웨어러블 신체 생체 활동 모니터링 시스템 개발 (Development of Wearable Physical Activity Monitoring System)

  • ICT 기술이 발전함에 따라, 다양한 크기와 형태의 웨어러블 디바이스가 개발되어 지고 있다. 또한, 성능이나 스펙은 현재의 스마트폰과 연결 가능하도록 IOT 융합 제품으로 재탄생 되고 있다. 이것은 4차 산업혁명의 범용 기술 중 하나로, 우리의 삶의 질과 환경을 바꾸는 기술로 집중 조명을 받고 있다. 이와 함께 헬스케어 기술이 결합된 신기술 제품이 증가함에 따라, 이를 필요로 하는 사용자들에게 다양한 기능들이 제공되고 있다. 웨어러블 기술은 기술개발과 함께 지속적인 증가 추세에 있다. 또한 이를 스마트 와치 형태의 제품으로 개발하여 제품을 출시하고 있다. 또한 소형화를 위해 마이크로프로세서의 집적화 기술을 적용한 오픈소스 하드웨어들이 개발되고 있다. 그중 아두이노 관련 제품은 현재 다양하게 만들어져 있으며 용도에 따라 아두이노 프로세서를 개발 툴에 맞추어 사용하면 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 오픈소스 하드웨어 기반의 타이니두이노를 활용하여 웨어러블 신체 생체 활동 모니터링 시스템을 개발하였다. 타이니두이노는 Atmega 프로세스를 기반으로 제작된 초소형 아두이노 호환 보드로 오픈소스 통합 개발 환경(스케치)에서 프로그램이 가능하다. 웨어러블 신체 생체 활동 모니터링 시스템은 일상적인 건강관리를 할 수 있는 스마트 u-Healthcare 시스템이라는 것이 큰 장점이라 할 수 있겠다.

Effect of Phenol Formaldehyde Impregnation on The Physical and Mechanical Properties of Soft-Inner Part of Oil Palm Trunk

  • The objective of this study was to improve physical and mechanical properties of soft-inner part of oil palm trunk (S-OPT) after impregnation with phenol formaldehyde (PF) resin and densification by close system compression (CSC) method. Effect of different methods of PF resin impregnation (i.e., no vacuum-pressure, vacuum, and vacuum-pressure) was evaluated. The results showed that PF resin impregnation and CSC significantly improved the physical and mechanical properties of S-OPT up to: (1) 176% in density; (2) 309% in modulus of rupture (MOR); (3) 287% modulus of elasticity (MOE); and (4) 191% in the compressive strength. Physical and mechanical properties of S-OPT showed their best performances when PF resin impregnated with vacuum-pressure method as shown by higher weight gain, density, MOR, MOE, compressive strength, and lower recovery of set due to better penetration of PF resin into S-OPT. Combining PF resin impregnation and densification by CSC method could be a good method to improve physical and mechanical properties of S-OPT.

Managing Product Evolution in Agile Manufacturing Environments

  • This paper presents an integrated object-oriented database approach for managing the evolution of products in agile manufacturing environments, Schema evolution modification facilities are provided to support full potential versioning of type definitions. All of the possible versions for a composite product are not explicitly represented to avoid version proliferation. However, valid configurations of any composite products can be provided to comply with customer demands, The attributes of composite products are classified in order to provide well-defined representation scheme for composite products and to be exploited in version control. The attributes are partitioned into composite-related and non composite-related categories. Composite-related attributes consist of subproducts and description ones. Subproducts attributes represent physical constituents of a composite product. Description attributes represent external features, assembling, and correspondence property. Interface attributes are introduced for managing configurability and version propagation. Version derivations due to the changes to the interface attributes are propagated toward the product composition hierarchy, The validity of configurations of composite products is checked by using configurability maps. Instance objects which represent the actual product instances are stored and manipulated in the database in order to support traceability during product life cycle.

  • Quality evaluation of agricultural products has been a subject of interest to many researches for many years. As a results, several nondestructive techniques for quality evaluation of agricultural products have been developed. These methods are based on the detection of various physical properties that correlate well with certain quality factors of the products. This paper presents an overview of various quality evaluation techniques that are based on one of the following properties : density, firmness , vibration characteristic , X-ray and gamma ray transmission, optical reflectance and transmission , electrical properties, aromatic volatile emission, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The sophistication of nondestructive methods has evolved rapidly with modern technologies. The use of various modern image acquisition techniques, such as solid state TV camera, line-scan camera, X-ray scanning , ultrasonic scanning and NMR imaging, in conjunction with image-processing te hniques has provided new opportunities for researchers to develop many new and improved techniques for nondestructive quality evaluation of agricultural products.

  • Many theories and researches about agricultural products transportation were proposed and introduced until now. These studies have insufficient consideration about factors like region of imported agricultural products and the different speed of each road. In this study the Optimal Routes Selection Model (ORSEM) included factors that aren't taken into account in past studies and consists of database using Internet. Finally the model was developed through advanced marketing potential function and optimization method. The ORSEM focalizes on transport network organization. This model was applied to physical distribution of agricultural products in South Korea and found optimum routes of agricultural products.

글로벌 협업 전자상거래를 위한 유사상품 탐색 알고리즘

  • This paper suggests a collaborative business process between the companies that each has a restricted physical branch in its own area and wants to extend globally sales and delivery service. The companies integrate their business processes for sales and delivery using a shared product taxonomy table. We also suggest a similar product finding algorithm to make the product taxonomy table that defines product relationships to exchange them between the companies. The main idea of the proposed algorithm is using a multi-attribute decision making (MADM) to find the utility values of products in a same product class of the companies. Using the values we determine what products are similar. It helps the product manager to register the similar products into a same product sub-category. The companies then allow consumer to shop and purchase the products at their own residence site and deliver them or similar products to another sites.

  • Recently more complex geometric shapes, including freeform surfaces, are adopted for the design of products to emphasize style or beauty. Modeling of these products is extremely difficult or often impossible. Reverse engineering is the latest technology that can solve the problem by generating CAD models from the physical mockups or prototype models. Reverse engineering uses the coordinate measuring machine(CMM) to get the shape data of products. CMM is limited by the size of the product; therefore it must need the feature to solve it. The tooling-ball which is generally used for feature has difficulty in being used for soft products. Besides, the higher the accuracy of the tooling-ball is, the more expensive its cost is. This study will develop the feature of high accuracy without additional tools and compare the difference of accuracy by it.

중등학교 가정교과 식생활교육을 위한 청소년의 우유 섭취, 영양 섭취 및 체력과의 관계 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Milk Consumption, Dietary Nutrient Intake and Physical Strength of Adolescents in Middle and Small-Sized Cities in Korea for Dietary Education of Home Economics Subject at Middle and High Schools)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 우유 섭취, 영양 섭취 및 체력 간의 관계를 알아보고자 실시되었다. 시도교육청과 학교의 협조를 받아 선정한 중소도시에 거주하는 298명의 청소년을 대상으로 평소 식사 및 체력장 기록을 조사하였다. 우유 유제품 섭취는 식사조사를 이용해 파악하였고, 우유 유제품으로 섭취한 1일 평균 칼슘 섭취량을 우유 200 mL 중의 칼슘 함량과 비교해 1일 평균 우유칼슘당량을 구하였다. 식사조사는 식사기록법에 의해 주중 2일과 주말 1일을 포함하는 3일간 실시하였고, 식사조사지의 식사 내용을 CAN-Pro 3.0에 입력해 영양소 섭취량을 구한 후 1일 평균 영양소 섭취량을 산출하였다. 체력장 기록은 학교에서 정규적으로 실시하는 자료에 따랐다. 조사 대상 청소년의 1일 평균 우유칼슘당량은 우유칼슘당량을 기준으로 분류한 저섭취군(${\leq}0.29$/일), 중섭취군(0.30-0.78/일), 고섭취군(0.79-5.66/일)에서 모두 권장 수준인 '2'보다 낮아 조사대상자의 우유 섭취가 전반적으로 부족하였다. 1일 평균 우유칼슘당량이 높을수록 50 m 달리기와 제자리멀리뛰기 기록이 유의적으로 높았다. 그리고 대부분의 에너지 영양소, 비타민, 무기질의 1일 평균 섭취량과 50 m 달리기, 제자리멀기뛰기, 오래달리기 기록이 높은 방향으로 유의적인 상관관계가 있었다(p<0.05). 따라서 청소년기에 우유 섭취와 함께 균형잡힌 영양 섭취를 하면 체력 향상에 도움이 되므로 중등학교 가정교과의 식생활교육에서 청소년기에 1일 2컵의 우유 섭취를 실천하도록 지도해야 하며 아울러 중등학교의 학교우유급식 활성화를 위한 제도적 뒷받침도 이루어질 필요가 있다고 하겠다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review the literature of AIDS/HIV (acquired immune deficiency syndrome/human immunodeficiency virus) and to introduce physical therapy of the AIDS client. It was first reported that five young homosexual men, in 1981 in Los Angeles, died of pneumonia caused by pneumocystis carinii - called "pest of twentieth century". AIDS was implied a fatal breakdown of the functioning of the normal human immune system. The major routes of transmission has occurred via l)sexual contact between men, 2)heterosexual intercourse, 3)contaminated blood and blood products, and 4)intrauterine or pre-natal infection from mothers. AIDS clients who may require physical therapy for a wide range of problems due to respiratory, neurological, musculoskeletal and painful syndromes as well as general decline in fitness and function. AIDS is growing rapidly in our contury as well as all over the world. Therefore, physical therapist has to correct his understandings of AIDS in order to protect himself and to give proper physical therapy to the AIDS clients.

다양한 신체사이즈를 고려한 사무용의자 대량맞춤생산 지향 모듈화 설계방법론 (Mass Customization Oriented Modular Design of Office-chair Considering Human Body Size)

  • Modular design is a very important design methodology that allows designers to develop a product family at low product development and production cost. This design methodology is also very powerful for products that require frequent design changes due to customer requirements. Most research on modular design is focused on the modularization based on functional decomposition, physical interface and manufacturing process of parts. In this paper, we propose a modularization method that takes size of human body parts into consideration for products which have physical interactions with the products such as office chairs and sport machines. Evaluation of modular design is based on dependence measurement between every pair of components in the design. In addition we proposed a module sizing method for the maximization of customer satisfaction in MC(Mass Customization) environment.
