조선 도장공정 운영전략 수립을 위한 사전모의실험기법 (Rough-cut simulation algorithm for the decision of operations policy at the block paint shop in shipbuilding)

  • This paper introduces the case study that has been performed at the block paint shop, Hyundai Heavy Industries. First of all, the overall production processes of shipbuilding and research activities conducted by Korean are reviewed with a view-point of production planning. Then HYPOS(Hyundai heavy industries Painting shop Operation System) project is briefly described, which has several modules such as planning module, scheduling module, work order module, and DB(database) management module. Although the HYPOS system has several modules, this paper mainly focuses on the planning module that utilizes the rough-cut simulation algorithm to make a decision about the policy for production schedule. The HYPOS has been operated since June, 2000 and the operation data has been collected for the purpose of future evaluation about the performance of HYPOS system. The evaluation of HYPOS will be shown in a public domain as soon as the enough operation data is available.

  • Although the work of neural style transfer has shown successful applications in transferring the style of a certain type of artistic painting, it is less effective in transferring Oriental paintings. In this paper, we explore three methods which are effective in transferring Oriental paintings. Then, we take a typical network from each method to carry on the experiment, in view of three different methods to Oriental paintings style transfer effect has carried on the discussion.

  • This work studies the behaviour of a steel portal frame selection under fire exposure, considering both span lengths and fire exposure times as variables. Such structures combine carbon steel (S275), fireproof micro-alloyed steel (FR), and coatings of intumescent paint with variable thicknesses, improving thereby the flame retardant behaviour of the steel structure. Thus, the main contribution of this study is the optimization of the portal frames by combining both steels, analysing the resulting costs influence on the final dimensions. Besides, the topological optimization of each steel component within the structure is also defined, in accordance with the following variables: weather conditions, span, paint thickness, and cost of steel. The results mainly confirmed that using both FR and S275 grades with intumescent painting is the Pareto optimum when considering performance, feasibility and costs of such portal frames widely used for industrial facilities.

강교량 재도장 로봇의 모니터링 모듈 시제품 개발 (Development of a Prototype Monitoring Module for Steel Bridge Repainting Robots)

  • With the need for efficient maintenance technology to reduce maintenance costs for steel bridges, repainting robots are being developed to automate the work in narrow and poor bridge spaces. The repainting robot is equipped with a blasting module to remove paint layers and contaminants. This study developed a prototype monitoring module to be mounted on the repainting robot. The monitoring module analyzes the condition of the painting surface through a camera installed in the front, guides the direction of movement of the robot, and provides the operator with a video to check the working status after blasting through a camera installed in the back. Various image visibility enhancement technologies were applied to the monitoring module to overcome worksite challenges where incomplete lighting and dust occurs.

  • A vast amount of labeled data is required for deep neural network training. A typical strategy to improve the performance of a neural network given a training data set is to use data augmentation technique. The goal of this work is to offer a novel image augmentation method for improving object detection accuracy. An object in an image is removed, and a similar object from the training data set is placed in its area. An in-painting algorithm fills the space that is eliminated but not filled by a similar object. Our technique shows at most 2.32 percent improvements on mAP in our testing on a military vehicle dataset using the YOLOv4 object detector.

한국 근대 서양화에 표현된 한복의 배색에 관한 연구 (Coloration of Han-bok on Modern Korean Oil-Paintings)

  • The purpose of this study is to comprehend the color and the coloration of Han-bok on the oil-painting of modern Korea. Generally, the modern Korean art is from late 19th to early 1980s' for the lowest year. Through the introduction of oil painting and the painter's work which had been reflected painter's realism at these times, we might know that the phases of the times and we could see a Korean costume and color combination. In this study, Han-bok is divided to upper clothes, lower clothes and the other parts which was distinguished by the color. The color of Han-bok which is watched on the modern art oil-painting is mainly white. The primary color including red, yellow, blue and middle tone colors is in harmony. It means that the five colors of Yin-Yang Wu-hsing were preferred until the modern times. The coloration of Han-bok is classified to a one-colored arrangement, two-colored arrangement and three-colored arrangement. The one-colored arrangement by white and black is a peculiar coloration to the modern times. The two-colored arrangement is a traditional coloration of Han-bok. The color which is high value and chroma is arranged on jacket, Jeogori. A dimension rate that is related with the difference of value and chroma made a visual harmony. In many cases of the two-colored arrangement of neutral colors is not much different in Jeogori and Chima. So Han-bok which is two-colored arrangement of neutral colors is colored in a breast- tie, pigtail ribbon, cuff and waist band for getting visual focus. The represented three-colored arrangement is white Jeogori and navy blue Chima with red breast-tie. It is a perfect visual color combination. The color of Han-bok was inherited a traditional color and the combination of neutral color was balanced. It was a refinable coloration system according to a difference of value and chroma. It means that a color sensation and arrangement of Korean have been developed by our unique climate, nations and the culture which has been formed for a long times.

정신과 환자가 인지한 활동요법의 효과와 기대에 대한 연구 (A study of psychiatric patients perceived effect and expectance of the activity therapy)

  • The intent of chis descriptive study is to investigale lhe patients perceived effect and expectance of activity therapy. The subjects for this study were 56 patients from the psychiatric ward in Severance Hospital. The data were collected during Lhe period from June 1, 1991 to January 18, 1992. The effect and expectance of the activity therapy was measured using a questionnaire developed by this study's investigators. The date were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test ancl one-way ANOVA, using the SPSS program. The results of this study can ue summarized as following ; 1. For motivatiorc for the accivity therapy, the response range was from 64.;] % to 89.3 %, that is, it showed a relatively positive response. 2. For the degree of improvement according to the nurse's method in the activity therapy, it was shown that the nurses need professional skill and meeting after activity therapy. 3. For the relevance of the nurse in the activity therapy, 90 % of the subjects had a positive answer for all of the activity therapy except the painting therapy. 4. For the perceived effect of the activity therapy, the following results were obtained. 1) 92% of the subjects had a positive response to the dance therapy, that is-I am vigorous physically. 2) 90 % of the subjects had a positive response to the reading therapy, that is-I acquire good ideas and instruction. 3) 98.1 % of the subjects had a positive response to the recreation therapy, that is-I am joyful. 4) 88.9% of the subjects had a posilive response to the writing therapy, that is-I am interested and become acquainted with other patients. 5) 86.8 % of tbe subjects had a positive response to the occupation therapy, that is-I am happy when I work. 6) 92.6 % of the subjeccs had a positive response to lhe painting therapy, that is-I can express myself in painting. 7) 87.3% of the subjects had a positive response to the musie therapy, that is-I am comforted. 5. For the expectance related to the activity therapy, 97.1 % the subjects had the most postive response to the music therapy which is a pleasant comfortable time. From the above-mentioned findings, it is suggested that psychiatric nurses need to development systematic and professional group activity therapy, and know the patient premorbid hobbies, interests and occupations.

휘발성 유기화합물 제거를 위한 저온 vacuum swing adsorption 공정의 실용화 연구 (Practical Study of Low-temperature Vacuum Swing Adsorption Process for VOCs Removal)

  • 본 연구에서는 주요한 휘발성 유기화합물의 발생원인 도장공장 중에서 중소규모의 공장에 적용 가능한 저온 vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) 기술에 대하여 연구하였다. 저온 VSA 기술이란 기존의 thermal swing adsorption (TSA)의 단점을 보완하기 위하여 저온($60{\sim}90^{\circ}C$)에서 감압하여 흡착질을 탈착하는 방식이다. 국내에서 시판되고 있는 상용 활성탄을 이용하여 대표적인 VOCs인 톨루엔의 흡 탈착 특성을 랩(Lab)규모로 실험하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 $30m^3min^{-1}$ 규모의 VSA 시스템을 설계하여 실제 도장 공장에 적용하여 VSA 시스템의 현장적용 가능성에 대하여 평가하였다. 랩 규모 실험 결과, 2 mm 펠렛형 활성탄은 4 mm 펠렛형 활성탄보다 높은 톨루엔 흡착능을 나타내었으며, 이에 파일럿 규모의 VSA의 충진 활성탄으로 사용되었다. 탈착 실험에서는 $80{\sim}90^{\circ}C$의 온도와 100 torr의 압력이 최적 조건으로 결정되었다. 랩 규모 실험 결과를 바탕으로 파일럿 규모 VSA 시스템을 설계하였으며 실제 도장 공장에 현장 적용하여 95회 흡 탈착 실험을 반복 수행하였다. 수행 결과, 연속 흡 탈착 반복실험 후, 도정공장에서 배출된 VOCs를 98% 이상 효과적으로 제거 가능함을 확인하였으며 VSA 시스템의 안정적인 현장 적용이 가능함을 검증하였다.

고려시대 금채자기의 채색기법 재현실험 연구 (Research on Re-creational Experiment and Technique of Gold Powder Painting for Goryeo Gold-painted Porcelain)

  • 본 연구는 2007년 국립중앙박물관 소장유물인 고려시대 화금청자 2점과 중국 북송시기 화금도자 3점의 금 잔존여부 및 금채의 채색기법 연구를 바탕으로 고려시대 금채장식을 재현 실험하였다. 도자기 시편 위에 4개의 교착제와 금분을 섞어 금채 후 $100^{\circ}C{\sim}1200^{\circ}C$까지 단계별 번조하여 표면의 교착상태와 발색력을 현미경과 색도를 관찰하였다. 이를 통해 각 교착제에 따른 시각적 효과와 적정온도를 파악하였고, 그 중 기름과 아교가 가장 뛰어난 교착력과 발색력을 보이는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 따라 완형의 현대 재현 고려 상감청자의 유약 표면에 기름과 아교를 각각 금채한 후 적정온도인 $700^{\circ}C{\sim}800^{\circ}C$에서 번조하였으며, 두 교착제가 유약 위에 교착된 상태를 파악하기 위해 금채의 단면을 SEM으로 관찰하였다. 그 결과, 교착력은 차이가 없었으나, 발색력, 밀도 등은 아교가 다소 떨어지는 차이가 있었다. 또한 기름은 실온에서 건조되지 않는 반면, 아교는 건조되는 장점으로 작업성이 좋은 편이었다. 이에 반해, 아교는 작업성 측면에서는 기름에 비해 매우 뛰어난 장점을 보였으나 발색력에서는 기름에 비해 다소 떨어지는 것을 이번 실험을 통해 알 수 있었다.

조희룡(趙熙龍)의 집필활동(執筆活動)과 회화심미(繪畵審美) 고찰 - 임자도(荏子島) 유배기(流配期)(1851~1853)와 관련하여...- (A Study on the Jo Hee-Ryong's work in Writing and Painting's Aesthetic - In relation to the term of banishment(1851~1853) on Imja Island-)

  • 조선 후기 묵장(墨場)의 영수(領岫)로 불리었던 조희룡(趙熙龍)(1789~1866)은 양반가문 출신이었지만 스스로 여항인(閭巷人)이라고 자처하였으며, 중인(中人)들을 중심으로 벽오사(碧梧社)를 결성하여 문예 활동을 하였다. 우봉(又峯)은 "불긍거후(不肯車後)"를 전 생애를 관통하는 예술정신으로 삼았으며, 성영론(性靈論)을 내세워 감성 내지 영감을 예술의 요체로 여겨 진정(眞正)과 개성(個性)을 중시한 독창적 회화심미를 추구하였다. 60대 초반에 약 3년간의 임자도 유배기간은 그의 예술세계에 대한 정체성과 방향성에 심대한 영향을 끼쳤다. 이 기간에 "화구암란묵(畵鷗??墨)", "우해악암고(又海岳庵稿)", "수경재해외적독(壽鏡齋海外赤牘)", "한와헌제화잡존(漢瓦軒題畵雜存)" 등 4권의 저술을 썼으며, 당호(堂號)가 있는 그의 회화 19점 중 "황산냉운도(荒山冷雲圖)", "방운임산수도(倣雲林山水圖)", "매화서옥도(梅花書屋圖)"등 8점이 이때 제작되었다. 이들 작품을 통해 유희적(遊戱的) 속미(俗美) 정신과 수예(手藝)의 기괴(奇怪)함, 그리고 천예(天倪)의 자연스러운 회화심미를 드러내고 있다.
