FCST 원리를 적용한 TBA-G의 골프 드라이버 헤드 속도와 배근력 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Golf Driver Head Speed and Back Muscular Strength in TBA-G of FCST)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Temporomandibular joint Balance Appliance for Golf (TBA-G) of Functional Cerebrospinal Therapy (FCST) on golf driver head speed and back muscle power. Methods: Twenty-one participants that had a golf career of 4 years or more were involved. We measured golf drive head speed and back muscular strength before and after applying TBA-G in the mouth. A paired t test or Wilcoxon singed rank test was performed to identify the difference of effect between before and after applying TBA-G, using IBM SPSS 19.0. We considered difference significant at P<0.05. Results: Driver head speed increased significantly by 2 mph (1.99%) after applying TBA-G [from $100.52{\pm}9.82$ mph ($mean{\pm}SD$) to $102.52{\pm}10.43$ mph, P<0.001]. Back muscular strength also increased by 7.28 kg (5.60%) [from $129.90{\pm}28.31$ kg to $137.18{\pm}28.81$ kg, P<0.001]. In stratification analysis, a more significant increase was found in the drive head speed and back muscular strength of groups of males with weight more than 69kg, with height more than 175cm, and with golf experience more than 7 years, compared to those of other groups. Conclusions: The results suggest that TBA-G could improve golf drive head speed and back muscular strength.

디지털 골프 스코어 카드 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development to the Digital Golf Score Card)

  • 본 연구에서는 골프경기 중 실제 경기보다는 스코어카드의 기록 오기 등 사소한 실수로 실격되는 사례를 방지하기 위하여 IT를 접목한 골프디지털 스코어 카드를 개발 사용함으로서 선수보호의 측면과 한국은 IT와 골프강국으로서 디지털 시대에 맞는 세계시장을 선도하는데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구와 관련하여 문헌적 연구와 더불어 개발 소요에 대한 설문자료를 수집하여 실증적인 분석과 검증을 통하여 상호 상관관계를 살펴보았다. 검증결과 S/W는 사용의 간편성과 출력기능, 데이터의 관리기능이 요구되었으며, H/W 디자인의 심플함과 기능, 내구성에 있어서 사용자의 편리성이 요구되고 또한 스코어 카드이외의 다양성이 요구됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

퍼지 시스템을 이용한 골프 스윙 분류 (Golf Swing Classification Using Fuzzy System)

  • 본 논문에서는 키넥트와 퍼지 시스템을 이용하여 골프 스윙 동작을 7가지 구간으로 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. 퍼지 논리의 입력으로 골프 클럽과 클럽의 헤드 위치를 사용하였으며 이 정보는 키넥트로부터 획득한 골퍼의 관절 정보와 컬러 영상 정보로부터 검출하였다. 제안하는 방법은 크게 신체 관절 추출 모듈, 골프 클럽 검출 및 헤드 추적 모듈, 골프 스윙 동작 분류 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 신체 관절 추출 모듈은 키넥트 센서로부터 검출되는 신체 관절 정보 중 골프 클럽의 검출을 위해 손의 좌표를 추출한다. 두 번째 모듈에서는 손의 좌표를 기준으로 허프 직선 변환 알고리즘을 사용하여 골프 클럽과 골프 클럽의 헤드를 검출한다. 마지막으로 인식 오류를 줄이고 동작별 인식 성능을 향상시키기 위해 퍼지 시스템을 적용하여 골프 스윙 동작을 분류하였다. 실시간 골프 스윙 영상에 대해 제안한 방법의 성능 평가를 시행하였고 제안한 방법은 평균 85.2%의 골프 스윙 동작 분류 신뢰도를 보여줌을 확인하였다.

골프 퍼팅 시 지면 경사도에 따른 운동학적 변인 분석 (Analysis of Kinematic Variables according to Ground Slope Angle during Golf Putting)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze kinematic variables according to ground slope angle during golf putting. Method: 26 collegiate golfers (age: 22.54±2.15 kg, height: 174.64±6.07 cm, weight: 71.35±9.27 kg, handicap: 5.11±4.50) were participated, and 8 motion capture cameras (250 Hz), Nexus, and Kwon3DXP software were used to collect data. It was performed repeated measures ANOVA and Bonferroni adjustment. Alpha set at .05. Results: Body alignments were not significantly different at address. Putter head trajectory and loft angle were significantly different, and AP direction of acceleration of putter head was significantly different. However, ML and SI direction of acceleration of putter head were not significantly different. Conclusion: Therefore, it was identified that ground slope angle was affected the kinematic variables during putting, and it will be performed that correlation analysis between putting success rate and kinematic variables according to ground slope angle during golf putting.

골프산업 규제완화가 관광에 미치는 파급효과 (A Economic Impact of Golf Industry Deregulation on Tourism)

  • 본 논문은 국내 골프관광시장의 활성화방안을 통한 관광수지 개선을 모색하고자 우리나라 골프산업의 경쟁력 분석과 골프관광 수요예측분석을 실시하였다. 골프비용 비교분석을 한 결과, 우리나라에서의 골프비용 및 골프용품들은 경쟁국가들 보다 가격경쟁력이 현저하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 심지어 동남아시아 3박4일 골프관광가격(항공료와 숙박료 등을 모두 포함한 패키지 가격)이 한국에서의 주말3회 골프라운딩 비용보다 더 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 현행제도와 규제완화 시 골프관광 경제적 효과를 비교 분석한 결과, 현행제도를 계속 유지한다면 과도한 조세부담으로 인하여 골프산업 경쟁력 약화, 관광수지 적자를 가중시키는 것으로 분석되었다. 골프산업의 경제적 중요성과 잠재력은 현재 우리나라의 경제적 위기상황을 고려할 때 시사점을 주고 있다. 즉, 골프산업을 둘러싼 차별적인 조항(지역적 차별 업종별 차별 산업별 차별) 등을 완화할 경우 국내의 해외골프관광의 국내전환효과와 외국인 골프관광수요의 증가로 인한 관광수지는 지속적으로 개선되어 2012년에는 약 5천억원에 달할 것으로 추정되고, 신규 고용창출효과는 2012년에 약1만 7천명, 2015년에는 약 6만명에 달할 것으로 추정되어 골프산업을 둘러싼 다양한 규제완화는 우리나라 골프산업의 경쟁력 강화는 물론 현재의 경제위기를 극복하는 데 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.

골프 드라이버스윙 시 지면반력 반복측정 횟수와 지면반력 특성 (Number of Trials for the Reliable Golf Swing Ground Reaction Force Data Collection and Its Characteristics)

  • Grould Reaction force(GRF) is important in human movements and GRF measurements are one of the most frequently used tool in biomechanical studies. In the studies of the golf swing motion, people refer to GRF as weight transfer. A successful golf swing motion requires many segments activation sequences which are controled by the nerve system. Due to the inter- and intra-individual variability of the human movement and the movement strategies, reliability of the measurements are important in human movement studies. Previous golf researches were based on group studies and certain events' values were analyzed. The purposes of this study were to determine the number of trials for the reliable golf swing GRF data collection, to reveal the variability level of the meaningful components of the golf swing GRF, and to classify the types of the golf swing GRF patterns. Twenty three male professional golfers($26.4{\pm}6.6$ years, $174.3{\pm}5.2\;cm$, $71.3{\pm}6.5\;kg$) signed an informed consent form prior to participation in this study. GRFs of driver swings were collected with Kistler 9285 force platform and 9865A amplifier, and calculated by the KwonGRF program(Visol, Korea). Sampling frequency was 1080 Hz. GRF data were trimmed from 1.5 s prior to the impact to 0.5 s after the impact. The number of trials for the reliable GRF collection was determined when the change in floating mean overs the 25 % of the standard deviation of that variable. Variabilities of the variables were determined by the coefficient of variation(CV) of 10 %. The types of GRF patterns were determined by visual inspection of the peak GRF shapes. The minimum number of trials for the reliable golf swing GRF data collection was five. Ten-trial seems more conservative. The value of the peak GRF was more reliable than the value of the impact GRF. The CV of the peak GRF and impact GRF were 7.4 %, 15.2 %, respectively. Because of the +/- sigh of the peak GRF appearance time, it was impossible to calculate CV of the peak GRF appearance time. Golf swing GRF patterns were classified as sing peak type, double peak type, and plateau peak type. This classification suggests the presence of the different golf swing weight transfer strategies.

국내 골프장농약 사용에 따른 골프장 및 인근 지역의 잔류농약 모니터링 조사를 통한 영향평가 (Pesticides Residue Monitoring and Impact Evaluation of Golf Course and Neighbouring Area in Korea)

  • BACKGROUND: At these days, the human health and environmental concerns of pesticide used for turf grass management at golf courses in Korea have increased. The objectives of the study were to determine the pesticide residues for golf course and neighboring area and evaluate the impact moved into neighboring area of pesticides treated at golf courses. METHODS AND RESULTS: Three golf courses and neighboring areas in Korea were monitored from July to October, 2017. The soil sample collection was divided the golf course into its logical parts (such as a greens, fairways, and rough) and neighboring area soil samples were collected at three different points. The water samples of the golf course and neighboring area were collected at three different points, respectively. The pesticide residues for soil and water sample were monitored by the multi-residue screening method of 98 pesticide with HPLC-MS-MS. The concentrations of detected pesticide in soil and water samples of the golf course were in the range of 0.01~1.26 mg/kg and 0.0001~0.0089 mg/kg, respectively. The residue levels for detected pesticides in neighboring area were at 0.01~0.04 mg/kg and 0.0001~0.0029 mg/kg, respectively, well below those level in golf course. CONCLUSION: This study indicate that the pesticide residue levels of golf course and neighboring area in Korea may not a possible risk of exposure on soil and aquatic environment. For future work, more monitoring should be performed so that the evaluation data becomes more valid.

프로와 아마추어 골퍼의 미들 아이언 스윙에 관한 근전도 분석 (The Analysis of Electromyography during Professional & Amateur Golfer's Iron Swing)

  • The purpose of this study was to describe and compare the selected electromyographical muscle activities of trunk and hip during Professional and Amateur golfer's Iron swing. Using surface electromyography, we evaluated muscle activities in 6 male professional golfers and 6 male amateur golfers during the golf iron swing. Surface electrodes were used to record the level of muscle activity in the right abdominal oblique, left abdominal oblique, right erector spinae, left erector spinae, right rectus abdominis, left rectus abdominis, right gluteus maximus, left gluteus maximus muscles during the golfer's swing. These signals were compared with IEMG(Integrated EMG) which was normalized by %RVC(Reference voluntary contraction). The golf swing was divided into three phases: take away, forward swing-acceleration, follow-through. We observed patterns of trunk muscle activity throughout three phases of the golf swing. The results can be summarized as follows: LES(Left Erector spinae) had statistically significant difference in take away and forward swing-acceleration phases. It was showed no significant difference in follow-through phase.

골프 초보자에서 나타난 흉추 2~3번 극돌기의 견열 골절 (A Case Report of Golf-Swing-Induced T2~T3 Clay-Shoveler's Fractures)

  • Clay-shoveler's fractures are rare stress-type avulsion fractures of the spinous processes especially in sports. There have been two case reports that discussed clay-shoveler's fractures in golf. A 36-year-old beginner golfer presented with a pain in the back after practicing golf swing. No fractures were detected using cervical radiography; however, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed T2~T3 spinous process fractures. The patient was treated conservatively and his pain subsided. The mechanism of injury is speculated to that of clay-shoveler's fractures. Therefore, if a golfer suffers persistent pain in the cervicothoracic region, clay-shoveler's fracture is one possibility to consider.
