Contemporary organizations strive for customer agility through the deployment of digital technologies on customer-focused operations to build enduring customer relationships, with mobile apps being one of its prominent examples. Drawing on prior agility and ECT literature, this study proposes a model to examine customers' view of a firm's customer agility. Our empirical test of conceptual model from data collected in a field study from 128 customers demonstrated that the conceptual model offers good explanation for customers' view of a firm's customer agility through relationships among customer expectations-customer perceived firm's responsiveness-satisfaction. Data were analyzed using PLS, polynomial modeling, and response surface methodology to examine the relationships between customers' digital interactions with the firm, influence of digitized interactions on customer expectations, customers' evaluation of firm's responsiveness, and subsequent customer satisfaction.

The prime purpose of this study is to view traditional residential space not only as visual and figurative but also experiencing space from the perspective of aesthetics. This study points out that traditional residential space should be perceived as "true space" of connecting people, life and experience. Although it was not clearly defined as a visual entity, the value, phenomenon and experience of space materialized through conjecture and expectation are interpreted as the arena of aesthetics and philosophy. This study aims at drawing a conclusion that the characteristics of traditional residential space, which is perceived as experiencing space centered on objective and subjective human behaviors, makes a linkage to aesthetic elements.

The Internet has motivated firms to participate in electronic commerce. With the development of electronic commerce, SMEs (small- and medium-sized enterprises) may be forced to use e-intermediaries in export marketing. This study aims at assessing e-intermediaries in various aspects. Empirical and theoretical studies are conducted to investigate determinants and effects of eintermediary use in export marketing. Based on resource-based view (RBV), the study develops a conceptual model that can address the question of which international competence and export performance are closely related to e-intermediary use by SMEs. Based on literature review and theoretical foundations, this study made four hypotheses. With AMOS, structural equation modeling (SEM) was used for testing four hypotheses. The empirical findings support all hypotheses. Last, this study suggests examining comprehensive internal and external factors in terms of e-intermediary use as an interesting topic for future research.

The Maa speaking Torobo people inhabiting the southern portion of the Mau Escarpment in Kenya approach both individual and community survival from a relational orientation focused on ethnic identity and responsibility. This social responsibility to the tribe is in stark contrast to Torobo relationships with other ethnic groups. The purpose of the research is twofold. First, the paper explores how folkloric language through a trickster image reflects important cultural and social ideals, understandings, and patterns of thought in Torobo world view. A second purpose is to offer ethnographic information to scholars and students' alike necessary for world view studies of eastern Africa specifically focused on the interplay between anthropomorphic tales and the social context in which these stories are utilized. The key research question for this analysis asks how the trickster image in Torobo folklore conceptualize the life experience. A Torobo folktale entitled, The Clever Hare, is the text chosen for analysis with the hare character as the protagonist. A second query explores the importance of the trickster image in understanding Torobo world view categories of Self and Other. The analysis contributes an ethnographic perspective for the world view categories of Self and Other as well as trickster folklore by examining the nature of Torobo-ness using the tale of the cunning hare as a research tool.

Selfies are a popular form of photography. However, due to physical constraints, the compositions of selfies are limited. We present algorithms for creating virtual portraits with interesting compositions from a set of selfies. The selfies are taken at the same location while the user spins around. The scene is analyzed using multiple selfies to determine the locations of the camera, subject, and background. Then, a view from a virtual camera is synthesized. We present two use cases. After rearranging the distances between the camera, subject, and background, we render a virtual view from a camera with a longer focal length. Following that, changes in perspective and lens characteristics caused by new compositions and focal lengths are simulated. Second, a virtual panoramic view with a larger field of view is rendered, with the user's image placed in a preferred location. In our experiments, virtual portraits with a wide range of focal lengths were obtained using a device equipped with a lens that has only one focal length. The rendered portraits included compositions that would be photographed with actual lenses. Our proposed algorithms can provide new use cases in which selfie compositions are not limited by a camera's focal length or distance from the camera.

The purpose of this study was to understand sexuality expressed in fashion in a discursive view and reinterpret sexuality represented in fashion in the 19th century in Foucauldian post-structural perspective. As for methodology, at first the conception of sexuality was examined from structural feminism to post-structural pluralism by a literature review and discussed in relation with the matters of body and fashion on the basis of Foucault's discourse. Then, sexuality represented in the 19C fashion as a case study was re-estimated in terms of power relationship between dominant and oppositional discourses and mainstream fashion and anti-fashion as well. The conception of sexuality in Foucauldian post-structuralism maintains the view of plural sexuality, which floats by discourse and power produced in a specific historical context. In the Foucauldian perspective sexuality expressed in the mainstream fashion and anti-fashion in the nineteenth century shows the following aspects. The mainstream fashion in the middle and latter of the 19C made the clear sexual difference in dress of plain and functional male suit and extravagant and decorative female dress on the center of bourgeois masculinity in the context of modernity and capitalism. Although anti-fashion was also co-existed with the mainstream fashion, it was criticized by the Victorian people. It codifies sexual ideology of the binary opposition of male domination and female subordination. Therefore, the traditional sexual ideology in the 19C is a capitalist value, which gives a priority to bourgeois man's profits, and the Victorian discourses of sexuality constructs the clear sexual difference in dress in the period.

연구목적: 건설업은 복합공정이 동시에 진행되는 복잡한 메커니즘으로 사고 발생 빈도 와 강도가 다른 산업보다 높은 비중을 차지하고 있으며, 사고 사망만인율 또한 전 산업의 50% 이상 차지하고 있다. 이런 사고 감소를 위해 정부의 재해조사 방법에 대해 시스템 안전 관점에서 한계를 분석하여 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법: 정부의 중대 재해조사에 대한 주요 내용을 파악하고, 시스템 안전 관점에서 효과성/타당성을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 법규 위반 및 준수에 맞춰진 재해조사 및 분석기법은 근원적인 해결방안을 제시하기에 한계가 있었으며, 안전 제약, 제어, 계층별 상호작용을 접목할 때 시스템 전체의 구성 요소별로 사고 예방을 위한 대안 제시가 가능했다. 결론:현재의 사고분석 방법에서 시스템 안전 관점의 재해조사 및 분석 방법을 접목할 때 계층별 상호작용의 문제점과 의사소통 과정의 문제점을 확인할 수 있어 통합적 관점에서 사고 예방을 위한 대안 제시가 가능하다.

운전자의 시야는 차량 구조 등 물리적인 요소들로 인해 차량 주변 환경에 대한 사각지대가 존재한다. 사각지대에 존재하는 장애물은 차량 파손 및 인사 사고의 원인이 된다. 차량 주변의 사각지대 개선을 위해 최근 출시되는 차량에는 장애물 감지 센서, 후방 카메라 등 운전자의 시각에서 벗어난 곳의 장애물에 대한 정보를 제공하기 위한 장치들과 차량 주변 환경을 영상으로 제공하는 AVM(Around View Monitoring) 시스템 등 안전 운행을 위한 전장 장치들이 장착되고 있다. 운전자는 후진 주행이나 좁은 골목길 주행시 이러한 장치들에서 제공되는 차량 주변 환경에 대한 정보를 얻음으로써 안전 운행에 도움을 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 운전자의 시야 개선을 위해 차량의 전, 후, 좌, 우에 4대의 카메라를 부착하여 차량 주변을 한 눈에 볼 수 있는 통합된 Bird's Eye View를 제공하는 4SM 시스템을 설계하고 구현한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 4SM 시스템은 전, 후, 좌, 우 4대의 카메라로부터 입력된 영상을 통합된 하나의 영상으로 제공함으로써 운전자가 한 눈에 차량 주변 상황을 인식할 수 있도록 한다.

Medical Science in general is a study dedicated to human. It is important to understand how human is being seen in medical science. The difference of this perspective among various medical science in different parts of the world shows the difference in ways of understanding human, and furthermore, difference in ways of understanding diseases. On the other side, Oriental Medicines tends to perceive human as a whole. Heo Joon's perspective on human is elaborated in his book, Dongeuibogam. The foundation of this perspective is found is the Thesis of Four Generals and Five Constants, Neijing. There are many discussions in the Thesis of Four Generals and Five Constants, which include the thesis of correspondence between nature and human: which define the relationship between human and nature in terms of four generals and five constants, and the thesis of xing and color: which offers the tool of making diagnosis on Four Generals and Five Constants, since xing and color designates the result of Four Generals and Five Constants. Other methods are also merely ways of expressing Four Generals and Five Constants in different angle. After all, the perspective of human shown by Heo Joon can be explained in one word as the thesis of Four Generals and Five Constants, and the principles of its theory, which are the thesis of correspondence between nature and human and the thesis of xing and color are also nothing more than a tool of underatanding Four Generals and Five Constants more efficiently.

제천지역의 다양한도시의 형태를 입체적으로 조망해 볼 수 있도록 하기 위하여 입체 지형조감도를 작성하였고, 이를 시공간에서 동영상으로 보여주기 위하여 3차원 시뮬레이션을 실시할 수 있도록 하였다. 입체 조감도의 제작은 투시기법을 이용한 이미지 제작 기법을 이용하였으며, 그 기본재료가 되는 영상들은 다음과 같이 준비하도록 하였다. 준비영상으로는 우리나라 아리랑 위성의 EOC 영상을 이용하도록 하였으며, 국립지리원에서 국가기본도로 제작한 1/5,000 수치지도의 등고선으로부터 추출하여 임의로 오차가 보정된 DEM 생성과 1/1,000 수지지도의 도로 래이어 벡터 파일로 제작된 도로선을 분류하여 대상지의 3차원 영상위에 중첩시켜 처리하는 것으로 하였다. 특히 이번 연구에 사용한 도심지역의 도로망 구성 데이터는 새주소 부여를 위해 제작된 1/1,000축척의 간선도로를 최대한 이용함으로서 새주소에서 사용하게 될 주소체계와의 연계성을 크게 염두에 두어 제작하도록 연구하였다.
