  • Recently, enterprises are protecting information assets with the various means of control and management. Nevertheless, they are confronted with the dilemma which the higher securitylevel they request, the lesser efficiency and productivity in short terms they acquire by the inconvenience of business process. In addition, in spite of the steady increase of organization's investment on information protection, the systematic way for the performance measurement of information protection has not been suggested, so that in reality, it is difficult to make the decision to invest on information-protection and elicit the direction to improve it. For this reason, this study intended to establish the concept of the protection and security of information assets of enterprises and to categorize the type of activities to protect information assets into management activity and control activity, and analyze the effects of management activity and control activity for information asset protection on the performance of information asset protection activity and organization. For this research, questionnaire survey was conducted with literature study and the PLS(Partial Least Square) was used to analyze the measurement model and hypotheses testing. The PLS analysis results indicate that management activity for information asset protection affects information asset protection performance. Further, organizational performance is influenced by information asset protection performance. Practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

  • The current study was aimed to examine the effect of partial or complete replacement of fishmeal (FM) with fermented soybean meal (FSBM) on growth performance, fecal composition, and meat quality in broiler chickens. A total number of 240 one-day-old broiler chicks were randomly allotted into four dietary treatments with six replications and ten birds per one pen. Dietary treatments were followed as; 1) Diet incorporated with 4% FM without FSBM (Control), 2) Diet incorporated with 3% FM and 2% FSBM (FSBM2), 3) Diet incorporated with 2% FM and 3% FSBM (FSBM3) and 4) Diet incorporated with 4% FSBM without FM (FSBM4). Body weight and feed intake were recorded weekly for 35 days of the experimental period. Moreover, fecal samples were collected to evaluate moisture, ash, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus content on day 21 post-hatch. On day 35, two birds were sacrificed from each pen to measure meat quality parameters and visceral organ weights. Results revealed that, no dietary treatment effect (p > 0.05) was observed either in both body weight or average daily gain of broilers within the entire experimental period while broilers fed FSBM2 increased (p < 0.05) average daily feed intake by 10.07% whereas FSBM4 improved (p < 0.05) feed efficiency ratio by 8.45% compared to birds fed other dietary treatments on day 7 post-hatch. Besides, birds fed FSBM3 obtained the improved (p < 0.05) feed conversion ratio over the birds fed control diet by 7.51% from hatch to day 35 post-hatch (1.60 vs. 1.73). Nevertheless, no difference (p > 0.05) was detected on visceral organ weight, proximate composition and physicochemical characteristics of meat while broilers offered FSBM4 obtained the lowest (p < 0.05) calcium and phosphorous in faces (2.27% and 1.21% respectively) over those offered control feed and other FSBM treatments. In conclusion, FSBM would be a better replacement for ousting FM partially or completely in broiler diet as it did not impair the growth performance and meat quality while reducing the calcium and phosphorous excretion in broilers for 35 days post-hatch.

  • This study analyzed the effects that digital experience factors influence on purchase intention and the purchase. The study targeted an online shopping mall with a strong digital experience value among industries. The research model was derived by adding variables to independent and mediating variables according to the industry context of online shopping which is based on the theoretical background and previous studies. Product variety, price efficiency, convenience and conversation were used by terms of digital marketing mix as independent variables. Personalization has been very important factor in online shopping malls, and therefore added as a independent variable. Flow has been added as a mediating variable. Purchase and purchase intention has been used as dependent variables. For empirical testing of established research models and generalization of research results, research was conducted on online shopping malls where digital experiences are important. To do this, a survey was conducted for existing users of online shopping malls. In hypothesis testing, the hypothesis was established that product diversity, price efficiency, convenience, conversation and personalization influenced the intention to purchase online shopping. In particular, the product diversity and conversation variable were tested as the most influential factors on purchase intention. For price efficiency and personalization there were no statistically significant effect. Flow has been shown to be a partial mediator between Product variety and purchase intention in online shopping. In particular, in the case of personalization, it was tested to have a significant influence on purchase intention only when there was a flow experience called pleasure and immersion. This is because the flow experience of pleasure and immersion has played a full mediating role and significantly has affected the purchase intention, because the consumers themselves have to carry out the overall purchase journey without human help due to the nature of online. In the digital experience economy, since consumers are mostly digital consumers, where communication and sharing are the basics, they have been conducting digital word-of-mouth communication and sharing naturally before purchasing. Based on these results, theoretical and practical implications were suggested.

  • In this paper we present two preconditioners for solving large sparse linear systems arising from elliptic partial differential equations on massively parallel machines, such as the CM-5. Most massively parallel machines do heavily rely on the message-passing for the interprocessor communications. but according to the current manufacturing standards the cost of communications is very high compared to that of floating point arithmetic computations. Due to this we need an algorithm which minimizes the amount of interprocessor communication on the massively parallel machines. We will show that Block SOR(Successive Over Relaxation) method coupled with the multi-coloring technique is one of such preconditioner on the massively parallel machines, by conducting experiments in the CM-5. Also, we implemented the ADI(Alternation Direction Implicit) method in the CM-5, which has been conventionally one of the most powerful parallel preconditioner. Our experiment shows that Block SOR method coupled with the multi-coloring technique could yield a speedup with 50% efficiency with the range of number of processors form 16 to 512 for a matrix with dimension 512x512. On the other hand, the ADI method shows a very poor performance.

  • In this paper, a compact antenna is designed for the UWB lower half-band WVAN Gbps data-rate transceiver. The proposed antenna broadens the bandwidth less than -10 dB by placing the ring stubs and an open stub on the rectangular monopole above the partial ground and creating multiple resonant current paths. The designed antenna goes through the electromagnetic simulation and is fabricated and the implemented antenna has the characteristics of the return loss lower than -10 dB, the antenna gain greater than 5 dBi, and the efficiency over 80 % in the UWB lower half-band ranging from 3.197 GHz to 4.732 GHz. Therefore, it is thought that the proposed antenna is suitable for the size-reduced and excellently performing wireless communication transceiver.

  • Robot technology has become a crucial part of today's business operation. In fact, more manufacturing firms have been utilizing robot technology in order to increase operational efficiency and productivity. Thus, this study develops the research model investigating firms; behavior for process innovation with intelligent robot. Three categories - Technical, Entrepreneur, and Environmental characteristic - are proposed in the research model as determinants of process innovation. These three characteristics include six variables(Perceived Direct Usefulness, Perceived Indirect Usefulness, Innovation, Risk Senstivity, Perceived Industry Pressure, and Perceived Government Pressure) as influencing factors on process innovation. The data from 77 employee at manufacturing firms were analyzed to test proposed hypotheses. The results reveal that all variables with exception of Perceived Government Pressure have a significant influence on process innovation. Based on the study results, theoretical and practical implications for process innovation with intelligent robot technology are discussed.

  • As interest in cloud computing grows, the number of users using cloud computing services is increasing. However, cloud computing technology has been steadily challenged by security concerns. Therefore, various security breaches are springing up to enhance the system security for cloud services users. In particular, research on detection of malicious VM (Virtual Machine) is actively underway through the introspecting virtual machines on the cloud platform. However, memory analysis technology is not used as a monitoring tool in the environments where multiple virtual machines are run on a single server platform due to obstructive monitoring overhead. As a remedy to the challenging issue, we proposes a computationally efficient instance memory introspection scheme to minimize the overhead that occurs in memory dump and monitor it through a partial memory monitoring based on the well-defined kernel memory map library.

  • Nutritive value analysis of feed is very important for the growth of livestock, and ensures the efficiency of feeds as well as economic status. However, general laboratory analyses require considerable time and high cost. Near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) is a spectroscopic technique used to analyze the nutritive values of seeds. It is very effective and less costly than the conventional method. The sample used in this study was a corn kernel and the partial least square regression method was used for evaluating nutrient composition, digestibility, and energy value based on the calibration equation. The evaluation methods employed were the coefficient of determination ($R^2$) and the root mean squared error of prediction (RMSEP). The results showed the moisture content ($R^2_{val}=0.97$, RMSEP=0.109), crude protein content ($R^2_{val}=0.94$, RMSEP=0.212), neutral detergent fiber content ($R^2_{val}=0.96$, RMSEP=0.763), acid detergent fiber content ($R^2_{val}=0.96$, RMSEP=0.142), gross energy ($R^2_{val}=0.82$, RMSEP=23.249), in vitro dry matter digestibility ($R^2_{val}=0.68$, RMSEP=1.69), and metabolizable energy (approximately $R^2_{val}$ >0.80). This study confirmed that the nutritive components of corn kernels can be predicted using near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy.

  • A 3-D numerical model, which could demonstrate the static and dynamic responses of a curved bridge more precisely with the moving vehicles, was developed The dynamic response induced by the centrifugal rolling motion of vehicle was identified according to the variations of the partial grade and the curvature of the slab. Dynamic characteristics of the curved bridge with the moving vehicle were analyzed under the condition of support types and two different support systems. Parametric studies were conducted to compare the efficiency of load distribution in the curved bridge. In general, while the vehicle was crossing the curved bridge, negative reaction occurred in the inside of the girder. The final result showed that the support system located outside the girder was more advantageous than other systems, and the characteristics of load distributions differed from the others in the various conditions of support systems.

  • This study was performed to find out the types of linkage of carbohydrates in wood cell walls. To study the structure of linkage of carbohydrates in wood cell walls, we have attempted to find out the method holocellulose preparation and optimum condition of enzyme hydrolysis in holocellulose, and fractionate oligosaccharide with products that hydrolized partly by acetolysis and deacetylation in holocellulose. We have achieved four results. These results as follow; 1. At first. we reacted in wood meal $NaClO_2$ 1g per lignin lg for one hour and then the same of quantity $NaClO_2$ for four hours. Through these experiments, we have developed new holocellulose preparation method which had low loss of carbohydrates and high effect of the delignification. 2. The optimum condition of enzyme hydrolysis of holocellulose which had lignin was 0.005M sodium acetate buffer (pH 5.0). We have achieved 7.2% reducing sugar through the procedure that reactioned 0.01g holocellulose putting enzyme 0.03g for 72 hours. It may be supposed that 5.5% of lignin contained in holocellulose prevented enzyme contaction from holocellulose and so this lignin has resulted in the low efficiency of enzyme hydrolysis. 3. We did not fractionated from oligosaccharides which were preparated by the method of acetolysis and deacetylation in holocellulose. The reason is that holocellulose having a lot of lignin prevented prefectly partial hydrolysis from the method of acetolysis and deacetylation. 4. We attempted analysis of six standard substances through HPLC apparatus having sugar pak 1 column which we have changed flow rate and the column temperature variably. These six standard substances were D-glucose, D-mannose, D-xylose, D-galactose and L-rhamnose, L-arabinose, But sugar pak 1 column was not fitted analysis of four substances because D-galactose, D-mannose, D-xylose, L-rhamnose were agreement with elution time. And so, we could not analize four standard substances with sugar pak 1 column.
