Study of analysis on body part terminology from Korean medicine formula data in comparison with WHO ICD-11 (ICD-11과의 비교를 통한 한의학 처방데이터 내의 인체부위 용어 분석 연구)

  • Objective : This study aims to analyze the current use of body part terminology in Korean medicine formula data by comparing with ICD-11 body part terminology as a criteria. Methods : Body part terminology was extracted from the main treatment data within the Korean Medicine formula ontology and was analyzed in comparison with the ICD-11 body part terminology. Results : Out of 113 body part terminologies in Korean medicine, 92 were corresponded with ICD in a one-to-one, one-to-multi, or multi-to-one relation. Also, most body part terminologies were corresponded to superordinate concepts of ICD while 21 terminologies were not able to be corresponded to ICD. Conclusion : A majority of body part terminology in formula data could be corresponded to ICD but mostly refered to superordinate concepts. Results showed various types of corresponding relation which requires further study for precise and detailed correspondence. Also, study showed some terminologies were not applicable for correspondence which were mostly a unique body part concept of Korean medicine which requires further study to present Korean Medicine knowledge accurately in the language of ICD.

  • We have developed the drawing and part information management system that could integrate drawing information with corresponding part information in design process. The modules developed include the drawing information management (DIM) and the part information management(PIM). DIM consist of processing drawing management, approved drawing management, disused drawing management, and drawing print management. PIM consist of new part management, option management, and part change management. Errors which may occur in the design process can be reduced by reference to part information directly. In addition, the number of parts can be reduced by minimizing the frequency of new parts generation through the systematic management.

  • In this paper, we propose a hopfield model for solving the part-matching which is the number of parts and positions are changed. The goal of this paper is to minimize part-connection in pairs and net total path of part-connection. Therefore, this kind of problem is referred to as a combinatorial optimization problem. First of all, we review the theoretical basis for hopfield model to optimization and present two method of part-matching; Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) and Weighted Matching Problem (WMP). Finally, we show demonstration through computer simulation and analyzes the stability and feasibility of the generated solutions for the proposed connection methods.

An Analysis of Part-timer Labor Market in Kwangju (광주지역 시간제 노동시장 분석)

  • We analysed the determinants of part-timer labor demand and supply in Kwangju. The findings of the paper are as follows; First, firms employ part-timer workers in the unskilled or skilled jobs not demanding much training cost. There are two reasons for firms to employ part-time workers: labor cost cut and flexible employment adjustment. Estimated wage differential is 40% not including fringe benefits differential. Second, we find lots of married women to want part-time jobs. The more probably married women choose part-time work, the younger and the less educated they are, and the less kids and the less other income they have.

  • For reaserching the factors of plants micro-distribution, accumulation of 5 minerals-total-nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and calcium-for 19 plant species was investigated in reclaimed land, in western coast of Korea, In the five minerals, sodium contents were quite different among the species. Shrinkage in Injection molded Part for Operational Conditions and Resins (성형조건과 수지의 종류에 따른 사출 성형품의 성형 수축)

  • Shrinkage of injection molded parts is different form operational conditions of injection molding such as injection temperature, injection pressure and mold temperature, and mold design such as gate size. It is also various for different resins which have crystalline structure or not. In this study part shrinkage was investigated for various operational condition and resins; PBT for crystalline polymer, and PC and PMMA for amorphous polymer was used in experiment. Crystalline polymer shows higher part shrinkage by about three times than amorphous polymer. Part shrinkage increased as injection temperature and mold temperature increased and injection pressure decreased. Part shrinkage decreased as gate size increased since the pressure delivery is mush easier for large gate size. Part shrinkage according to the gate location was that the position in the part with close to the gate showed large shrinkage and this phenomenon might be occurred by residual stress.

  • In this paper, we consider a multi-objective machine cell formation problem. This problem Is characterized as determining part route families and machine cells such that total sum of inter-ceil part movements and maximum machine workload imbalance are simultaneously minimized. Together with the objective function, alternative part routes and the machine sequences of part routes are considered In grouping Part route families. Due to the complexity of the problem, a two-phase heuristic algorithm is proposed. And we developed an n-stage look-ahead heuristic algorithm that generalizes the roll-out algorithm. Computational experiments were conducted to verify the performance of the algorithm.

  • This paper describes how to recognize hand written Hangeul character using the stroke order of the elementary segment. The recognition system is constructed of parts : character input part, segment disassembling part, character element extraction part and character recognition part. The character input part reads the character and performs thinning algorithm. In the segment disassembling part, the input character is disassembled into elementary segments using the direction codes and the feature parameters. In the character element extraction part, we extract the character element using the stroke order and the knowledge rule. Finally, we able to recognize the hand written Hangeul characters by assembling the character elements, in the character recognition part.
