1990년대에 들어서면서 유럽 각국에서는 기존의 빈곤 패러다임을 대체하는 '사회적 배제(social exclusion)'라는 새로운 개념을 사용하여 빈곤과 불평등에 관한 새로운 접근법을 제시하고 있다. 이에 관해서 실버(H. Silver, 1994)는 사회적 배제의 세 가지 패러다임(공화주의, 자유주의, 그리고 사민주의)을 제시하면서, 한 사회가 기반하고 있는 철학에 따라서 사회적 배제에 대한 인식과 상황이 달라진다는 것을 논구하고 있다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구는 사회적 배제에 대한 인식과 전략에서 각각 세 가지 패러다임을 대표하고 있는 프랑스, 영국, 스웨덴의 경우 실제 사회적 배제 상황에서도 차이를 보이는지를 살펴볼 목적으로 작성되었다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 논문은 사회적 배제에 대한 "(이론적) 개념화$\rightarrow$(국가별) 유형화$\rightarrow$(측정) 지표화"의 세 가지 단계를 거치면서 연구대상 국가별로 사회적 배제의 상황이 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 차이를 보이는지를 살펴본다. 또한 이를 기초로 정직한 유의차(Honestly Significant Difference: HSD) 기법을 사용하여 사회적 배제 지표별로 연구대상 국가간에 어떠한 짝짓기가 가능한가를 살펴봄으로써, 이념적 기반에 따라서 다른 사회적 배제 상황을 보이고 있다는 사실을 밝히고 있다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구는 실버(1994)의 세 가지 패러다임을 실증적으로 입증하여 그의 주장을 보완하는 의미를 가지는 한편으로, 실제적으로 한 사회가 기반하고 있는 철학적인 배경의 차이가 구체적인 사회적 현상(여기서는 사회적 배제)의 차이를 가져오는 지 여부에 대한 보다 포괄적이고 보편적인 논의를 가능하게 하는 의미를 아울러 가지고 있다고 할 수 있다.

Artificial neural networks (ANN) have successfully applied into various areas. But, How to effectively established network is the one of the critical problem. This study will focus on this problem and try to extensively study. Firstly, four different learning algorithms ANNs were constructed. The learning algorithms include backpropagation, simulated annealing, genetic algorithm, and tabu search. The experimental results of the above four different learning algorithms were tested by statistical analysis. The training RMS, training time, and testing RMS were used as the comparison criteria.

The current understanding of the neurobiology of anxiety is generally based on experimental animal model, empirical effective psychopharmacological agents, chemical and naturalistic challenge paradigms, and psychoendocinological assessment. This article focuses on reviewing neuroanantomical, neuroendocinological and neurofunctional research of anxiety disorder. In the decade ahead, we anticipate that extension of current research and the new integrated approach promise novel insight into mechanism of anxiety.

This paper is organized as follows. Section 2 illustrates several applications of neural networks. Section 3 presents the theoretical aspects of the major neural network paradigms as well as the structure of the back -propagation network used in the study. Section 4 describes the experiment including data analysis, modeling, and the performance criteria followed by the detailed discussion of the experimental results. Future research avenues including advantages and limitations of neural network are presented in the last section.

Since the 1980s, no concepts have been paid more attention to in discussions of environmental policy and natural resource management than ″sustainability″ and ″sustainable development.″ The concepts, however, are still vague and elusive even though they are frequently being used by a wide range of fields including academia. governments, and the private sector. To identify the diversity, range and concepts of sustainability. this paper will conceptualize the theoretical paradigms and social implications of sustainability and will develop general principles in Public policy.

The goal of this research is to find a theoretical base of the ecological paradigm, and explore the architectural ramification of the paradigm. To understand the paradigm in a historical and philosophical context, the paradigm is comparatively analyzed with the contrasting, Descartes-Newtonian paradigm to reveal the influence of each respective paradigm in various fields of science, such as logic, physics, bio-medical sciences, psychology, social sciences, and architecture. The affect in architectural ream is studied to find out the patterns of how the two contrasting paradigms have been materialized since the era of modern architecture and later. At the end, this paper proposes the possible architectural application methods of ecological design process.

Internet is now changing the paradigms of traditional commercial activities. As more and more companies are actively involved in electronic commerce using Internet, it is becoming more imperative to understand the customers' perception of electronic commerce to foster healthy growth of Internet electronic commerce. However, research on customer satisfaction in electronic commerce has been scarce. This research investigates the factors affecting customer perception of electronic commerce and suggests the models and the results of the empirical study.

The role of conformational entropy of polymer chains in polymer crystallization is investigated by molecular modeling and theory. The entropy of folded loops dominates at experimentally relevant temperatures to dictate short equilibrium lamellar thicknesses, which are much smaller than the extended chain thickness. Also the entropic barriers control the kinetics of polymer crystallization. These results based on chain entropy are different from the classical views of how polymer chains crystallize.

The purpose of this research is to provide the logistics research with a focus on the methods and theory of the research. This paper finds to explain the patterns of logistics research in domestic through the investigation of different theories and research methods employed. A analysis of methods in selected topics allows published research of the logistics to be categorized. Research classified into integrated table by each theory, research topic, methodology and triangulation. Study presented a variety of research paradigms in logistics and contributed to the current literature by providing an outlook of the logistics research.
