  • The smart phone is a representative personal device that can provide information onan individual's behavior related to real-life places, where the mobile phone users frequently stay and go, and the people who call or meet with the user. This paper proposes moving modeling that is based on the individual life logs using mobile phone data for identifying individuals. This method can be used to recommend the most suitable phone-service.

  • After ten years from the introduction of CRM systems, many companies reevaluate CRM from the perspective of customers. This paper classifies CRM activities at the contact points with customers and investigates the effect of CRM activities on perceived benefits and the effect of perceived benefits on behavioral intention in the Korean cosmetic industry. The result showed that contact management and complaint handling affected social benefits and that customers perceived confidence benefits from contact management, complaint handling, and churn management. Special treatment benefits were affected by all CRM activities including compensation management. Finally, all kinds of benefits had effects on behavioral intention such as recommendation intention and repurchase intention.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the evaluation models of internet sites and to analyze the factors affecting the consumer satisfaction of health information sites in the Internet. Based on the covariance structural model applied to a customer survey, this study shows that among the characteristics of the site. contents has the most significant effect on customer satisfaction, which in turn affects the consumer willingness to recommend the site to others.

  • It is very important how users query MM data and how the query results are presented in MMDB systems. Also, the query results are represented as the generalized form so as to be used in various applications. In this paper, we propose a generalized method for querying and presenting MM data by extending query language based on presentation elements of SMIUSMIL is W3C recommendation for synchronized MM presentation). Our system provides the query results for users as SMIL format in order to be used for various applications.

New Texture Prediction for Multi-view Video Coding

  • This paper introduces a new texture prediction for MVC( Multi-view Video Coding) which is currently being developed as an extension of the ITU-T Recommendation H.264 | ISO/IEC International Standard ISO/IEC 14496-10 AVC (Advanced Video Coding) [1]. The MVC's prcimary target is 3D video compression for 3D display system, thus, key technology compared to 2D video compression is reducing inter-view correlation. It is noticed, however, that the current JMVM [2] does not effectively eliminate inter-view correlation so that there is still a room to improve coding efficiency. The proposed method utilizes similarity of interview residual signal and can provide an additional coding gain. It is claimed that up to 0.2dB PSNR gain with 1.4% bit-rate saving is obtained for three multi-view test sequences.

  • This paper describes the test techniques that are used for the implementation test of signalling link function in the signalling system No.7 recommended by 0703 in CCITT red book. The test scenarios are produced by means of the state transition diagrams which are based on the specification of CCITT recommendation 0703. This test scenarios consist of five independent tasks written in MC68000 assembly language and are scheduled to be executed in multitasking kernel. This test scenarios can also be used to test signalling link function implemented in the different environment.

  • Recently, there is a rapidly growing demand for efficient real-tine playback and transmission of large amounts of multimedia data. But most users' connections are not fast enough to download large chunks of multimedia data. Therefore a streaming technology is needed in which users enable the real-time playback of multimedia date without having to download the whole of the multimedia date. In this paper, we propose a personalized IP streaming system. The proposed IP streaming system enables users to got an intelligent recommendation of multimedia contents based on the user preference information stored on the streaming server or the home media server. Moreover, users are assured of seamless access of streamed content event if they switch to another client device by implementing streaming system based on user identification and device information. We evaluate our approach with simulation results.

  • In the mobile environment, according to the movement of the object, the query finds the nearest special object or place from object position. However, because query object moves continuously in the mobile environment, query demand changes according to the direction attribute of query object. Also, in the case of moving of query object and simply the minimum distance value of query result, sometimes we find the result against the query object direction. Especially, in most road condition, as user has to return after reaching U-turn area, user rather spends time and cost. Therefore, in order to solve those problems, in this paper we propose the nearest neighbor method considering moving object position and direction for mobile recommendation system.

  • This paper implemented system that run Canonical XML and SOAP messages algorithm. So, can change to more elaborate regular document. Thus, interoperable with other application that takes W3C recommendation. Also, use in several system that physical identify is required when it exchange XML and SOAP messages for web service interoperability. Moreover, Adding the transformation ability between universal encoding scheme and EUC-KR that is internal encoding scheme should be Canonical XML and SOAP messages algorithm that is suited to internal circumstances, and this should be a foundation technique of international interoperability confirmedness.
