레이저 변위계를 이용한 고속 회전스핀들의 필드 발란싱 기법 (Field Balancing Process of High Speed Spindle Using Laser Displacer)

  • In recent years, applications of high speed rotating bodies have diversified. It is necessary for a device rotating at high speed to be balanced to minimize vibration. It is necessary to reduce the unbalancing factor to evenly wind the yarn. In this study, we also attempted to devise a technique to minimize the unbalance that occurs while assembling the components of spindles and to simplify the balancing procedure in the field. To balance the spindle, the vibration of the rotating spindle was measured using a laser displacement meter. We also performed balancing using the influence coefficient method by considering the phase.

  • With the convention CW Doppler velocity meter, bi-directional velocities cannot be separated. The new CW Doppler system usee quadrature detection and phase rotation to Produce simultaneous independent audio and velocity signals for forward and reverse blood flow direction, is fabricated. Specially, this system shows that phase rotation method for flow direction separation provides easy and satisfactory feature. From in vivo blood flow measurement, can easily differentiate typical artery flow from vein flow. and measure both velocity characteristics qualitatively.

전류변성기 비교기를 이용한 인덕터의 절대 평가 (Absolute Evaluation of Inductor Using Current Transformer Comparator)

  • We have developed two absolute evaluation technology of inductor using current transformer (CT) comparator. One is the method that the reactance of inductor is obtained by analysing the equivalent circuit of CT with inductor connected to series at secondary terminal of CT. The other is the method that the reactance of inductor is obtained by comparing phase displacement of current flowing on inductor by using CT comparator. These technologies have the advantage to apply up to rated current and voltage of inductor. The method was applied to inductors under test in the range of $100 {\mu}H{\sim}1\;H$. The inductance of the inductor under test obtained in this study are consistent with those measured by LCR meter using the same inductor within an expanded uncertainty (k = 2) in the overall range of inductance.

Largest Array SKA and Largest Dish FAST

  • The largest array SKA (Square Kilometre Array) project was proposed by astronomers from 10 countries, and first coordinated by the LTWG (Large Telescope Working Group) formed at the General Assembly of URSI (International Union of Radio Science) in 1993. It enters the pre-construction phase (2012-2015), towards the 10% SKA construction (2016-2019) called SKA1 and the rest of SKA (2019-2023) called SKA 2, under the leadership of the SKA Organisation (SKAO) established on November 23, 2011. I will review the Chinese participation in the SKA project at national, regional and global levels in the past two decades. During such a Long March to the SKA, a number of national Megascience projects have taken root and have been (are being) successfully constructed, with costs at the 100 M US dollar level, including the largest dish FAST (Five-hundred meter Aperture Spherical Telescope), which can be seen as a forerunner of the KARST (Kilometre Area Radio Synthesis Telescope) project, being as one of the two LDSN (Large Diameter Small Number) concepts for realizing the SKA. A close look at the FAST project gives an impressive snapshot of the construction phase in China.

기포흐름 측정을 위한 영상기법 및 광섬유센서 적용 (Application of Image Technique and Optical Fiber Sensor for Air-water Mixture Flow)

  • 기포가 포함된 다상흐름의 측정은 중요함에도 불구하고 많은 제약이 있었다. 특히, 공극률이 높은 다상 흐름은 밀도차의 급격한 변화와 두꺼운 공기-물 경계면으로 인해 측정이 매우 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 공극률에 상관없이 기포흐름을 측정할 수 있는 기포영상유속측정법과 다발 광섬유유동측정계를 소개하고자 한다. 기포영상측정기법의 경우, 화상측정시 발생하는 원근에 의한 오차를 최소화하고 추정할 수 있는 피사계 심도에 대한 계산방법을 제시하여 정도 분석을 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 다발 광섬유유동측정계는 얇은 광섬유의 특성을 이용해 다발로 제작하여 측정률을 증가시키고자 하였다. 제시된 두 기법을 기포플룸에 적용하여 신뢰도를 검토하였으며 잘 일치하는 것을 확인하였다. 소개된 기법으로 대표적인 하천 다상흐름인 도수흐름을 측정하여 그 적용성을 검토하였다.

BIM 기반 사장교의 개념설계 및 예가분석 시스템 개발 (BIM System Development for Conceptual Design and Pre-Feasibility Study of Cable-Stayed Bridge)

  • 본 연구는 2주탑 3경간 사장교의 사업기획 단계에서 3차원 모델정보에 기반하여 신속한 개략 공사비 및 물량 산정을 지원하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 우선, 기 설계된 사장교 설계정보(구조계산서, 도면, 수량)를 분석하여 설계변수를 도출하였다. 도출된 설계변수를 기반으로 매개변수적으로 사장교를 3차원 모델링하는 BIM Wizard를 개발하였다. BIM Wizard를 이용해 작성된 3차원 모델로부터 사장교의 주요 재료에 대한 수량을 직접 산출하며, 케이블 교량에 대한 단가 D/B와 산출된 수량을 연계하여 개략공사비를 산정할 수 있다. 결과적으로, 사업 초기단계에서 m당 혹은 $m^2$당 실적 평균공사비를 산출하는 재래적인 방식보다 더 구체화된 공사비를 산출할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 이로써, 우리는 사장교에 대해 입찰단계에서 가능한 신속하게 다양한 대안을 검토할 수 있을 것이다.

Relationship between straight and curved walking abilities among inpatients in the subacute phase according to walking independence level

  • Objective: This study was performed to examine differences in the association between straight and curved walking abilities of inpatients in the subacute phase and walking independence level. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: Subjects were divided into an independent group and a supervised group (n=10 each) by walking independence level within the ward decided by physical therapists. Inclusion criteria comprised the ability to ambulate independently within the ward, regardless of the use of walking aids. Straight walking abilities (walking velocity, stride length, and cadence) were evaluated using the 5-meter walk test. Curved walking abilities were evaluated using the Figure-of-8 Walk Test (F8W) and the 3-meter zigzag walk test (3ZW). Differences in associations between straight and curved walking abilities of inpatients were examined by calculating correlation coefficients between straight and curved walking abilities. Results: Age, walking velocity, stride length, F8W and 3ZW varied markedly between independent and supervised groups. In the independent group, F8W and 3ZW correlated significantly with walking velocity and cadence (p<0.05). In the supervised group, F8W correlated significantly with walking velocity and stride length (p<0.05), but 3ZW did not correlate significantly with straight walking abilities. Conclusions: The association between straight and curved walking abilities varied between inpatients who could ambulate independently and inpatients requiring supervision for ambulating. These differences may depend on skill on straight and curved walking abilities. There is a possibility that curved walking exercise is necessary for supervised group.

ET 중력계에 의한 기조력 변화 연구 (A Study on the Earth Tide Variations by ET Gravimeter)

  • Earth tide observations were taken at AMIST observatory in Seoul by LaCoste-Romberg ET gravimeter from September 2 to 16, 1997 for determining the gravimetric factor ($\delta$) and analyzing the tidal components. Meter drifts were corrected by regression and then denoised by threshholding wavelet, a data processing tool. The mean value of $\delta$ is 1.2 and the mean phase lag of & ($M_2$, $S_2$) and & $K_1$, $O_1$) is $0.07{\pm}0.03^{\circ}$ and $0.08{\pm}0.07^{\circ}$ by analyzing the observed earth tides. For yielding measurements of gravity accurate to about 0.01 mgal, the Earth tide observations are required by ET meter. The tidal variations are due to the planet's distance and zenith angle. With the exception of Earth-Moon and Earth-Sun mechanism, the possible causes of tidal variations are tectonical, meterological and hydrological perturbations. The long period and broad observations are required for determining the state of art gravimetric factor in Korea.

단상 에너지 측정용 IC 구현 (Implementation of Single-Phase Energy Measurement IC)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력 정보를 측정하기 위한 단상 에너지 측정용 IC의 구현 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 전력 측정용 IC는 2개의 PGA(Programmable Gain Amplifier), 2개의 ${\sum}{\Delta}$ modulator, reference 회로, LDO(Low-dropout) regulator, 온도 센서, 필터부, 계산 엔진, 보정 제어부, 레지스터, 외부 인터페이스로 구성된다. $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정으로 제작되었고, 32-pin QFN package로 제작되었다. 구현된 IC는 3.3V 전원을 공급받아 동작하며, 동작 클럭 주파수는 4,096 kHz이고, IC 동작시 소비 전력은 10 mW이다.

공기양정(Air-Lift)펌프의 양수특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Lifting Characteristics of Air-Lift Pump)

  • As an effective means to convey crushed materials from seabed to onboard ship and to raise hazardous or abrasive liquids, air-lift pump provides a reliable mechanism due to its simple configuration and easy-to-operate principle. The present study is focused on investigation of related performance by the analysis program based on the gas-liquid two-phase flow in circular pipes. The program covers pump operating in isothermal and vertical two-phase flow with Newtonian liquids. It is summarized as important result that an optimum air mass flow rate exists for the maximum lifted liquid mass flow rate in terms of a given submergence rates. The comparison between riser performance of the conveyed liquid flow rate calculated by the computer program and measured data with large scale air lift pump system constructed in 200 meter depth vertical tank reveals similar distribution.
