  • The basic type construction cost which is the base of the building cost estimation is being adjusted according to the price changes by utilizing the apartment construction cost index in order to flexibly operate it. In this study, we analyzed the change trends and characteristics of the housing cost index for the basic type building cost model project operated from September, 2012 to March, 2018. As a result, the increase in material costs is slight while the share of the labor cost increased in the construction cost due to the rise of labor unit price, leading to a perceived increase in sensitivity of labor costs. We should be careful to keep the sensitivity of the material cost and the labor cost to an appropriate level so that the index may not be distorted.

Based on theoretical frameworks of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), the study has been conducted with 370 questionnaires to consumers who have not yet used and are currently using mobile banking in Thanh Hoa province. The research results indicates that several factors have been evaluated to be more important than others, of which, the social influence is the strongest, the second is the compatibility and some others factors such as perceived ease of use, perceived trust, etc., all affecting the intention to use mobile banking in Thanh Hoa. Based on these important results, the article propose a number of recommendations: (i) Exploiting the advantages of social influence on the increase of intention to use; (ii) Increasing compatibility and minimizing costs for customers when they use Mobile Banking; (iii) Developing a strategy to increase the users' perceived ease of using banking services; (iv) Issuing a policy on increasing the security of Mobile Banking system to meet customers' needs; and (v) Developing an individual customer management system to improve service quality.

With advanced computer technology and declining communication costs, many customers prefer online alternatives such as internet banking, mobile banking or phone banking rather than going to banks by themselves. The number of customers using those alternatives is skyrocketing and domestic commercial banks encourage them of the use. As the internet is highly developed, customers demand higher quality services and banks develop and provide diverse services in order to respond to them. However, internet banking service users are still afraid of their personal and financial information being exposed on the internet. The purpose of this research is to empirically analyze the influence that appropriate internet banking affect user's security intention. The research model proposed in this study includes user's security intention which is influenced by self-efficacy, security trust, Internet banking attitude, perceived security and security intention. According to the result of this study, self-efficacy and security trust are related to the security attitude. There is a significant relationship between security attitude and perceived security. Also, user's security attitude and perceived security is significantly affected by security intention.

  • The present study aimed to investigate the relationships among consumers' personality trait, brand tribalism, and brand commitment through brand trust and perceived switching cost. Data were collected from a convenience sample of three-hundred and ninety-four undergraduate students at a large Korean university. The participants consisted of 54.1% female (N = 213) and 45.9% male (N = 181). The results indicated that extraversion, conscientiousness, and emotional stability traits are directly related to brand tribalism. Also, brand commitment was directly associated with brand tribalism, brand trust, and perceived switching cost. In particular, our results showed the relationship between brand tribalism and brand commitment was mediated by brand trust, but not perceived switching cost. Therefore, our findings suggest that strong emotional connection of brand tribes may increase perceived switching costs and, consequently, affect brand commitment.

  • The number of elderly people with dementia is increasing as fast as the proportion of older people due to aging, which creates a social and economic burden. In particular, dementia care costs, including indirect costs such as increased care costs due to lost caregiver hours and caregivers, have grown exponentially over the years. In order to reduce these costs, it is urgent to introduce a management system to care for dementia patients. Therefore, this study proposes a sensor-based abnormal behavior detection system to manage dementia patients who live alone or in an environment where they cannot always take care of dementia patients. Existing studies were merely evaluating behavior or evaluating normal behavior, and there were studies that perceived behavior by processing images, not data from sensors. In this study, we recognized the limitation of real data collection and used both the auto-encoder, the unsupervised learning model, and the LSTM, the supervised learning model. Autoencoder, an unsupervised learning model, trained normal behavioral data to learn patterns for normal behavior, and LSTM further refined classification by learning behaviors that could be perceived by sensors. The test results show that each model has about 96% and 98% accuracy and is designed to pass the LSTM model when the autoencoder outlier has more than 3%. The system is expected to effectively manage the elderly and dementia patients who live alone and reduce the cost of caring.

  • This study was to investigate the predictors of suicidal thoughts in the subjects who received the support for depression drug costs at a local public health center. The subjects were 156 depressed patients aged 18 and over. Data analysis was conducted by descriptive statistics, χ2-test, t-test and logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the suicidal thoughts rate of the subjects was 25%, and the subjects showed significant differences in suicidal thoughts as the duration of antidepressant use was longer (t=-2.19, p<.05), the perceived physical health(t=3.03, p<.01) and the perceived mental health (t=5.21, p<.001) were lower, and the depression(x2=41.11, p<.001) were higher. The predictors of suicidal thoughts were perceived mental health(OR=0.97, p<.05) and depression(OR=8.44, p<.001). The regression equation of this study explained 42.4% of the suicidal thoughts of the subjects. Continued assessment and convergent mental health promotion programs are required for depression patients living in the community.
