The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among innovation activities, innovation performance, and management performance of export firms. I first undertake a review of previous studies related to innovation activity, innovation performance, and export firms' innovation. Based on this, I set up a research model and hypotheses. First, The innovation activity is classified into product innovation activity, process innovation activity, and administrative innovation activity. Innovation performance is divided into product quality improvement and cost reduction. And the business performance is regarded as financial performance of export's firms. This study examined whether innovation activity affect innovation performance such as product quality improvement and cost reduction. In addition, I examined whether these innovation performance affects business performance (financial performance). To achieve this, a total of 368 questionnaires are used in this study and PLS (Partial Least Square) was used to analyze structural equation. As a result, this study shows that product innovation activity have a positive effect on product quality improvement, and process innovation activity also have a positive effect on product quality improvement. However, it was found that neither product innovation activity nor process innovation activity had an effect on cost reduction. And it was found that administrative innovation did not affect product quality improvement, but had a positive effect on cost reduction. Also, it was found that quality improvement, which is an innovation performance, did not affect the financial performance of export's firms, and cost reduction, which is an innovation performance, had a positive effect on the financial performance of the export's firms.

The overall performance of BISDN depends significantly on the interconnection network or the switch fabric. Hence, it is extremely important to evaluate the performance of the network or the fabric. The well developed performance models also provide insight into the factors that determine design tradeoffs as well as quantitative estimates of their importance. The objective of this paper is to investigate and critically compare all the developed performance analysis models of FPS according to internal switch fabric structure, traffic assumptions, performance measures, methodologies, etc. FPSs are described according to their internal fabric structure. Brief history of FPS performance analysis is mentioned and performance analysis modeling is discussed.

A performance measurement system for safety management was suggested with which performance of a company's safety activities can be expressed rationally, and analysis of impact with performance improvement. A key of the measurement system is performance index of the safety management activities, which consists of 3 perspectives; an external perspective, an internal perspective, and a innovation & learning perspective. Every perspective consists of 18 performance indices and each indices consist of activity unit a such planning, support, implementation, evaluation and review.

In order to investigate performance changes, the acceleration, vibration, and braking performance tests were carried out on the electric multiple units (EMUs) with over 20 years operation. According to the testing results, in vibration and braking performance, the similar performance results were obtained as compared with newly manufactured EMUs. However, in terms of acceleration performance, below reference value (3.0 km/h/s) has been obtained. This is mainly due to performance deterioration including traction motor. The precision diagnosis evaluation of deteriorated EMUs will be provided through the overall evaluation of corrosion testing and structural performance of car body.

The performance-art costume is a tool for expression that can dynamically display the intention of a production. The purpose of this study is to examine the whole costume for performance arts targeting musical works, to which were added such elements as music, dance, and drama, among performance arts in several genres. This study aims to consider how the symbol contained in the costume was intended to be expressed by inferring a change in performance costume and character as the stage costume. Accordingly, the following research problems were established in this study. First, Which role does the costume play in performance art? Second, into which types can the performance-art costume be classified depending on the kind of performance art? Third, what is the expressive method for the performance-art costume? To examine the types of performance-art costume, the acting costume, the singing costume, the dancing costume and the rhythmic performance costume were considered. As a result, the performance costume can be seen to have been designed through the effect of a change in color by lighting, through the differentiation of character caused by excessive decoration, through the differentiation in material for free movement, and through symbolic expression.

PURPOSE: This study was to investigate examined the differences in the autonomic nervous functions of elite female judo athletes according to their performance by measuring the heart rate variability (HRV). METHODS: Sixteen elite female judo players participated in this study. The participants were divided into a high performance and low performance group according to the results of their competitions. The HRV (mean heart rate, SDNN, RMSSD, TP, LF, HF, LF/HF ratio) was measured in the resting status. A t-test was used to compare the two groups, and bivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to determine the HRV elements that affect performance. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 24.0 (IBM Co., Armonk, NY, USA). RESULTS: The mean heart rate was higher in the high performance group (72.88) than in the low performance group (64.75) (p=.049). The LF/HF ratio was higher in the high performance group (3.43) than in the low performance group (0.83), and the results were significant (p=.038). No HRV elements having a significant effect on the performance were observed. CONCLUSION: This study showed that the activity of the sympathetic nervous system was dominant in the high performance group in the resting status than in the low performance. The high performance group is believed to be in the overtraining status who experience more stress.

As lighting energy consumption in buildings occupies high ratio, technical researches to solve it have been constantly carried out. However, basic studies on light environment performance evaluation is actually deficient and only at a level of a simple illumination monitoring. Thus, this study has suggest a light environment energy performance evaluation based on actual residence environments to allow setting lighting interoperation and user required illumination. Conclusions from the study are as follows: 1) As the performance evaluation suggested by this study has not only derived lighting energy usage as well as monitored simple indoor illumination distribution, it is quantitative and allows derivation of visual results. 2) The performance evaluation suggested by this study allows inputs of user required illumination through the performance evaluation server, which is able to support for performance evaluations for various works and users. 3) This study has verified validity of the performance evaluation method by analyzing results of lighting energy reduction by executing performance evaluation on changes of light shelf that is a natural lighting system through the suggested performance evaluation method. This study is significant from a viewpoint that it has suggested a quantitative performance evaluation method on the basis of actual residence environments. Those researches concerned on the energy performance evaluation should be constantly progressed from an aspect that they are another solution of the energy problems.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of CEO's entrepreneurial orientation on innovation performance and business performance, and the mediating effect of innovation performance on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and business performance in small and medium-sized venture-enterprises (SMEs). To test the hypothesized relationships, we have conducted a survey of Korean SMEs. After excluding unanswered and untrustful item questionnaires, the final sample size for this study is 110 SMEs. The major findings of the empirical research are as follows. First, CEO's entrepreneurial orientation had apositive influence on innovation performance of a firm. Second, CEO's entrepreneurial orientation was positively related to business performance of a firm. Third, innovation performance had the partial mediating effect on the relationship between CEO's entrepreneurial orientation and business performance of a firm. That is, this result indicates that CEO's entrepreneurial orientation indirectly effects on business performance through innovation performance. Based on these findings, implications of the research findings are discussed, and recommendation for future research are provided.

This study aims to investigate the impacts of managerial and technical IT knowledges on firm's financial performance. Specifically, the study examines the following three effects between IT personnel knowledges and financial performance: (1) direct effect, (2) mediating effect of business process performance, and (3) moderating effect of firm size, between them. An empirical study resulted in the followings. First, both managerial and technical IT knowledges do not have direct influences on financial performance. Second, unlike technical IT knowledge, managerial IT knowledge indirectly affects financial performance through business process performance, confirming the mediating role of business process performance. Third, while technical IT knowledge produce no direct and indirect effect on financial performance regardless of firm size, managerial IT knowledge exerts significant impacts on financial performance although such effects represent some different patterns according to firm size. That is, in the smaller group, the association between managerial IT knowledge and financial performance is partially mediated by business process performance and in the larger group, that relationship fully mediated.

Performance assessment was introduced to improvement of self-directed learning and method of assessment for differenced learning as the seventh educational curriculum is enforced. Performance assessment is overcoming limitation about problem solving ability and higher thinking abilities assessment that is problem of a written examination and get into the spotlight by way for quality of class and school normalization. But, performance assessment has problems about possibilities of assessment fault by appraisal, fairness, reliability, and validity of grading, ambiguity of grading standard, difficulty about objectivity security etc. This study proposes fuzzy performance assessment system to solve problem of the conventional performance assessment. This paper presented an objective and reliable performance assessment method through fuzzy reasoning, design fuzzy membership function and define fuzzy rule analyzing factor that influence in each sacred ground of performance assessment to account principle subject. Also, performance assessment item divides by formation estimation and subject estimation and designed membership function in proposed performance assessment method. Performance assessment result that is worked through fuzzy performance assessment system can pare down burden about appraisal's fault and provide fair and reliable assessment result through grading that have correct standard and consistency to students.
