The net enthalpy changes for the water desorption of sun-cured tobacco have been studied. In order to compare the values of net enthalpy changes for the samples at the same moisture contents, correlation analyses have been performed. The results are summarizing as followings : 1 . As temperature and water vapor pressure increased, equlibrium moisture content were approaching to the saturated vapor pressure of water. 2. The values of 1nP against the reciprocal of absolute temperature were linear for the water desorption of samples. 3. Multiple regression was analyzed to calculate the values of 1nP at the same moisture content. The significance of $x^2$-test for the multiple regression was 0.5%. 4. The values of net enthalpy changes for Basma were greater than those of Sohyang at the same moisture content.
The fuel operating ranges of fusion tokamak-based power plants are estimated using the improved engineering breakeven equation. The Lawson criterion equations are derived in the form of a triple product with a focus on engineering breakeven and the subbreakeven operating range. The relationship of fuel parameters to the power plant net efficiency is outlined. Analysis shows that the operating ranges of the suitable fuel parameters form a closed area, the size of which affects the net efficiency of the power plant. The obtained fuel operating ranges confirm the well-known fact that DT fuel is currently the only fusion fuel useable in tokamak-based fusion power plants. It is also shown that the energy utilization of pB fuel is possible in the subbreakeven operating range but is conditioned by the very high efficiency of the power plant equipment. For the utilization of DD, DHe3, and pB fuels, the required magnetic fields are indicatively estimated.

The accurate estimation of fish assemblages is highly dependent on the sampling gear used for sampling. We used data from 15 sampling sites along the Nakdong River, which is a large river in South Korea, to identify differences in assemblages and sizes of freshwater fishes collected with either cast nets or gill nets, the two most commonly used sampling gear in South Korea. The two gears differed in the fish assemblages they captured, with more species caught by gill nets. Further, due to its tighter mesh size, the cast net caught significantly smaller fishes than the gill nets(independent t-test, p<0.05). We found the cast net to be appropriate for species that inhabit shallow (less than 2 m) and open water, but inappropriate for deep water, habitats with plant beds, and nocturnal species. Thus, cast net sampling is not efficient in a large river environment, and a combination of sampling methods is more suitable for understanding fish assemblages in such habitats. In general, appropriate selection of fishing methods to specific habitats is necessary to improve data quality and minimize the misrepresentation of environmental conditions.
Three Phyllostachys stands of P. pubescens, P. bambusoides and P. nigra var, henonis in Sunchon were studied to investigate biomass, net production and nutrient distribution. Five $10m{\times}10m$ quadrats were set up and 20 sample culms of 2 years and over were harvested for dimension analysis in each stand. One year old culms and subterranean parts were estimated by the harvested quadrat method. The largest mean DBH, height and basal area were shown in P. pubescens stand, and followed by P. nigra var. henonis stand and P. bambusoides stand. There was little difference in accuracy among three allometric biomass regression models of logWt=A+B1ogD, $logWt=A+BlogD^2H$ and logWt=A+BlogD+ClogH, where Wt, D and H were dry weight, DBH and height, respectively. Analysis of covariance showed that there were significant differences in intercept among the linear allometric biomass regressons of three Phyllostachys species. Biomass included subterranean parts was the largest in P. pubescens stand(103.621t/ha), and followed by P. nigra var. henonis stand(86.447t/ha) and P. bambusoides stand(36.767t/ha). Leaf biomass was 6.3% to 7.8% of total biomass in each stands. The ratio of aboveground biomass and subterranean biomass in each stand was 1.87 to 2.26. Net production included subterranean parts was the greatest in P. pubescens stand(6.115t/ha/yr), and followed by P. nigra var. henonis stand(5.609t/ha/yr) and P, bambusoides stand(3.252t/ha/yr). The highest net assimilation ratio was estimated in P. pubescens stand(2.979), and followed by P. nigra var. henonis stand(2.752) and P. bambusoides stand(2.187). Biomass accumulation ratio of each stand was 2.679 to 5.358. Concentrations of N, P and Mg were the highest in leaves, and followed by subterranean parts, and culms+branches in all three species. Concentration of Ca was the highest in leaves, and followed by culms+branches, and subterranean parts in all three species. The difference in biomass among three species stands was caused by their culm size, leaf biomass, net assimilation ratio, and efficiency of leaves to produce culms.

Flooding based routing protocols are usually used to disseminate information in wireless sensor networks. Those approaches, however, require message retransmissions to all nodes and induce huge collision rate and high energy consumption. In this paper, HoGoP (Hop based Gossiping Protocol) in which all nodes consider the number of hops from sink node to them, and decide own gossiping probabilities, is introduced. A node can decide its gossiping probability according to the required average reception percentage and the number of parent nodes which is counted with the difference between its hop and neighbors' ones. Therefore the decision of gossiping probability for network topology is adaptive and this approach achieves higher message reception percentage with low message retransmission than the flooding scheme. Through simulation, we compare the proposed protocol with some previous ones and evaluate its performance in terms of average reception percentage, average forwarding percentage, and forwarding efficiency. In addition, average reception percentage is analyzed according to the application requirement.

In order to explain observed catalytic reactivity of aminophosphine complexes (seven-membered chelate), total energy, net charge, atomic orbital electron population, HOMO and LUMO energy of free ligands are calculated by PM3 methods of HyperChem 6.0. Free ligands are 1,2-bis{(diphosphino)amino}propane{$H_2PNHCH_2CH(CH_3)NHPH_2$;ligand 1},1,2-bis{(dimenylphosphino)amino}propane{$(CH_3)_2PNHCH_2CH(CH_3)NHP(CH_3)_2$;ligand 2},1,2-bis{(diphenylphosphino)amino}propane{$(C_6H_5)_2PNHCH_2CH(CH_3)NHP(C_6H_5)_2$;ligand 3}. The result showed that ligand 3 is stable than ligand 2 and ligand 1 and ligand 2 is stable than ligand 1 in total energy. Net charge of P atom is changed by H atom, methyl groups and phenyl groups in P atoms. Net charge of N atoms in ligands is nagative. The results of atomic orbital electron population are similar net charge data..
This research aimed to analyze the differences in financial variables classifying chain restaurants. A total of 126 samples were drawn from financial statements for $2001{\sim}2006$. As a result of analysis, there was a significant difference in Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root values at the significant probability value(p<0.05) based on F value in terms of stability among chain restaurants. Difference was found only in current rate and liabilities in ANOVA. There was a great difference in current rate among institutional restaurants, fast food restaurants, and cafeterias. There was a significant difference in Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root values at the significant probability value(p<0.05) based on F value in terms of restaurants' profitability. In ANOVA, difference was found only in net profits to net sales. It was revealed that all factors showed no significant differences in multiple comparison. All multi-variant test statistics showed a significant difference in growth and turnover. ANOVA showed a significant difference in net sales growth rate, net profit growth rate, and total assets growth rate.

The objectives of the current experiment were to study the response of the growth performance of early finishing gilts to different net energy (NE) concentrations in diets, and to compare the NE values of diets between calculated NE values and measured NE values using French and Dutch CVB (Centraal Veevoederbureau; Central Bureau for Livestock Feeding) NE systems. In a metabolism trail, the NE concentrations in five diets used for the growth trial were determined based on digestible nutrient concentrations, digestible energy, and metabolizable energy using a replicated $5{\times}5$ Latin square design with 10 barrows (initial body weight [BW], $39.2{\pm}2.2kg$). In a growth trial, a total of 60 early finishing gilts (Landrace${\times}$Yorkshire; initial BW, $47.7{\pm}3.5kg$) were allotted to five dietary treatments of 8.0, 9.0, 10.0, 11.0, and 12.0 MJ NE/kg (calculated, as-is basis) with 12 replicate pens and one pig per pen in a 42-d feeding experiment. The NE and amino acid (AA) concentrations in all diets were calculated based on the values from NRC (2012). Ratios between standardized ileal digestible AA and NE concentrations in all diets were closely maintained. Pigs were allowed ad libitum access to feed and water. Results indicated that calculated NE concentrations in diets (i.e., five dietary treatments) were close to measured NE concentrations using French NE system in diets. The final BW was increased (linear and quadratic, p<0.05) with increasing NE concentrations in diets. Furthermore, average daily gain (ADG) was increased (linear and quadratic, p<0.01) with increasing NE concentrations in diets. There was a quadratic relationship (p<0.01) between average daily feed intake and NE concentrations in diets. Feed efficiency (G:F) was also increased (linear, p<0.01) as NE concentrations in diets were increased. The NE intake per BW gain (kcal NE/kg of BWG) was increased (linear, p<0.01) with increasing NE concentrations in diets that were predicted from both French and Dutch CVB NE systems. Linear regression indicated that predictability of daily NE intake from the BW of pigs was very low for both French ($R^2$, 0.366) and Dutch CVB ($R^2$, 0.374) NE systems. In conclusion, increasing NE concentrations in diets increase BW, ADG, G:F, and NE intake per BW gain of early finishing gilts. The BW of early finishing gilts is not a good sole variable for the prediction of daily NE intake.

Experiments for catch and cluster analysis on the catch by gillnet for the Pacific herring were conducted using traditional nylon net (PA) and developing biodegradable net (PBS) with different monofilaments of #2 (=0.23 mm) and #3 (=0.28 mm) in diameter between 2011 and 2012, and of #2, #2.5 and #3 in 2013 in the eastern coastal waters of Samcheok, Korea. The total catch during the experiments was 3,337kg in weight and 16,757 individuals in number. Though the catch ratio of the Pacific herring in 2011 and 2012 was 97.4% and 98.7%, respectively, that of the Pacific herring in 2013 was 73.6% as the biggest and followed by goldeye rockfish (8.6%), black edged sculpin (8.4%), atka mackerel (7.2%) and Alaska cod (1.0%). The ANOVA analysis on the total catch in relation to net material showed that there was not statistically significant difference at the 5% level between nylon net (PA) and biodegradable net (PBS) (p=0.91). With the cluster analysis on the catch in relation to net material (PA, PBS) and twine thick (#2, #3), it showed the influence of net material on the catch was greater than that of twine diameter in this experiment. From the test of homogeneity on the catch by the gillnet with PA and PBS in which several species were caught in 2013, there was not statistically significant homogeneity in relation to net material (p<0.005). That meant the traditional gillnet of nylon (PA) was more efficient than the biodegradable (PBS) gillnet to catch several kinds of fish, however the PBS gillnet was better than the PA gillnet to catch the target Pacific herring.
