  • In this paper, physical properties of planting concrete using Recycled aggregates made with demolished concrete and construction wastes are investigated. According to the test results. It shows that recycled aggregates made with demolished concrete and construction wastes have low physical properties compared with crushed stone. But, recycled aggregates made with construction wastes shows better performance in absorption ratio, unit weight and thermal conductivity than crushed stone. According it is thought that they are available for being applied to planting concrete considering the sides of efficient recycling of construction wastes and saving the manufacturing cost.

  • In order to improve the physical properties of concrete used for treatment and disposal container of low-and intermediate-level radioactive wastes, OPC (ordinary portland cement), ACPC (asphalt coated portland cement) and EPC(epoxy-portland cement) concrete specimens were prepared, and the physical properties of each concrete specimen were tested. According to the experimental results, EPC concrete showed better physical properties than ACPC and OPC concrete, however, ACPC concrete proved to be a best material for treatment and disposal container of radwastes in view of economic aspect and physical properties.

  • This research is to present experimental materials model of high strength concrete for prediction of fire safety of structural members based on physical properties of materials during heating up to 800$^{circ}C$. The following conclusions are drawn from this study. First of all, between 100 to 200 $^{circ}C$, the physical models of concrete such as specific heat and thermal conductivity, show visible degradation, regardless of concrete strength. Second, between 300 to 600$^{circ}C$, the physical models of the 29MPa and 49MPa concrete show degradation continually at these temperatures. Finally, beyond 600$^{circ}C$, the physical models of 49MPa strength concrete show larger degradation than 29MPa strength concrete due to rise of pore pressure and melting of the interface between aggregate and cement paste.

  • The Durability of Concrete Structure is serverely degraded due to mainly carbonation, sulfate attack and chloride ion diffusion in concrete. The ultimate purpose of this study is to obtain how much the durability of Concrete Structure is improved according to the variation of physical properties in concrete or the frequency of surface coating on concrete. Where, variation of physical properties is a water-cement ratio or amount of air. The experiments are the chliride ion diffusion test, the lapid corrosion test, the lapid carbonation test, the test on resistance to freezing and thawing. Finally, this study shows that the effect by the surface coating method is better than the variation of physical properties in concrete.

  • This paper intended to evaluate the applicability of drying shrinkage reducing superplasticizer (DSRA) by investigating physical properties of concrete using DSRA, The application of flowing concrete method exhibited a less loss of slump and air content with time than those of conventional concrete and had small bleeding. Flowing concrete had larger compressive strength than base and conventional concrete by as much as $3\~5\%$. It also had less drying shrinkage by as much as $20\%$ compared with conventional concrete. This is due to the coupled effect of reduced water content and aqueous type expansive admixture. On the other hand, neutralization depth of flowing concrete showed greater than conventional concrete.

  • Since the mechanism of chloride diffusion and its ratio in concrete depend on structural conditions and concrete as a micro-structure, if these are analyzed quantitatively, the long-term ageing of structures can be predicted. Although, a quantitative analysis of concrete micro-structure, in which the results are affected by various parameters, is very difficult, this can be done indirectly by the durability test of concrete. In this study, the compressive strength, void ratio and air permeability of concrete. In this study, the compressive strength, void ratio and air permeability of concrete are chosen as the parameters in concrete durability test, and these effects on test results are analysed according to changes of mixing properties. The relationships between parameters and chloride diffusion velocity is used for prediction models of chloride diffusion. The developed prediction models for the chloride diffusion according to mixing and physical properties, can be used to estimate the service life and corrosion initiation of reinforcing bars in marine structures.

  • During the past decades, development of reinforcing materials caused a revolution in the structure of high strength and high performance cement-based concrete. Among the most important and exciting reinforcing materials, Steel Fiber (SF) becomes a widely used in the recent years. The main reason for addition of SF is to enhance the toughness and tensile strength and limit development and propagation of cracks and deformation characteristics of the SF blended concrete. Basically this technique of strengthening the concrete structures considerably modifies the physical and mechanical properties of plain cement-based concrete which is brittle in nature with low flexural and tensile strength compared to its intrinsic compressive strength. This paper presents an overview of the work carried out on the use of SF as reinforcement in cement-based concrete matrix. Reported properties in this study are fresh properties, mechanical and durability of the blended concretes.

  • The physical, mechanical, water purification and temperature properties of fiber reinforced porous hwang-toh green roof concrete have been evaluated in this study. The effect of the depending on replacement ratio of blast furnace slag to cement was investigated such that the replacement ratio is varied to 0 % and 30 %. Also, the replacement ratios of hwang-toh were 0, 20 and 30 %. The polyvinyl alcohol fiber was used for the reinforcing fiber. A series of pH test, unit weight, void ratio, compressive strength, after purification and variation of temperature test have been performed to evaluate the performance, water purification effect and temperature properties of the fiber reinforced porous hwang-toh green roof concrete. The test results indicate that the physical and mechanical properties of fiber reinforced porous hwang-toh green roof concrete is affected by the replacement ratio of the blast furnace slag and hwang-toh contents. Results of purifying water showed that the water purification effect of porous hwang-toh green roof concrete is about 40 %. Also, the temperature properties test results indicate the green roof blocks using fiber reinforced porous hwang-toh green roof concrete have insulation and temperature reduction effect.

  • This experimental study is the fundamental report to use the ternary concrete. This study performed to know physical properties of ternary concrete according to replacement ratio of pozzolanic admixtures and curing temperature conjugation. To investigate Strength development properties of according to replacement ratio of pozzolanic admixtures, both fly ash replaced on portland cement in 5, 10 and 15% weight ratios and blast furnace slag replaced on the portland cement in 5, 15, 20, 30 and 40% weigt ratios was used. Also this is studied fresh and hardened concrete properties in condition of curing temperature $10^{\circ}C\;and\;20^{\circ}C$. The followings are the summary of which concluded in this study. Considering the concrete cured over 28 days compressive strength, most replacement ratios of pozzolanic admixtures were higher than plain concrete that. Compressive strength development properties of ternary concrete according to curing temperature conjugation were similar except for early age.
