EER 모델을 이용한 Java Object 모델링과 Object 파서의 구현 (Java Object Modeling Using EER Model and the Implementation of Object Parser)

  • The modeling components in the object-oriented paradigm are based on the object, not the structured function or procedure. That is, in the past, when one wanted to solve problems, he would describe the solution procedure. However, the object-oriented paradigm includes the concepts that solve problems through interaction between objects. The object-oriented model is constructed by describing the relationship between object to represent the real world. As in object-oriented model the relationships between objects increase, the control of objects caused by their insertions, deletions, and modifications comes to be very complex and difficult. Because the loss of the referential integrity happens and the object reusability is reduced. For these reasons, the necessity of the control of objects and the visualization of the relationships between them is required. In order that we design a database necessary to implement Object Browser that has functionalities to visualize Java objects and to perform the query processing in Java object modeling, in this paper we show the processes for EER modeling on Java object and its transformation into relational database schema. In addition we implement Java Object Parser that parses Java object and inserts the parsed results into the implemented database.

Pedagogical Paradigm-based LIO Learning Objects for XML Web Services

  • In this paper, we introduce the sharable and reusable learning objects which are suitable for XML Web services in e-learning systems. These objects are extracted from the principles of pedagogical paradigms for reusable learning units. We call them LIO (Learning Item Object) objects. Existing models, such as Web-hosted and ASP-oriented service model, are difficult to cooperate and integrate among the different kinds of e-learning systems. So we developed the LIO objects that are suitable for XML Web services. The reusable units that are extracted from pedagogical paradigms are tutorial item, resource, case example, simulation, problems, test, discovery and discussion. And these units correspond to the LIO objects in our learning object model. As a result, the proposed model is that learner and instruction designer should increase the power of understanding about learning contents that are based on pedagogical paradigms. By using XML Web services, this guarantees the integration and interoperation of the different kinds of e-learning systems in distributed environments and so educational organizations can expect the cost reduction in constructing e-learning systems.

UML을 이용한 화상 대화 시스템의 설계 (A Design of Video Conversation System Using the UML)

  • 현재 소프트웨어 개발의 주요한 패러다임인 객체지향 설계를 많은 시스템들이 채택하고 있으나, 화상 대화를 대상으로 한 연구들에서 본격적인 객체지향 설계의 적용은 그리 많지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 화상 대화 시스템에 대한 객체지향 설계를 위한 UML을 이용한 체계적인 아키텍처의 설계를 제시한다. 화상 대화 시스템에 대하여 체계적인 기능/비기능적 요구사항을 포착하고, '4+1 View Model'을 적용하여 객체지향 설계를 함으로써, 컴포넌트들은 재사용성을 담보하며, 이후 필요에 따라 컴포넌트들을 추가하여 시스템을 확장하는 것이 가능하다. 또한, 본 논문에서 설계한 화상 대화 애플리케이션의 컴포넌트들은 다른 여러 화상 대화 시스템에 활용 가능하며, 웹 환경에서의 서비스로도 확장될 것으로 기대된다.

장애개념의 변화와 사회복지실천 현장 함의 (Changes in the Concept of Disability and its Implications for Social Work Practice)

  • 본 연구는 세계적으로 변화해 가고 있는 장애인에 대한 사회적 인식을 검토하고, 이러한 사회적 인식의 변화가 우리나라에서 장애인을 위한 사회복지실천 현장에 어떤 과제들을 요구하고 있는가를 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 먼저, 보편적인 차원에서 장애에 대한 사회적 반응에 따라 장애인에 대한 서비스 패러다임이 어떤 방향으로 변화하고 있는지를 살펴본다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 장애에 대한 사회적 반응 및 서비스 패러다임의 변화가 우리나라의 실천현장에 요구하고 있는 함의들을 모색한다. 장애인에 대한 20세기 이전의 사회적 반응은 사회적으로 부적합하며, 장애는 개인의 책임으로 생각하였다. 그러다가 20세기 중반기와 후반기를 거치면서 장애에 대한 사회적 책임이 중요하게 제기되었다. 이러한 장애에 대한 사회적 반응의 변화는 장애를 설명하는 개념적 모델에서도 변화를 초래하였는데, 이른바 개별적 모델에서 사회적 모델로의 변화이다. 또한 사회적 반응 및 개념적 모델의 변화는 세계보건기구의 장애정의 및 분류에 영향을 미쳐서 1980년, 1997년, 2001년에 걸쳐서 새로운 정의와 분류체계들이 제시되었다. 이러한 변화들은 장애인에 대한 사회복지서비스 패러다임의 변화와 관련이 있으며, 이러한 흐름은 강점중심의 접근, 능력강화접근법, 사례관리, 자립생활모델 등을 통해서 설명된다. 장애에 대한 사회적 반응, 장애 개념, 서비스 패러다임의 변화는 동일한 방향으로 일관되게 전개되고 있다. 이러한 일관된 변화에 대한 논의를 통해서 본 연구에서 제기하는 실천현장에서의 함의는 사정과정에서 장애 당사자의 참여 강화, 사회 환경적 관점을 강조하는 방향으로의 사정 도구의 재검토, 장애당사자의 자기결정능력을 극대화하기 위한 정보제공 기능의 강화, 장애 당사자의 공식적 및 비공식적 원조망에 대한 지원 강화, 자조집단 프로그램의 강화, 배치모델에서 지원모델로의 전환 등으로 요약될 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we propose a compliance control scheme using a neurofuzzzy compliance model(NFCM). as a new control paradigm for telerobot systems. A NFCM, used as a compliance controller, is composed of a fuzzy compliance model(FCM), a neural network and a low pass filter. The NFCM is trained through a reinforcement learning algorithm, and then, can generate suitable compliant motion for a given task. A series of simulations have been performed to show applicability of the proposed algorithm send it is found that the NFCM can implement suitable compliant motion for a given task through the learning procedure.

장애에 대한 사회적모델과 자립생활모델에 대한 이론적 비교 연구 (Theoretical Comparison between Social Model of Disability and Independent Living Model)

  • 본 연구는 영국에서 태동한 장애에 대한 사회적모델과 미국에서 발현된 자립생활모델을 이론적으로 비교함으로써 각 모델이 갖는 정체성을 뚜렷하게 부각시키는데 있다. 연구결과, 상이점으로 사회적모델은 거시적인 이념적 수준에서 장애의 원인에 대한 패러다임의 변화를 추구한 반면, 자립생활모델은 자조모임과 활동보조서비스라는 구체적인 사회변화 양상을 요구하는 자립생활실천의 미시적 관점에서 당사자의 서비스에 대한 통제권을 강조한다. 유사성으로서는 당사자주의, 장애에 대한 사회적 책임, 초기단계에서의 지적장애인의 소외, 장애인차별금지법 제정에의 추동력 제공 등을 들 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 양 모델의 정체성을 보다 뚜렷하게 하는 장점과 함께, 향후 서비스 실천현장에서, 장애운동계에서 어떻게 이들을 이해하고 있으며 실제 관련 법률의 개정, 장애인장기요양제도 등의 도입·전개에 있어 실제 어떠한 영향을 미쳤는지를 살펴볼 수 있는 이론적 틀을 제시했다는데 그 의의가 있다.

Applying the Multiple Cue Probability Learning to Consumer Learning

  • In the present study, we apply the multiple cue probability learning (MCPL) paradigm to examine consumer learning from feedback in repeated trials. This paradigm is useful in investigating consumer learning, especially learning the relationships between the overall quality and attributes. With this paradigm, we can analyze what people learn from repeated trials by using the lens model, i.e., whether it is knowledge or consistency. In addition to introducing this paradigm, we aim to demonstrate that knowledge people gain from repeated trials with feedback is robust enough to weaken one of the most often examined contextual effects, the asymmetric dominance effect. The experiment consists of learning session and a choice task and stimuli are sport rafting boats with motor engines. During the learning session, the participants are shown an option with three attributes and are asked to evaluate its overall quality and type in a number between 0 and 100. Then an expert's evaluation, a number between 0 and 100, is provided as feedback. This trial is repeated fifteen times with different sets of attributes, which comprises one learning session. Depending on the conditions, the participants do one (low) or three (high) learning sessions or do not go through any learning session (no learning). After learning session, the participants then are provided with either a core or an extended choice set to make a choice to examine if learning from feedback would weaken the asymmetric dominance effect. The experiment uses a between-subjects experimental design (2 × 3; core set vs. extended set; no vs. low vs. high learning). The results show that the participants evaluate the overall qualities more accurately with learning. They learn the true trade-off rule between attributes (increase in knowledge) and become more consistent in their evaluations. Regarding the choice task, there is a significant decrease in the percentage of choosing the target option in the extended sets with learning, which clearly demonstrates that learning decreases the magnitude of the asymmetric dominance effect. However, these results are significant only when no learning condition is compared either to low or high learning condition. There is no significant result between low and high learning conditions, which may be due to fatigue or reflect the characteristics of learning curve. The present study introduces the MCPL paradigm in examining consumer learning and demonstrates that learning from feedback increases both knowledge and consistency and weakens the asymmetric dominance effect. The latter result may suggest that the previous demonstrations of the asymmetric dominance effect are somewhat exaggerated. In a single choice setting, people do not have enough information or experience about the stimuli, which may lead them to depend mostly on the contextual structure among options. In the future, more realistic stimuli and real experts' judgments can be used to increase the external validity of study results. In addition, consumers often learn through repeated choices in real consumer settings. Therefore, what consumers learn from feedback in repeated choices would be an interesting topic to investigate.

진화주의 기술경제학과 '왈라스 함정' (Can the Evolutionary Economics Solve the Walras' Trap?)

  • Despite of the impressive progress made in the Evolutionary techno-economics during the last two decades, there have been very little, if not at all, theoretical advancement in explaining an endogenous mechanism of transforming a technological paradigm within self-perpetuatingstructural dynamics. The question poorly attempted was raised by Schumpeter a century ago in his effort to overcome the well-known 'Walras' trap'. Although there have been increasing number of researchers recently tackling the issue quite seriously from within the Evolutionary school, I see it that radical reconstruction of the basic principle of Evolutionary research framework is urgently needed to solve the century long fundamental question, from evolutionary approach to transformational approach. In the paper, I will show the theoretical feasibility of explaining an endogenous mechanism of paradigm transformation, relying upon the concept of localized dynamics and the concept of morphogenetic structuration. It should be emphasized that there must be aendogenous process of deepening structural Instability generated in the process of economic coordination to secure efficient circular flow. The concept of development bottleneck initiated by the Baumol's cost disease could be regarded as one of the important source of such mechanism. Unfortunately, however, it is a brief conceptual description presented in the paper rather than a comprehensive analytical model, due to the space limitation imposed.

  • Most countries have their own culture that presents different types of behaviour. The employees' specific ways of working, according to each country, influence its organisation, thus cultural differences have become an essential issue in operating management. Therefore, this study explored how the different cultures based on Hofstede's paradigm interact within the specific Korean context. This study examined how cultural related HRM practices were enacted in the Korean hotel industry, how the frameworks of Hofstede's model impact the employee outcomes, including the concept of organisational justice. This study followed a quantitative approach which relied on a positivist paradigm to evaluate the different HRM practices at hotel workplaces with the view of employees. This study gathered a survey on 601 hotel employees in the deluxe sector. The analysis of quantitative data was undertaken using SPSS version 23.0 software and AMOS 23.0 to achieve the research aim for the study. This study contributes new findings to the research literature. The results of this study showed how Confucianism also plays a predominant role in understanding Korean culture, more than the Hofstede's original four dimensions of culture.

  • 본 연구에서는 초등학생 독서 패러다임의 변화를 기반으로 공공도서관과 학교도서관의 협력방안을 제시하고자 한다. 선행된 연구를 통해 초등학생 독서교육에 대한 이론적 고찰을 하고, 초등학생 독서실태 분석을 통해 독서 패러다임의 변화를 제시한다. 노원구 소재 초등학교 학교도서관 현황 및 협력 현황 분석을 통해 공공도서관과 학교도서관의 협력방안 모델로 노원어린이도서관의 학교도서관 협력방안 프로젝트를 제시하고 결론을 맺고자 한다.
