창원시 학교 건축물의 냉난방부하에 대한 전력 소비량 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prediction of Power Consumption Rate for Heating and Cooling load of School Building in Changwon City)

  • This study was carried out in order to establish the estimation equation for school power consumption using regression analysis based on collected power consumption for two years of weather data and schools are located in Central Changwon and Masan district in Changwon city. (1) The power consumption estimation equation for Heating and cooling is calculated using power consumption per unit volume, the difference between actual power consumption and results of estimation equations is 4.1%. (2) The power consumption estimation equation for heating load is showed 2.6% difference compared to actual power consumption in Central Changwon and is expressed 2.9% difference compared to that in Masan district. Therefore, the power consumption prediction for each school using the power consumption estimation equation is possible. (3) The power consumption estimation equation for cooling load is showed 8.0% difference compared to actual power consumption in Central Changwon and is expressed 2.9% compared to that in Masan district. As the power consumption estimation equation for cooling load is expressed difference compared to heating load, it needs to investigate influence for cooling load.

  • This paper presents experimental result of characteristics about Closed circuit Cooling Tower having a rated 2RT. The experimental apparatus has been set-up with a conventional type system. The test section is heat exchangers of cooling tower that consist of different vertical tubes, 15.88mm with 10 rows and columns and 19.05 mm with 8 rows and 12 columns. The main results were summarized as follows : The values of heat and mass transfer coefficients of cooling tower operating with two paths are higher than these with one path. Cooling capacity per unit volume using 15.88mm tubes are higher than 19.05mm tubes.

높은 집적도를 가지는 Windows XP PC 클러스터 구축 (Construction of Highly Integrated PC Cluster based on Windows XP)

  • A new PC cluster was designed and constructed based on Windows XP Operating system. Primary target of the present design was the high node density per rack by using the general PC parts those are cost-effective and readily available in the market. Other major design points were system cooling and the convenient maintenance using standard PC parts. Presently 24 nodes per rack seems to be optimum considering the specification of the network switching device, system cooling and power supply, but 40 nodes can be accommodated within a single rack at maximum. Windows XP was selected as a high-performance computing environment considering the cost and the convenience in acquisition, maintenance and education. Both fast-Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet network connection were tested and compared with previous data, especially for Linux doter using Myrinet. The result shows that there is no significant difference between the operating systems and the Fast-Ethernet and/or Gigabit Ethernet are good solution for the high-performance PC cluster considering the cost and performance.

여름철 파프리카 수경재배 시 시설 내 포그냉방이 생육 및 수량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Fog-cooling on the Growth and Yield of Hydroponic Paprika in Grown Summer Season)

  • 여름철에 파프리카 코이어 배지경에서 'Cupra', 'Piesta' 2품종을 공시하여 시설 내 포그냉방 효과에 의한 파프리카 생육을 검토코자 하였다. 시설 내 포그 냉방처리를 통해 무처리보다 온실 내의 온도가 $2{\sim}3^{\circ}C$ 낮았으며 최고온도를 $35^{\circ}C$이하로, 그리고 실내습도도 80% 내외로 유지할 수가 있었다. 초장, 엽수 등 생육은 포그냉방 처리구가 무처리에 비해 양호하였다. 평균과중은 두 품종 모두 포그냉방 처리구에서 158~160g으로 무처리보다 무거웠고, 주당 착과수는 'Cupra', 'Piesta' 모두 포그냉방 처리구가 각각 18.4, 18.3개로 무처리에 비해 7~8개 많았다. 상품수량은 'Cupra', 'Piesta' 두 품종 모두 포그냉방 처리구가 각각 6,027, 5,890kg/10a으로 무처리에 비해 유의적으로 많았다. 과실의 당도는 처리간에 차이가 없었으며 'Cupra', 'Piesta' 두 품종 모두 $5{\sim}6^{\circ}Bx$ 였으며 과육의 두께는 포그냉방 처리 효과가 없었다. 과실의 열과 발생률은 포그냉방 처리구가 낮았으며 품종 간에는 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과에서 여름철 파프리카 수경재배시 포그냉방으로 시설내 온도의 강하와 습도조절이 가능하였으며 그에 따른 결과, 생육이 양호하며 과실의 품질 또한 좋아짐을 알 수 있었다.

제습기를 이용한 온실 포그냉방시스템의 효율향상 (Improvement of Cooling Efficiency in Greenhouse Fog System Using the Dehumidifier)

  • 본 연구는 온실에서의 제습장치 이용에 관한 기초자료를 제공할 목적으로 지하수를 냉매로 하는 열교환기 방식의 제습장치를 제작하여 제습성능을 시험하고, 포그냉방시스템을 설치한 온실에 적용하여 제습이 증발냉각효율의 향상에 미치는 영향을 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 제습기 성능실험 결과 지하수를 냉매로 이용할 경우 포그냉방시스템을 적용한 온실의 제습은 충분히 가능한 것으로 확인되었다. 냉방 온실의 기온을 $32^{\circ}C$로 설정할 때 냉매인 지하수의 온도가 $15^{\circ}C$에서 18, 21, $24^{\circ}C$로 높아지면 제습량은 각각 $17.7\%,\;35.4\%,\;52.8\%$ 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지하수 유량을 $75\%,\;50\%$로 줄이면 제습량은 각각 $12.1\%,\; 30.5\%$ 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 볼 때 지하수를 이용한 제습기의 설계에 있어서 이용 가능한 유량과 온도가 중요한 인자임을 알 수 있다. 포그냉방 온실에 제습기를 설치함으로서 뚜렷한 냉방효율 개선을 확인할 수 있었다. 환기율 0.7 회${\cdot}min^{-1}$정도의 자연환기 상태에서 포.1냉방 온실의 환기에 의한 제습율은 53.9%~74.4%였으며, 제습기를 가동할 경우 75.4~95.9까지 높아졌다. 제습기 설계유량과 $18^{\circ}C$의 지하수를 사용할 경우 0.36회 ${\cdot}min^{-1}$ 정도의 환기율에서도 포그시스템 작동으로 인하여 발생하는 분무량을 완전히 제거할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 제습기를 이용하여 자연환기 온실에서의 포그 냉방 효율을 충분히 높힐 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

냉각탑 공기가열기용 전열판의 수치해석적 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Heat Transfer Plates for Cooling Tower Air Heater Through Numerical Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 백연방지용 냉각탑의 공기가열기 적용을 목적으로 현재 냉각탑의 충진재로 적용되고 있는 쉐브론형, 웨이브형 그리고 딤플형 전열판 형상에 대한 수치해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과 동일 소비동력 대비 전열량은 평판보다 고성능 전열판에서 높게 나타났다. 열전달계수는 웨이브 형상에서 가장 크고 쉐브론 형상, 딤플 형상 순으로 나타났다. 웨이브 형상의 경우 교차하는 절곡형상 사이의 왕성한 혼합유동이 열전달 계수를 증진시킨 것으로 판단된다. 마찰계수는 열전달계수와 유사한 경향을 보였다. 하지만 동일 크기 쉬트에서의 전열량 및 압력손실은 쉐브론형에서 가장 크게 나타났다. 이는 쉐브론 형상의 전열면적이 다른 형상에 비하여 월등히 크기 때문이다.

데이터센터용 멀티 외기이용 냉방시스템의 지역별 에너지 절감효과에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Regional Energy Conservation Effects of a Multi-stage Outdoor Air Enabled Cooling System in a Data Center)

  • A Data center houses a large number of server computers, storage and etc in racks. With the rapid increase of heat generation rates per rack in a data center, energy consumption rates for cooling have been increased year by year. In this study, energy conservation effects of a MOA (multi-stage outdoor air enabled) cooling system in a data center has been investigated when it is applied to 5 different locations, Korea. As results, Energy conservation effects of the MOA cooling system was achieved at about 20% to 30%. Humidifier operation time was 40 to 55 days when supply air temperature was maintained at 13, and humidity condition was kept within the allowed range even though humidifier was off. Furthermore, humidification was not needed when supply air temperature was maintained at $25^{\circ}C$. In selected 5 locations in Korea, the difference of regional climatic conditions affected no more than 5% in cooling energy consumption rates.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effect of chemical cleaning of corrosion product on cooling system made of copper as a basic material and using cooling water as pure water. We studied chemical cleaning condition that minimizes the influence on basic material by means of EDTA solution so as to eliminate the slurry in cooling system. In addition, the proper amount of NALCO-39L (Nitrite-Borate-BZT mixture) as a inhibitor was determined in order to protect the copper in cooling system against corrosion after chemical cleaning and the effect of corrosion resistance on the copper surface treated was excelent in comparison with surface untreated. As a result, we found that the main components of sludge in cooling system produced by corrosion of copper were $Cu_2O$, CuO, Cu, and Fe. The optimum condition of chemical cleaning was 400ppm EDTA solution at $60^{\circ}C$. Inhibitor concentration needed to treat the surface of pure copper was 15~20ppm per unit area and corrosion rate of copper treated with 500ppm inhibitor solution for 72 hrs at $60^{\circ}C$ was remarkably decreased as compared with that of pure copper.

비공비혼합냉매를 이용한 열펌프의 냉난방성능에 관한 연구 (Performance of the Cooling and Heating of Heat Pump Using Non-azeotropic Refrigerant Mixtures)

  • An experimental study on heat pump cycle systematizing characteristics for non-azeotropic refrigerant mixtures of R-22+R-114 was reported. Data were obtained under steady state condition at the ranges of parameters, 550- 2, 170kcal/h, 670-2, 990kcal/h, 24-71kg/h, and 0-1, for as cooling capacity, heating capacity, mass 25, 50, 75, and 100 per cent of R-22 by weight fraction for R-22+R-114 mixtures. The results shown that the C.O.P of the 50wt% of R-22 mixture was considerably larger than for pure R-22 and other weight fraction of R-22 mixtures, but the compression power of the 25wt% of R-22 was lower than that of the pure R-22 and the other weight fraction of R-22 mixtures. The hightest value of cooling capacity was obtained at the conditions of evaporating temperature 5.deg.C and R-22 50wt% mixture. In general, with an increase in the R-22 weight fraction for fixed values of the other parameter, the cooling capacity increased at first, obtained a maximum, and then decreasd. This verified the importance of accurate weight fractions od refrigerant mixtures in the heat pump cycle.

지붕형 태양광발전 패널의 공장 지붕 설치에 따른 냉방 및 난방 부하 변화량 연구 (A Study of Cooling and Heating Load Changes with Roof Type Solar Panels Installed on Factory Roof)

  • In this study, effect of reinforced insulation on heating and cooling loads were studied due to installation of PV panels on factory building roof with a floor area of 12,960 m2. For PV panel installation, combination of aluminum, polyurethane, air, polystyrene and steel materials were added to the original roof, which increased thermal insulation performance. Half of the roof were covered with PV panel and the other half without. Temperature and relative humidity were measured for 8 days during summer season for both indoor spaces. PV panel showed the effect of lowering the indoor space temperature by 0.6℃. TRNSYS dynamic simulation showed that with PV panel, cooling load per area is reduced by 1.7 W/m2 and heating by 10.0 W/m2. PV panels installed on building roof not only generate electricity but also can save energy by reducing cooling and heating loads.
