Hybrid LED용 적색 유기형광체의 합성 및 특성 연구 (Synthesis and Characterization of Red Organic Phosphor for Hybrid LED)

  • We report the studies on the red organic phosphor by using perylene bisimide derivatives. Even though perylene bisimide derivatives have excellent thermal stability and luminous efficiency, they have low solubility in organic solvents. In this research, modified perylene bisimide derivative, N,N'-Bis(4-bromo-2, 6-diisopropylphenyl)-1, 6, 7, 12-tetraphenoxyperylene-3, 4, 9, 10-tetracarboxyl bisimide (1C), has been prepared by the reaction of phenol with N,N'-Bis(4-bromo-2, 6-diisopropylphenyl)-1, 6, 7, 12-tetrachloroperylene-3, 4, 9, 10-tetracarboxyl bisimide (1B) in presence of DMF, at $70^{\circ}C$. The synthesized (1C) was characterized by using $^1H-NMR$, FT-IR, UV/V is spectroscopy, and TGA. The absorbtion and emission of (1C) was shown at 576 nm and 610 nm in UV/V is spectrum. In TGA thermogram, (1C) showed good thermal stability without significant weight loss to $220^{\circ}C$. And in the solubility analysis, (1C) with phenoxy group showed the good solubility in general organic solvents. The blended films of (1C) with PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) at different weight % concentration such as 10, 5, 1 weight % have been prepared. The blended film was shown at 616 nm when monitored at 450 nm in PL emission spectra.

부유분진중 다환방향족 탄화수소에 관한 연구 - 서울 흑석동 지역을 중심으로 (A Study on Polynucler Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Atmospheric Particulate Matters -Based on the data aquired in Heukseok-Dong, Seoul-)

  • This paper describes on the distribution of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in various size of atmospheric particulate matter (A.P.M.). A.P.M. in Seoul city were collected on guartz fiber filter according to particle size using an Andersen high volume air sampler from Feb. 1983 to March 1984. And 7 PAHs [benzo(a)pyrene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, benzo(ghi)perylene, benzo(e) pyrene, perylene, chrysene, and pyrene] were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The concentration of A.P.M. showed spring-winter maxima and summer-autumn minia. The A.P.M. was lowest in the concentration at the 1.1~3.3$\mu\textrm{m}$ particulates, and the concentration increased as the particle size increased or decreased. But the concentrations of PAHs increased with the decrease in the particle size, and were predominant in winter. The correlations among the PAHs were high. And there fore, benzo(a)pyrene concentration could be considered as the representive of PAHs.

페릴렌과 트리아진기를 측쇄로 가지는 청색 발광 공중합체의 전기발광 특성 (Electroluminescence Characteristics of Blue Light Emitting Copolymer Containing Perylene and Triazine Moieties in the Side Chain)

  • 발광체로 페릴렌기와 전자 전달체로 트리아진기를 측쇄로 가지는 새로운 비공액계 청색 발광 공중 합체를 합성하였다. 제조한 공중합체는 클로로벤젠, THF 클로로포름, 벤젠과 같은 일반 유기 용매에 매우 잘 녹았다. 전도성 투명 전극 (ITO)/공중합체 /알루미늄으로 구성된 단층형 유기 발광 소자는 공중합체에서 트리아진의 함유량이 $30\%$일 때 캐리어 균형이 잘 맞았고 최고의 외부 양자 효율 ($0.003\%$)을 나타내었다. 특히 위에서 제작한 유기 발광 소자는 페릴렌 발광체에 상응하는 청색 발광 (479 nm)을 나타냈다. 구동 전압은 5V로 매우 낮았고, 색 좌표는 X 값이 0.16, Y 값이 0.17이었다.

Electrochemical Characteristics of Water-Soluble Phosphate-Functionalized Naphthalene- and Perylene-Bisimides and Their Zirconium Bisphosphate Multilayers on ITO Electrode

  • N,N'-bis(ethyldihydrogen phosphate)-1,4,5,8-naphthalene bis(dicarboximide) (EPNI) and N,N'-bis(ethyldihydrogen phosphate)-3,4,9,10-perylene bis(dicarboximide) (EPPI) and their zirconium bisphosphate multilayers (Zr-EPNI and Zr-EPPI), that had been briefly reported by us, were further investigated in terms of their electrochemical properties. EPNI in aqueous solution showed typical two reversible reductions at ITO electrode but the reductions were strongly dependent on solution pH while EPPI showed only an irreversible reduction. The single and mixed multilayers of Zr-EPNI and Zr-EPPI were well constructed on ITO electrode by the alternate adsorptions of zirconium ion and the bisimides. While Zr-EPNI multilayer on ITO electrode showed single broad reversible reduction with $E_{1/2}=-0.68V$, Zr-EPPI gave two separated reductions at $E_{1/2}=-0.54$ and -0.81 V vs SCE, quite differently from the solution properties. The average layer densities of the multilayers were estimated as $1.5{\times}10^{-10}$ and $2.3{\times}10^{-10}mol/cm^2$ for Zr-EPNI and Zr-EPPI, respectively. Both the monolayers of Zr-EPNI and Zr-EPPI could not completely block the electron transfer between $Fe(CN){_6}^{3-}$ in solution and ITO electrode but 3-5 layers of Zr-EPNI and Zr-EPPI could block it completely and mediated the one-way electron transfer at the potential shifted to their reduction potentials. When the monolayer of zirconium 1,10-decanediylbisphosphonate (Zr-DBP) was used as a sublayer of Zr-EPNI and Zr-EPPI layers, the mediated electron transfer became prominent without any direct electron transfer.

조리어패류 중 다환방향족탄화수소 분석 (Analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in cooked fish and shellfish)

  • 조리 어패류 중 8종의 PAHs 실태파악을 위하여 어류 168건, 패류 40건을 분석하였다. 시료를 알칼리분해하여 n-hexane으로 추출하고 세척한 후 Sep-Pak Florisil Cartridge로 정제하여 HPLC/FLD로 정량 분석하였다. 각각의 PAHs에 대한 회수율은 약 88~112%였다. 조리어류에서 개별 PAH 평균 농도는 benzo(a)anthracene 불검출, chrysene 불검출, benzo(b)fluoranthene $0.0009{\mu}g/kg$, benzo(k)fluoranthene 불검출, benzo(a)pyrene $0.01{\mu}g/kg$, dibenzo(a,h)anthracene 불검출, benzo(g,h,i)perylene 불검출, indeno(1,2,3-c,d) pyrene 불검출이었다. 조리패류에서 개별 PAH 평균 농도는 benzo(a)anthracene $1.84{\mu}g/kg$, chrysene $3.51{\mu}g/kg$, benzo(b)fluoranthene $0.81{\mu}g/kg$, benzo(k)fluoranthene $0.38{\mu}g/kg$, benzo(a)pyrene $0.39{\mu}g/kg$, dibenzo(a,h)anthracene $0.04{\mu}g/kg$, benzo(g,h,i)perylene $0.20{\mu}g/kg$, indeno(1,2,3-c,d)pyrene 불검출이었다.

  • Self-assembly of the molecular system of perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylic-3,4,9,10-dianhydride (PTCDA) and the amide analogue (PTCDI) is of potential importance for organic semiconductor devices. Therefore we studied the density of states (DOS), the charge densities, and intermolacular bond lengths for PTCDA and PTCDI using the density functional theory calculations.

Synthesis of a novel non-conjugated Blue emitting material Copolymer and Fabrication of mono color OLED by doping various Fluorescent Dyes

  • The existing conjugated blue emitting material polymer which has been used for the two-wavelength method white-emission has good stability and low operating voltage as merits, but the imbalanced carrier transport has been indicated as problem area. We have introduced a novel blue emitting material having perylene moiety unit with hole transporting ability and blue emitting property and triazine moiety unit with electron transporting ability into the same host chain. We have synthesized N-[p-(perylen-3-y1)pheny1]methacry1 amide (PPMA) monomer and [N-(2,4-dipheny1-1,3,5-triazine)pheny1 methacry1 amide] (DTPM) monomer having blue light-emitting unit and electron transport unit, respectively by three steps. A novel non-conjugated blue emitting material Poly[N -[p­(perylene-3-y1) pheny1] methacry1 amide-co-N-[P-(4,6-dipheny1-1,3,5-triazine-2-y1]pheny1]methacry1 amide] (PPPMA-co-DTPM) copolymer having electron transporting unit was synthesized by the solution polymerization of PPMA and DTPM monomers with an AIBN initiator and showed high yield of $75{\%}$. It was very soluble in common organic solvents, and the fabrication of the thin film using a spin coating method was very simple. The PPPMA exhibited a good thermal stability.
