차량 창문 개폐에 따른 내부에서의 유동 해석으로의 융합적 고찰 (Convergent Investigation with Internal Flow Analysis According to the Opening and Closing of Vehicle Window)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 창문의 개폐에 따라 공기의 내부 유동 해석을 통하여 여름철에 운전자와 동승자의 쾌적한 운전환경을 고찰하였다. 실제 운전 환경을 고려하여, 자동차 창문 개폐 상태로서의 에어컨 입구 조건들을 유동 해석에 적용하였다. 자동차 에어컨 토출구, 시트 그리고 실내를 모델링하였고, 차 내부에서의 공기유동을 해석하여 공기의 유동형상과 내부의 온도분포를 확인하였다. 본 해석에서는 공기 유입부와 배출구를 정하고 자동차 내부를 단열상태로 가정하고 내부공기와 창문 개폐의 영향만을 고려해서 결과를 보았다. 각 조건들의 해석을 고찰해보면 본 연구 모델들이 쾌적한 환경이 유지됨을 알 수 있었다. 차량 창문 개폐에 따른 내부에서의 유동에 대한 본 해석 결과는 디자인 분야에 융합하여 적용될 수 있다고 보인다.

교통흐름에 기인하는 미세먼지 노출 도시인구에 대한 시.공간적 분석 (Spacio-temporal Analysis of Urban Population Exposure to Traffic-Related air Pollution)

  • 자동차를 중심으로 하는 도로교통량이 크게 늘면서 교통에 기인한 다양한 피해 현상들이 나타나고 있다. 특히 교통량이 집중되는 대도시에서는 교통에 기인한 도시민의 건강피해가 심각한 것으로 밝혀지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 교통에 기인한 미세먼지의 피해를 직접적으로 받는 도시인구는 미세먼지의 주 발생원인 교통흐름이 있는 도로변에 가까이에 노출되는 도시민들이라고 보고 도시 공간 내에서 교통흐름과 미세먼지, 그리고 도시 통행인구의 공간적 분포를 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 대기오염문제가 심각한 서울을 대상으로 교통에 기인한 미세먼지의 실태를 살펴보고, 서울을 둘러싸고 있는 경기도 일대에 대단위 주거지들이 밀집된 신도시들이 개발되면서 나타나는 인구분포와 통행패턴, 그리고 교통흐름 및 미세먼지 농도에 나타나는 공간적 변화와 이들 간의 공간적 관계를 종합적으로 파악하기 위하여 GIS를 적용하였다. 또한 교통카드 트랜잭션 데이터베이스에서 데이터마이닝기법으로 추출해낸 통행흐름 자료를 이용하여 통행시간별 통행인구분포도를 작성하고, 이를 바탕으로 교통에 기인한 미세먼지에 직접 노출하게 되는 도시인구를 산정하는 시 공간적 모형개발을 시도하였다.

운전 조건을 고려한 승용차용 요소첨가 선택적 촉매환원장치의 내부 유동 해석에 관한 연구 (Internal Flow Analysis of Urea-SCR System for Passenger Cars Considering Actual Driving Conditions)

  • 디젤 차량의 유해배출가스인 질소산화물 저감을 위해서는 정화성능이 우수한 요소첨가 선택적 촉매환원장치가 장착되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 오일러리안-라그랑지안 전산유체해석을 통해 요소첨가 선택적 촉매환원장치의 수송현상에 따른 화학반응과 다상유동 특성을 수치적으로 예측한다. 이때, 수치적인 분무형상은 가시화실험에서 측정된 분사속도, 분무관통길이, 분무반경, 평균액적지름과 비교를 통해 보정되었다. 그리고 해석 결과는 실제 엔진 및 차량 시험에서 측정한 질소산화물 저감효율과 비교를 통해 검증되었으며, 상대오차 5% 이하의 정확도를 보여준다. 검증된 전산모델은 요소첨가 선택적 촉매환원장치의 내부유동해석에 사용되었으며, 이를 통해 압력강하와 속도증가 특성을 분석하고, 암모니아의 농도균일도와 과잉분포 위치를 예측한다.

터보 차져 디젤 엔진에서의 기류음 감소를 위한 연구 (A study on the reduction of the flow-induced noise in turbo-charger diesel engines)

  • Turbocharger has been widely used in many passenger cars in application with diesel engines because of high power and fuel efficiency. However, flow-induced noise (whoosh or hissing noise) which is generated within the compressor during its operation at marginal surge line can deteriorate noise characteristics. Hissing noise excitation was associated with the generation of turbulence within the turbocharger compressor and radiated through the transmission path in turbocharger system. In this study, a sharp-edged reactive-type muffler was devised and installed in the transmission path to reduce the hissing noise. Acoustic and fluid dynamic characteristics for the muffler were investigated which is related to the unsteadiness of turbulence and pressure in turbocharger system. A transfer matrix method was used to analyze the transmission loss of the muffler. Simple expansion muffler with extended tube of the reactive type is proposed for the reduction of high frequency component noise. Turbulence computation was carried out by a standard ${\kappa}-{\varepsilon}$ model. An optimal design condition of the muffler was obtained by extensive acoustic and fluid dynamic analysis on the engine dynamometer with anechoic chamber. A significant reduction of the hissing noise was achieved at the optimal design of the muffler as compared with the conventional turbocharger system.

  • 철도차량의 고속화, 경량화와 함께 승객의 안전성을 보다 더 높이기 위한 많은 연구가 진행 되고 있다. 철도차량의 안전성을 높이기 위해서는 주행성능을 안정시키는 것이 무엇보다 중요하며, 드라이빙기어 내부의 윤활유량을 최적화하는 것은 주행성능 확보에 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 전동차용 Driving Gear Unit의 회전 방향에 따라 저속 Gear 치면을 통해 Splash 되는 드라이빙기어 Casing내의 윤활유 유동 변화를 ANASYS CFD 프로그램과 전산유체해석 기법을 사용하여 구현 하였으며, 해석 내역을 토대로 유사 구동 조건에 대한 무부하 실증 시험을 실시하여 해석의 적합성 및 윤활유량 선정과 드라이빙기어의 안전성에 대해 고찰하였다.

차내 환기구 형상변화에 대한 연구 (A Study ono the Type-Change of Automotive Register)

  • Nowadays since the automobile is regarded as the third living space, comfortable conditions are required in the passenger compartment. The customer's concern on air-conditioning/heating, ventilation and demisting/defrosting performances has been much increased. Both ventilation and demisting /defrosting performances are directly influenced by register location, shape of regist guide vane, ventilation flow rate, air distribution , and air circulation pattern. Diffuse plume of air from the register is desirable not only to maintain comfort when the comfort when the comfortable condition has been satisfied but to improve demisting /defrosting performance. In this study, experimental and numerical investigation about the flow field of six different register vane types were carried out , respectively. The numerical analysis, based upon the $textsc{k}$-$\varepsilon$ turbulence model , was applied to the air flow field. The results show that the shape of register guide vane should be considered as an important design paramter.

OSRVM의 형상 및 장착 위치가 차량의 공력성능에 미치는 영향 (Aerodynamic Performance Dependency on the Geometric Shape and Mounting Location of OSRVM)

  • This study investigates the effects of OSRVM mounting location and its configurations such as stalk height and housing height on the aerodynamic performance of the passenger car. In order to validate the flow solver, FLUENT which is very well known commercial code, the flow field around an Ahmed Body was analyzed numerically and compared with the experimental data. The predicted aerodynamic performance and flow patterns around a car show good agreements with the experimental data. Mounting location and stalk height should be designed while OSRVM is mounted on the car to evaluate the aerodynamic performance precisely. Housing height, however, may be designed independent of the car because the aerodynamic interference between housing height and car configuration is negligible.

엘리베이터 카 내부 기류분포에 관한 열 유동해석 (Thermal and Fluid Analysis on Air Distribution in a Elevator Car)

  • The purpose of this study is to observe the visualization of the flow field for air flow distributed in the car from the ventilation fan installed in the ceiling of the passenger elevator car through the numerical analysis using computational fluid dynamics. STAR-CCM+, which is a code used for the numerical analysis, was used to predict the airflow distribution inside the elevator car. The numerical analysis of the distribution of the air current in the elevator was carried out. As a result, the analysis results for each point and the visualization of the air current distribution and the temperature distribution in the elevator car and were obtained. It was found that heat transfer was actively occurring inside the car due to the influence of the flow field discharged from the ventilation vent installed in the ceiling in the elevator car, and especially the convection heat transfer of Model-2 was more active than that of Model-1. As a result, the temperature distribution inside the car was found to be relatively low. In addition, the temperature distribution at a cross-section of 1700mm height in the elevator car shows that Model-2 is the location of the ventilation vent which makes people feel more comfortable.

교차로 용량분석을 위한 교통류 특성 기초조사 (A Basic Investigation on the Characteristics of Traffic Flow for the Capacity Analysis of Signalized Intersections)

  • This study concentrates on a basic investigation research related to some of parameters to be used for the analysis of capacity and the level of service for signalized intersections. The parameters to be studied are ideal saturation flow rate, large vehicle's passenger car equivalent(PCE) ane the lane utilization factors of through and left turn vehicles. The field data were collected at six intersections in Seoul using video cameras so as to reflect conditions in urban areas. In this study discharge headway based on a rear bumper of each vehicle was used and all the parameters were estimated using a regression technique. The findings of this research are as follows : 1. The saturation headway and saturation flow rate on a single lane with the lane width of 3.1m are 1.652 seconds and 2,180 pcphgpl. It was found that the frist 5 vehicles in the queue experience some start-up lost time. 2. It was confirmed that the new method adopted for the estimate of large vehicle's PCE gives larger PCE values than those derived from the method commonly used. 3. For the estimate of lane utilization factors of through and left turn vehicles, a relationship was established and the corresponding formulas were developed.
