Signifying clothes can be defined as a process in which a clothes obtains a symbolic meaning by confining its use and purpose. In this paper we catagorize the process of signifying clothes that appears in the Byongkut as follows : first removing the clothes, secondly putting on the clothes, and thirdly burning off the clothes. Removing the clothes is a process of dramatic realization and clearly shows proven facts about the things that will occur in the process. Putting on the clothes is a process of falsified expression in which the interest is transferred from the person who wears the clothes to the clothes itself by the shaman's insinuation who leads an interpretation about the clothes. Buring off the clothes is a pro-cess of mystification in which the end of Byongkut is sublimated mistiriously by making the partici-pants believe with the burning that the clothes and the diseases have been curred, and therefore, the ritual is kept from spoiling. The clothes used in Byongkut that religious belief and belief system are expressed through behavior style, and that supernatural power is designed to reveal is related with the various aspects of symbolic life indicated by the clothes.

Environment-friendly agricultural products market has been experiencing various change through the quantitative growth in Korea. The food safety is considered seriously and the interest of the consumer is increasing about environment-friendly agricultural products and organic agricultural products. Environment-friendly agricultural products is encouraged in the link of the counter-measure which follows in the market opening. This research aims at making shorter the distance between the productive person and the consumer and to improve the income for organic farm and the price competitiveness for Environment-friendly agricultural products through the present condition analysis for organic produce's production, distribution and consumption market. To solve the problems above, the development of strategies for the establishment of distribution system for the organic produce's stable supply and the improvement of price competitiveness, the establishment of the cooperating system on the produce's demand and supply, the improvement of consumer's reliability by reinforcement with connectivity and transparency of the process, and the vitalization of regional economy and the exchange of rural and city area are needed.

This study is to analyze the dress symbolism described in the traditional Korean narrative focusing on the psychological side. As a result of the analysis, human nature and personality were characterized as following : integrity and feminine modesty among others. These characteristics prove that human nature and personality are symbolized by dress. Through protagonists'dress in the traditional Korean narrative, the quality and price of texture, attire, clothing selection according to the situation, appearance in dress, grade of interest towards costume, and behavior that accompany the costume, it was symbolically expressed the personality of the person who wear the dress. Feeling and psychological state were represented by joy, anger, affection, and hatred. Also, it was observed that the feeling and the psychological state are symbolized through the costume ; however, these two characteristics are symbolized not only with costume itself but also with the behavior that accompanies the situation and costume. The latter were considered more important factor than the former.

We propose a novel multiple-object tracking algorithm for real-time intelligent video surveillance. We adopt particle filtering as our tracking framework. Background modeling and subtraction are used to generate a region of interest. A two-step pedestrian detection is employed to reduce the computation time of the algorithm, and an iterative particle repropagation method is proposed to enhance its tracking accuracy. A matching score for greedy data association is proposed to assign the detection results of the two-step pedestrian detector to trackers. Various experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm tracks multiple objects accurately and precisely in real time.

This study examined books of youngsters who struggled with typical problems in adolescent period. Literature could be used as an effective tool for helping young people cope with developmental change. In bibliotherapy, the counselor provides guidance in the solution of personal problems through directed reading. Young people would solve and overcome their problems after reading useful books. So we need to carefully select books for the Youth. Selecting high-quality books that match the young person's reading level and interest were very important. Twenty three books that offer solutions that are likely to be successful in the young people's situation were gathered by 322 participants. Method of collecting materials was through a questionnaire. In addition results based on obtaining books showed that counselors provided reading guidances and were concerned with quality materials.

Recently, as stress has become a major threat to people's health, there is a growing interest in wearable stress management services for stress relief. In this paper, we developed a wearable device(Care-on) capable of extracting changeable human voice information at each site and a Healthcare App(S-Manager) that enables stress management in real time using the wearable device. It collects and analyzes variable real-time voice information for each part of the person's body. And It also provides the ability to monitor stress conditions in a mobile environment and provide feedback on the analysis results in step by step in the mobile environment. We tested the developed wearable devices and app in a mobile environment and analyzed the results to confirm their usefulness.

With the high interest on robot technology and application, the research on artificial auditory systems for robot is very active. In this paper we discuss sound source localization and tracing based on audio-visual information. For video signals we use face detection based on skin color model. Also, binaural-based DOA is used as audio information. We integrate both informations using Kalman filter. The experimental results show that audio-visual person tracking Is useful, specially in the case that some informations are not observed.

Human mobility estimation plays a key factor in a lot of promising applications including location-based recommendation systems, urban planning, and disease outbreak control. We study the human mobility estimation problem in the case where recent locations of a person-of-interest are unknown. Since matrix decomposition is used to perform latent semantic analysis of multi-dimensional data, we propose a human location estimation algorithm based on matrix factorization to reconstruct the human movement patterns through the use of information of persons with correlated movements. Specifically, the optimization problem which minimizes the difference between the reconstructed and actual movement data is first formulated. Then, the gradient descent algorithm is applied to adjust parameters which contribute to reconstructed mobility data. The experiment results show that the proposed framework can be used for the prediction of human location and achieves higher predictive accuracy than a baseline model.

There is an increasing interest in health and research on methods for measuring human body information. The importance of continuously observing information such as the step change and the walking speed is increasing. At a person's gait, information about the disease and the currently weakened area can be known. In this paper, gait is measured using wearable walking module built in shoes. We want to make continuous measurement possible by simplifying gait measurement method. This module is designed to receive information of gyro sensor and acceleration sensor. The designed module is capable of WiFi communication and the collected walking information is stored in the server. The information stored in the server is corrected by integrating the acceleration sensor and the gyro sensor value. A band-pass filter was used to reduce the error. This data is categorized by the Gait Finder into walking and waiting states. When walking, each step is divided and stored separately for analysis.

This paper presents a margin-based face liveness detection method with behavioral confirmation to prevent spoofing attacks using deep learning techniques. The proposed method provides a possibility to prevent biometric person authentication systems from replay and printed spoofing attacks. For this work, a set of real face images and fake face images was collected and a face liveness detection model is trained on the constructed dataset. Traditional face liveness detection methods exploit the face image covering only the face regions of the human head image. However, outside of this region of interest (ROI) might include useful features such as phone edges and fingers. The proposed face liveness detection method was experimentally tested on the author's own dataset. Collected databases are trained and experimental results show that the trained model distinguishes real face images and fake images correctly.
