아파트 옥외공간 차별화 요소에 대한 주민 만족도 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Residents' Satisfaction Degree of Differentiated Elements in Outdoor Space of Apartment Housing)

  • The purpose of this research is to help outdoor space planning reflected real needs of apartment residents in the differentiation elements of outdoor space, by using USC trade-off game in three apartment complexes in Seoul. This game method was used to evaluate their preference, reliability of preference degree, satisfaction degree, requirement elements such as improvement, sacrifice, maintenance of present condition, and payment possibility for improving and maintaining present condition, in addition to their preference and payment possibility of differentiation of outdoor space in the apartment complex in the future. From the statical analysis, we found the following results: 1. Reliability of preference degree was valid, inasmuch as the first elements they preferred were the almost same as the last things. 2. Elements of preference were pedestrian ways, pedestrian security facilities, various athletic facilities, and variety and high-class facilities in a play ground. 3. Satisfaction degree of differentiation elements of outdoor space was low not only in total complexes but also in each complex. As a result of analysis, these elements were not satisfied with residents. 4. Most of the differentiation elements of outdoor space in three apartment complexes, except planting traditional trees, were required to improve and maintain present condition. The cost to improve and maintain these elements able to pay by them was about 2.18 million won. Through this result, these elements were not options but prerequisites for planning outdoor space in apartment complexes. 5. In the future preference elements of differentiation of outdoor space in apartment complexes were pedestrian and jogging ways, places with water, various athletic places and facilities, multi-function resting places, green spaces in experiences, pedestrian security facilities, various athletic facilities, variety and high-class facilities in a play ground, and payment possibility for these elements was about 3.20 million won.

고속철도역 환승시설 용량 및 서비스수준 산정 방안 (Assessment of the New Capacity and LOS of Transfer Facilities in the High-speed Railway Stations)

  • 고속철도역 환승센터에서 용량 및 서비스 수준(LOS)을 산정하기 위해 현재 인용하고 있는 설계지침은 도시철도역과 고속철도역간 동일하게 사용되고 있다. 하지만, 고속철도역의 이용자의 특성은 도시철도역의 이용자들과 현저하게 다르다. 대표적인 사례로, 고속철도 이용자들은 부피가 큰 소지품이나 교통약자를 동반하는 비율이 도시철도에 비해 높다. 이에 따라 고속철도역 환승시설의 규모는 도시철도역 환승시설의 규모보다 크게 책정되어야 한다. 고속철도역내 환승시설은 크게 보행이동시설과 환승편의시설로 대별할 수 있다. 고속철도역 이용자들의 특성을 반영하는 기법으로, 복합보행자, 복합대기자를 각각 캐리어 소지자, 백팩 소지자, 유아 동반자로 나누었다. 또한, 이들의 고유한 단순보행자 환산계수(PME : Pedestrian Moving Equivalent), 단순대기자 환산계수(PWE : Pedestrian Waiting Equivalent)를 개발 및 적용하여 고속철도역 환승시설의 새로운 용량 및 서비스 수준(LOS)을 제시하였다.

Analysis of the Effects of Walking Environment Components on Pedestrian Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction

  • Unsatisfactory urban walking environment stresses urban residents, and may cause mental illness and chronic diseases by reducing walking activities. Therefore, establishing a high-quality walking environment that can promote walking activities in urban residents has emerged as an important issue. The walking environment consists of various components, such as trees, stairs, streetlights, benches, signs, fences, and facilities, and it is essential to understand which components and their settings act as satisfiers or dissatisfiers for pedestrians, to create a better quality walking environment. Therefore, this study investigated pedestrian satisfaction and dissatisfaction as a function of various environmental components through a survey using walking environment images. The results revealed that most of the walking environment components except the braille block and treezone exhibited significant correlations with pedestrian satisfaction. Particularly, safety-related component (e.g., adjacent roads, parked cars, traffic cushions, and car separation), and landscape-related components (e.g., trees and green), as well as the material settings of landscape facilities (e.g., wooden fences, benches, stairs, and walkway surfaces) correlated with pedestrian satisfaction. The results of this study can contribute to the extraction of useful features to evaluate pedestrian satisfaction as a function of the walking environment. The research outcome is expected to assist in the effective arrangement of walking environment components and their settings, which will ultimately contribute to significantly satisfactory walking environment and encourage walking activities.

  • The Design manual for adjusting the capacity and LOS of facilities has been shared in urban railways and high-speed railway stations. However, the pattern of urban railways users and those of high-speed railway users are different from each other. For an example, the high-speed railway users tend to carry voluminous luggages and the transportation disadvantaged such as children and the elderlies. Accordingly, we see that the scale of facilities and the station itself should be constructed differently. The transfer facilities in the high-speed railway stations are classified widely into walking assisting facilities and convenient facilities. We invented the concept of PME(Pedestrian Moving Equivalent) and PWE(Pedestrian Waiting Equivalent)for the spatial calculation of those who are with wheeled luggages, back packs, and children to reflect the uniqueness of users in high-speed railway stations. These equivalents have been applied to the design of the facilities to asses the new Capacity and LOS that are users' favored.

Empirical Investigation and Comparative Analysis of Underground Public Pedestrian Facilities in Daegu Metropolitan City

  • The study establishes the analytical frame composed of 22 items according to the category of passageway, shop, entrance and amenity for the purpose of executing the empirical investigation of the Underground Public Pedestrian Facilities in Daegu Metropolitan City of Korea. As a result of the research work, the study finds out some problems about the facilities as follows: (1) Passageway elements - the skylight was constructed only in one place. In contrast, the standards of passageway and plaza were well-fulfilled except for one or two cases. (2) Shop elements - the cases of installing shops where they should not be located were found the most, and a case of over-establishing the shop area was found as well. (3) Entrance elements - the cases not matching roof or canopy standard over entrance facilities were found the most. Overall, the entrances and their connection to the adjacent buildings are appraised as not well-established. (4) Amenity elements - these were appraised as insufficient in all except two cases. Regarding this, not only necessary are the establishment of facilities and the effort of facility managers, but also urgent is the institutional improvement.

보행자전용도로 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 -광주광역시 상무택지개발사업지구를 중심으로- (Factors Affecting the Use of the Pedestrian Malls -A Case Study on Gwangju-Sangmu Land Development Project-)

  • 본 연구는 택지개발사업지구에서 조성되는 보행자전용도로가 적정하게 이용되고 있는지를 파악하고, 이를 토대로 향후 보행자전용도로 계획에 필요한 시사점을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위하여 광주광역시 상무택지개발사업지구를 사례대상지로 선정하고 보행량 조사결과를 토대로 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 현황조사 및 분석결과를 정리하면, 첫째, 보행자전용도로 활성화에 영향을 미치는 가장 중요한 요인은 보행자전용도로에 접하고 있는 건축물의 출입구 방향인 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 향후 보행자전용도로 활성화를 위해서는 보행자전용도로변 출입구 설치 의무화 및 건축물 파사드에 대한 고려가 있어야 한다. 둘째, 보행자전용도로에 접하고 있는 건축물 용도가 중요한 변수로 도출되었다. 보행유발용도의 적극적 도입과 보행미유발용도(숙박시설 등)에 대한 입지제한 등이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 보행자전용도로간 연속성 확보가 활성화에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 분석되었다. 이를 위해서는 개발초기 입체교차로의 적극적 설치나 평면교차로의 설치가 이루어져야 한다.

  • This study aims to plan connecting living facilities considering on the Barrier Free Walking of the disabled and the elderly in the residential area. We had found several physical problems on the pedestrian's way that becomes the major factor of disturbing the barrier free movement for using living facilities in the local area by investigations and enquetes. We had suggested the arrangement method for these physical problems on the pedestrian's way and building the ideal area for living facilities by the disposition stages with the result of investigations and enquetes. After these process, we had planned connecting living facilities considering on the Barrier Free Walking of the disabled and the elderly in the residential area.

범죄예방 환경설계 관점에서 공동주택 단지 내 공공보행통로의 개선방안 연구 (Improvements of the Public Pedestrian Passage in the Apartment Complex from Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Aspect)

  • A public pedestrian passage induces traffic into the apartment complex, and therefore, it requires the application of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design(CPTED). This paper aims to analyze the conditions and to suggest the improvements of public pedestrian passages in apartment complexes, applying a 3-D approach from CPTED aspect. The first aspect is "Designation": 1)The linkage between the public pedestrian passages is weak, and their designated purpose becomes unclear. 2)When the designated purpose is not considered for each complex, the closure rate is high. 3)The closure rate of the "Through type" is high. It suggests that the pedestrian network should be built and vitalized at the local urban level. The second aspect is "Definition." The public pedestrian passage lacks a social, cultural, and legal definition and only has a passive physical definition. It suggests that a legal definition and specialized guildline be prepared. The third aspect is "Design": 1)Insufficient territoriality exists between the public pedestrian passage and the inside of the complex. Territoriality should be reinforced between the public pedestrian passage and the rest of the internal territory. 2)The landscaping adjacent to the public pedestrian passage lacks deliberation. Since this is where safety and privacy collide, detailed design and maintenance of the landscaping is required. 3)It lacks systematical crime prevention facilities and should compensate accordingly.

보행에 대한 도시환경의 차이: 서울 도심을 중심으로 (Effects of Urban Environments on Pedestrian Behaviors: a Case of the Seoul Central Area)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 서울 도심지역의 행정동별 지역적 요소와 계획적 요소가 목적지로의 통행수단으로서 보행을 결정하는 것에 미치는 영향의 정도를 파악하고, 이에 대한 분석 결과 및 보행의 공간적 특성을 통해 지역별 특성을 파악하고자 함에 있다. 보행 결정에 영향을 미치는 요소들의 영향 정도를 파악하기 위해 본 연구에서는 전역적 차원의 회귀분석 모형인 최소자승모형을 사용하였고, 이와 더불어 다양한 공간통계 분석모형 중 지역별 보행특성을 기반으로 공간적 이질성을 고려하는 지리가중회귀모형의 적용을 통해 지역별 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 전역적 차원의 회귀분석 결과 목적지로의 보행 선택에 영향을 주는 요소로는 지역적 요소 중 교통시설 지역 및 상업지역, 대학교 면적이, 계획적 요소 중에서는 교육.연구시설 및 계획시설 면적이 보행 선택에 정의 영향을 주었다. 마지막으로 지리가중회귀모형의 분석 결과를 통해 서울 도심지역 중 교통중심지 및 취약지, 상업 업무 중심지, 대학가 중심지, 연구시설 밀집지를 파악할 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 지역 및 공간적 이질성에 대한 이해 없이 진행되었던 기존의 계획 및 정책들에 지역적 특성이라는 정보를 제공함으로 이에 대한 반영의 여지를 주어 보다 지역발전 차원의 계획 수립에 기여할 수 있을 것이라는 점에 본 연구의 의의가 있을 것이라 여겨진다.

도시철도 환승역의 환승보행시설의 서비스수준에 관한 연구 (A Study on Level of Service of Pedestrian Facility in Transfer Stations at Urban Railroad)

  • 현재 우리나라는 '국가통합교통체계효율화법'을 통해 현 교통체계의 효율성, 통합성 및 연계성을 향상 시키고자 하고 있다. 그러나 어느 정도가 편리한 연계환승인지, 또 얼마나 이용자가 많아야 시설물의 용량이 초과인지에 대한 체계적인 연구와 근거가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 최근에 우리나라 인체 표준을 반영하여 인체타원 및 점유면적을 재산정하고 PME와 PWE를 개발하여 이를 토대로 도시철도 환승시설의 서비스수준 평가 모델을 제시하였다. 매표소와 자동발매기 이용자의 서비스수준을 결정하기 위해 대기행렬이론을 반영하여 서비스 수준을 결정하는 평가모델을 제시하였고, 환승보행시설간의 중요도를 AHP분석을 통해 산정하여 제시하였다. 실제 도시철도 5개역에 대한 현행 환승보행시설의 서비스 수준을 종합적으로 평가하여 비교, 평가하여 제시하였다.
