  • It studied modelling about employing analog PSS in domestic 500MW grade standard thermoelectric power plant in this paper. Modeling and parameters were verified by simulation of PSS response characteristics measured in AVR step examination and using power plant system model parameters decided by generator characteristics test. Through this PSS modelling research, contributed in domestic electrical power system small signal stability as that do modelling to be possible exact analysis of power system.

디-2-피리딜케톤을 이용한 산성의약품 선택성 막전극의 특성 (Potentiometric Characteristics of Acidic Drug Selective membrane Electrodes using Di-2-pyridyl ketone)

  • 산성의약품의 선택성 액체막 전극을 전기활성물질로서 di-2-pyridyl ketone (DPK)-금속-산성의약품간의 삼성분착물로 제조하였다. 금속이온은 $Fe^{2+}$, $Co^{2+}$, $Ni^{2+}$, $Cu^{2+}$ 등을 사용하였고, 가소제는 니트로페닐에텔계를 사용하였다. 메페남산 선택성 막 전극은 pH 8.9의 붕산 완충용액중에서 그리고 이부프로펜 선택성 막 전극은 pH 7.0의 인산 완충용액 중에서 각각 $5{\times}10^{-5}{\sim}10^{-3}mol/L$ 농도에서 검정선이 얻어졌다. 메페남산 및 이부프로펜 표준품 일정량 첨가에 의한 회수율을 측정한 결과는 99.0%와 98.4%이었고 상대표준편차는 각각 2.4%와 2.6%이었다.

일부 대학생들의 건강통제위성격과 건강증진행위간의 상관관계연구 - 1개 대학교 대학생들을 중심으로 - (A Study on Relationship between Health Locus of Control and Health Promoting Behavior of College Students)

  • This study was to investigated the relationship between health locus of control and health promoting behavior of College students. For this study, questionnaires were given to 300 students in the H University of Seoul and collected during the period from Nomber 17 to November 24, 1994. Health locus of control and health promoting behavior were measured by using the MHLC scale and a modified HPLP scale. Healthiness of life style is parameterized by self actualization, health responsibility, exercise, nutrition, stress management, and internal support. The data were analyzed using the statistics package SAS, yielding frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation. The result of this analysis are as follows: 1. Among the components of health locus of control, internal health locus of control showed the highestscore (mean: 3. 12, standard deviation: 0.46). Powerful others health locus of control followed next with the mean of 2. 30 and the standard deviation of 0.44. Chance health locus of control showed the mean of 2.29, and the standard deviation of 0.43 2. The HPLP mean score and the standard deviation of practice of health promoting behavior were 2.51 and 0.31 respectively. 3. HPLP correlated positively with internal health locus of control (r= 0.20, p<.01) and powerful others locus of control (r= 0.21. p<.001). However, HPLP inversely correlated with chance locus of control (r=-0.13, p<.05) 4. The demographic variables representing sex (t= 2.26, p<.05), health status (F = 5.52, p<.01) showed connections to health promoting behavior. Therefore, nurses should consider health locus of control when they take care of College students to improve such health promoting behavior as self actualization, exercise, internal support, stress management, and health responsibility. Further research is required to discover factors influencing health promoting behavior of College students.

H. pylori 감염 진단 시 14C-요소호기검사의 임상적 유용성 (Clinical Usefulness of 14C-Urea Breath Test for the Diagnosis of H. pylori Infection)

  • Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is common in korea and high incidence at gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer. $^{14}C-urea$ breath test ($^{14}C-UBT$) is regarded as a highly reliable and non-invasive method for the diagnosis of H. pylori infection. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diagnositc performance of a new and rapid $^{14}C-UBT$, which was equipped with Geiger-Muller counter and compared the results with those obtained by gastroduodenoscopic biopsies (GBx). One hundred sixty-eight patients (M : F = 118 : 50) underwent $^{14}C-UBT$, rapid urease test (CLO test), and GBx. The results of $^{14}C-UBT$ were classified as positive (>50 cpm), borderline (25$^{14}C-UBT$ or CLO test results with GBx as a glod standard. In the assessment of the presence of H. pylori infection, the $^{14}C-UBT$ global performance yielded positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of 93.3% and 83.3%, respectively. However, the CLO test had performance yielded positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy of 76.9%, 50.0%, respectively. In this study $^{14}C-UBT$ is a highly accurate, simple and non-invasive method or the diagnosis of follow up H. pylori infection.

Recovery of Ammonium Nitrogen and Phosphate from the Piggery Wastewater as Struvite and Its Assessment for the Reduction of Water Pollution Through the Field Test

  • Excess N and P from the livestock manure applied to farmlands, have entered the water systems and poses a serious threat to the natural environment. Consequently, there has been recent awareness towards the management of livestock manure and its related fields. In this study, piggery wastewater was collected from a piggery in Pohang city, Korea. At 800℃, thermal decomposition of a natural stone, magnesite (MgCO3), yielded powered MgO with particle sizes ranging between 10 to 100 ㎛. Furthermore, NH4+-N and PO43--P were recovered as struvite precipitates from the piggery wastewater, by adjusting the pH with MgO and H3PO4. At pH 10, the recovery efficiencies of NH4+-N and PO43--P were found to be 86.1% and 94.1%, respectively. Using an X-ray Diffractometer (XRD), the struvite in the precipitate was confirmed to be consistent with standard pure struvite. Further, the purity of the struvite precipitate was analyzed using an energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and thermal gravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), and found to be between 79.2% and 93.0%. Additionally, struvite-containing piggery wastewater and sawdust were mixed in a weight ratio of 2.5:1 and processed into a mature compost. The newly manufactured compost passed all quality standards required for first-class graded livestock composts. Moreover, this compost was sprayed directly onto the soil at the test site, and various parameters of the soil's effluent, such as total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (T-N), total phosphorus (T-P), and dissolved oxygen (DO), were analyzed and measured. Based on these results, it is determined that the newly manufactured compost can more significantly reduce water pollution than commercial compost.

염화코발트법을 이용한 직물의 동적 수분전달에 대한 연구 (A Study on Dynamic Moisture Transfer in Textiles Using Cobaltous Chloride Method)

  • Moisture related properties of fabrics in dynamic modes are considered to be important in the judgement of the subjective comfort characteristics of clothing fabrics. In the current study, an attempt to improve the cobaltous chloride test method was made which has been known as a convenient screening test for dynamic surface wetness. The color changes of cobaltous chloride treated fabrics on the simulated sweating skin were calibrated against standard color strips. The standard color strips were made of all typs of test fabrics and installed inside of the test tubes containing a series of saturated salt solutions, which gives more quantitative informations on dynamic moisture transfer Influences of fiber types and finishes on dynamic moisture transfer in textiles were studied using a single layer of fabric samples. Fiber types included $100\%$ cotton, C/P 50/50, C/P 35/65. Durable press and soil release finished cotton and C/P 50/50 fabrics were also included. There were significant fiber effects on the dynamic moisture transfer. The order of time taken to reach to the specified $\%$ RH was C/P 35/65$100\%$ cotton fabrics. It was possible to detect significant finish effects by increasing the concentrations of cobaltous chloride solutions. The order of time taken to reach to the specified $\%$ R.H was durable press$100\%$ cotton, C/P 50/50, C/P 35/65 and $100\%$ PET were placed at the inner side of the outer layer and tested. It was shown that cobaltous chloride treated $100\%$ cotton fabirc was easier to detect color changes than C/P blend fabic in the double layer experiments. By placing test sample under the cobaltous chloride treated cotton fabrics, it was able to detect the differences among the test samples, some of which were known to be difficult in padding with cobaltous chloride solutions. Besides, the double layer method would provide with the broader application of the cobaltous chloride method in !uture, since it is possible to test the dynamic moisture transfer of clothing as worn.

$^{18}F$-FDG 방사성의약품의 품질관리에 관한 조사 (A Study on the Quality Control of $^{18}F$-FDG Radiopharmaceutical)

  • 국내 $^{18}F$-FDG 방사성의약품의 품질관리 시험성적서에 기록되는 시험항목의 종류는 성상, 반감기, 방사성 이핵종, 방사 화학적 확인(Rf값 측정), 방사화학적 순도, Ethanol, Acetonitrile, Kryptofix, Aluminium, pH, Endotoxin, 무균시험, 실용량으로 총 13종류로 나타났다. '성상', '방사성 이핵종', 'pH', 'Endotoxin', '무균시험'에 대해서만 모두 기록하는 것으로 나타났고, '반감기', '방사화학적 확인(Rf값 확인), '방사화학적 순도', 'Ethanol', 'Acetonitrile', 'Kryptofix', 'Aluminium', '실용량'은 방사성의약품 제조기관 마다 기록여부에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 시험판정 결과는 품질관리 시험항목이 기록된 자료를 근거로 총 13개 항목 모두 100% 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 연구소에서 제조하는 $^{18}F$-FDG 방사성의약품의 품질관리 시험항목이 병원과 기업보다 많았고 방사성의약품의 시험항목수가 많은 것이 적은 것보다 안정성 확보에 대한 신뢰성을 높일수 있는 방법이므로 이에 대한 보완이 필요하다고 본다. 국내의 경우 방사성의약품의 안전성을 나타내는 품질관리 시험성적서의 시험항목은 제조기관마다 차이가 나고 표준화되어 있지 않는 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 보완이 필요하다고 본다. $^{18}F$-FDG 방사성의약품의 품질보증을 위한 표준화된 품질관리 시험성적서의 제시를 위해 미국의 GMP와 유럽의 CE Mark를 참고하고 전문가 자문을 통해 국내 실정에 맞는 기준으로 표준화해야 한다고 본다.

저방사화 철강재 (JLF-1)의 시험편 크기 변화에 따른 파괴저항곡선의 변화 (Variation of the fracture resistance curve with the change of a size in the specimen of reduced activation ferritic steel (JLF-1))

  • Reduced activation ferritic steel (JLF-1) is considered as a promising candidate material for blanket or first-wall structure of D-T fusion reactors. The fracture tests of fracture resistance curve (J-R curve) and $J_{IC}$ are desirable to investigate the exact fracture toughness of JLF-1 steel, since it has a high ductility. The fracture toughness of JLF-1 steel is affected by the configuration of test specimen such side groove, specimen thickness or specimen size. In this study, the fracture toughness tests were performed with various size(plane size and thickness) and various side groove of specimens. The test results showed the standard specimen with the side groove of 40 % represented a valid fracture toughness. The fracture resistance curve increased with increasing plane size and decreased with increasing thickness. However, the fracture resistance curve of half size specimen was similar to that of the standard specimen.

A Study on the Color of Natural Solvent for the Red Color Reproduction of Safflower

  • Safflower, a natural dye representing red, is the dye that materials and dyeing method are recorded in the literature, including materials and dyeing. Although the safflower is the same, the ash used as a mordant is recorded differently in each literature, which greatly affects the aesthetic perspective in realizing the traditional safflower red. Therefore, the optimal conditions for realizing the traditional safflower red were sought. The experiment was conducted by pH investigation, dyeing and color analysis by dyeing solution water, concentration, and temperature by ash, and the unique color of red was confirmed. As a result of the test, the pH point of time when the uniq ue color was expressed was 11.53 as goosefoot ash (natural bedrock water), which was 1:100 for concentration and 70℃ for temperature, which was easier to extract red pigment than other ash, indicating that it is suitable for safflower dyeing. The analysis of the ash showed that K and Si play an important role in dyeing, especially Si, which is an element that inhibits carthamon. The color of red was similar to that of KS Standard vivid purplish red in the ash of the goosefoot, and the other ash was deep purplish pink. In the light of findings, it was possible to quantify the dyeing method through traditional materials and find the standard color of red color, and it is judged to be a basic data for studying the unique color of natural materials.

광산배수의 적극적 처리시설에서 발생하는 슬러지 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Characteristics of Sludge generated from Active Treatment System of Mine Drainage)

  • 산성광산배수 처리방법은 적극적 처리방식과 소극적 처리방식이 일반적으로 사용되고 있으며, 이때 발생되는 부산물인 슬러지는 국내에서 약 5천 톤/년으로 발생하고 있다. 본 연구는 적극적 처리방식 중 물리·화학적 처리방식으로 정화 후 발생되는 슬러지의 특성을 조사하여 재활용 가능여부를 검토하기 위함이다. 5개소(D, H, S, T, Y) 수질정화시설의 슬러지의 특성을 물리·화학적 분석을 통해 검토하였다. 그 결과 pH는 pH 5.86 ~ pH 7.89로 측정되었고, 수분함량은 51 % ~ 82 %로 분석되었으며, 입자크기는 대부분 25 ㎛보다 작은 미립자로 구성되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. ICP-OES를 이용한 슬러지 내 무기물질 분석결과, Al, Fe, Mn의 농도범위는 각각 1,189 mg/kg ~ 129,344 mg/kg, 106,132 mg/kg ~ 338,011 mg/kg, 3,472 mg/kg ~ 11,743 mg/kg로 조사되어 고농도로 존재함을 확인 할 수 있었다. 그 외 무기물질 중 중금속류에 대해서는 T-슬러지는 As와 Zn, D-슬러지는 Cd, H-슬러지는 Ni, S-슬러지는 Zn, Y-슬러지는 Cd의 농도가 토양오염우려기준을 초과하였다. 또한 슬러지의 용출 특성을 알기위해 폐기물 용출시험(KSLT) 및 TCLP 시험을 진행하였다. 슬러지 재활용시 용출되어 지하수에 미치는 영향 확인을 위해 지하수 수질기준(생활용수) 20개 항목에 대하여 수행하였다. 용출시험결과 특정유해물질 16개 항목에서 모두 불검출로 확인되었으며, 일반항목 4개 항목에 대해서는 모두 생활용수 기준치 이내로 만족하였다. XRD, SEM-EDS의 분석결과, 슬러지는 주로 방해석, 석영의 패턴을 보였으며, 높은 Fe, O의구성비율로철수산화물이높은비중을차지하는것으로보였다. 이를 통해서 비매체접촉형 방식의 재활용의 가능성이 있을 것으로 판단된다.
