Comparison of Classification Rules Regarding SaMD Between the Regulation EU 2017/745 and the Directive 93/42/EEC

  • The global market size of AI based SaMD for medical image in 2023 will be anticipated to reach around 620 billion won (518 million dollars). In order for Korean manufacturers to efficiently obtain CE marking for marketing in the EU countries, the paper is to introduce the recommendation and suggestion of how to reclassify SaMD based on classification rules of MDR because, after introducing the Regulation EU 2017/745, classification rules are quite modified and newly added compared to the Directive 93/42/EEC. In addition, the paper is to provide several rules of MDR that may be applicable to decide the classification of SaMD. Lastly, the paper is to examine and demonstrate various secondary data supported by qualitative data because the paper focuses on the suggestion and recommendation with a public trust on the basis of various secondary data conducted by the analysis of field data. In conclusion, the paper found that the previous classification of SaMD followed by the rule of MDD should be reclassified based on the Regulation EU 2017/745. Therefore, the suggestion and recommendation are useful for Korean manufacturers to comprehend the classification of SaMD for marketing in the EU countries.

  • 본 논문은 자동차 점검이 이루어질 때 작업현장, 교육현장, 기타 시공간에서 현재 상황에 따라 지능화 및 개인화에 근거해 추천함으로써 생산성 향상, 비용절감, 성과향상 등을 이루고자 한다. 이에 본 연구는 태스크 온톨로지를 이용한 자동차 점검 추천시스템 개발 방법을 설계하였다. 추천 방법은 추상개념을 기반으로 각 추상개념에 연결되는 부품들을 가중치 값 순서로 보여줄 수 있도록 하고, 부품이 다른 추상개념과 연결될 경우 부품들을 확장하여 보여 주도록 하였다.

  • The location-based service is one of the most powerful services in the mobile area. The location-based service provides information service for moving user's location information and information service using wire / wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a model for personalized recommendation system which includes location information and personalized recommendation system for location-based service. For this service system, we consider mobile clients that have a limited resource and low bandwidth. Because it is difficult to input the words at mobile device, we must deliberate it when we design the interface of system. We design and implement the personalized recommendation system for location-based services(advertisement, discount news, and event information) that support user's needs and location information. As a result, it can be used to design the other location-based service systems related to user's location information in mobile environment. In this case, we need to establish formal definition of moving objects and their temporal pattern.

Collaborative filtering based Context Information for Real-time Recommendation Service in Ubiquitous Computing

  • In pure P2P environment, it is possible to provide service by using a little real-time information without using accumulated information. But in case of using only a little information that was locally collected, quality of recommendation service can be fallen-off. Therefore, it is necessary to study a method to improve qualify of recommendation service by using users' context information. But because a great volume of users' context information can be recognized in a moment, there can be a scalability problem and there are limitations in supporting differentiated services according to fields and items. In this paper, we solved the scalability problem by clustering context information per each service field and classifying it per each user, using SOM. In addition, we could recommend proper services for users by quantifying the context information of the users belonging to the similar classification to the service requester among classified data and then using collaborative filtering.

  • Two defects have been pointed out in existing user-based collaborative filtering such as sparsity and scalability, and the research has been also made progress, which tries to improve these defects using item-based collaborative filtering. Actually there were many results, but the problem of sparsity still remains because of being based on an explicit data. In addition, the issue has been pointed out. which attributes of item arenot reflected in the recommendation. This paper suggests a recommendation method using nave Bayesian algorithm in hybrid user and item-based collaborative filtering to improve above-mentioned defects of existing item-based collaborative filtering. This method generates a similarity table for each user and item, then it improves the accuracy of prediction and recommendation item using naive Bayesianalgorithm. It was compared and evaluated with existing item-based collaborative filtering technique to estimate the accuracy.

A Recommendation Procedure for Group Users in Online Communities

  • Nowadays many people participate in online communities for information sharing. But most recommender systems are designed for personalization of individual user, so it is necessary to develop a recommendation procedure for group users, such as participants in online communities. This paper proposes a group recommender system to recommend books for group users in online communities. For such a purpose, we suggest a group recommendation procedure consisting of two phases. The first phase is to generate recommendation list for 'big user' using collaborative filtering, and the second phase is to remove irrelevant books among previous list reflecting the preference of each individual user. The procedure is explained step by step with an illustrative example. And this procedure can potentially be applied to other domains, such as music, movies and etc.

맞춤형 융복합 웰니스 콘텐츠를 위한 추천 서비스 시스템에 대한 연구 (A study on Recommendation Service System for the Customized Convergence Wellness Contents)

  • Recently, the importance of personalized healthcare(wellness) services is increasing in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. However, the authoring of wellness contents fused with variety of contents and the study of the system which provides the customized recommendation are insufficient. In this paper, we proposes the recommendation service system for the customized convergence wellness contents. The proposed system makes to the wellness contents by the existing cultural/tourism/leisure contents and recommends the customized wellness contents based on a user's profile and the situation information such as location and weather. The proposed systems is expected to contribute to designing the innovative and new service models for the tailored wellness content.

  • 기존의 협업필터링 기반의 추천시스템에 대한 연구는 정확한 평점예측에 집중되면서 추천시스템의 수행시간이 길어지게 되고, 선호아이템을 짧은 시간에 추천해주는 본래의 목적에서 멀어지게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 Preference Difference Metric을 이용하여 평점예측이 아닌 선호 아이템의 분류를 통한 추천을 수행하여 수행시간을 단축하고 정확도를 유지하는 추천 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • 모바일앱의 플랫폼 종속성과 디바이스 자원 한계에 대한 이슈를 극복하기 위해 모바일웹 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 모바일웹 서비스의 개발 및 운영 생산성을 향상시키기 위한 방법은 모바일웹들 간에 낮은 결합력을 제공하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 결합력을 낮추기 위해 모바일웹 동적 연결의 추천기법을 제안한다. 모바일웹 추천기법은 XDPL 기반으로 제안한다.

  • It is not easy for the user to find the information that is appropriate for the user among the suddenly increasing information in recent years. One of the ways to help individuals make decisions in such a lot of information is the recommendation system. Although there are many recommendation methods for such recommendation systems, a representative method is collaborative filtering. In this paper, we design and implement the movie recommendation system on user-based collaborative filtering of apache mahout based on mongoDB. In addition, Pearson correlation coefficient is used as a method of measuring the similarity between users. We evaluate Precision and Recall using the MovieLens 100k dataset for performance evaluation.
