  • Most recommendation systems recommend the products or other information satisfying preferences of users on the basis of the users' previous profile information and other information related to product searches and purchase of users visiting web sites. This study aims to apply these application categories to e-mail more necessary to users. The E-Mail System has the strong personality so that there will be some problems even if e-mails are automatically classified by category through the learning on the basis of the personal rules. In consideration with this aspect, we need the semi-automatic system enabling both automatic classification and recommendation method to enhance the satisfaction of users. Accordingly, this paper uses two approaches as the solution against the misclassification that the users consider as the accuracy of classification itself using the dynamic threshold in Bayesian Learning Algorithm and the second one is the methodological approach using the recommendation agent enabling the users to make the final decision.

다수의 결과를 고려한 한국의 도로교통사고 연관규칙분석 (Association Rules for Road Traffic Ayccident in Korea with Multiple Outcomes)

  • In many cases, the result of a road traffic accident can be described with more than one response variables. Nonetheless, most of the existing road accident data analysis deal with only one response variable and try to explain why it occurs. In this paper, we train association rules for a set of more than two response variables conditional on personal, environmental and vehicular/behavioral aspects of accident. Association rules are derived at 8% support and 70% confidence from the 1996 data of three police stations in Korea. We expect that these rules can contribute to effective safety practice in Korea.

  • This paper deals with an automated computer-aided process planning system by which designer can determine operation sequences even if they have little experience in process planning of wheel bolt products by a multi-stage former. The approach to the system is based on knowledge-based rules and a process knowledge base consisting of design rules is built. Knowledge for the system is formulated from plasticity theories, empirical results and the empirical knowledge of field experts. Programs for the system have been written in AutoLISP for the AutoCAD using a personal computer and are composed of two main modules. An attempt is made to link programs incorporationg a number of expert design rules to form a useful package. Results obtained using the modules enable the designer and manufacturer of wheel bolt product to be more efficient in this field.

Creating Method for Multi-Size Web View Based on Query Restructuring Rules

  • In this paper, we propose query restructure method which realizes not only to present the result from database in Web page but also to adapt user's browsing environments. Recently, wireless PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and portable phone and terminals equipped with Web browser become very popular. Various browsers would be required to create the HTML which adapt to the user's browsing environment. We propose an adaptive data presentation system which is an extension of SQL which creates HTML pages dynamically adapting to the size of screen. In our proposed method, the three basic rules for the layout conversion are provided and applying these rules, an efficient layout conversion technique optimized to user environment is proposed. Moreover, we propose a standard for converting layouts and a layout optimization for adaptive conversion of layouts.

Coreference Resolution을 위한 3인칭 대명사의 선행사 결정 규칙 (Antecedent Decision Rules of Personal Pronouns for Coreference Resolution)

  • 정보 검색 시스템에서 문서의 내용을 대표하는 용어를 추출하거나 정보 추출 및 텍스트 마이닝에서 특정 정보만을 추출하려면 고유명사에 대한 대용어 문제가 해결되어야 한다. 대용어 해소 문제는 인칭 명사에 대한 대명사의 선행사 결정 문제가 대표적이다. 본 논문에서는 한국어에서 문서의 내용을 보다 정확히 분석하기 위해 3인칭 대명사 “그/그녀/그들/그녀들”의 선행사를 결정하는 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 3인칭 대명사의 선행사는 현재 문장 또는 이전 문장의 주어인 경우가 많고, 또한 3인칭 대명사가 2회 이상 반복되는 경우가 자주 발생한다. 이러한 특성을 이용하여 현재 문장과 이전 문장에 출현한 인칭 명사들 중에서 선행사로 사용되는 경우를 조사하여 선행사 결정 규칙을 발견하였다. 이 경험 규칙은 3인칭 대명사의 격에 따라 조금씩 달라지기 때문에 대명사의 격에 따라 주격, 목적격, 소유격으로 구분하여 기술하였다. 제안한 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 신문 기사의 정치 관련 문서에서 대명사의 격에 따라 100개씩 총 300개의 실험 대상을 선정하였으며, 실험 결과로 3인칭 대명사의 선행사 결정 정확도는 재현율이 79.0%, 정확률이 86.8%로 나타났다.

최근린 배차 규칙 기반 온라인 Personal Rapid Transit 배차 알고리즘 (An Online Personal Rapid Transit Dispatching Algorithm Based on Nearest Neighbor Dispatching Rule)

  • Personal Rapid Transit (PRT)는 차세대 대중교통 수단으로 에너지 효율적이며 높은 수준의 고객 서비스를 제공한다. 정류장에 동적으로 도착한 고객이 운송 서비스를 요청하면 PRT 시스템은 차량을 배차한다. 본 연구에서는 PRT 시스템을 위한 새로운 온라인 배차 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 제시된 알고리즘은 최근린(nearest neighbor) 배차 규칙을 기반으로 개발되었으며, 이분 매칭(bipartite matching)을 사용하여 다수의 PRT 차량과 고객을 동시에 고려하여 배차를 결정한다. 이 경우 전체 차량 중 배차 대상 차량의 선택 범위가 성능지표에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 차량의 상태를 고려하여 체계적으로 배차 차량을 선택하는 방법을 제시한다. 성능지표로 공차 이동거리와 고객 대기시간을 고려하였으며, 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용하여 배차 선택 범위에 따른 성능지표의 차이를 확인하였다. 그리고 기존의 배차 규칙과 비교하여 본 연구에서 제시하는 방법론이 우수하며 PRT 시스템에 적합한 것을 확인하였다.

개인화된 분류를 위한 웹 메일 필터링 에이전트 (Design and Implementation of Web Mail Filtering Agent for Personalized Classification)

  • 인터넷의 발달로 인하여 웹을 통한 문서 송수신이 많아지면서 이메일의 사용자도 기하급수적으로 늘어나고 있다. 또한 일반 사용자나 전자상거래에서 오가는 메일의 양도 갈수록 늘어나고 있다. 편리하다는 점을 이용해서 엄청난 양의 스팸 메일도 매일 같이 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 개인에 맞게 메일을 자동 관리해 주는 즉 개인화된 분류가 가능하고, 또 언제 어디서나 로그인이 가능한 웹 메일 기반인 웹 메일 필터링 에이전트(Web Mail Filtering Agent for Personalized Classification)를 제안한다. 새로운 메일이 오면, 먼저 사용자의 메일 처리과정을 일정 기간 관찰하여 각각 개인에 맞는 룰(Personal rule)을 형성하고, 만들어진 룰을 바탕으로 메시지를 자동 관리 즉 카테고리별 분류ㆍ저장 및 개인에게 불필요한 메일이나 스팸 메일을 삭제 해 주는 것이다. 또한 시스템의 정확도를 높이기 위해 동적 임계치를 이용한 베이지안 알고리즘을 적용하였다.

D와 C등급 전신 보호복의 치수, 여유분, 그레이딩 편차 및 착의 평가 (Dimensions, Ease, Grading Rule, and Wear Sensation for Commercial D and C Levels of Personal Protective Clothing)

  • This study examined personal protective clothing, specifically the D (M, L, XL) and C (L, XL, 2XL) levels with high sales rates. The goal was to collect essential data for developing Korean personal protective clothing. There were eight and twelve patterns for the D-level and C-level, respectively. While the pattern dimensions were similar, the chest and waist circumferences (relaxed) were larger in the C-level, and the waist (extended), hip, upper arm circumference, and total lengths were larger in the D-level. The D-level wear sensation worked well for average-sized Koreans in their twenties, but the C-level caused discomfort in multiple areas, such as the face, arms, armpits, hips, crotch, thighs, and knee during movement. Consequently, this region required pattern adjustments and resetting for improved comfort. The grading rules were 10 cm in the chest, waist, and hip circumference, regardless of the level, with slight differences in other parts depending on the levels. Thus, manufacturers should establish new grading rules to suit the Korean body shape.

연관 분류 마이닝 기법을 활용한 지식기반 신체활동 평가 모델 (A Knowledge Based Physical Activity Evaluation Model Using Associative Classification Mining Approach)

  • Recently, as interest of wearable devices has increased, commercially available smart wristbands and applications have been used as a tool for personal healthy management. However most previous studies have focused on evaluating the accuracy and reliability of the technical problems of wearable devices, especially step counts, walking distance, and energy consumption measured from the smart wristbands. In this study, we propose a physical activity evaluation model using classification rules, induced from the associative classification mining approach. These rules associated with five physical activities were generated by considering activities and walking times in target heart rate zones such as 'Out-of Zone', 'Fat Burn Zone', 'Cardio Zone', and 'Peak Zone'. In the experiment, we evaluated the prediction power of classification rules and verified its effectiveness by comparing classification accuracies between the proposed model and support vector machine.

간호사가 인식하는 병원윤리풍토가 상사신뢰와 조직유효성에 미치는 영향에 대한 경로분석 (Path analysis of the Influence of Hospital Ethical Climate Perceived by Nurses on Supervisor Trust and Organizational Effectiveness)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the paths of influence that a hospital's ethical climate exerts on nurses' organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, with supervisor trust as the mediating factor, and verify compatibility of the models in hospital nurses. Methods: The sample consisted of 374 nurses recruited from four hospitals in 3 cities in Korea. The measurements included the Ethical Climate Questionnaire, Supervisor Trust Questionnaire, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Questionnaire. Ethical Climate Questionnaire consisted of 6 factors; benevolence, personal morality, company rules and procedures, laws and professional codes, self-interest and efficiency. Data were analysed using SPSS version 18.0 and AMOS version 18.0. Results: Supervisor trust was explained by benevolence and self-interest (29.8%). Organizational commitment was explained by benevolence, supervisor trust, personal morality, and rules and procedures (40.4%). Organizational citizenship behavior was explained by supervisor trust, laws and codes, and benevolence (21.8%). Conclusion: Findings indicate that managers need to develop a positive hospital ethical climate in order to improve nurses' trust in supervisors, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior.
