Internal and external reproductive parameters of the striped bitterling, Acheilognathus yamatsutae were compared. Internal reproductive parameters was used gonadosomatic index (GSI), hepatosomatic index (HSI) and gonadal development stage. External reproductive parameters was used ovipositor in female and pearl organ, dorsal and caudal fin nuptial color in male. The GSI and HSI of the female and male showed highest in February. Gonadal development was observed mainly ripe and spawning/spent stage in February to May. The ovipositor length index (OLI) of the female showed highest in March to April. Pearl organ number and expression rate of the male showed highest in February to May. Dorsal fin nuptial color expression rate and index (NCI-DF) showed highest in February to May. Caudal fin nuptial color expression rate and index(NCI-CF) showed highest in February to April. The study suggested same change of internal and external reproductive parameters in female and male.

A field study was conducted to find out the optimum level of NPK fertilizers for pearl barley (Coix Lacryma-Jobi L.). The results are sumarized as follows. 1. When all of NPK fertilizers were increased together as 0-0-0, 6-3-3, 12-6-6-6 and 18-9-9 kg/10a of NPK, the grain yield also increased lineally. 2. When the level of two other elements were fixed at 12kg/10a for N and 6kg/10a for P and K, maximum yields were obtained at 12kg/10a of N and 6kg/10a of P and K. 3. Accordingly, with present results, it is difficult to point out the optimum levels of NPK. It seemed necessary to conduct another trial with expanded NPK levels. However it can be pc pointed out that the yield of pearl barley can be increased with higher levels of NPK fertilizers than 18-9-9 kg/10a at the similar soil used for present study. 4. The antagonism phenomena were observed between N and K in plant's uptake.

This study summarized processing factor (PF) by the stage of rice and barley processing based on JMPR reports from 2006 to 2016. We compared PF of 17 pesticides in rice products during the processing of rice grain, husked rice, polished rice, hulls, bran and cooked rice. Among the 17 pesticides, 12 pesticides except for 5 pesticides such as acephate, methamidophos, glufosinate, quinclorac and sulfoxaflor mostly decreased in pesticides when rice grain processed into brown rice. Pesticides tended to be partially reduced when processed from husked rice to polished rice. However, hulls and bran produced during the milling process were concentrated. Acephate and others, 5 pesticides are systemic pesticides, and pesticides are penetrated into foods, and a large amount of pesticides was not removed during the milling process. The remaining pesticide residues in polished rice were mostly removed after processing into cooked rice, and trace amounts of pesticide residues remained. In the comparison of 23 pesticides PF during the processing of barley products (pearl barley, flour, short, malt, beer, hulls and bran). Most of the pesticide except for 4 pesticide (ethephon, pyraclostrobin, penthiopyrad, sulfoxaflor), which are systemic pesticides, decreased during the process of pearl barley production out of the barley grain. The pesticide in the malt, which was made by steeping pearl barley was concentrated but when processed into beer, pesticide was remained only in trace amounts.

The error structure of nonlinearized technological growth models, such as, the Pearl curve, the Gompertz curve and the Wei bull growth curve, has zero mean and a constant variance over time. Transformed models, however, like the linearized Fisher-Pry model. the linearized Gompertz growth curve, and the linearized Weibull growth curve have increasing variance from t = 0 to the inflection point.

People in any part of the world can not enjoy a really rich living or a bright frame of mind without wearing silk. This means the silk is only silk. Mystery of silk and mysterious quality of silk come from the fact that it is a protein fiber produced by the living insect, namely, the silkworm. (omitted)

O&R사(Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.)는 뉴욕주의 Pearl River에 위치한 발전설비용량 1010MW의 전력회사로서 뉴욕주동남부와 뉴저지주북부 그리고 펜실바니아주 동북부의 약1,350평방마일의 지역에 전기와 천연가스(Natural Gas)를 공급하는 회사이다. 1980년 최대전력수요는 여름철이 736MW, 겨울철이 570MW이었고, 연간판매전력량은 3655백만kwh였다. 에너지관리시스템(EMS)으로는 SEL 32/75 컴퓨터를 사용한 웨스팅하우스사의 Dual Image 32 System이 설치되어 있는데 이 시스템의 특징과 설비구성에 관해 소개하고자 한다.

The objective of this paper is to develop ail algorithm to update probabilities in influence diagrams. Pearl has designed the method of conditioning. This paper applies his algorithm for probability updates by selecting a loop-outset for tile diagram and instantiating these loop-outset nodes. It is discussed the conditions that need to be satisfied by the selected nodes. And a heuristic algorithm is presented for finding a loop-outset that satisfies these conditions.
