employees ill the well baby clinic. The study sample was to restricted mothers who initiated breastfeeding and still continuously breastfeeding (n=52) and mothers who initiated breastfeeding but terminated at the time of data collection (n=39). Factor analysis suggested that Potential Determinant factors, maternal psychologic factors were : sociocultural factors, breastfeeding behaviors, breastfeeding frequency, social support, maternal education and prenatal preparation, physical and sibling support, maternal confidence, and maternal physicals which accounted for 71.12% of the variance. Using discriminant analysis those potential determinant factors predicted 72.49% of the cases accurately. These findings of research suggest that the modified IMS model is valid. But additional variables which consider Korea sociocultural factors may need to be included in future studies to determine and develop an IMS model for Korea.

  • The reliability and accuracy of the information on control rod position are very important to the reactor safety and the design of the core protection system. A survey on the RSPT(Reed Switch Position Transmitter) type control rod position indicator system and its actual implementation in the existing nuclear power plants in Korea was performed first. The control rod position indicator having the high performance for SMART was developed on the basis of RSPT technology identified through the survey. The arrangement of permanent magnet and reed switches is the most important procedure in the design of control rod position indicator. The hysteresis of reed switches is one of the important factors in a repeat accuracy of control rod position indicator as well. This paper investigates efficiency of the magnetic flux concentrator and the hysteresis using FEM and verified differences in physicals characteristics by comparing the results of FEM and those of the experiment. As a result, it is shown that the characteristics of prototype control rod position indicator have a good agreement with the results of FEM.

현대섬유예술에 나타난 몸의 확장성과 인체기호로서의 상호 텍스트성 - 아바카노비치의 아바칸을 중심으로 - (Extensibility of Human body Inter-textuality as Body-signs in Contemporary fiber Arts - Abakanowiz Abakan -)

  • Body has been high-lightened as one of the most important theme since the philosophy and the arts are focused on it in the late 20 century. Resurgence of interests in human body has been based on the skepticism on rapid digitalization and do-materialization currently undergoing in electronic media environments. Artists have been endeavoring more and more to find a synthesis which links the conceptual and the sensuous in their works as digitalization gets faster and faster. The Bodily-oriented art uses its visceral qualities, either literally or metaphorically, to engage our total being, not just our mental consciousness, in building a sensuous, evocative statement. Its transcendent ideas are inter- mixed with the fabric of the world. We are touched by this art not only because we understand it cognitively, but because we "feel"it. These characteristics of textile arts caused gradual increase of soft-sculpture works using textiles and implies possibilities of inter-grade of physical and mental world. Ann Hamilton, Magdalena Abakanowiz, Folly Apfelbaum and Pallid Dougherty are, for example, related to the fiber arts. It would be of worth to study the characteristics of contemporary faber-art works, especially done by Abakanowiz who has been regarded as a dominant pioneer in the contemporary fiber arts from the viewpoint of inter-grade of the physicals and the mental. This paper, therefore, deals with the Abaknowiz′works in the context of human body and body-signs. Life and works might be classified into 5 stages; first, learning period since her birth in 1930, second, creation period of Abakan, third, remodelling period of Abakan, fourth, composition and dissolution period of Abakan and the last and fifth, new transformation period of Abakan. ′Abakan′through her whole life as an artist has been a plastic language and based ultimately on external human body but in various materials and forms.

아바카노비치에 있어서 신체 기호의 문제 -아바칸Abakans과 몸의 확장을 중심으로 (A Study on the problem of body-sign in Abakanowicz's works : On Abakans and Extension of body)

It would be of worth to study the characteristics of contemporary fiber-art works, especially done by Abakanowiz who has been regarded as a dominant pioneer in the contemporary fiber-arts from the viewpoint of inter-grade of the physicals and the mental. This paper, therefore, deals with the Abaknowiz' works in the context of human body and body-signs. Life and works might be classified into 5 stages: first, learning period since her birth in 1930, second, creation period of Abakans, third, remodelling period of Abakans, fourth, composition and dissolution period of Abakans and the last and fifth, new transformation period of Abakans. 'Abakans' through her whole life as an artist have been a plastic language and based ultimately on external human body but in various materials and forms. Abakan as a human-sign uses the past experiences and the texts of the other world in mixed and overlapped forms. Life-size Abakans by Abaknowiz can be easily understood as Abakanowiz herself and her Polish ancestor at the same time. The neuter Abakans with mashed face and obscure body is a expressive figure of coexisting world with opposite concepts like war and ideology, anxiety and freedom, man and woman, and etc. Human body as body-sign is an extensive image has existed since our forefathers and overlapped with the inter textual and the popular images. 'Abakans' that is our world and inner-self at the same time might be a window through which she tries to show what the world is.

열수 및 유기산 처리가 '대보' 박피밤의 저장 시 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Mild Heat and Organic Acid Treatments on the Quality of 'Daebo' Peeled Chestnut during Storage)

  • '대보' 박피밤의 갈변 및 품질에 화학물질(ascorbic acid, citric acid, calcium chloride: 1% 용액)과 물리적(진공포장, $50^{\circ}C$ 증류수) 처리가 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 박피밤 색도의 L값은 모든 처리구에서 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타낸 반면, ${\Delta}E$값은 점차 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 일반포장 처리구가 급격히 색 변화가 일어나는데 비해 화학 및 물리적 처리구는 완만한 변화를 보였다. 특히 calcium chloride 처리구는 색 변화가 거의 일어나지 않았다. 관능적 품질평가 결과, 상품성은 일반포장 처리구가 10일간 유지되었던 반면 화학 및 물리적 처리구들은 35일간 상품성이 유지되었다. 따라서 '대보' 박피밤의 화학 및 물리적 처리는 갈변을 억제시킴으로써 박피밤의 관능적 품질유지에 효과적이였고, 특히 1% calcium chloride 침지 후 진공포장하는 것이 박피밤의 품질유지와 갈변 억제에 가장 효과적인 것으로 판단되었다.

농산 부산물을 이용한 애느타리 및 버들송이의 배지재료 활용 효과 (Bottle Cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus and Agrocybe aegerita using Agricultural by-product)

  • 농산부산물첨가배지 개발로서 이화학적 특성은 콩비지첨가구에서 유기물, 질소, 탄소 함량이 높았으며 전처리구의 pH, 유기물, 질소, 탄소 함량은 버섯 생육시 적합한 것으로 판단되었다. 애느타리 관행재배시 병당(850cc)에서 갓의수 20개 72g에 비하여 콩비지 10% 첨가구는 갓의 수 12개 수량 77g으로 7% 증수, 귤껍질 10% 첨가구는 갓의 수 21개 수량 11% 증수되었다. 버들송이 관행재배시 병당 (850cc) 수량 98g 대비 한약박을 제외한 모든 농산부산물 첨가해서 증수되었으나 그중 콩비지 10% 첨가구가 수량 113g으로 15% 증수되었다. 저비용 고효율 농산부산물 버섯 배지개발로써 농가경영비 절감과 고품질 버섯 생산으로 농가소득에 기여할 것이다.
