  • This study aims to determine the effect of consumer preferences and awareness on interest in organic vegetables. Factors observed in this study were information, consumer preferences, consumer awareness, and consumer buying interest toward organic vegetables. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The data sampling technique uses accidental sampling method. The data was collected from respondents consisted of 100 consumers of five major retailers in the city of Bogor in Indonesia. The respondents consist of 80 female (80%), and 57 respondents are 25-34 years old (57%). In terms of education, type of job and monthly income of respondent, the sample can be categorized as middle-class segment. The data obtained were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of this study indicate that the information obtained by consumers significantly and positively affects consumer preferences and consumer awareness of organic vegetables. Then, consumer preferences and consumer awareness significantly and positively affect the interest of consumers to buy organic vegetables. Consumer preference for organic vegetables is still considered quite low. The factors that influence the low consumer preference are the price of organic vegetables, which is more expensive than non-organic vegetables and the unattractive packaging of organic vegetables.

  • This study examined the MZ Generation Consumers' perception and needs of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) using local food. The paper provides basic data for deriving a plan to promote local food consumption and reports the implications for various development and distribution strategies regarding HMR using local food. In this study, a quantitative survey was conducted targeting 600 consumers to examine the general consumption status of HMR using local food by MZ consumers. In addition, a qualitative survey was conducted targeting 21 people to derive the specific perceptions and unmet needs of MZ consumers. These results showed that MZ consumers require healthy and fresh HMR but have low awareness of HMR using local food. Therefore, it is necessary to deliver sufficient information and promote it. In particular, MZ consumers have high expectations for 'healthy and safe' food when purchasing HMR using local food, which plays an important role in purchasing decisions. They also valued 'convenience', which means 'simple cooking', 'subdivision packaging', and 'accessibility of purchasing channels', as important when purchasing HMR using local food. Lastly, MZ consumers positively evaluated the values of 'healthy eating' and 'revitalization of the local economy' through local food.

  • The concern about food security is rising as the unstable situation of food supply and demand due to the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change, and turbulent political situation. Korea's global food security index (GFSI), analyzed by the Economist Group, is considered good, but the level continuously decreases in comparing food security levels by country. In particular, Korea is highly dependent on food imports, and food and grain self-sufficiency rates continuously decrease. Therefore, increasing those rates to strengthen food security is urgent. Among the major grains, the self-sufficiency of wheat, com, and soybeans, except rice, is relatively low. Unlike the decrease in the annual rice consumption, the annual wheat consumption has been continuously maintained or increased, which is required public-private efforts to increase the self-sufficiency rate of wheat. Applying the government's policies implemented to increase the self-sufficiency rate of rice in the past will help increase the self-sufficiency rate of wheat. In other words, expanding wheat production and infrastructure, stabilizing supply and demand, and establishing a distribution system can be applied. However, the processing capability of wheat and rice is different, which is necessary to improve wheat quality and processing technology to produce consumer-preferred wheat-based products. The wheat and flour quality can be improved through breeding, cultivation, post-harvest management, and milling. In addition, research on formulation, processes, packaging, and storage to improve the quality of wheat-based products should be done continuously. Overall, food security could be strengthened by expanding wheat production and consumption, improving wheat quality, and increasing wheat self-sufficiency.

  • Semiconductor packages are increasingly moving toward miniaturization, lighter and high performance. Futhermore, packages become thinner. Thin packages will generate serious reliability problems such as warpage, crack and other failures. Reliability problems are mainly caused by the CTE mismatch of various package materials. Therefore, proper selection of the package materials and geometrical optimization is very important for controlling the warpage and the stress of the package. In this study, we investigated the characteristics of the warpage and the stress of several packages currently used in mobile devices such as CABGA, fcSCP, SCSP, and MCP. Warpage and stress distribution are analyzed by the finite element simulation. Key material properties which affect the warpage of package are investigated such as the elastic moduli, CTEs of EMC molding and the substrate. Geometrical effects are also investigated including the thickness or size of EMC molding, silicon die and substrate. The simulation results indicate that the most influential factors on warpage are EMC molding thickness, CTE of EMC, elastic modulus of the substrate. Simulation results show that warpage is the largest for SCSP. In order to reduce the warpage, DOE optimization is performed, and the optimization results show that warpage of SCSP becomes $10{\mu}m$.

  • Water glass is much cheaper than silicon alkoxide, so it has advantage for commercialization. A condensation by acid catalyst makes considerable effect about the properties of water glass based silica aerogel among many factors in silica aerogel process. The pore structural properties of water glass based silica aerogel such as specific surface area and pore size distribution have been investigated through the changes in the amount and the kinds of acid catalyst. It has been confirmed that water glass based silica aerogel is affected by various conditions of catalyst in the condensation reaction such as the kind, concentration, and the amount of mole of acid catalyst on the properties of final products. Especially, it is checked that the effect of mole of acid is more prominent than that of concentration. In the case for conventional method with introducing 4M HCl in condensation step, the silica aerogel could be synthesized which has $394m^2/g$ of specific surface area, 2.20 cc/g of pore volume, 22.3 nm of average pore size, and 92.53% of porosity. On the other hand, when 4M sulfuric acid was used with 73 mmol at the condensation step of water glass based silica aerogel, the pore structural characteristics of water based silica aerogel showed better properties than the case of using HCl, for example, specific surface area was measured as $516m^2/g$, and pore volume, average pore diameter, and porosity were obtained as 3.10 cc/g, 24.1 nm, and 96.1%, respectively.

  • Port industry has achieved a remarkable growth with a help from increase in container shipment and above all, transshipment that reflects international competitive power of Port industry amounts to 36% of the national harbor shipment. Therefore, this study speculates the impact of Port industry on national economy using the inter-industry relation table. As it considers the reason why international competitive power in Port facilities decreased as absence of investment, it is to present an effective investment plan for Port industry. Though Port industry as one of main national key industries play an important role in production of national economy, it has been evaluated as having relatively less importance. And when Port industry is managed independently, relying on foreign countries without improvement, price increase due to improper agreement of foreign enterprises and problems relating to securing safe transportational vehicles will have tremendous impact on national economy. And they should try to create added-value and support re-export of the exported and imported shipment through their processing and packaging by making Port zones bonded area. production of national economy, it has been evaluated as having relatively less importance. • The flooding and deterioration of water quality caused by urbanization and climate change are becoming more serious. In order to respond to this, studies on low impact development (LID) technology, which is designed to restore the hydrological system of the urban basin to its natural state, have been actively pursued all over the world, The announcement of the low carbon green growth law, hydrophilic area special law, etc., highlights the importance of technology such as the LID method. However, whereas various developments have been made in relation to the current LID element technology, there has been little research designed to verify its effectiveness. In this study, we analyzed the optimum spatial distribution of pitcher fire pitcher packing in parking lots using the K - LIDM model to verify the effectiveness of the low impact development (LID) method in the early stages. Using the eight package scenario and the three rain intensity scenarios, it was found that the lower 40% pitcher packaging results in an approximately 90% spill reduction effect, as in the case of the whole pitcher's package. The confirmation of these analyses and experimental verification is expected to ensure that the actual pitcher packaging will be used as a basis for arranging LID facilities such as urban planning and housing development in the future.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effects of hydrated potato starch on the quality of low-fat ttoekgalbi (Korean traditional patty) packaged in modified atmosphere conditions during storage. The ttoekgalbi was prepared from 53.2% lean beef, 13.9% lean pork, 9.3% pork fat, and 23.6% other ingredients. Two low-fat ttoekgalbi treatments were prepared by substituting pork fat with hydrated potato starch; either by 50% fat replacement (50% FR) or 100% fat replacement (100% FR). Both 50% and 100% FR increased the moisture, crude protein, and decreased fat content, cooking loss, and hardness. For MAP studies, 200 g of ttoekgalbi were placed on the tray and filled with gas composed of 70% $O_2$: 30% $CO_2$ (70% $O_2$-MAP) and 30% $CO_2$: 70% $N_2$ (70% $N_2$-MAP), and were stored at $5^{\circ}C$ for 12 d. During the storage time, both 50% and 100% FR showed higher protein deterioration, while no differences were found in CIE $a^*$, CIE $L^*$, lipid oxidation, and bacterial counts in comparison to control. The ttoekgalbi with 70% $O_2$-MAP was more red, lighter in color, and showed higher TBARS values compared with 70% $N_2$-MAP. The meat with 70% $N_2$-MAP showed lower aerobic bacterial counts in control than those with 70% $O_2$-MAP. The lower anaerobic bacterial counts were observed only in 50% FR and 100% FR packed with 70% $N_2$-MAP in comparison with 70% $O_2$-MAP. In conclusion, the fat replacement with hydrated potato starch showed no negative effects on the quality of low fat ttoekgalbi during storage and 70% $N_2$-MAP was better than 70% $O_2$-MAP for low-fat ttoekgalbi packaging.

  • $BaTiO_3$ is typical ferromagnetic materials with dielectric constant of above 200. $BaTiO_3$ nanoparticles applications are available for multiple purposes such as nanocapacitors, ferroelectric random access memories, and so on. Applications are is diverse from the dispersion of nanoparticles depending on the route of synthesis. In this study, $BaTiO_3$ nanoparticles were synthesized by two different methods such as oxalate method and sol-gel process (ambient condition sol method). Particle size and dispersion condition were studied according to the preparation method and capping agent. Poly vinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) was used as a capping agent in oxalate method and tetrabutylammonium hydroxide (TBAH) used as a capping agent in sol-gel process each. Cubic crystal structure of $BaTiO_3$ phase could be confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy was employed for the confirmation of the capping agent and $BaTiO_3$ nanoparticles. The particle size and distribution analysis was also performed by particles size analyzer and scanning electron microscope.

  • The distribution of temperature of flip chipped device with peripheral solder bump array was measured with variables, such as the locations and geometries of heater, the size of device, the size of passivation opening. The highest temperature was measured with the larger device, $3.0(mm)\times3.0(mm)$, which has the smallest heater at the center of device and the circular passivation opening. For 2 (watts) power input, the device shows the highest temperature of about $110(^{\circ}C)$. In contrast, the smaller device, $1.5(mm)\times1.8(mm)$, shows that of $90(^{\circ}C)$. In addition to the size effect, the increase of passivation opening size decreased the maximum temperature by about $10(^{\circ}C)$. From the measurement, the temperature of device could be controlled with the size and geometry of heater, the size of device and the size and geometry of passivation opening.
