  • Two-photon microscopy (TPM) has been used in plant research as a high-resolution high-depth 3D imaging modality. However, TPM is known to induce photo-damage to the plant in case of long time exposure, and optimal excitation wavelength for plant imaging has not been investigated. Longer excitation wavelength may be appropriate for in vivo two-photon imaging of Arabidopsis thaliana leaves, and effects of longer excitation wavelength were investigated in terms of imaging depth, emission spectrum. Changes of emission spectrum as a function of exposure time at longer excitation wavelength were measured for in vivo longitudinal imaging. Imaging depth was not changed much probably because photon scattering at the cell wall was a limiting factor. Chloroplast emission spectrum showed its intensity peak shift by 20 nm with transition of excitation wavelength from 849 nm or below to 850 nm or higher. Emission spectrum showed different change patterns with excitation wavelengths in longitudinal imaging. Longer excitation wavelengths appeared to interact with chloroplasts differently in comparison with 780 nm excitation wavelength, and may be good for in vivo imaging.

  • This research addresses the experimental application of the digital close-range photogrammetric technique for 3D deformation measurement and visualization of road slope. The 3D displacements were extracted by the photo-triangulation based on the bundle adjustment method using the digital imagery. In addition, we produced the digital elevation models, the digital orthorectified images and the 3D perspective view images of the slope employing a digital photogrammetric workstation. Also the inclination map of the slope was generated as the data for monitoring and managing dangerous slopes.

  • For spatial analysis and decision-making based on territorial and urban information, technologies on 3D GIS with digital image data and photo-realistic 3D image models to visualize 3D modeling are being rapidly developed. Currently, satellite images, aerial images and aerial LiDAR data are mostly used to build 3D models and textures from oblique aerial photographs or terrestrial photographs are used to create 3D image models. However, we are in need of quality 3D image models as current models cannot express topographic and features most elaborately and realistically. Thus, this study analyzed techniques to use aerial photographs, aerial LiDAR, terrestrial photographs and terrestrial LiDAR to create a 3D image model with artificial features and special topographic that emphasize spatial accuracy, delicate depiction and photo-realistic imaging. A 3D image model with spatial accuracy and photographic texture was built to be served via 3D image map services systems on the Internet. As it was necessary to consider intended use and display scale when building 3D image models, in this study, we applied the concept of LoD(Level of Detail) to define 3D image model of buildings in five levels and established the models by following the levels.

  • Through photogrammetry techniques, what current researches can achieve at present is rough 3D mesh and color map of objects, rather than usable photo-realistic 3D assets. This research aims to propose a new method to create photo-realistic 3D assets that can be used in the field of visualization applications. The new method combines photogrammetry with computer graphics modeling. Through the description of the production process of three objects in the real world - "Bullet Box", "Gun" and "Metal Beverage Bottle," it introduces in details the concept, functions, operating skills and software packages used in the steps including the photograph object, white balance, reconstruction, cleanup reconstruction, retopology, UV unwrapping, projection, texture baking, De-Lighting and Create Material Maps. In order to increase the flexibility of the method, alternatives to the software packages are also recommended for each step. In this research, 3D assets are produced that are accurate in shape, correct in color, easy to render and can be physically interacted with dynamic lighting in texture. The new method can obtain more realistic visual effects at a faster speed. It does not require large-scale teams, expensive equipment and software packages, therefore it is suitable for small studios and independent artists and educational institutions.

  • Thanks to the development of IT technology, there have been developed a variety of types of portable music players. IT technology didn't stop there, however. It has gone to developing GUIs (Graphic User Interfaces) to deliver more information to the user. As the function of GUIs has become important, the music players are being required to show characteristics of the sounds they output visually beyond just delivering the sounds through analyzing the information that the sounds contain. To visualize the information of sounds, that is to say, has become substantial. In this process, sound graphic equalizers have been developed in order. The object of this study is to produce a new sound graphic equalizer with new forms of expressing visual images of sounds besides the bar graphs, in which user feedback is possible. This study has devised a new sound visualization form in visually expressing the information of sounds by analyzing their characteristics. This new sound visualization provides a sound graphic equalizer with which the user can select images for the information of the sounds s/he listens. This study suggests a new alternative GUI with which the user can change the form of the outputted images in realtime as communicating with the player.

  • Conventional atom model must be criticized on the following four points. (1) Natural motions between positive and negative entities are not circular motions but linear going and returning ones, for examples sexual motion, tidal motion, day and night etc. (2) Potential energy generation was neglected when electron changes its orbit from outer one to inner one. The hv is the kinetic energy of the photo-electron. The total energy difference between orbits comprises kinetic and potential energies. (3) The structure of the space must be taken into consideration because the properties of the electron do not change during the transition from outer orbit to inner one even though it produces photon. (4) Total energy conservation law applies to the energy flow between mind and matter because we daily experiences a interconnection between mind and body. $\prod$-rays come out from the crystallizing $\pi$-bondings when they vibrate or deform. Gaston Naessens(1950) invented a microscope, which can visualize the $\pi$-rays in blood. Unordinarily agglomerated spores of $\pi$-rays may provoke poor immunity and bad illness. The agglomerated spores of $\pi$-rays can make closed type $\pi$-bondings in the case of carbohydrates and esters but proteins build open type $\pi$-bondings because the peptide bonds are planar, which principle produces a life.

  • Three-dimensional geo-spatial information is important for the efficient use and management of the country and the three-dimensional expression and analysis of urban projects, such as urban plans devised by local governments and urban management. Thanks to the revitalization of the geo-spatial information service industry, it is now being variously used not only in public but also private areas. For the creation of high-guiltily three-dimensional geo-spatial information, emphasis should be placed on not only the quality of the source image and three-dimensional geo-spatial model but also the level of visualization, such as level of detail and texturing. However, in the case of existing three-dimensional geo-spatial information, its establishment process is complicated and its data are not updated frequently enough, as it uses ready-created digital maps. In addition, as it uses Ortho Images, the images exist Relief displacement. As a result, the visibility is low and the three-dimensional models of artificial features are simplified to reach LoD between 2 and 3, making the images look less realistic. Therefore, this paper, analyzed the quality of three-dimensional geo-spatial information created using the three-dimensional modeling technique were applied using Digital photogrammetry technique, using digital aerial photo images by an existing large-format digital camera and multi-looking camera. The analysis of the accuracy of visualization information of three-dimensional models showed that the source image alone, without other visualization information, secured the accuracy of 84% or more and that the establishment of three-dimensional spatial information carried out simultaneously with filming made it easier to gain the latest data. The analysis of the location accuracy of true Ortho images used in the work process showed that the location accuracy was better than the allowable horizontal position accuracy of 1:1,000 digital maps.

  • The purpose of this study is to research consumers' perception of the HiSeoul fashion show, which is being used by new designers as a means of promotion, and to propose a strategy for revitalizing new designer brands. This was done in order to secure basic data from fashion consumers, to help guide marketing strategies and promote rising designers. In this research, the consumers' perception of HiSeoul fashion show was verified using text-mining, data refinement and word clouding that was undertaken by TEXTOM3.0. Also, semantic network analysis, CONCOR analysis and visualization of the analysis results were performed using Ucinet 6.0 and NetDraw. "HiSeoul fashion show" was used as the keyword for text-mining and data was collected from March 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019. Using frequency analysis, TF-IDF, and N-gram, it was also shown that consumers are aware of places where shows are held, such as DDP and Igansumun. It was also revealed that consumers recognize rising designer brands, designer's names, the names of guests attending the show and the photo times. This study is meaningful in that it not only confirmed consumers' interest in new designer brands participating in the HiSeoul Fashion Show through big data but also confirmed that it is available as a marketing strategy to boost brand sales. This study suggests using HiSeoul show room to induce consumer sales, or inviting guests that match the brand image to promote them on SNS on the day the show is held for a marketing strategy.
