  • In this paper, authors propose a novel step-up AC-DC chopper operated with power factor correction (PFC) and with high efficiency. The proposed chopper behaves with discontinuous current control (DCC) of input current. The input current waveform in the proposed chopper is got to be a discontinuous sinusoid form in proportion to magnitude of ac input voltage under the constant duty cycle switching. Therefore, the input power factor is nearly unity and the control method is simple. In the general DCC chopper, the switching devices are turned-on with the zero current switching, but turn-off of the switching devices is switched at current maximum value. To achieve a soft switching of the switching turn-off, the proposed chopper is used a new partial resonant circuit. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of chopper is high.

열병합발전 아파트의 난방조절방식과 온열환경 (Thermal Environment and Heating Regulation System of the Co-Generation Apartment)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the heating regulation systems and the thermal environment of the Co-Generation apartment house in winter. Personal self-administration and interview method were used in the survey of this study. The respondents were 352 housewives who resided in Mokdong apartement using Co-Generation heating systems. Data was analyzed using SPSS PC+ computer package. The results of this study were summarised as follow; The typical patterns of heating regulation systems were intermittent and partial heating in the living room and bedroom exclusive of kitchen area. The present condition of the thermal environment were relatively warm in winter and Heatng regulation systems were influenced by type of location. Determinants of the thermal sensation and thermal comfort were the type of location of apartment as a architectural factor, clo as a personal factor.

The effect of social network sports community consciousness on sports attitude

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of social network sports community consciousness on loyalty and sports attitude. In order to achieve this research purpose, the population of the study was selected as adult men and women over the age of 20 who are active in the social network sports community in 2022. The sampling method used cluster random sampling to select a total of 300 people, 150 men and 150 women, as research subjects. The survey tool used was the questionnaire method, and the questionnaire whose reliability and validity had been verified in previous studies at home and abroad was used by requoting, modifying, or supplementing it to suit the purpose of this study. It was also structured on a 5-point scale. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, simple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed on the collected data using the statistical program SPSS Windows 20.0 Version. The results obtained through this process are as follows. First, social network sports community consciousness was found to have a partial effect on loyalty. Second, social network sports community consciousness was found to have a partial effect on sports attitudes. Third, social network sports community loyalty was found to have a partial effect on sports attitudes. Considering these results, various activities such as decision-making process, relationship formation, and opinion expression of modern people are carried out by the O-line community. In addition, while in the past it was a format that led from offline activities to online activities, currently, there are more and more formats that lead from online activities to offline activities. Therefore, modern people's SNS sports community activities provide many experiences, which creates a sense of community and sports attitudes are formed based on this. This can be said to lead to loyal activities.

Rating of steel bridges considering fatigue and corrosion

  • In the present work, the capacity ratings of steel truss bridges have been carried out incorporating dynamic effect of moving vehicles and its accumulating effect as fatigue. Further, corrosion in the steel members has been taken into account to examine the rating factor. Dynamic effect has been considered in the rating procedure making use of impact factors obtained from simulation studies as well as from codal guidelines. A steel truss bridge has been considered to illustrate the approach. Two levels of capacity ratings- the upper load level capacity rating (called operating rating) and the lower load level capacity rating (called inventory rating) were found out using Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method and a proposal has been made which incorporates fatigue in the rating formula. Random nature of corrosion on the steel member has been taken into account in the rating by considering reduced member strength. Partial safety factor for each truss member has been obtained from the fatigue reliability index considering random variables on the fatigue parameters, traffic growth rate and accumulated number of stress cycle using appropriate probability density function. The bridge has been modeled using Finite Element software. Regressions of rating factor versus vehicle gross weight have been obtained. Results show that rating factor decreases when the impact factor other than those in the codal provisions are considered. The consideration of fatigue and member corrosion gives a lower value of rating factor compared to those when both the effects are ignored. In addition to this, the study reveals that rating factor decreases when the vehicle gross weight is increased.

설계법에 따른 풍화토 지반 얕은기초의 안전여유 비교 (Comparison of Safety Margin of Shallow Foundation on Weathered Soil Layer According to Design Methods)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 허용응력설계법(ASD)과 신뢰성해석에 기반을 둔 하중저항계수설계법(LRFD)과 유로코드의 부분안전계수설계법(PSFD)을 사용하여 풍화토지반 얕은기초의 전단파괴에 대한 지지력과 안전여유 산정결과에 대하여 비교 분석하였다. 얕은기초의 지지력에 영향을 주는 지반정수의 불확실성을 정량화하기 위하여 시공 및 설계용 평판재하시험 자료를 수집하고 확률 통계 분석을 통하여 극한지지력의 저항편향계수와 변동계수를 조사하였다. 국내 현장의 얕은기초 대표 단면 예에 대한 신뢰성해석(FORM)을 통하여 신뢰도지수를 구하고 지반정수의 확률변수가 전단파괴에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 확률변수의 민감도 분석을 하였다. ASD설계법, ASD설계법의 안전율에 대응하는 목표신뢰도 지수의 LRFD설계법, PSFD설계법을 사용하여 얕은기초 대표단면의 안정성 검토를 실시하여 산정된 각 설계법의 안전여유에 대하여 비교 검토를 실시하였다.

중간탄성지점이 있는 부분고정단 압축재의 고유치 문제에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Eigenvalue Problems of Partially Fixed End Members with Intermediate Elastic Supports)

  • The finite element method is used for the study of the eigenvalue problems of partially fixed end beams with intermediate elastic supports. The elastic critical loads and natural frquencies of the beams are investigated by changing the numbers of elastic supports and their stiffness, and also by changing Kinney's fixity factor, $f_a$. The relationship between two eigenvalues is established by calculating the corresponding values of $(w/w_n)^2$ through changing $(P/P_{cr})$ values. The results of this study are as follows : (1) The elastic critical loads and natural frequencies of beams increase with increases in Kinney's fixity factor, $f_a$ and with the increased numbers of intermediate elastic supports. (2) The relationship between elastic critical loads and the natural frequencies of partially fixed end beams with intermediated elastic supports is $P/P_{cr} + (w/w_n)^2/ = 1$ without regard to Kinney's fixity factor, the stiffness of elastic supports, or the number of elastic supports.

교대 기초말뚝의 측방유동 판정식에 관한 신뢰성 해석 (Reliability Analysis on the Decision Method of Lateral Flow of Foundation Piles for Abutment)

  • This study conducted the decision method of lateral flow in abutment structures founded on the soft soils and the reliability analysis on the foundation pile for abutment. On the basis of the results, this study proposed the reliability design model. Reliability analysis was conducted by applying second moment method, point estimation method, and expected total cost minimization to lateral movement index, lateral movement decision index, modified lateral movement decision index, and circular failure safety factor for the decision criteria of lateral flow. The reliability index by analysis method had a similar tendency each other. Point estimation method was found as a practical method in the aspect of convenience because it could conduct the analysis only by mean and standard deviation as well as the partial derivative on random variables was not necessary. Optimum reliability index and optimum safety according to increasing in failure factors and load ratio were analyzed and loads and resistance factors of the design criteria of optimum reliability were estimated. It presented rational design model which can consider construction level and stability and economical efficiency overall.

자동차 현가장치의 정적설계인자 계산을 위한 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Program Development for Static Design Factor of Automotive Suspension System)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 현가장치의 정적설계인자를 계산하기 위한 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 기호계산기법을 사용하여 구속방정식의 자코비언에 대한 편미분을 계산하여 자코비언의 변형률 행렬을 유도하였다. 상용프로그램에서는 자코비언의 변형률 행렬을 계산하기 위하여 유한차분법 등을 사용하기도 하지만 본 연구에서는 이를 정확하게 고려하기 위하여 기호계산기법을 사용하여 계산하였다. 계산된 구속방정식 자코비언의 변형률 행렬을 사용하기 쉽도록 모듈화해 프로그램을 구성하였다. 계산된 자코비언 행렬을 사용한 결과를 1/4차량 더블위시본 현가장치에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통해 상용프로그램의 결과와 비교하여 정확성을 검증하였다. 향후 계산된 자세정보로부터 정적설계인자를 자동으로 추출하는 모듈과 함께 이를 이용하여 가상 테스트를 수행할 수 있는 융합 모듈을 추가할 예정이다.

산소 분압 조절에 따른 ITO/PVDF 박막 물성 조절 연구 (Physical Properties of ITO/PVDF as a function of Oxygen Partial Pressure)

  • On the piezoelectric polymer, PVDF (poly vinylidene fluoride), the transparent conducting oxide (TCO) electrode material thin film was deposited by roll to roll sputtering process mentioned as a mass product-friendly process for display application. The deposition method for ITO Indium Tin Oxides) as our TCO was DC magnetron sputtering optimized for polymer substrate with the low process temperature. As a result, a high transparent and good conductive ITO/PVDF film was prepared. During the process, especially, the gas mixture ratio of Ar and Oxygen was concluded as an important factor for determining the film's physical properties. There were the optimum ranges for process conditions of mixture gas ratio for ITO/PVDF From these results, the doping mechanism between the oxygen atom and the metal element, Indium or Tin was highly influenced by oxygen partial pressure condition during the deposition process at ambient temperature, which gives the conductivity to oxide electrode, as generally accepted. With our studies, the process windows of TCO for display and other application can be expected.

다차원 스펙트럼 해석법을 이용한 탈수 시 드럼세탁기의 소음 기여도 분석 (The Analysis of Noise Contribution about Drum Washer under Dehydrating Condition Using Multi-dimensional Spectral Analysis)

  • Recently, there has been a growing consumer interest in the amount of noise produced by household electrical appliances. The designer of the product must identify the source of the noise, in order to reduce the noise. In the case of a household electric appliance such as the washing machine, there is consumer's complaint about the noise that is generated during the dehydrating condition. Because of several noise sources combined each other. It is difficult to identify the noise sources that contribute to the noise output. Multi-Dimensional Spectral Analysis (MDSA) is a method that can remove the correlation between different noise sources, and it expresses the key contributing factor as a unique output. This study utilized MDSA to analyze the contribution of each input in the noise output during the dehydrating condition.
