생약재를 이용한 음료의 개발 및 기능성 평가 (Development of Drink from Composition with Medicinal Plants and Evaluation of Its Physiological Function)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of medicinal plants application as an edible functional food resource. We carried out to develop a traditional functional beverage by using hot-water extraction of 4 medicinal plants (Polygonatun sibiricum, Ophiopogonis radix, Lycii fructus, Schizandriae frutcus) and we examined the effects of drink on physiological response during exercise and recovery phase. The subjects were male baseball players, and exercise protocol was performed with 45 minutes treadmill running and 85% VO$_2$ max intensity. Brix, pH and titratable acidity of developed drink were 9.5%, 3.3 and 0.22%. The approximate nutritional composition of beverage was carbohydrate, 5.98%, total dietary fiber, 0.42%, crude protein, 0.70%, crude fat, 0.20% and crude ash, 0.20%. Developed. traditional functional beverage contained K (4.00 mg%), Na (3.68mg%), Ca (2.54mg%), Mg (1.60mg%) and Fe (0.29mg%). Developed beverage drinking group showed a lowest heart rate during exercise and recovery phase than the other two group (water group and ion beverage group). In the change of blood lactate concentration, developed beverage intake group showed a significant lowest values during exercise and recovery phase. And blood hematocrit values and osmolarity were lowest in the developed beverage intake group. In these results, exercise performance capacity was expected to improve most highly with the developed drink from composition with medicinal plants. Also developed beverage was effective in recovery of exercise-induced fatigue. Thus developed drink with medicinal plants can be used as a functional material improving decrease fatigue effects in beverage industry.

디지털 위성방송 수신용 복조기를 위한 반송파 복원 회로 설계 (Design of Carrier Recovery Loop for Receiving Demodulator in Digital Satellite Broadcasting)

  • 디지털 위성방송 수신용 QPSK복조기에서 반송파 위상 오차의 발생으로 인한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 반송파 복원 회로가 요구된다. 기존 반송파 복원 회로의 NCO(Numerically Controlled Oscillator)는 Look-up table을 갖는 구조로 되어있어 전력 소모가 큰 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 전력소모를 줄이기 위해 Look-uptable을 사용하지 않는 조합 회로의 구조로 NCO를 설계하였다. 제안된 NCO의 소비 전력을 비교해보면 Look-uptable을 사용한 NCO의 경우 175(7)이고 새로운 구조의 NCO는 24.65(7)의 결과로 전력소모가 약 1/8로 감소됨을 확인하였다. 또한, 설계한 반송파 복원 회로를 사용하여 위상 오차를 보정해 줄 수 있다는 것을 모의실험을 통해 확인하였다.

Early Phase Contingency Trajectory Design for the Failure of the First Lunar Orbit Insertion Maneuver: Direct Recovery Options

  • To ensure the successful launch of the Korea pathfinder lunar orbiter (KPLO) mission, the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) is now performing extensive trajectory design and analysis studies. From the trajectory design perspective, it is crucial to prepare contingency trajectory options for the failure of the first lunar brake or the failure of the first lunar orbit insertion (LOI) maneuver. As part of the early phase trajectory design and analysis activities, the required time of flight (TOF) and associated delta-V magnitudes for each recovery maneuver (RM) to recover the KPLO mission trajectory are analyzed. There are two typical trajectory recovery options, direct recovery and low energy recovery. The current work is focused on the direct recovery option. Results indicate that a quicker execution of the first RM after the failure of the first LOI plays a significant role in saving the magnitudes of the RMs. Under the conditions of the extremely tight delta-V budget that is currently allocated for the KPLO mission, it is found that the recovery of the KPLO without altering the originally planned mission orbit (a 100 km circular orbit) cannot be achieved via direct recovery options. However, feasible recovery options are suggested within the boundaries of the currently planned delta-V budget. By changing the shape and orientation of the recovered final mission orbit, it is expected that the KPLO mission may partially pursue its scientific mission after successful recovery, though it will be limited.

The Effects of Exercise Intensity and Initial Timing on Functional Recovery after Sciatic Nerve Crush Injury in Rats

  • PURPOSE: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of exercise intensity and initial timing on functional recovery following sciatic nerve injury in rats. METHODS: Total of 80 Sprague-Dawley rats was used and randomly divided 6 groups. Under deep anesthesia, the sciatic nerve was nipped by adapted hemostatic tweezers for 30 seconds and the injured nerve was transparent under naked eyes. Acute exercise groups was applied treadmill after sciatic nerve crush injury during 5days with three type intensity. Late exercise groups was also applied treadmill during 5 days with three type intensity after 5 days break. Values of sciatic functional index were measured and analyzed in each group after exercise period. RESULTS: The sciatic functional index values between control groups 1, acute low-intensity group, acute middle-intensity group in acute phase showed statistical significant (p<.05). The sciatic functional index values between control groups 2, late low-intensity group, late middle-intensity group and late high-intensity in late phase showed statistical significant (p<.05). The comparison in acute and late phase, sciatic functional index values of each low-intensity group and each high-intensity group showed statistical significant (p<.05). CONCLUSION: Whether at acute or late phase, treadmill exercise as a therapy obtained beneficial effects of functional recovery and exercise training at low speed is more beneficial effects on the recovery of motor function in acute phase.

Botryococcus braunii 배양에서 탄화수소의 two-stage 동시추출공정

  • 본 연구에서는 균주의 배양과 동시에 생산물을 회수할 수 있는 동시추출공정을 건조질량의 $15{\sim}75%$의 탄화수소를 생산한다고 알려진 B. braunii 배양에 적용하고자 한다. 일반적인 two-phase 동시추출공정의 적용시 B. braunii의 경우 생산된 탄화수소가 균주 외벽의 matrix에 강하게 부착되어 있기 때문에, two phase 추출공정 적용시 bubble column내에서 단지 폭기에 의한 교반만으로는 충분한 탄화수소의 회수율을 얻을 수가 없었다. 본 연구에서는 배양액과 유기용매층의 접촉기회를 증대시킨 two-stage 동시추출 공정을 개발하여 기존의 two-phase 동시추출 공정보다 2배 이상 높은 56.2%의 탄화수소 회수율을 얻을 수가 있었다.

  • 디지털 위성방송의 복조단에서 사용되고 있는 동기 검파 방식의 QPSK복조기에서 복소 신호의 전송시 송신단과 수신단 사이의 반송파 위상이 동기 되지 않아서 위상차 ${\theta}$가 발생하면 복조된 심볼은 원래 전송 신호에 $e^{j{\theta}}$가 곱해진 형태로 변하게 된다. 이러한 복조기의 성능은 연산처리 비트수가 증가할수록 향상되는 반면 하드웨어의 복잡도가 증가하므로 복잡도와 시스템의 성능을 동시에 고려하여 비트수를 결정하여야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 곱셈기 수를 줄임으로써 구현상의 복잡도를 감소시키고, lookup table을 사용하지 않는 조합 회로 구조로 설계하여 전력소모를 줄일 수 있었다.

진공차단기 3상 동시 차단시의 서지 특성 분석 (Surge Characteristics Analysis of Three-phase Virtual Chopping at Vacuum Circuit Breaker)

  • Vacuum circuit breakers(VCB) are widely used for current interruption of high-voltage inductive loads such as induction motors. This VCB can be chopped off before the current zero due to its high arc-extinguishing capability. One of the outstanding features of VCB is that it can cut off high frequency re-ignition current more than other circuit breakers. If the transient recovery voltage generated in the arc extinguishing is higher than the dielectric strength of the circuit breaker, a re-ignition phenomenon occurs. The surge voltage of the re-ignition is very high in magnitude and the steepness of the waveform is so severe that it can act as a high electrical stress on the winding. If the high frequency current of one phase affects the other two phases when the re-ignition occurs, it may cause a high surge voltage due to the virtual current chopping. If the magnitude of the voltage allowed in the motor winding is high or the waveform level is too severe, it may lead to insulation breakdown. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the voltage to within a certain range. In this study, we briefly explain the various phenomena at the time of interruption, analyzed the magnitude of the dielectric strength and the transient recovery voltage at the simultaneous three-phase interruption that can give the greatest influence to the inductive load, proposed a method to reduce the impact.

창원지역 화강암의 수리분산 특성

  • This study is concerned with the hydrodispersive characteristics of granite in Changwon area. A single-well injection/recovery tracer test was conducted to determine longitudinal dispersivity of the granite, using sodium chloride tracer The dispersivity values obtained from the injection phase are 0.48 m (for between PW-1 and OW-3) and 0.72 m (for between PW-1 and OW-4). That obtained from the recovery phase is 0.68 m. The result of the tracer test indicates that the anisotropy and heterogeneity of the granite and the direction of flow.

이상추출배양을 통한 Botryococcu braunii에서의 탄화수소 생산

무인항공기 자동착륙을 위한 나선형 강하궤적 및 종말유도 설계 (Homing Guidance Law and Spiral Descending Path Design for UAV Automatic Landing)

  • 본 논문에서는 고정익 무인항공기의 그물망 자동착륙을 위한 나선형 강하궤적과 종말 유도기법을 설계하였다. 시야가 확보된 좁은 지역에서 착륙하도록 고정익 항공기의 나선형 강하궤적을 설계하였고, 나선형 강하의 끝점에서 그물망 입사방향을 향하도록 비행경로각 명령을 생성하였다. 종말유도 단계에서는 그물망 중심으로의 정밀한 유도를 위하여 시선각 정보 기반 의사추적 유도기법을 설계하였다. 고정익 무인항공기의 시스템 인식 모델을 이용한 6자유도 수치 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 제안한 나선형 착륙비행의 성능을 검증하였다.
