Polysulfone에 Di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phosphoric acid와 Carbon Nanotubes를 고정화한 PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs 비드의 제조와 Sr(II)의 제거 특성 (Preparation of PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs Beads Immobilized with Carbon Nanotubes and Di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phosphoric acid on Polysulfone and Removal Characteristics of Sr(II))

  • 본 연구에서는 di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phosphoric acid (D2EHPA)와 carbon nanotubes (CNTs)를 polysulfone (PSf)에 고정화시켜 PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs 비드를 제조하였으며, 제조한 비드에 의한 Sr(II)의 제거특성을 살펴보았다. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) 및 Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) 분석을 통하여 PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs 비드의 형태적 특성들을 조사하였다. PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs 비드에 의한 Sr(II)의 제거는 운전시간 60 min 정도에서 평형에 도달하였으며, 속도 실험결과는 유사 2차 속도식에 잘 부합하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs 비드에 의한 Sr(II)의 제거에서 Langmuir 식으로부터 구한 최대 제거량은 4.75 mg/g이었다. PSf/D2EHPA/CNTs 비드에 의한 Sr(II)의 제거효율은 추출제 D2EHPA 만을 사용하는 경우보다 CNTs를 첨가함으로써 Sr(II)의 제거량이 2.5배 정도 향상되는 결과를 보였다.

교류 임피던스법에 의한 인산형 연료전지의 산소전극 특성 연구 (AC Impedance Study of Oxygen Electrode in Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cell)

  • 교류 임피던스법을 사용하여 온도, 부하전위 및 전극내 테프론 함량에 따른 인산형 연료전지의 산소전극 반응의 특성을 연구하였다. $105wt.\%$ 인산에서 산소 전극의 임피던스 거동은 전극 계면 저항, 전극 계면 캐패스턴스 및 전해질 저항으로 이루어진 간단히 회로로 특징지어지고, 이것으로부터 구한 인산의 전기전도도는 $130\~190^{\circ}C$의 온도범위에서 0.31-0.47 S/cm 로 나타났다. 부하전위와 온도가 증가함에 따라 산소극의 계면저항은 감소하였으나 산소극의 계면 캐패스턴스는 증가하였으며, 이것은 산소극의 반응속도와 전극의 계면 임피던스가 직접적인 관계를 가진다는 것을 의미한다. 테프론 함량에 따른 인산형 연료전지 단전지의 성능을 조사하여 임피던스 측정결과와 비교하였으며, $40wt.\%$에서 최대 성능을 나타내었고, 이것은 산소극의 계면 임피던스 값이 최적 상태를 나타내었기 때문인 것으로 판단되며, 이러한 결과들이 전극의 3상계면 상태와 연관지어 토의되었다.

The effect of casein phosphopeptide amorphous calcium phosphate on the in vitro shear bond strength of orthodontic brackets

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of casein phosphopeptide amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) on the shear bond strength (SBS) of brackets bonded to non-demineralized teeth with either phosphoric acid etching or self-etching primer. Methods: Sixty human premolars were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 treatment groups (n = 15 each): phosphoric acid etching (group 1); self-etching primer (group 2); CPP-ACP for 2 weeks + phosphoric acid etching (group 3), and CPP-ACP for 2 weeks + self-etching primer (group 4). After bonding of the maxillary premolar metal brackets, specimens were subjected to shear forces in a testing machine. Scanning electron microscopy was used to observe etching patterns on the enamel surfaces of all teeth. A 2-way analysis of variance was used to test for effects of CPP-ACP and etching system on SBS. Results: Significantly higher mean SBSs were observed in groups subjected to phosphoric acid etching (i.e., groups 1 and 3; p < 0.05). On the other hand, SBSs did not appear to be influenced by CPP-ACP (i.e., groups 3 and 4; p > 0.05). We observed a uniform and clear etched pattern on the enamel surface of the phosphoric acid etching groups. Conclusions: CPP-ACP does not significantly affect the SBS of orthodontic brackets bonded to non-demineralized teeth, regardless of which adhesive method is used to bond the brackets.

자가 산부식 프라이머 시스템 사용시 인산에 의한 부가적인 산부식이 미세누출에 미치는 영향 (THE EFFECT OF ADDITIONAL ENAMEL ETCHING ON MICROLEAKAGE OF THE ADHESION OF SELF-ETCHING PRIMER SYSTEM)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of additional enamel etching with phosphoric acid on the microleakage of the adhesion of self-etching primer system. Class V cavity($4mm{\times}3mm{\times}1.5mm$) preparations with all margins in enamel were prepared on buccal surface of 42 extracted human upper central incisor teeth. Prepared teeth were randomly divided into 3 groups. Group 1:no additional pretreatment with 37% phosphoric acid (NE). Group 2:additional pretreatment with 37% phosphoric acid for 10 seconds (E10s). Group 3:additional pretreatment with 37% phosphoric acid for 20 seconds (E20s). The adhesives(Clearfil SE $Bond^{\circledR}$, Kuraray, Osaka, Japan) and composite resins(Clearfil $AP-X^{\circledR}$, Osaka, Kuraray, Japan) were applied following the manufacturer's instructions. All the specimens were finished with the polishing disc(3M dental product, St Paul, MN, USA), thermocycled for 500 cycles between $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$ and resected apical 3-mm root. 0.028 stainless steel wire was inserted apically into the pulp chamber of each tooth and sealed into position with sticky wax. Surrounding tooth surface was covered with a nail varnish 2 times except areas 1mm far from all the margins. After drying for one day, soaked the samples in the distilled water. Microleakage was assessed by electrochemical method(System 6514, $Electrometer^{\circledR}$), Keithley, USA) in the distilled water.   • LCD와 반도체 제조공정에서 발생하는 인산, 질산, 초산, Al, Mo 등이 혼재하고 있는 인산계 혼산폐액을 액정제조공정에서 사용할 수 있는 고순도 에칭액으로 재활용하기 위해서 용매추출법, 진공증발법, 확산투석법 및 이온교환법의 각각의 기술적 특성을 살린 혼합 처리공정을 이용하여 고순도 인산회수 기술을 확립하고 상용화 시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 시험 결과 진공증발에 의해 질산과 초산을 100% 제거할 수 있었고, TOP를 이용한 용매추출에서도 추출 4단, 탈거 6단으로 완벽하게 제거할 수 있었다. 이온교환의 전단계로 적용한 확산투석에서 Al 97.5%, Mo 36.7% 제거할 수 있었고 이온교환공정에서 Al 및 Mo를 각각 1ppm이하로 정제할 수 있었다.

  • The current study evaluated the disinfection efficiency of free chlorine and chloramine for microorganisms on various pipe materials, such as copper, galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. In addition, the effect of internal pipe corrosion and corrosion inhibitors on the bactericidal efficiency was evaluated using a simulated loop. For disinfection with a phosphate corrosion inhibitor, chloramination was found to be more effective than chlorination due to its persistence. Free chlorine disinfection was optimized with a high phosphoric acid concentration, while chloramine disinfection was optimized with a high phosphoric acid or low polyphosphate concentration. In simulated copper and galvanized steel loop tests, chloramination with phosphoric acid was demonstrated to be more effective.

  • The catalytic effect of salts on formation of ${\alpha}$-calcium sulfate hemihydrate under water vapor at atmospheric pressure was studied and the formation of q-calcium sulfate hemilydrate from by-product gypsum of phosphoric acid process was investigated. The order of catalytic effect of salts are as follow: Ammonium chloride>Sodium succinate>Calcium chloride>Sodium tartrate>Magnesium chloride The prismatic crystals was formed when ammonium chloride, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride was added, whereas the needle crystals was formed when sodium tartrate was added. Ammonium chlorideis most successful in catalytic effects in formation of ${\alpha}$-calcium sulfate hermihydrate for the by-product gypsum of phosphoric acid process.

달걀껍질의 재 사용에 의해 제조 된 생체용 Calcium Phosphate 분말의 상변화 거동 및 미세구조 변화에 관한 연구 (Phase Developments and Microstructure Changes of Calcium Phosphate Powders Synthesized by Recycling Eggshell)

  • Calcium phosphate powders were successfully synthesized by using re-cycled eggshell and phosphoric acid. The crystallization behavior and powder morphologies of the synthesized powders were dependent on the starting condition of the eggshell, the mixing ratio and method of the eggshell and phosphoric acid, and calcination temperature. In general, $\beta$-tricalcium phosphate was stably synthesized at about $900^{\circ}C$ for 1h at each proper mixing ratio. And, the synthesized powders showed the similar microstructures to the morphology of original eggshell with uniform particle sizes. In this study, the calcium phosphate powders were synthesized with eggshell in various processing method. And their unique microstructures obtained from the eggshell were also. observed. The crystalline developments and microstructures of the synthesized powders were examined by X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscopy.

인산형 연료전지의 발전성능에 미치는 반응기체 영향 (Effects of reactant gases on phosphoric acid fuel cell performance)

  • Effects of reactant gas flow rates and starvation on phosphoric acid fuel cell performance were studied. As the reactant gas flow rates increased, the cell performance increased and then the cell maintained constant performance. The optimum flow rates of hydrogen, oxygen and air under galvanostatic condition of 150 mA/cm$_{2}$ are found to be 5cc/min cm$_{2}$ 5cc/min cm$_{2}$ and 15cc/min cm$_{2}$ at room temperature and 1 atm, respectively. Also the open circuit voltage of single cell decreased with increasing oxygen flow rate due probably to the decreased probably to the decreased oxygen pressure in the cathode side. Hydrogen and oxygen starvation resulted in voltage loss of about 5mV and 0-2mV, respectively. The voltage loss was independent of starvation time. These results were discussed from point of view of electrochemical reaction of the cell. (author). 9 refs., 8 figs.

  • Performance characteristics of single cell in phosphoric acid fuel cell were studied for various electrode fabrication parameters such as teflon content, electrode structure, thickness of electrocatalyst layer, platinum content and electrode area. The performance of single cell was decided from the measured voltage-current through a load change. The electrode of 40wt.% teflon exhibited high initial performance of single cell, but in the long term operation, the cell performance of 45 wt.% teflon was better. Also the single cell appeared good performance in case of electrodes with duplicate structure, thin electrocatalyst in thickness, more platinum content, and small area. These results of cell performance were discussed as related to the electrolyte flooding, formation of 3 phase boundary area, internal resistance of electrode, and microstructure of electrode.
