The Validation Test process and CTE Suitability Evaluation based on IEC-61508 for Improving Safety and Reliability on Unmanned ICT Parcel Storage

  • In modern society, since the expansion of the e-commerce market and the spread of the pandemic, face-to-face business are gradually changing to non-face-to-face. In the logistics industry, the demand for unmanned courier storage is increasing due to lack of loading space from urbanization and courier theft accidents. As the demand for unmanned parcel lockers increases, improved functions such as food storage and efficient space loading are required. This study develops an integrated model-based evaluation procedure of product based on performance factors according to the IEC 61508 standard for newly unmanned parcel storage devices with active loading technology, and derive Critical Technology Element based on the product's core functions and performance goals. As proposing these research, We expect improve the safety and reliability of development targets by identifying and evaluating elements.

Evaluations of AI-based malicious PowerShell detection with feature optimizations

  • Cyberattacks are often difficult to identify with traditional signature-based detection, because attackers continually find ways to bypass the detection methods. Therefore, researchers have introduced artificial intelligence (AI) technology for cybersecurity analysis to detect malicious PowerShell scripts. In this paper, we propose a feature optimization technique for AI-based approaches to enhance the accuracy of malicious PowerShell script detection. We statically analyze the PowerShell script and preprocess it with a method based on the tokens and abstract syntax tree (AST) for feature selection. Here, tokens and AST represent the vocabulary and structure of the PowerShell script, respectively. Performance evaluations with optimized features yield detection rates of 98% in both machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) experiments. Among them, the ML model with the 3-gram of selected five tokens and the DL model with experiments based on the AST 3-gram deliver the best performance.

  • 2016년 12월 케이뱅크를 필두로 한국에서 인터넷은행이 본격적으로 출범하였다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라보다 먼저 영업을 시작한 해외의 성공사례를 분석하여, 시작점에 서 있는 국내 인터넷은행의 발전 방안을 제시하였다. 유럽, 일본, 중국, 미국 등 다수의 해외 성공 사례 분석을 통해 인터넷은행의 핵심 성공요인으로 정부 차원의 적극적인 지원 정책, 사업자들의 안정적인 지배/소유 구조 확립, ICT 기반의 차별화된 비즈니스 역량 보유 등이 식별되었다. 이러한 성공요인이 한국의 인터넷은행에 시사하는 바로 혁신의 원활한 실행을 담보하기 위한 은행의 경영 및 소유와 관련한 규제 완화, 4차 산업 혁명의 핵심 동력인 인터넷은행에 대한 적극적인 진흥 정책 도입, ICT 기반의 차별화 영역 발굴 등을 제시하였다. 향후 연구 방향으로는 국내 인터넷은행의 연간 실적과 전개 상황 등을 면밀하게 분석하여, 사업자 관점에서의 성공 포인트를 보다 상세하게 밝히고, 나아가 국내 금융 시장 및 국가 경제 활성화에 미칠 영향력과 기대 효과 등을 도출하는 것이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • FinTech, which has brought innovation to the financial industry thanks to the advancements in ICT since 2010, has contributed to the growth of the financial ecosystem and increased consumer benefits. Furthermore, there has been a growing demand for social responsibility and sustainability in financial institutions, which have a significant impact on governments, businesses, and people's lives. Despite this, many FinTech companies and traditional financial institutions are still in the early stages of establishing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management philosophy or lack long-term plans. In this study, we aim to examine the impact of ESG management on the FinTech industry, focusing on representative domestic cases, and derive policy and institutional measures to spread it in the financial industry. Specifically, we will adopt MSCI rating indicators, which are internationally accepted by various industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation, to evaluate the 35 ESG management subcategories of FinTech companies. As a result, a total of 22 compliance items were disclosed in the ESG report, and it was possible to confirm the detailed management. Through this, we intend to propose effective management strategies for the organizational structure, operations, programs, and performance evaluation of FinTech companies, which are positioning themselves as sustainable growth drivers in the domestic industry.

협력주행 서비스를 위한 차량통신시스템 성능 분석 (Performance of Inter Vehicle Communication System for Cooperative Driving Service)

  • ITS services are quickly evolving due to the convergence of ICT technologies. WAVE technology based on IEEE802.11p specification has been introduced for the high speed vehicle communication and applied into the transportation system for driving safety and convenience. Recently, WAVE technology as a inter vehicle communication is used for cooperative driving application. In this paper, the implemented inter vehicle communication system is introduced and suggested as a solution for V2X communication. The performance of the implemented inter vehicle communication system is tested and analyzed under various conditions.

  • The performance of US economy in the last cecade is considered to be driven by the IT investment. However, the causal relationship has not been conclsive between IT investment and economic performance, which makes a decision in IT investment tricky. IT as a growth strategy is critical to the developing countries which experienced resource constraint. In case IT acts as a driving force in the new technology paradigm, the less investment in IT will continue to which the growth gap between countries. When IT dose not make a significant contribution to growth, heavy investment in IT means misallocations of resources. 기업의 환경적 특성에 따른 혁신활동과 기업성과간 영향요인 분석 : ICT분야 중소기업을 중심으로 (Analysis of Influential Factors in the Relationship between Innovation Efforts Based on the Company's Environment and Company Performance: Focus on Small and Medium ICT Companies)

  • 본 연구에서는 내 외부 환경, 혁신활동이 기업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하기 위해 탐색적 요인분석(Exploratory Factor Analysis), 군집분석(Cluster Analysis), 구조방정식모형(Structural Equation Modeling)을 이용하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 7개의 요인이 추출하였으며, 추출된 요인을 기반으로 군집분석을 시도하였더니 총 4개의 군집(n=1,022)이 형성되었다. 군집 4개의 대해 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 실증분석을 한 결과, 기술 경쟁 환경에 민감하며, 혁신적인 성향을 가진 군집1은 자체기술개발만이 기업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시장 환경에 민감하며, 내향적인 성향을 가진 군집2는 자체기술개발과 공동연구를 통해서만 기업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 경쟁적인 환경에 민감하며, 혁신적이고 정부/관련기관과의 협력적 성향을 가진 군집3은 공동연구 그리고 매개변수인 정부지원프로그램 활용을 통해 기업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 기술도입은 기업성과에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 개방적이고 외부협력적 성향이 강한 군집4는 자체기술개발과 매개변수인 네트워크 활용 및 정부지원프로그램 활용이 기업성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Implementation Method for the Achievement of the Korea High-Performance Computing Innovation Strategy

  • At the 8th National High-Performance Computing (HPC) Committee convened in 2021, the "National High-Performance Computing Innovation Strategy (draft) for the 4th Industrial Revolution Era" was deliberated and the original draft was approved. In this proposal, the Ministry of Science and ICT in KOREA announced three major plans and nine detailed projects with the vision of "Realizing the 4th industrial revolution quantum jumping by leaping into a high-performance computing powerhouse." Thereby the most important policy about national mid-term and long-term HPC development was established and called the HPC innovation strategy (hereinafter "the innovation strategy"). The three plans of the innovation strategy proposed by the government are: Strategic HPC infrastructure expansion; Secure source technologies; and Activate innovative HPC utilization. Each of the detailed projects has to be executed nationally and strategically. In this paper, we propose a strategy for the implementation of two items ("Strategic HPC infrastructure expansion" and "activate innovative HPC utilization") among these detailed plans.

DEA모형을 활용한 나노기술 분야 국가 R&D 과제의 효율성 분석 (Measuring Efficiency of National R&D Programs within Nanotechnology Field Using DEA Model)

  • Recently, nanotechnology has grown as one of the leading science technology along with other converging technologies such as biology, information, medicine etc., bringing the continuous investment of the government in nano-related field. However, it is difficult to measure and evaluate the performance of the national research and development programs because of the multidimensional character of the expected outcomes. This study aims to measuring efficiency of the national nanotechnology research and development programs using DEA model. The decision making units are nine nano-related ministries including the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. The input variables are total expenditure, number of the programs and average expenditure per program. The output variables are science, technology and economic indicator, and the combination of these outputs are respectively measured as seven different DEA cases. The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future was the first efficient ministry in total technical efficiency. Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety were efficient in pure technical efficiency, when the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy took the first in the scale efficiency. The program efficiency was affected by organizational characteristics such as the institution's scale, the concentration of the research paper or the patent, technology transfer or the commercialization. The result of this study could be utilized in development of the policy in the nanotechnology and the related field. Furthermore, it could be applied for the modification of expenditure management or the adjustment of the research and development programs' input and output scale for each ministry.

정부의 R&D 지원방식에 따른 성과비교 - ICT 중소기업지원 R&D를 중심으로 - (Comparative study on the National R&D performance according to the Government's Funding style)

  • 우리나라는 R&D투자 정책을 적극적으로 추진한 결과 과학기술 발전을 통한 경제성장을 이룩하여 왔고, 세계 선진 각국에서도 과학기술을 중요한 국가 아젠다로 삼으면서 신기술 개발이나 사회문제 해결을 위한 해결책으로 과학기술 정책을 적극적으로 펼치면서 R&D에 대한 적극적인 투자를 시행하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우도 2014년 기준으로 정부의 R&D투자 예산은 17조 7천억원의 거대한 규모로 확대되고 있으며, 각각의 연구주체들에 의해 수행되어진 결과로 나오는 다양한 종류의 연구성과에 대한 성과관리의 중요성은 점점 더해가고 있는 실정이다. 한편, 연구개발 투자에 대한 성과의 효율성이라는 측면에 있어서 염려의 목소리도 만만치 않은 실정이다. 이는 연구성과를 창출하기 위한 프로세스, 즉 연구기획, 선정, 수행관리, 결과평가, 사후관리 및 사업화 등의 과정들을 철저하고 효율적으로 관리하여야 한다는 측면에서 접근할 수도 있겠으나, 중소기업을 지원하는 정부의 R&D 지원형태에 있어서는 정부의 지원방식에 따라, 즉 출연(국가 등이 반대급부 없이 예산이나 기금에서 지원하는 방식)지원이나 융자지원(일정한 금리와 상환기간을 정해놓고 지원하는 방식)에 따라 도출되는 성과의 차이가 있을 수 있다는 점에 착안하여 그 두가지 지원방식에 따른 성과에 있어서의 차이점을 비교해 보고, 그 결과에 따라 정부가 중소기업을 대상으로 지원하는 방식에 대한 방향성을 제시해 보고자 한다.
