대칭적 Triazine 유도체들에 의한 알칼리성 Magenta 유제층의 경막시험에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Hardening Test of Alkaline Magenta Emulsion Layers by Derivatives of Symmetrical Triazine)

  • In this paper, we describe a study on the relationship between alkaline magenta emulsion manufacture and hardening test of films. The hardeners were prepared by condensation of equimolar amounts of trichlorotriazine with benzene-or naphthalene-based amino or oxy acids at 0 to $5^{\circ}C$ and at pH 7, and used as hardening agents for gelatin. The hardening test of alkaline magenta emulsion was studied at pH 8.5. For example I(R=ONa) had strong hardening properties, I substituted with an aminobenzosulfonate moiety (R=NHC6H4-p-SO3Me where Me = K, Na) was a much weaker gelatin hardener, and when substituted with amino- or oxynaphthalene derivative (II, III) did not harden gelatin at all. Compound with 2 dichlorotriazine groups as IV exhibited hardening properties. The hardener can be used in alkaline magenta emulsion layer of film and showed good hardening effect.

PHOTOSENSITIVITY OF HETEROJUNCTION TYPE GRAINS IN CUBIC SILVER HALIDE MICROCRYSTALS

  • Photosensitivity of silver halide emulsion depends on the properties of the microcrystals. Size, shape, grain distribution and chemical composition as well as the inner structure or the topography of the latent image specks affect on the optical properties and play an important role in the photographic process. In the present paper, a study on the sensitization of emulsion containing AgBrClI core/shell grains showed that for the given size, shape, halide content and crystal habit, under the optimal conditions the photosensitivity of the heterojunction type grains are different from that of the common regular grains. The optimal photosensitivity was obtained at the iodide content of 2.0 mo1%.

  • Silver chlorobromoiodide cubic seed emulsion was prepared'in the presence of ammonia and phenylcarbamyl gelatin solution. When benzenethiosulfonate sodium salt (BTS) and 4-hydroxy6-methyl-1,3,3a,7-tetraazaindene (TAI), as growth modifiers, were added in the seed emulsion, the silver halide microcrystals were obtained in the forms of cubo-octahedrons, octahedrons, rhombic dodecahedron by variation of pAg value through controlled double jet. The crystal habits and shapes were determined by means of X-ray diffraction (D/MAX BIB, Rigaku) and electron microscopy (JSM-840, JEOL), respectively.

  • Among the gelatin hardness for photographic emulaion, the formaldehyde, dialdehydes, n-Methylol compounds, ketones, carbonylic acid and carbamic acid derivatives, and s-Triazine derivatives were studied The greater purts of hardeners formed cross-link by the reaction with E-Amino group in the lysine and OH group in the hydroxylysine. Glutaraldehyde produced most stable cross-link due to the formation of pyridinum ion. 2.5- hexanedione and 3-hexene-2,5-dione possible to use as the ketone hardner. The sodium salt of 2.4-dichloro-6-hydroxy-S-Triazine was newly developed as the olefinic hardners for emulsion.

사진저작물의 창작성 판단 기준 (Standard of Creativity in the Copyrightable Photographic Works)

  • 최근 동일 풍경을 대상으로 촬영한 두 사진이 실질적으로 유사하지 않다는 법원 판결을 놓고 사진의 창작성 기준 및 저작권 보호 수준에 대한 논란이 뜨거웠다. 이에 본 연구는 풍경 사진을 비롯한 각종 사진 저작권 관련 국내외 판례 및 관련 법령, 각종 선행 연구 등을 중심으로 사진의 창작성 및 저작권 보호 기준을 제시해 보았다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 사진저작물에서 표현 부분은 사진의 구성 요소 중 피사체의 선정, 구도의 설정, 빛의 방향과 양의 조절, 카메라 각도의 설정, 셔터의 속도, 셔터찬스의 포착, 기타 촬영 방법, 현상 및 인화 등의 과정에서 촬영자의 개성과 창조성이 있는 부분에 해당한다. 반면 위에 언급한 부분 중 촬영자의 개성과 창조성이 존재한다고 보기 어려운 부분을 '아이디어'라 할 수 있는데, 사진의 주제 콘셉트 느낌, 피사체 특히 공중 영역에 있거나 자연에 존재하는 물체의 외관, 계절이나 시간 등 촬영 시점, 사진이 가장 멋있게 나올 수 있는 촬영 장소, 가로나 세로 앵글의 선택 여부는 일종의 아이디어로 볼 수 있다. 사진의 경우 예외적으로 사진촬영에 들인 노력에 대한 보상이 이루어져야 한다는 주장도 있지만, 본 연구를 통해 저작권법은 사진저작물에 있어서도 일관되게 '아이디어'가 아닌 '창작적 표현'만을 보호해 줌을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Asymetric system have been introduced in these years by KODAK company nam of Insight system for the purpose of improve the chest image. We have had a problem of chest radiology that it is very difficult to visualize the lung field and modiastinal region at one shot. That's why we are the RT using the technique of high voltage hard quality radiography in chest radiography. Also it is known the c-type wide latitude film can lift up the density of mediastinal structures. Authors investigated the photographic characteristics and physical structure of Insight system. Method 1. Investigated the structure of Emulsion layer. Calculated the particle size of Insight system using SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). 2. Photographic characteristics has been compared the Insight system with the ortho KM/MG combination in $60{\sim}120kV$ range. Results 1. The particle size of backside film were investigated about 2 times larger that of front side film. 2. The front and backscreen's thickness ratio was detected 1 : 3.87, that the backscreen's thickness was thicker than frontscreen. 3. At the view point of photographic characteristics the frontside of insight system make up the contrast, backside make up the density at low exposure lesion.

Film Image Transfer System (FITS): An Efficient Method for Proper Positioning of Orthodontic Mini-implants

  • Purpose: To describe the newly developed Film image transfer system (FITS) for proper positioning of the orthodontic mini-implant in the narrow interdental space and considerations for better application. Materials and Methods: A patient who was planning to have orthodontic mini-implant treatment on the posterior maxilla was recruited to assess the feasibility of FITS. Dental radiographic film and bite record was taken. And then the film image was transferred on the photographic emulsion coated model using transfer light through film projector (enlarger). After exposing the photo emulsion coating on the model, the image was developed with a working solution for a paper developer and fixed. The surgical guide for the mini-implant was fabricated from the transported FITS data. Results: The completed surgical guide was easily placed intraorally, and allowed a simple and rapid placement of the mini-implant. The site of the implant placement was accurate as planned position. Conclusion: In the reported case, The FITS technique represents an effort to minimize risk to the patient and produce consistently good results based upon accurate information about the anatomy of the implant site.

  • In this study, sensitizing dye was prepared by the reaction of 2-methyl-3-sulfopropyl-4,5-naphthothiazolium(inner salt) with triethyl orthobenzoate in the presence of triethylamine. The product was identified by using various analytical tools such as elemental analyzer, IR spectrophotometer, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, $^1H-NMR$ spectrometer, TGA and DSC. Therefore, it was concluded that 9-phenyl-3,3'-bis(3-sulfopropyl)-4,5,4',5'-naphthothiazolo carbocyanine triethyl ammonium salt can be used as red-sensitizing dye for the spectral sensitization of photographic emulsion.

  • In this study, benzoxazolo carbocyanine is of industrial importance as green-sensitizing dye in the spectral sensitization. Sensitizing dye was prepared by the reaction of 2-methyl-3-sulfopropyl-4,5-benzoxazolium (inner salt) with triethyl orthobenzoate in the presence of triethylamine. The product was identified by using various analytical tools such as elemental analyzer, IR spectrophotometer, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, $^1H$-NMR spectrometer, TGA and DSC. The maximum absorption peak in methanol solvent was 507 nm. Therefore, it was concluded that benzoxazolo carbocyanine dye can be used as sensitizing dye for the spectral sensitization of photographic emulsion and color cosmetics.

은염에 형성된 위상형 회절격자의 고효율에 관한 연구 (A Study on High Efficiency of Phase Grating)

  • 두께가 5${mu}m$인 Agfa 8E75 HD 필름에 He-Ne 레이저를 사용하여 고효율 회절격자를 형성하였다. 은염에 기록된 격자의 회절효율은 물질자체에 의해 제한되기 보다는 화학적 처리 과정에 많이 좌우된다. 특히 중크롬산 칼륨 표백액과 알코올 건조를 이용하여 노출량 180${mu}J/cm^2$에서 71%(두 경계면에서의 반사량을 고려하면 81%)의 회절효율을 얻었다. 중크롬산에 의한 연계결합과 급속 건조에 의한 공기 간격이 굴절율 변조도를 증가시켰다. 알코올 건조에 의해 감광유제가 부풀어 올라 기록 각도보다 큰 각에서 Bragg 조건이 일어나고 이를 전자 현미경 사진을 통해 밝혔으며, 결과적으로 두께의 제어가 고효율을 위한 잠재적 원천으로 작용함을 알 수 있었다.
